Ame heard the padded footsteps of her animals out in the cafe area. She had recently purchased the place but she had yet to get any furniture for her front room that she planned to turn into a cafe so naturally, the two animals were ecstatic for the large clear space. It was their favorite spot in the house, even next to the stable they had out back and the bedroom where they slept at Ame's feet on more than one occasion since she had moved herself and them here. She still visited Lynn every once and a while, but she had posted herself up in her house for a bit to get settled in and create new things to cook for her cafe when she had the furniture to open it. She had spent a long while looking for a decent woodcrafter, but so far, she didn't have any luck besides the level one adventurers. She was sure that they would eventually learn, but she didn't want to wait that long for them to level up enough to actually be able to create what she wanted. With the house, she had gotten some basic furniture in the back, so she had a couch and a table and chairs for eating at, and she had a bed, but that was it. She wanted to have more things, but she would have to work towards it. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither would her house be complete.
Now, Ame could hear her animals, but she couldn't see them, as she was in the back of the cafe area working in her deluxe kitchen. She had begun to create different things recently to be used in desserts, but she was working on making food coloring out of natural products, also known as other foods, certain foods. She had a great need for them and knew that she could make different colors depending on what she used to make them, but she had a good idea for each color of the actual food coloring, she just had to go through the process of actually making it and then bottling it. She wanted to be able to preserve it so that she was stocked up with a bunch of different colors and even though food never went bad, she wondered if there was a way to do that. She thought hard about how she could do such a thing, but she knew that she couldn't. She would need an outsiders opinion, well, not an outsider, but someone who wasn't a chef. She thought for a moment before it dawned on her and she opened her interface, scrolling through her friends list.
She clicked on Lavinia's name and then activated the telepathic calling. "Hey Lavi! This is your Nee- san here!" With her words she giggled, but continued shortly after. "Would you be able to come to my house? I need your opinion on something and I know Mamori is dying to see you again! I wouldn't mind showing you around either! Let me know if you can come, or just come over okay? I'm here now, so the location should show up on your map, but if it doesn't, just go to the front gates and I can come meet you. It's super close! Hope to see you soon!" She sent the message, hoping that the Enchantress wasn't busy. She thought that perhaps she should have told her that if she was then it was okay, but if she had a moment or two, she was sure that the girl would let her know, or just randomly show up at her house. She had yet to show it to anyone, so she was rather excited for her first visitor. Maybe she could make her something for coming and getting her opinion on things, but she would ask her when she got there.

| The pitter patter of little feet
Lavinia was in fact busy when Kitty called her. She was working on a new recipe for an item she wanted to create, she didn't have a name for said item yet but maybe Kitty could help with that. Lavinia was so deep in thought that she missed the call altogether. When she did finally notice the message she felt guilty for missing it. Listening to it immediately Lavinia's frustrated and agitated mood brightened as she listened to Kitty invite her over. Just like herself, Kitty had bought a house recently, but unlike Lavinia Kitty's house doubled as a cafe sort of shop. So Kitty's house was in town, perfect spot for a cafe, while Lavinia's was out in the middle of no where, secluded from the eyes of most other people. The reflection of personality between the two locations was rather, amusing. After being caged up in the shop for several days making potions Lavinia was ready to jump on any chance to have some fun like her life depended on it.
Being in her own home Lavinia decided to bring some supplies along with her to continue working on her recipe if she got the chance. Today might be one of those days where play actually comes before work for the enchantress, a rare thing even in her overworked state. Her inventory packed with a decent amount of equipment and ingredients Lavinia looks through her friends list to find Kitty's location. She's exactly where she said she'd be so the fastest way to get there would be by teleport. Raising her hand up into the air, she activates "Call of Home", teleporting her back to Londinium.
Londinium never really chances, at least not since the discovery of death not being permanint. As Lavinia walked the streets she smiled at the people she recognized but didn't really know. Shopkeepers, other adventures she had breif conversations with in the past, landers who were going about their business, it was amazing what a bit of fresh air could do when you are cooped up inside for several days straight. Lavinia didn't have much trouble finding Kitty's home, after all it just gave off a "this is Kitty's house!" vibe which made her smile. Standing in front of the door Lavinia knocks twice before letting herself in. Taking a few steps inside the door Lavinia looks around at the bare Cafe section of Kitty's shop, it isn't furnished yet, which is odd but Lavinia likes the overall design. "Kitty?" she calls out walking to the nearest door when her ears registers the padded steps of animal feet headed her way.

