[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"] Aeon [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Matthew Potter [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 17 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Melt, Tower of Druga [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Deathwatch101 [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]Aeon/Matthew is around 5ft 10 inches tall, he is rather thin weighing around 112 pounds. His hair is a dark brown with the occasional grey hair around the crown of his hair mostly. His eyes have two colours the inner ring of colour is a hazel brown and the outer ring is a larger ring of grey. He doesn’t appear to have much fashion sense preferring to wear whatever he finds comfortable to put on, preferring in person to wear things like fleeces and combats and boots rather than shoes. Aeon (character) has two ornate tattoos one on each hand, they form a four pointed trinity symbol with the elements of earth, wind, fire and water on his racial tattoos. He walks upright and tall, but when sitting tends to lean forwards, or bring his feet up onto the chair. Sometimes when walking the bottom of his shoes may graze along the ground. His hair can normally be found to be un-kept but he does try to prevent it from sticking up if he can. His character seems to be built to suit how he is in real life, with a few adjustments seemingly like a test character to see how character creation works. If possible he tries to keep his face covered. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Aeon/Matthew prefers to follow his own initiative when doing thinks, preferring to take action by the feeling he gets rather than judging the situation, putting himself normally towards the vanguard, close to the battle, reacting on the fly and engaging the enemy alongside his battle brothers. He is equal in judging and perceiving a course of action that will occur and reacting to it. He finds himself normally out casting himself or binding feelings inside him, rather than discussing them with others, but he happily will take on other people’s feelings and discuss their issues with them in attempts to help them along or cheer them up. He is rather stubborn and will follow his actions through even if it leads him to his end, he prefer to stand by his morals and actions, for saying your sorry Is just an excuse for your actions you should follow them with your head up never abandoning them. He is rather vocal in his opinions and will speak up, rather than hiding in the shadows, he sits in a more strategic mid-set, feeling the tune of battle rather than observing the battle. Some would say he is rather eccentric and crazy, because his actions do not follow what the “normal” would do. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Matthew is a rather experienced yet young player of mmo’s, he would normally play the role of a tank, being in the front line, defending others from the enemy forces. This can normally be seen in his personality as he prefer to be fighting towards the front and his choice in subclass. He is rather intelligent being highly advanced in science and maths, while being more moderate in English, he seems to like working with his hand having done tech courses. He has a rather wide range of knowledge, he collects from random sources that he picks up and seems to just store for whenever they end up being useful. He has a younger brother, whom he doesn’t get along with very well, it’s best to say they are similar in many regards so clash easily. He is rather bad with love finding hard to speak about himself in regards to it, as well as being not so good at developing relationships further than friendships with the opposite sex. Having had problems in the past as well. He preferred in schooling to be the one asking questions as well as answering them, occasionally completing other peoples homework. When he first starting driving motorbikes he was apprehensive, before growing into a love for the machine and deciding to focus on driving them over cars. This barrier is most effective against ranged attacks, while anyone who comes close enough for a physical attack can quite easily bypass the barrier's defense. [attr="class","skill"]Serpent Bolt: A spell that shoots an initial blue-purple lightning bolt toward a target. However, rather than discharging entirely on the target on contact, the lightning remains as static energy. For 30 seconds at about 3-second intervals, the electricity arcs away from the target to damage and stun any other nearby enemies. As a result, it serves as a slight deterrent against defensive formations. Although this spell has a fairly long cooldown time, it has a fast casting speed and is often favored for use at the beginning of a battle. Because the target used to channel the electricity is not damaged by the spell, many Sorcerers also tend to cast it on themselves or a teammate as a supportive offense. [attr="class","skill"]Thunderbolt Crash: The Sorcerer enchants a weapon with the lightning element, causing it to glow white and occasionally release sparks from its surface. A target struck by this weapon is inflicted with a minor paralysis effect. It can also affect a target who uses uninsulated metal equipment. [attr="class","skill"]Blink: A short range teleportation technique often