Hall of the Fourth Twilight

Upon entering the Fourth Hall, you see a gigantic weighing scale at the end of the hall, right in front of the gate to the Fifth Hall.

The plaque reads as follows:

24 Gold Ingots have been scattered throughout this hall. 23 of these weigh the same - one weighs just slightly heavier, beyond sensory recognition. Using the scale in the hall only up to 3 times, find the one gold ingot that is heavier than the rest. If the scale is weighed more than 3 times, or if the wrong ingot is selected, the puzzle will reset and the weight of all ingots will change.

After each of your posts in a thread, you are allowed to PM and ask to weigh any specific combination of ingots - the GM will PM you back telling you which side is heavier. For instance:

Player: "I weigh Ingots 4, 5, 6 against Ingots 1, 2, 3."
GM: "The scale containing Ingots 1, 2, 3 is heavier."

If you wish, you may save up your scale uses into a single PM. You can do something as followed:

- Player: "I want to weigh 1, 2, 3 against 4, 5, 6. If 1, 2, 3 is heavier, I want to weigh 1 and 2. If 4, 5, 6 is heavier, I want to weigh 4 and 5."

This would be an example of 2 scale uses in the same PM and would save time having to make multiple PMs.

Skills:
- Firewheel: The monster creates a spherical fireball that crashes down onto the ground. Targets struck by this attack are knocked down by the impact.
- Pumpkin Flame: A skill that causes the pumpkin to breath fire for 10 seconds. The fire has a range of about a meter. It can often be combined with Pumpkin Slam, so keep your distance.
- Pumpkin Slam: The monster crashes into the target, dealing physical damage.
- Self-Destruct: The monster explodes, dealing heavy fire damage to all targets within 3 meters. The monster will rapidly flash fire prior to using this skill.
- Teleport: The monster teleports up to 10 meters away, usually when it's in trouble.
Description: Floating red jack-o-lanterns. They tend to spawn alongside Frost Jacks.

Frost Jack

Skills:
- Pumpkin Glaciate: The ground within 10 meters becomes frozen, slippery like a skating rink. All enemies take slight ice damage over time as long as they are within this area.
- Pumpkin Freeze: A skill that encases the target in ice, from the ground up. If it's not dodged, characters must spend a few seconds resisting to break the ice.
- Pumpkin Slam: The monster crashes into the target, dealing physical damage.
- Ice Beam: The monster shoots a frigid beam that induces extreme cold on whatever it touches. Moderate ice damage.
- Teleport: The monster teleports up to 10 meters away, usually when it's in trouble.
Description: Floating blue jack-o-lanterns. They tend to spawn alongside Flare Jacks.

Ripper Jack
Level 21-30

Skills:
- Stealthy: Passive. The monster makes no noise when moving.
- Pumpkin Knives: The monster throws several projectiles forward, appearing as red knives that disappear upon contact. A fast move with very little startup animation.
- Pumpkin Scissors: Giant scissors appear out of the monster's chest, slashing at a target and dealing moderate physical damage. Its animation time is 1.5 seconds.
- Pumpkin Vines: Vines sprout from the ground and wrap the target's arms and feet, causing limb movement binding for 5 seconds.
- Pumpkin Bomb: The monster throws a miniature bomb shaped like a pumpkin that explodes after 5 seconds. It can damage the monster if thrown back at it.
Description: A jack-o-lantern with a shadowy lower body. It moves nimbly and strikes like an Assassin.

The Faceless
Level 31-40
Type: Spirit
Rank: Strong
Nature: Predatory [Non-Tameable]

Weakness/Resistances: Weak [Mind], Null [Physical]
Skills:
- Stealthy: Passive. The monster makes no noise when moving.
- Insanity Surge: Passive. Any target within 2 meters of this monster will gradually lose HP over time.
- Evil Voice: The monster's voice brings chills to any being that can understand it. If Tongue of Nature is toggled while this skill is used, it is turned off and the target is unable to move for 10 seconds.
- Devil's Grip: The monster shoots forth a tentacle-like appendage, grabbing a target and pulling them closer to the monster. Maximum range 5 meters.
Description: A ghost that takes the form of a faceless man in a suit. Said to manifest from peoples' nightmares. It appears out of nowhere from the walls of the mansion and attempts to abduct its victims.

Hypno-Thanatos
Level 41-50
Type: Spirit
Rank: Strong
Nature: Predatory [Non-Tameable]

Weakness/Resistances: Strong [Mind], Repel [Sleep]
Skills:
- Sandman Armor: Passive. Any target attacking this monster physically has a 10% chance of falling asleep for a full 10 seconds unless they are attacked by anyone or this status effect is removed.
- Hypnotism: The monster lulls the target to sleep for a full 10 seconds unless they are attacked by anyone or this status effect is removed.
- Nightmare: The monster attacks the sleeping target's subconsciousness and deals damage. Cannot be dodged or blocked if used validly. This attack is considered as a Mind effect.
- Euthanasia: The monster slashes the target with a magical scythe. Deals heavy damage if the target is asleep, otherwise it deals moderate physical damage.
- Dream Harvest: The monster absorbs the psyche energy coming from a sleeping victim to nourish itself. The monster recovers a moderate amount of HP, while the target's MP is decreased by a similar amount.
Description: A reaper in Pierrot attire. It seems to rule over the nightmares of Halloween.