Ame sat down on a stool attached to the Island counter in her kitchen. She figured she would wait for a bit until Lavinia arrived, or messaged her back, however, she hadn't heard anything in a while and was getting impatient. "She probably hasn't seen the message yet." She let out a soft giggle and soon after got up from the chair. She figured she would start preparing the jars she had acquired to hold the food coloring in. She washed each jar and laid them out to dry on a cloth and then opened the fridge. She wanted to get everything set up now, so that if Lavinia said that she would come, or even just showed up like she had said to, it would all be ready to begin.
She would be making six different colors today; red, blue, green, yellow, orange and purple. Before she had opened the fridge, she took out six bowls, and a sifter, a small strainer with tiny mesh squares for the straining. She began to pull different things out of the fridge. First, she took out fresh raspberries, blackberries and mangoes. She washed the raspberries and blackberries and put each of them into separate bowls. Then she washed three small mangoes and set them on her cutting board, using a Sheep's foot knife, she peeled the skin off of the mangoes and then used her Santoku knife to chop them into small square pieces. Once she was finished with that, she put them in their own bowl and washed her knives to begin the next step. Next she would take out carrots, wash them and then skin them with the washed Sheep's Foot knife, chopping them into cubes like the mangoes and putting them into their own bowl. She next took out spinach, washing the leaves and put them, as well, into their own bowl. Before she could start on her next vegetable, she heard a soft yell call to her from the cafe room and she stopped and headed out.
Mamori danced happily as she heard Lavinia's voice call out to her master as she pranced happily over to the door where she was standing. She rubbed herself up against her leg, greeting her kindly as Spoticus rushed over to her, hopping quickly. "Intruder alert! Intrud- Oh, it's jus' tha' small lass. Yuh lucky, I was abou' tah unleash tha' beast on yah gurl!" He called out and then his voice became smaller as he began to recognize the girl. "Yuh changed yuh hair.. Didn' recognize yuh!" The small rabbit hopped over to her and sat at her feet, looking up to her. "Pick meh up!" Mamori looked to him and took her paw to his head. "Don't be so rude! She looks lovely with red hair!" The Kitsune looked up at her with loving eyes and, in english, she said "wel- come. Welcome Lavin- e- a!" Ame had been teaching them how to speak english so that they could interact with the other adventurer's without them having Tongue of Nature, and so far, Mamori was doing great, but she still couldn't quite pronounce some things, like Lavinia's name.
Ame made her way out of the kitchen, hearing Mamori speak to Lavinia in English. She clapped her hands together and exclaimed, "Great job Mamori!" She smiled widely and looked to Lavinia. "Welcome to my home! I'm glad you could make it!" She smiled widely and made her way over to the little enchantress. "I figured you would probably be busy, sorry to call you all the way here!" She smiled widely and would wait for her to speak.

| I want a pet bunny...
Lavinia braced for the potential glomping of a greeting she may get as Kitty's pets, Mamori and Spoticus, come to greet her. She missed the pair, she remembers the last time she saw these two she ended up being their personal petting machine most of the day, not that she minded. Lavinia bends over and scratches Mamori behind her ears "Hey Mamori." she says softly and then sees Spoticus and knows exactly what he wants, picked up. But he'll have to wait his turn, continuing to give Mamori her attention for a moment she turned toward Spoticus and scopped him up and tucked him in her arm like it was a basket. Taking her free she scratches the bunny's head softly "and how are you Spoticus?" thats when Mamori greeted her... in english. Lavinia's eyes widdened in shock and then she smiles at Mamori "Thank you." she says softly and then she looks around again "Have you seen Kitty?" she asks Mamori, she really didn't expect her to actally answer in english but perhaps she could lead Lavinia to her. All the while still stroking the bunny's head. Thats when Lavinia heard Kitty call out praising Mamori.
