[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]JADE [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Jaqueline Ross [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 21 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: milla maxwell, TALES OF XILLIA [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Den [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] Jaqueline has dark red eyes and long, wavy chocolate blond hair that reaches down to her back. The tips of her hair are a shade lighter than the rest of its body, and a single, curved strand of green hair sticks out from the front. She stands an average height of 5'6 with the lean and slender built of a gymnast, and her strength lies in the flexibility and precision of control in her movements. She doesn't like crowds or or being the center of attention, and so forces herself to be dull and ordinary to others by avoiding eye-contact and taking minimal movements during her interactions with people. In Elder Tale, she chose a race that allowed her to have wolf ears and tail the same color has her hair. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Thanks to her rough childhood, Jaqueline learned to become independent. In everyone's eyes, she is a strong and hard woman who hides her weaknesses and pains from the rest of the world. Lack of luxury and pleasures in life turned her into a cold, greedy and selfish woman who is not above manipulation, deceit or immoral acts to get what she wants. She would do everything and anything to make sure she isn't bullied or abused by others. This makes her constantly cautious and distrustful of others, rarely opening up to anyone she meets because she believes that everyone is only looking out for themselves and that she has to do the same. Her cowardly nature and ambitions for power and survival make her a difficult ally who would be disliked by many. But she is stubborn and diligent, and for the right price or incentive would serve as a valuable companion. To those she is closest to, she is a shy and kind person who lacks confidence in herself. The mental strain of keeping up her mask, and the fear of being discovered as weak, exhausts her and draws the life and energy out of her, making her constantly languid and melancholy. Despite that, she genuinely looks out for those she cares, and is willing to do everything to protect them and make them happy. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Jaqueline is the eldest daughter of a poor family with four children. Her parents' relationship was not approved by their families, so they agreed to run away together and get married even though they had to start from scratch and would have no one they can turn to for help. Things were good in her family while she was the only child. Both of her parents took on jobs and managed to sustain the family, enough that they could even spend a bit of extra for the small pleasures in life. But that all changed when her mother became pregnant and had triplets. Suddenly, they were supporting a family of six, and the income they earned was barely enough. Jaqueline was forced to help her family by taking care of her siblings and doing most of the household chores - something she resented when she was in her early teens. Jaqueline hated the fact that they lived so poorly compared to the rest of her classmates. Among other people, she pretended that they were not living in scarcity, going so far as to steal when she was desperate enough; all for the sake of being accepted by her peers. Even though she was caught several times, she refused to listen to her parents and continued to do things the way she wanted to. During her late teens, her father collapsed while he was working on one of his part-time jobs and was sent to the hospital. Not only were the medical bills very expensive, but her father had become too sick to work and would not be able to recover completely. Jaqueline was forced to stop going to high school so she could help her mother earn a living. All of her so-called friends abandoned her when they heard the news, and that was when she realized how cruel she had been to her family for always desiring more, even though they couldn't afford it. Jaqueline grew less rebellious and more mature, lovingly caring for her family and promising to herself that she would do everything she can to get them out of their financial situation. Her whole life now revolved around her family, and she was content with having no friends. When she reached her twenties, both of her parent's families discovered where they were hiding and actively approached them. The years apart have made them more forgiving and less angry of the couple's decisions, and they welcomed the family back, eagerly supporting them in their time of need. No longer forced to earn a living in order to survive, Jaqueline was able to go back and finish her schooling. This has given her lots of free time, which she began to spend in front of her computer. She enjoyed video games in particular; liked how she could pretend to be someone else and gain so much wealth and power the longer she played. It was no surprise that she would end up discovering Elder Tale, and as a result she was among the thousands who were suddenly brought to a world similar to the game. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]-Jaqueline has difficulty in interacting normally with others. Usually she ignores them or treats them coldly. -Like a child, Jaqueline loves shiny, expensive things -Even though she knows stealing is wrong and has given up on it in real life, she enjoys acting like a thief in games and usually takes on such roles where she can gain as much money as one can |
