When Klide learned that he had been carried to the house but Lavinia, and also when he learned it was her house. He was less surprised by that later, have had been expecting something like that. It had to be either her house or that of a close friend. He slowly munched away at his food and drank his juice. When he finished both the food and the drink, he thanked her for the meal, and stood to wash his dishes. He stood at the sink and ran water over the plate, and into the glass, rinsing both thoroughly and scrubbing them with his fingers. He finished washing his dishes and put them onto the drying rack beside Lavinia's dishes. Lavinia had said "If you want, I have a bath down the hall that you can use to wash off with. Although, I don't have any clean cloths for you to wear, at least one's that would fit you. Unless you want to wear a dress..." and both her and Klide shared a laugh after her little joke. He looked at her after placing his dishes on the drying rack and said "Lavinia, I think I will take you up on your offer. I hope it is not an inconvenience for me to bath right now. I will pay you back for your kindness in any way I can if you will accept it. Just ask, and I will do my best to acquiesce your request." With that, Klide walked out of the room and headed for the bathing room, and closed the door behind him as he entered. Klide untied his belt and dropped it onto the cold stone floor of the bathing room. He slid out from the rest of his clothing and placed it next to the belt. His bare skin felt warm and moist in the steamy mist which slid over his body like a specter, seemingly guiding him into the source of the vapor. He stepped into the stone bath, which was already filled with warm water. He scrubbed the dried blood from his skin, and found that most of his wounds had already be closed. Lavinia's potion had done it's job, and had he drunken the second one, he would be completely healed now. After he finished removing the blood and specks of mud on his person, he submerged himself completely and rose to the when after about twenty seconds. Then he rested against one of the large stones in the bath and let the little waves in the water bounce off his skin and reverberate in the opposite direction. After several minutes of relaxing, Klide climbed out of the bath and found a towel. He dried his skit and shook the water out of his hair. Then he wrapped the towel around his waist. He walked out of the bath with his clothes in hand, and walked back into the room he'd woken up in, knocking before he did, in case Lavinia was inside. If she was, He would grab his clothes and change in the bathing room. If she was not there, he would change in the bedroom. Word Count: 526 Total Word Count: 5984+526=6500 Tags: Lavinia

LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: @blazeedge Klide's words of appreciation brought a smile to Lavinia's face. But they were unneeded, she was just happy to help a friend and the house is a little to quiet when she's by herself. "It's not a big deal, come find me after you finish." Once her own dishes were done Lavinia wiped her hands dry on towel and decided to head for the library. The library was probably one of Lavinia's favorite places in her home. But it was some what unkept, it could use a dusting but Lavinia never really found time to do it herself. She could do it now, but she has a guest and thought it would be rude to start cleaning the house while Klide was here. Walking over to a bookshelf Lavinia runs her fingers across a section of books and plucks one from the shelf called "The sword through the centuries". The enchantress has taken to studying swords and how to use them so she can start using them herself. Taking the book over to the sofa with her Lavinia sits and opens the book to where she has left her bookmark and continues where she left off. Lavinia wanted to adapt to a new style of play for her class, or at least new to her. She would swap out some of her lesser used skills for skills that are more offensive or require a sword. So she would be a melee support hybrid, it sounded like a good idea in theory. It would have made the battle with that brute earlier in the day easier that's for sure. So here Lavinia sat, reading waiting for Klide to come find her when he was done. Lavinia really didn't know what they could do next since she doubted Klide was the reading type like herself. This next section is brought to you by Hirosame, it was strange really. Why a caster would want to use their fists as a weapon. Oh I didn't mention that yet did I? Well, I need ap so I'll share. Well because if you have one hand free why not use it? Makes sense? I hope so or you my dear reader are an idiot. So with that fancy skill us none monks can use our appendages as weapons too! Great right? So with that Lavinia can slash, stab, punch, kick and still deal decent damage but still provide support, awesome huh? Monks are so lucky, especially Hirosame, why you ask? Well I'll tell you! Not only is he the pink power ranger, but he also had this awesome rare affinity for flying pans and having ladles embedded into his skull by someone old enough to be his great grandmother. Wait that isn't awesome, that's kind of pathetic really. Getting beat up by a granny like that. Now if you want a real monk just look at Tobin and his manly beard. It's so full of spilled brew it could keep the world wasted for a week! But it's okay Hiro, we still <3 you. The steam in the bath had softened his clothes a little by warming and dampening them, and they looked much cleaner now. He put them on and stretched his shoulders. Then he went back to the kitchen and grabbed his swords from up from the floor. He slid both through his belt and walked off into the house in search of Lavinia. He walked passed a few rooms he had passed earlier, opening some doors along the way, until he saw Lavinia, her nose stuck in a book as she sat in the large library he had seen earlier. Klide walked in quietly, trying not to disturb her. He looked at the cover of the book she was reading. "The sword though the centuries?" He read aloud. "I did not know you were interested in swords Lavinia." He looked at the Enchanter. "Your know, I... I could teach you a thing or two if you would like. I have a bit of experience, both here and in the other world. If you want to, we can go over the basics and try to hunt something down. Maybe we'll even catch dinner." He joked. [attr="class","pictureA"] LaviniaLevel 26: Enchanter Level 22: Pharmacist Level 11: Scholar Note: ... Tag: @blazeedge Reading her book still as she waited for Klide and when he did find her his comments made her smile. However she didn't acknowledge him for a short moment, she just wanted to finish the page. Placing the bookmark in the page and snapping it shut Lavinia looks up at Klide wearing the smile still. "I'm interested in a lot of things you don't know about. Sure I'd love to, but what about your injuries?" she says setting her book down on a end table and stands looking at Klide and then his body. Lavinia was worried, after all despite the potions she gave Klide were some of her best he was still pretty injured.