employed by the Sorcerer for emergency escape. The Sorcerer jumps in a direction and teleports about 1-5 meters away in the desired position. The only downside is that the teleportation distance is very haphazard and might actually not move you very far. Still, it's a useful means of misdirection especially when you're up against only one enemy. [attr="class","skill"]Orb of Lava: A ranged Fire-element magic that hurls a fist-sized orb of lava onto enemies. This lava ball bounces across enemy targets, dealing damage on impact. Since this skill is Fire-based, this is very effective against enemies weak against fire. One well-known trait of this skill is that it does not affect allies during combat, making it a popular skill among players. [attr="class","skill"]Psychic Conductor: [Tier I Skill] The Sorcerer channels mana toward an inanimate object within 10 meters and lifts it into the air. This object can then be used to bludgeon enemies until it either breaks or the user cancels their grip on the object. Psychic Conductor can lift objects with a maximum weight equal to 10 pounds times the user's level. It cannot be used on objects that are in the possession of another character and slowly drains the user's MP over time. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds from the moment it is canceled. [attr="class","skill"]Barrier Spike: [Tier I Skill] A skill known to be one of the very few defensive options available to a sorcerer. The magician calls upon the powers of earth in order to erect a small wall of spiked stalagmites from the ground. This walls can withstand a moderate amount of physical damage before falling apart. However, the Sorcerer shouldn't count on this as their only defense. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds. Barrier Spikes are considered to be resistant to Earth and Physical attacks and weak to Wind attacks. [attr="class","skill"]Outrage: In times of desperation, the Berserker's physical abilities start to shine. When the Berserker's HP falls below 25%, their damage output increases by 5%. When the Berserker's HP falls below 10%, their damage output increases by 10% instead. [attr="class","skill"]Wrath: Toggle skill. The Berserker's fury cannot be contained. After this skill has been toggled, all Strength or damage debuffs that targets the Berserker are inverted and become buffs instead. All Dexterity debuffs are doubled in effect, however. [attr="class","skill"]Needlework: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly. [attr="class","skill"]Emergency Suture: An experienced tailor will be able to make quick mending to clothes in the fraction of the time, although the material will definitely require a proper repair later on. Still, this skill is especially important when you need to fix up your gear during a battle or when you have an extremely vital fashion malfunction. Additionally, this skill allows a tailor to mend wounds and stop damage over time bleeding effects from skills such as Swashbuckler's Viper Raise. No damage is recovered, however. [attr="class","skill"]Call of Home: A skill learnable by any class. Upon use, it will teleport the character back to the character's 'home city.' This is designated by using the skill while in the city of question. It has a cooldown time of one hour per use. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Shielding Padded Cloth Armour - Lv10 cloth armor. Reforge: [Force Shield] defense potency +2 levels. This Armour set was forged by its wearers hand, its chest piece has reinforced shoulder pieces as well as reinforced segments where on a human their vital organs would be. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Ancient Age Grimoire - Lv5 grimoire. A slightly dusty old book that provides a slightly stronger generic magic attack in the hands of people who are able to decipher the text. Due to its slightly antique value, the People of the Land charge it a little more expensive than a crafted spellbook of similar quality. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Windsor Antiqua Longsword - Lv5 one-handed sword. A sword with a well-balanced blade, allowing for decent ability in slashing and thrusting. It is a mass-produced generic weapon created by the People of the Land, and so is a little more expensive to buy than if one were to normally craft a similar-quality weapon. [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#1: Ragged Cloak with Cowl: Lv2 accessory: Lv1 Ice Resistance, Lv1 Water Resistance, Lv1 Fire Weakness. A Weatherproof Cloak that resembles a rather raggedy blanket turned cloak, along with a hood cover. It's hard to tell whether the worn look of the cloak is intentional or due to the cheap quality of the materials used to make it. [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#2: Cloak of Sparks: Lv10 accessory. The Crafter of this Cloak has attempted to bind their magical potential into this item while creating it, trying to focus the element of lightning into it. The edges on the Cloak and its Hood are stitched with a blue and white thread looking thread to try to show this by colouration and by the stitching being jagged. The Cloak is long and hangs down to the back of the knees it is not any longer as it could risk imposing issues on the user while fighting, It is silk lined for extra comfort. Serpent Bolt's duration increases by 