She smiles looking at Kitty still petting the fur ball in her arms. "Hey Nee-san. Thanks for inviting me and for the great greeting party." she says softly giggling at Mamori and Spoticus. Lavinia sighs and feels guilty again for not seeing her message at first "Yeah, sorry about that. I was busy actually, but you know I work to much and I always can make time for my Nee-san so here I am." she says smiling and then she looks down at Spoticus "Alright little guy, I'm gonna need my arms." she says softly to him and gently sets him down on the floor. Lavinia would hope he wouldn't protest to much to it or the nickname, and if he did protest the name, he'll have to get over it, Lavinia is keeping it. Walking over to Kitty she extends her arms out for a hug and afterwards gets down to business. "So, you wanted my opinion on something?" she asks curiously, Kitty didn't really give her much to go on in the message and after a lot of thinking and speculation Lavinia was rather curious by now.

Mamori smiled her fox smile to Lavinia and Spoticus grunted his happy grunts as she picked him up and began to pet him. He would have had another comment or too if she hadn't, but fortunately for her, he was now quiet as he sat in her arms feeling warm. As for Mamori, she felt pride as the girl gave her wide eyes and a smile and she nodded as she asked where Kitty was, but just looked behind her as she heard her master's voice behind her. As Lavinia put Spoticus down, he pouted lightly, but hopped over to Mamori and sat beside her. It was adult time now, as if they were young like children, and they both knew that Ame was serious about the things she needed to speak to Lavinia about, as they had both been through the torment of her questions and words too many times to count and they were glad to take a step back and let the poor enchantress have the mouth of the Kitty for a change, even though she usually got it worse then them, they just didn't know it.
Ame smiled to the girl and led her to the kitchen and as she turned back to her after leaving the two animals behind, she shook her head. "I'm sorry to pull you away from your work, but there's actually a few things I wanted to talk to you about. One of the things actually includes.. my work." With that she let out a soft giggle and through Lavinia a guilty gaze. She felt bad for taking her away from her own work, to help with hers, but it was something that she needed help with. "So, I'll get down to business before I hit you with the hard stuff.." She looked to the floor, mentally questioning whether she should really do what she wanted to do, but she quickly looked back up. "I've decided to try my hand at making food coloring." With her words, she shuffled her hands to the bowls of fruit and vegetables on the counter. "I know things don't perish in this world.. but I was hoping we could come up with a natural way to make the food coloring last, you know, forever. I tried before and this is what happened." She took a bottle off of the counter and held it up. The color had dropped to the bottom and clear water had produced at the top. "I know if you just shake the bottle, it'll return to the coloring, but I was wondering if you know how to make the coloring stay throughout, and not drop to the bottom." She hoped Lavinia didn't think she was stupid because of this but it really annoyed her having to shake it each time, not because it was time consuming or anything, because it wasn't, but just because she was afraid that the colors might dissolve from the food as well.
Once Lavinia gave her the answer of whether she could help or not, Ame put the bottle down and placed her hands behind her back. She took in a deep breath and worry flushed her face. "The other thing is, well, I'm going to leave Aeryn." She didn't look at Lavinia, and gave her no time to speak before she spoke again. "Before you say anything, I want you to know that I would never ask you to leave as well. I want you to be able to find your own way and if Aeryn is where you wish to be, then please stay. I don't want you to follow me because you think you have to, because you don't." She looked to her at that moment. "I don't know what I'm going to do just yet, join another guild? Create my own, maybe.. All I know is that, I feel like I'm not meant to be apart of Aeryn. I want to stay with you, and I wish I could stay with Balore, but, that's all changed now. We've become distant, me and him.. Maybe things would have been different if we had just stayed in our little group, but.. We didn't.. I couldn't.. and now that I've fallen for someone else.." She lowered her head to the ground and shook it. "I should have said something before, but I didn't want that. They're a big group, and sure, I might seem like I'm super social and whatnot, but when it comes to big groups like that, I lose my confidence.. I'm not myself, I'm sinking back into who I was in the real world, and I don't want that. So I'm stepping away. Maybe it isn't the right decision, but it's the one I am choosing to make." She breathed in heavily and looked up to Lavinia. She wasn't sure if she would understand, but should she have any questions on the matter, she was there, and they were alone, this was the perfect opportunity to make this clear between them, as she figured that Lavinia would probably be upset by her decision.

