Crafting Recipe Proposed:
Alchemist's Gloves
Materials Required: 1 Insulating Gloves, 1 Magitech Inductor, 1 Mana Fragment; Optional: Gloves
Posts Required: 1
Other Requirements: Level 21+ Alchemist (to craft, not use)
Very simply, a combination of Insulating Gloves and a Magitech Inductor. This can substitute for the 'Insulating Gloves' tool and is considered a magitech item, with all relevant proficiency required. The benefits of this item are that the Insulating Gloves feed back into the Inductor, allowing for a more efficient and accurate means of sending mana to objects at a distance. Further, by combining these two items together, it's possible to create a safe space for even the most volatile mana fragment variants, preventing their dispersion or corruption. For non-alchemists, the strength of this item is that you can throw mana at distant mana-using objects. Difficulty and efficiency change with distance. Please don't blow up lightbulbs with this. The Inductor is included for all calculations.
Explanation: This was the plot. This was what Scoria was building into with the Inductor before + the gloves. It makes sense because that was what he was plotting all along? A good tool to use that also enhances the Alchemist class to mean something more than 'lol nothing at all'.
Keeping in mind that the Insulating Gloves are really just 'mesh', it's possible to combine them with actual gloves that you've already made. The properties are retained of both things. And since there's a feedback resonance loop type thingy going on, the Inductor is included in calculations. As with the original Inductor, it's a 'remote powering device' that lets you transfer mana through the air. It's more efficient than the original, but not perfect. I tried to summarize the properties of the Inductor and Insulator in the description. Ayup. There you go.
ALSO. ICly, the researched gloves go to @dindeen so throw them in her profile instead of mine kthnx.
