His skin is golden brown giving him a radiant glow that hints at his lineage if the pointed ears didn't do the job already. He has shoulder length blond hair that is tied back by a braid. There is a bit of hair left free that frames his face. Sylric isn't one to be modest, so he tells anyone that will listen how attractive he is. He wouldn't be lying about this point. He has a dashing face with well defined features. His strong jawline and chin, along with his supple lips give him a charming quality. He has inviting brown eyes that make it easy to speak to him, but this could be dangerous for others, because he is a scoundrel at heart. On the left side of his face, there is a tattoo of two long, curved lines that lead from the outside of his eye brow down to his jaw. Sylric is a Assassin who relies on mobility, so he prefers light armor. His armor is influenced by the classic look of light armor in other role playing games. It has a green coloring and is made of mostly leather with many belts incorporated in its design. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Sylric is a fast-talking, cocky son of a gun. He believes that the greatest weapons one could possess are a sharp tongue and sturdy mind, and he is an expert at using them. He is an calm, independent person, as his occupation normally requires one to be alone, but he is just as comfortable in team, especially when they can help him reach his goal faster. He is known for dishing out sarcastic remarks and engaing in trouble. When he is focused on a task, he is almost impossible to deter. Even when there's a challenge, he seems to get more invested in achieving his goal. When the stakes are high, he is at his best. He looks at it as having a strong will, others find it to be stubborness. Sylric isn't snark and charm, he does have his moments where his negative traits shine through. He has a bit of a temper that can be masked by a pleasant smile and a few kind words, but his actions definitely speak for him in situations like this. At times when a smile doesn't work, he has a glare at the ready that would strike fear into the heart of the largest giants, but this is seldom seen. He is also known to be quite arrogant and insensitive at times. Sylric is also hard to trust and get to know. He looks out for himself primarily and makes choices that reflect that, especially when there is gold or treasure involved. However, he does have his moments where he looks out for those he is close with. Mostly, he keeps these things in check. People often mistake Sylric's competence, but he is a seasoned competitor and adventurer. He is just as at home on the battlefield as he is in a tavern. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Maxwell was born to a wealthy family. He didn't have much to complain about other than a few issues here and there, but he simply found most things boring and bothersome. He was a fine student, a fine son, and a fine human being, in general. He read books often because he found them fascinating. He preferred the fantasy genre, because it was so diffent from the mundane trappings of reality. Naturally, he found solice in video games as well. He enjoyed MMORPG games, because there was a sense of community attached to them. He was able to use his charm on a people that were far more interesting than the socialites and debutantes that his family often mingled with. His silver tongue helped him gain the favor of other gamers and made him a bit of a reknowned adventurer, but he had his eyes set on another game. It was none other than Elder Tale. The majority of his friends migrated over to this game, so he decided to do the same. What he didn't expect was that he would end up stuck there. Trapped in the game as Sylric, Maxwell was initially panicked, much like many others, but he came around to being in the game. Now, with a new found sense of curiosity, he is interested in traveling through this unknown place, amassing as much treasure as possible. Users of this technique must be wary though, as anyone struck by the blade can be poisoned, even the users themselves. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Fatal Ambush: (Tier 1) Physical Attack. Assassins are known for their deadly strikes, often being able to slay in a single strike. This technique is the first of the many massive damage attacks the Assassins have under their repertoire. It is a crude version however, a novice skill that serves more as the basis and foundation for future, more poetic, techniques. Requiring a long preparation time, the Assassin must focus onto their target, limiting their perception and leaving them vulnerable to other attacks, as they search for a weak point. Then by focusing all of their strength into one strike, the assassin strikes their target with all of their might into a single point, dealing critical damage. The mental exertion required taxes the mind heavily however, and the technique can only be used sparingly. This skill has an casting time of 5 seconds before it may be used. When it is used, Fatal Ambush has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 60 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Hide Walk: (Tier 1) Self Buff. Even the novice Assassin must be adept at stealth. Known for being able to meld into shadow or disappearing behind cover, Assassins can become invisible to the naked eye for just a moment before dealing a deathly blow. It is not a perfect technique however, as those carefully watching the Assassin can see through their tricks. This skill has an duration of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Toxicity Tolerance:: (Level 1) Pharmacists have developed a certain resistance around drugs. This skill can be toggled to make a pharmacist immune to status debuffs caused by potions. Additionally, they passively recover twice as fast from poison status effects. [attr="class","skill"]Battle Perception: (Level 1) Toggle skill. Battle perception allows the Pathfinder to notice nearby monsters more easily by displaying their names and levels above their heads. It allows the Pathfinder to detect monsters about 3 meters further than a normal character, and is most useful for preventing ambushes. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Leather Armor: A basic set of soft leather armor made from cheap leather. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
