What you would expect from someone playing their fantasy character in a game. Wears mask to hide identity, and for intimidation purposes. She feels the mask goes with the whole "assassin" disposition. Short hairstyle, Bluish/Purple Prefers clothing to ease movement, dark colors, doesn't mind showing skin, practical for her line of work (assassin), usually will throw a cloak over herself to divert attention (especially if wearing something revealing). Usually tries to blend in with crowds or sticks to the shadows when possible. She looks like she would kill you, which is sort of the point. She's an assassin, and she makes a conscious effort to look the part. Intimating and fear tactics are psychological tools she uses in her work. Compared to Mary's actual appearance, her character is a "souped up" version of herself. More toned, better figure, the unattainable standard of beauty pushed by the media realized in a game world. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Can be sarcastic kind of cold/aloof but not in a jerky way understands the expectations and outcomes of every job she takes on Likes to have a system in place Likes familiarity Enjoys Processes her job overly friendly people as they drain her loyal trustworthy straightforward can be judgmental doesn't like not having a plan Merciless due to lack of true death in game world Hates losing Loner Enjoys quiet Likes reading "Whatever it takes to get the job done" Pragmatic Straightforward Hates puzzles Likes hot tea Thinks Japanese culture is interesting Doesn't like to take charge Prefers to work in shadows Bad at drama, but willing to try if necessary Morally grey, but not a bad person Likes daggers, feels like they fit the assassin theme Likes being an assassin, enjoys the role Likes money Doesn't like being poor Feels that others should work for what they want Doesn't like handouts Keeps herself guarded Likes cats as they mind themselves ISTJ ISTJs are often called inspectors. They have a keen sense of right and wrong, especially in their area of interest and/or responsibility. They are noted for devotion to duty. Punctuality is a watchword of the ISTJ. The secretary, clerk, or business(wo)man by whom others set their clocks is likely to be an ISTJ. As do other Introverted Thinkers, ISTJs often give the initial impression of being aloof and perhaps somewhat cold. Effusive expression of emotional warmth is not something that ISTJs do without considerable energy loss. ISTJs are most at home with "just the facts, Ma'am." They seem to perform at highest efficiency when employing a step-by-step approach. Once a new procedure has proven itself (i.e., has been shown "to work,") the ISTJ can be depended upon to carry it through, even at the expense of their own health. ISTJs are easily frustrated by the inconsistencies of others, especially when the second parties don't keep their commitments. But they usually keep their feelings to themselves unless they are asked. And when asked, they don't mince words. Truth wins out over tact. The grim determination of the ISTJ vindicates itself in officiation of sports events, judiciary functions, or an other situation which requires making tough calls and sticking to them. Their SJ orientation draws the ISTJ into the service of established institutions. Home, social clubs, government, schools, the military, churches -- these are the bastions of the SJ. "We've always done it this way" is often reason enough for many ISTJs. Threats to time-honored traditions or established organizations (e.g., a "run" on the bank) are the undoing of SJs, and are to be fought at all costs. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Mary was always kind of a loner. An only child, she grew up keeping to herself mostly. Mary was never really lonely or unsociable, she just enjoyed her alone time. In middle school, she developed early which led to her being popular with boys, though she kept them at a distance as she wanted to be someone popular for her personality/talents and not her body. Mary's aloofness caused her to gain a reputation as being stuck up with the girls in her grade which made having friends difficult. Even so, Mary grew accustomed to being alone, and could usually be found reading by herself in the library, or really anywhere she could find some peace and quiet. After graduating college, Mary got a job as a freelance editor. Mary works from home editing documents emailed to her by the company she is employed under. Mary enjoys her job, as it gives her plenty of time to herself, limits how much she has to interact with people, and pays well. Mary got into games after seeing a commercial for Elder Tale. Figuring it might do her some good to have some human interaction, even if it was in a game, she created the character Azuka. Azuka is Mary's attempt at making a cooler version of herself. Looking over the character classes, Mary felt that she would do best as an assassin. Mary was used to being alone, and a second life spying and stalking others from the shadows seemed like a natural fit. After the Apocalypse, Mary was at first scared, but then came to enjoy the idea of living out her life in a game. Here she could make contacts, and if she wanted to be alone, she could physically disappear. Thankfully, if Mary killed someone in the game, they wouldn't die. This was a great relief to Mary. After all, it's one thing to be an assassin in a game, it's another to actually take a life. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"] Ambidextrous |

One of the basic stealth magics of the Assassin. A signature move of the Assassins, known for being able to hide in plain sight, that allows them to bend light around them and become invisible to the naked eye for an extended period of time, up to ten minutes. Offensive actions, stabbing a target for instance, immediately break the magic used to hide the Assassin. The spell itself can be a bit taxing to the Assassin and can only be used sparingly. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds, lightly draining the user's MP upon use. It has a cooldown of 30 seconds the moment it is canceled. [attr="class","skill"]Death Stinger: Self Buff. Poison, a classic tool of assassins but honor less by nature. By coating their weapons in these foul concoctions, the attacks of an Assassin have a chance to poison their enemies, slowly chipping away at their health overtime. Users of this technique must be wary though, as anyone struck by the blade can be poisoned, even the users themselves. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Fatal Ambush: Physical Attack. Assassins are known for their deadly strikes, often being able to slay in a single strike. This technique is the first of the many massive damage attacks the Assassins have under their repertoire. It is a crude version however, a novice skill that serves more as the basis and foundation for future, more poetic, techniques. Requiring a long preparation time, the Assassin must focus onto their target, limiting their perception and leaving them vulnerable to other attacks, as they search for a weak point. Then by focusing all of their strength into one strike, the assassin strikes their target with all of their might into a single point, dealing critical damage. The mental exertion required taxes the mind heavily however, and the technique can only be used sparingly. This skill has an casting time of 5 seconds before it may be used. When it is used, Fatal Ambush has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 60 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Toxicity Tolerance: Pharmacists have developed a certain resistance around drugs. This skill can be toggled to make a pharmacist immune to status debuffs caused by potions. Additionally, they passively recover twice as fast from poison status effects. [attr="class","skill"]Bounty: Passive skill. After a completed PvP thread, if the Hitman was victorious in battle, they gain an amount of gold equal to the amount that they acquired from their posts. The PvP thread is then locked after this bonus is applied. To apply this bonus, PvP fights cannot be solo threads versus NPCs. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"] Starter Leather Armor:: A basic set of soft leather armor made from cheap leather. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Starter Dagger: A small knife often used as a tool when it isn't used in battle. A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