Lavinia turned and gave Kitty's furry companions one last smile before she'd give her friend her complete attention and follow wherever she lead. It was a good thing she did, listening to Kitty she needed help with her work "Oh it's fine, I can always make time for you Nii-San." she says hoping that it would instill that it was quit okay for Kitty to drag Lavinia away from her work, although dragging her away completely was another story. As she listened to Kitty explain everything with one half of her brain, the other half was doing rough calculations on various things for her own project she was working on. " "Before I hit you with the hard stuff" I wonder what she means..." she thought as Kitty continued to explain, inventing food coloring "Why would you need food coloring here? Wait... Christmas cookies... Duh. Great now I want cookies..." she thought listening to Kitty further. As Kitty explained the actual issue Lavinia reached out wishing to inspect the food coloring herself.
Taking the little bottle Lavinia holds it up to the light looking at the liquid inside intensely as she ever so gently swirls the liquid inside around. Upon close inspection you can see ever so tiny pieces of fruit or whatever Kitty mashed up to create the mixture. Last test she wanted to do and this was mostly just for curiosities sake. Taking the lid off she presses her finger against the top gives it a good shake and turns the whole thing upside on her finger. After a moment she flips the bottle back over and licks her finger tasting what was inside the bottle. "I thought so..." she says smacking her lips at the taste, Lavinia knew what the problem was or at least one of them. "Now I want strawberries..." she whispers as she sets the bottle down on the table. That's when she notices the bowl of the heavenly tasty delectable strawberries. She looks at the bowl and back at the bottle "Focus you! But... Strawberries..." she tells herself. Lavinia sighs "I think... to tackle the problem a test must be done on the strawberries..." she says quickly reaching and snatching two from the bowl and just before she starts nibbling on one she finishes by saying "A taste test..." while giving Kitty a ^_^ face.
Lavinia hummed thoughtfully to herself as she slowly nibbled on her strawberry looking down at the bottle. She it was pretty clear now that she got her fix of the heavenly tasty delectable strawberries she could focus on the task at hand. The answer to the pulp settling to the bottom of the bottle was pretty simple to fix. When crafting a potion the pharmacist would dissolve the herbs in a weak acid, nothing that would harm someone if they drank the stuff straight of course, but still powerful enough to get the job done. Same goes for Kitty's food coloring or so Lavinia thought. But then that would effect the taste of the food, since the solvent really doesn't taste all that well. "Okay... " she says finally, reaching into her bags and fatter some digging she pulls out a smallish bottle of a clear liquid and sets it beside Kitty's small bottle. "Your problem seems to be that you mash the fruit up and then you add that to the bottle filled with water. While water works and is a solvent, it's not very effective. This is what pharmacists call Grade 1 Solvent. You can make it yourself by pressing the juice of a berry from the swamp lands down south, it's just easier to buy it from the vendors. This would fix your pulp issue, but it doesn't really taste all that well. It seems to be a untold rule in my line of work where unless it's for kids it has to taste bad or at least unpleasant." she says giggling at the end.
Lavinia takes a moment to think, she remembers hearing that certain fruits or rather their juices once extracted could dilute and neutralize the acidic taste. "But, the solvent would effect the taste and we can't have that. But I remember reading about the juices or something from peaches maybe and I can't remember what or how it was done. Got any ideas? she finishes Lavinia was kinds sad that she couldn't help completely but maybe Kitty with her excellent cooking skills and knowledge could come up with something.
