| NOTES; Item to be made: Here
| made by Tarry ♡ LH[/ul][/div]
Stifling a yawn, Hyoka sat at his chair in the station's crafting area, in front of a bench designed for tailors. Grabbing the necessary materials, he set them down in front of him and got to work. He didn't actually know how to sew anything, and picked the Tailor crafting class because he figured he could make his own cloth armor as a summoner instead of relying on someone else. In any case, the system would naturally move his body to craft whatever item he had set himself to make. Similar to muscle memory in real life, how one's body would remember how to do something even if the mind has forgotten. Like learning a sport and not playing after a long time. His set piece to make was a vanity clothing. Getting straight to work, he let his fingers move by themselves, focusing on them so that he could learn how to do it himself later. Maybe he could pick up these skills and use them in the real world, if he ever got back there. That was probably still a far ways off. Wouldn't be surprising if someone had to hit the level 100 mark just to be granted a chance to leave.
Onto the work at hand, Hyoka had decided to start leveling up his crafting class. There wasn't much incentive behind it, but he knew he would have to work on it eventually. Finding the market board to search for a simple request, he eventually found a request for a vanity clothing, so it didn't have to be at a high level. It could be any level, and would make good practice material for a beginner tailor. It was also requested as soon as possible, and since he didn't have any pressing matters, he figured he may as well try it. The specifications for the piece itself were a meet the person sort of thing, so he had to go and find the person who posted the request. Getting hold of them, he listened to the details and took mental notes. When satisfied he had enough information, he came to where he is now. Nothing much else to it. If this was a good enough practice, then he could hopefully improve his level enough to craft something for himself to wear, and maybe some useful vanity clothing instead of always looking like a poor guy in his worn out beginners gear. He had been using it for so long, since all he had to do was summon familiars and let them handle combat for him.
Watching his fingers move, Hyoka blew some hair from his nose. His hair length was probably around nose length and he had a habit of letting it droop over his eyes. His natural contrast of blue eyes and black hair with white skin grabbed the attention of others easily. Maybe he should include a fabric in a vanity clothing for himself which would cover his eyes. Either that, or find someone who can make some colored lenses for glasses. Even a hoodie might be helpful enough. Sitting there, he gave off a rather oppressive feeling to any who looked at him, but his aura of "do not talk to me" was conflicting with his sewing. Sort of how if you saw a delinquent with a mean face working at a sweets shop selling cakes with a smile. Well, maybe eventually he could adjust his attitude. Or if he found some friends since he was still technically alone in this world. He had maybe two or three acquaintances among the Adventurers, and probably around a dozen or so among People of the Land since he had to frequent them for things.
Finished with the cape/mantle like piece of the vanity clothing, Hyoka gave it a look over before hanging it up on the mannequin looking object. It was the simplest looking piece so he went with that to get a feel for it first. Not that he was doing any of the actual work since the system was assisting and doing pretty much the entire thing for him. The next piece to do would be the pants as that was probably more simpler than a shirt. In reality, he had ironed some uniforms before so he knew how difficult it was to do clothing sets. The pants has simple seams on them so the stitching would be easier compared to making a shirt. It reminded him somewhat of engineering since you needed tech drawings in order to make anything. And boy, were some of those tech drawings complicated. He got bored enough one time to look over some complicated sheets, and he still never managed to understand the entire thing. It was like being able to understand the math questions given, but being unable to link them all together to solve the final answer.
Cleaning up the off cut pieces of material, Hyoka wiped down his workbench before continuing. It would be easier to do before each one rather than all at the end when its piled up. It would make working with each individual piece easier as well. Satisfied with his cleaning up, he sat back down and started the next part of the craft. Hopefully he would be done within a few hours. The first part had taken about an hour since he was inexperienced. Surprisingly, the time went quite quickly for him. That usually didn't happen since he was use to observing the passage of time objectively. It was probably midday right now, so in the middle of this piece, he would probably stop to have lunch before continuing. Looking at some of the other craft stations, he felt sad for the blacksmiths. Having to work around that amount of heat, using that much strength. Must be exhausting. Yet here he was, lazing back in a chair while stitching materials together to craft his things. Scribes probably had just as easy a time. Alchemists and brewers probably had a lot of fun with theirs, along with chefs.