After the concerns were wavered Lavinia opened up her inventory and equipped her sword. It wasn't much, just a low level sword with a fire enchant, but it would do the job of practicing. "Fine, while my guardians never told me not to play with swords in the house, I still think it's a bad idea." she says smirking and leading Klide outside into the small grassy yard. The area wasn't anything special, just a small swath of short grass, you could probably pitch a tent or two in it for reference.
Unsure how to begin Lavinia looks to Klide for guidance. "So, where do we begin." Lavinia guessed maybe how she held the sword would be first or maybe her stance while holding it. She really didn't have a clue for once, so she was grateful for hopefully the worth while teachings Klide will instruct her in. She thought about commenting on how to actually use a sword and not get all beat up and dirty instead. Kind of like an inside joke, but after some consideration Lavinia decided such a joke would be in bad taste. Considering Klide fought to protect her and got injured in the process. She didn't realize how flattering that really was until now, how strange. Made by Sileas; with help from Neun, Kyou, Saber, Saki, and Oxford. Klide was intrigued when Lavinia said "I'm interested in a lot of things you don't know about. Sure I'd love to, but what about your injuries?" She said this as she set her book down on the end table next to her. "Thank you for worrying about me Lavinia, but I am quite alright. These wounds will close in a short time so there is no reason to delay your practice." Klide said, trying to reassure her that he had no problem with training now. Lavinia seemed to accept his words and ignore the injuries, as she opened her inventory, and equipped a sword. "Fine, while my guardians never told me not to play with swords in the house, I still think it's a bad idea." Lavinia said, smirking, then she led him out of the house, and into a small grassy yard. Lavinia looked at Klide, seemingly unsure of what to do now. "So, where do we begin." She asked. Klide thought for a moment before saying anything. "Well, don't focus on your sword for now." He said, and then tossed his own swords to the side of the clearing. "Put you sword down for a bit and just focus on your stance. When your stance is good, you can practice swinging." "Now firstly, when you swing the sword, you want to make it more powerful without being forced to over swing and loose some control of the weapon. To avoid that, you swing with your entire body, not just your arms. For starters, put your left foot about four or five inches ahead of your body, and keep your right foot about eight inches behind you." As Lavinia started to attempt the stance, moving her feet and adjusting to what Klide had said, he began to explain why the stance was good. "This is a firm stance which gives your body good support, not only for swinging, but for holding your ground against an attack. If I were to push you when you stood normally, you would likely fall over very easily, but with this stance, if i were to push you, it would take a lot of work on my part, and you would have a much easier time fighting the push." As he told her how the feet should be orientated, Klide demonstrated the stance for reference. He stood a bit to the right of her front. "Good, Good. Your feet placement looks great, Now, turn your torso to face me without moving your feet. With your body turned like this, it give the option of rotating your abdominal muscles along with your strike when you attack." Klide looked at Lavinia as she made the simple turn into the correct position. "Good work so far, now lift your sword and hold it at your right side, parallel to your head." Klide stepped forward and guided Lavinia's hands onto the sword handle. her right hand was directly below the guard, and her left hand was right under the right hand. Klide separated her hands about an inch, and then asked that she loosen her grip on the handle a little bit. "Your grip is to tense. It is common in most people to grip their swords to tightly when they first start, be it because their excited or nervous, but it really helps to have a loose grip. It makes the strikes flow more easily, and that is what you want in sword fighting, to have your strikes move very fluidly, like the elements. Throughout history there have been techniques based on the concept of the four elements; Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth. Try to visualize moving with such natural fluidity when you strike, but remember to swing with control. Nature needs that, it need to be controlled from time to time. Especially when it gets very aggressive, unpredictable, and without direction."
Klide stepped back, and gave Lavinia a once over. The stance looked good, and he stepped directly in front of her. "Now, when you swing, Bring your right foot forward, past your left foot, and rotate your core while the sword comes down. When you swing like that, you are using the strength of your entire body, and that makes you force that poses an actual threat. Now I want you to swing at me, If you hit me, then you are likely naturally very skilled, since you can not learn muscle memory from a book. Good luck, remember to swing with your entire body without letting yourself become too stiff, and aim for my chest." With that, Klide smiled and awaited the strike. He only hoped his time spent training and the added speed of the Swashbuckler class would be enough to side step the strike. Word Count: 792 Total Word Count: 5984+792=6776 Tags: Lavinia