Lavinia looked at Kitty in shock as her brain tried to work though what she had just told Lavinia. "Wait... Wait... What? Leave Aeryn?" she thought Lavinia was about to protest when Kitty hastily continued. She did her best to listen and let her dear friend finish what she had to say. As Kitty explained Lavinia's glaze like Kitty's drifted from the floor to her friend and back again. "B-but I want to follow Nii-San..." she whispers looking at the floor, the conflicting mess of emotion vying for her attention and the irrational thought of losing Kitty puts Lavinia on the verge of tears. So Kitty doesn't see Lavinia walks over to a window and looks outside as everything settles and she tries to work it out in her head. "No stop it, your acting like a child. Think this through like always." Lavinia tells herself as she looks out the window and let's out a heavy sigh. "I guess I can't talk you out of it, obviously, its a good reason. So, what happens to our adventures then? I guess that'll stop once you find a new guild." she asks in a soft tone still looking out the window. Lavinia would wait for Kitty to answer before she asked her next question "What happens if you don't find one?" she continues in the same tone as before. Once again Lavinia would wait for Kitty to speak before she would continue. Lavinia really didn't want Kitty to leave Aeryn, but if she was returning to her old self it was a must. She just didn't want to lose her best friend.

Ame watches Lavinia closely as she asks her about the solvent and then tilts her head slightly to her last sentence. 'A.. Test?' But as Lavinia takes one of the strawberries from the bowl, Ame lets out a long laugh. "Oh goodness, you had me scared there for a moment!" She finds herself walking to the fridge as Lavinia speaks and grabs out a separate bowl. "I figured you would want a snack." Her voice is warm as she smiles widely and lays out a bowl filled with strawberries for the adorable Enchantress before her. She walks back around the counter and continues to listen to Lavinia closely as she continues to talk about how to fix the separation issue with her vial of food coloring. As she finishes, Ame's eyes grow wide and she snaps her fingers as if a light bulb just went off in her head. "Lavinia! You are a genius!!"
Ame rushes to a nearby counter and pulls out a bottle of vinegar and a bowl of cocoa powder that she had made a while back. "Vinegar is just the agent I need and the cocoa powder will dull it down so that it doesn't have the taste or smell, in fact, it won't have a taste or smell at all because they balance each other out so well!" She shakes her head lightly and lets out a small giggle. "I knew there couldn't be anyone else I should call. You never let me down little one!" She smiles widely and reaches her hand over, patting the red haired Lavinia. It was then that Ame stopped, her hand falling slowly as she laid it down on the counter. She felt her head drop and shook her head. She was so grateful to the girl and really, she did want her to follow her, but she knew that she couldn't tell her to, she had to give her the choice, let her walk her own path.
"Lavi, me leaving Aeryn doesn't mean that we can't still be friends.. We can still have adventures, and meet with each other and go to the beach and have picnics. You are more than welcome to come here at any time you wish or to send me a message. Not being in a Guild together doesn't mean that we have to break our friendship. I would never allow it.." With her question, Kitty smiled and looked up at her. "If a guild finds me, then I may join after careful inspection, but if I don't find one, then maybe I'll go ahead and create my own!" She let her smile dim, but still remain. "And if neither works out, then maybe I was just meant to be a solo Cleric. Well, not solo necessarily in parties or battles, but someone who just isn't supposed to be in a guild. You know, I really like the people in Aeryn still, including you, it just isn't for me. I'm sorry, I should have told you sooner.." She gave her a soft smile as her tone drifted into a whisper but she lightly shook her head and smiled once again.