1 second. [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#3: Ember Gloves: Lv10 accessory. These Gloves are made of fabric with a silk lining, The stitched embroidery across them is fiery in nature, there shapes emanate flames mostly on the palm. Enemies' Orb of Lava skill damage is reduced by 2 levels when targeting the wearer. [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#4: Mask of Taranis (Level 10 Basic Accessory): This metal mask is intricately carved with thunder motifs and various other decorative pieces surrounding the eyes. The mask itself is not too large, mostly just large enough to cover the eyes, and sit on the bridge of the nose. For something made of metal it is surprisingly light, though is still made of fairly basic materials. This mask was inspired by the legend of the Celtic god of thunder, Taranis. Nullifies 1% of Electrical damage. [attr="class","h3"]Inventory (DO NOT EDIT THIS SECTION) [attr="class","b2"]Windsor Antiqua Cloth Armor - Lv5 cloth armor. A decently woven garment that allows the best mobility but weakest defense. It is a mass-produced generic armor created by the People of the Land, and so is a little more expensive to buy than if one were to normally craft a similar-quality armor. Apprentice Grimoire - A one-handed apprentice’s book of spells designed for novice mages, made out of cheap materials. Doesn’t particularly have too many pages, but it is better than nothing. If used by a magic class, you get the ability to shoot a basic magic attack with a range of 2 meters. Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. Starter Longsword: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. Silk-Lined Satchel Bag: Lv2 item. A small satchel bag decorated with silk that can store items for quick access without needing to open the inventory menu. It's mostly used by Couriers and individuals who need to grab a quick potion from the heat of battle. It is sturdy enough to do its job, but try not to carry too many heavy items at once. Arguably Soft Blanket: Lv1 item. A blanket that's essential for getting a good night's sleep during the winter months. Despite the crafter's proficiency, the cheap quality of the materials used make it a rather scratchy blanket, despite the item's name. Warm Embroidered Silk Magi Gloves: Lv1 accessory. Reforge: [Cold Resistance Lv1]. Gloves enchanted with runes that resemble the distinct tattoos of a Ritual Race. Binding Made to Fit Underwear: Lv1 accessory. Reforge: [Astral Bind duration +0.25 seconds]. A pair of clean white underwear. They say that there's an underground market for this item alone, but you're better off not finding out more. Fragile Weapon Cord: Lv1 accessory. Reforge: [Disarm debuff -0.25 seconds]. A small bit of fabric that is usually tied to the weapon and the user's wrist to allow a slightly easier chance of retrieving a dropped weapon. Sarum Map Piece 7: A torn piece of an old map. It seems to emit a weak magnetic energy due to the presence of mana within the cloth, magnetizing itself to other map fragments. Maybe if you combine these fragments together, something might happen? Lu Bu's Qianlima - A Novel: A grand tale of a legendary horse of ancient China. Reading it gives you a sense of renewal courage. Its pages no longer hold the glow they once did. Fledgling Enchant Scroll - Rank E enchant. Enchants on any equip. A scroll that can be enchanted onto an existing piece of equipment by using it in the Market Center. The scroll is consumed upon use, adding the prefix enchant "Fledgling" to the equipment's name and applying the following effects: - When under Level 10, increases the user's physical damage by 2 levels. - When under Level 10, increases the user's magic damage by 2 levels. - When under Level 10, increases the user's defense by 2 levels. Stone Enchant Scroll - Rank E enchant. Enchants on armor. A scroll that can be enchanted onto an existing piece of equipment by using it in the Market Center. The scroll is consumed upon use, adding the prefix enchant "Stone" to the equipment's name and applying the following effects: - Barrier Spike is treated as though it were 3 levels higher. - Increases the user's Physical resistance by 1 level. - Lowers the user's Wind resistance by 2 levels. Windsor Antiqua Shield (L5): A generic shield crafted by the people of the land. Black Blade by 黒: Level 20 One-handed Sword. A blade as black as a clouded dark night, designed for easy use in one hand so it is a shorter sword with a skull pommel to the end and a hand guarding hilt. Effect: Level 20 Heal HP equal to 2% damage dealt 5 x Medicinal Formula L20: A basic healing potion that restores about 500 HP. At low levels, this amount is essentially a player's entire amount, but higher level players will require a few in order to heal back to full HP. It has a toxicity rating of 0. After a player drinks potions with a total toxicity rating of 20, any potions taken afterward become halved in effect. Therapeutic Index applied. Medicinal Tablet L20: A healing pill that restores about 750 HP. It is generally considered more convenient than drinking a formula due to the player only needing to swallow or chew the tablet. It has a toxicity rating of 1. After a player drinks potions with a total toxicity rating of 20, any potions taken afterward become halved in effect. Therapeutic Index applied. |
