Insulating Gloves
Materials Required: 2 Reinforced Wire, 2 Old Diodes

Other Requirements: Level 11+ Alchemist.
By using proper wiring and a stable understanding of the basics of alchemy, an alchemist is able to produce a set of fingerless gloves that, through the use of a negligible amount of mana, prevent mana from leaking out of the hands or into the hands. As a result, an alchemist can avoid tainting his materials with his own mana, anima, psyche, and so on. Any user of these gloves would be able to hold a mana fragment of any kind without the mana fragment disappearing, for instance. The downside is that mana powered objects, such as a mana-powered lamp, cannot be powered through direct contact while these gloves are worn. This item is considered a 'tool' and is not consumed during crafts.
Explanation: Last research was an elemental bauble that sucked in the world around itself, including that of the user's. Scoria wishes to avoid that. Also the Magitech Inductor that was researched was intended to be combined with this so as to be able to still power things without destroying the fragments and such. Basically make lives easier and all that jazz. Not sure what other explanation to give. The proper gloves will come out soon enough.