Lavinia grins as Kitty reacts to her test and after finishing it she comments "They pass, thank you Nee-san." with a smile. It wasn't much of a surprised that Kitty expected that Lavinia would have wanted to eat the strawberries, after all they are strawberries. The fruit of the gods and don't try telling her they aren't, you don't want to argue with a smart stupid person who loves strawberries. Lavinia was unsure if her little ramble about solvents would actually be of any use to Kitty and her project for food coloring. It didn't take her long to find out though, as Lavinia could practically see the light bulb above Kitty's head turn on. The enchantress' cheeks flushes slightly at the compliment of being a genius, her bookworm like aptitude just came in handy for once. She watched Kitty run off to grab something from the counters and brings then back, happily munching away on her fruits of the gods. She listened to Kitty explain what she was doing still happily munching away, it's a miracle she doesn't turn into one. Now that's an idea, a potion that will let you turn into a strawberry. Nothing else, just a humanoid sized strawberry, no arms, legs or anything. She wondered if you tried to eat the person would they taste like strawberries, would that count as canniblizim, thankfully this is when Kitty's words of thanks broke her from her day dream. Swallowing her current strawberry Lavinia gives Kitty a smile before commenting and plopping another in her mouth. "Glad I can help."Lavinia listened quietly as Kitty replied to her concerns about her leaving Aeryn. All of what she said was understandable, Lavinia just didn't want her to leave. It felt like, when your big brother goes off to fight some war that he won't come back from, it feels like she is losing a member of her family. But Lavinia stayed quiet until Kitty seemed to be finished not wanting to interrupt. Turning to face Kitty from the window, mainly because the forth wall whispers that Lavinia was looking out the window, but I really don't remember and am to lazy to go look and see what she was doing. Giving Kitty a smile before she spoke softly giving a slight shrug after. "I guess there is no changing your mind at this point. So I guess all I can say is good luck."Lavinia really had no clue how to make food coloring but luck was on her side today, at least partly. The whole using an acidic substance I dissolve any particles in the dye was just lucky cross over of their two crafting classes, it probably wouldn't happen again. "So, what's next? Mix them together and hope for the best?" she says smiling expecting a show from Kitty, after all her cooking skills are magical. Ame smiled widely at Lavinia with a slight nod of her head. "I'm happy you approve!" She let out a small giggle and as the young enchanter spoke to her, all she could do was smile. She really couldn't have asked anyone else to help her with this project. Lavinia was one of the most intelligent people she knew and she knew a lot of people. She found her ideas to be spectacular and was always interested in hearing what was turning that little noggin of hers. She came up with ideas that Ame couldn't even begin to imagine and taking on the subclasses she did just showed her her level of intelligence. It was far, far beyond that of her own. Sure, she cook and sure, she was a genius at computers back in the real world, but the science behind what Lavinia did, it far amassed her own. Next to Lavinia, Ame was what she looked like, a dumb blonde. The internal thought made her giggle a little, but her she looked back at Lavi as she spoke again, and nodded her head.
"Thank you for being so understanding and patient with me. I never expected anything that's been happening to happen, but I suppose that's life." She shrugged off her thoughts at that moment, as it was time for her to get to work. She wanted to finish this project so that she could truly begin to bake the things that she wanted to desperately to create. Her love of art was flowing and she needed to show it through her food. Not to mention, she just really wanted a cupcake.. She blinked at Lavinia, drool basically running down her face and she blush a bright pink as she wiped it away and giggled. "Well, basically. First, I need to grind these babies up."
She took the bowl of the already cut up strawberries and a thick, club looking item known as a pestle and began to mash them up until it was a bowl of chunky strawberry liquid, almost looking like jam. She mashed it a bit more and then took the small, fine strainer and put it over a clean, empty bowl. She poured the mash into the strainer and once the liquid was completely drained, she put the strainer aside, planning to use the rest in a recipe later on. She took the vinegar and splashed about a quarter of a teaspoon into the liquid and mixed it up. She cringed at the smell of it and took a half a teaspoon of the cocoa powder and mixed it into the vinegary, strawberry liquid. She took a wisp and whipped it until the cocoa was completely dissolved. She smelled the liquid, just a faint smell of strawberries, and then took a small taste on a spoon. She tilted her head slightly, smacking her lips together and added another quarter of a teaspoon of cocoa powder. Once she had whipped it away, she tasted it again and nodded with a smile.
She held out a small spoon full of the liquid to Lavinia. "Tastes like chocolate strawberries!" She grinned wide and waited for Lavinia to take the spoon before pouring the liquid into a bottle and sticking it into the fridge. "I have a few more bottles to make so hopefully it turns out, but I like to let it sit for a bit before I test it, that way I know that it won't curdle the cream when I mix it together." She would make the rest of the colors as she waited, and then once the bottles were filled with different colors, she wanted to make something to test them on. "Do you like cupcakes Lavi?" She planned to make some once the formula was complete. She couldn't risk the vinegar and cocoa powder mixture tasting to strong as the dye really shouldn't have had a taste to begin with, but she knew there was no sediment, and no way that the dye could curdle the cream, she could finally sell the dye and make her shop flourish with color!
