He has a high forehead with a curved, angular brow, a short, mostly straight nose, and large almond shaped eyes of hazel -being a light brown with large aqua green star-bursts. Avatar Appearance His Character Avatar shares a similar physical resemblance to him, being of the same height with similar facial structure, however his hair is light blue, his skin is flawless, and being of the Monk class his avatar has an exceedingly more athletic and muscular build. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] First impressions usually leave little doubt that Azure is a nice guy, full of hope and good intentions, but lacking confidence in himself – at least, to some degree.. One may even be able to deduce that he has a dark and troubled past, however he's not one to speak too freely on such things – in fact, being the rational, logical thinker he is, speaking to other people is not his forte, as he tends to over-analyse things and miss social cues. Be it due to environment, or fated in his blood and the stars, Azure has a somewhat contradictory personality and nature somewhat akin to a bi-polar/manic-depressive disorder; he usually has a fairly up-beat attitude, but while he can enjoys company and finds it easy enough to trust and empathise with others, people also make him feel somewhat alienated and drained after extended periods, and as such he often becomes stoically withdrawn, seeking the peace and comfort he finds in solitude. While Azure tends to get easily distracted and lost in thought when not thoroughly stimulated, and often becomes deeply pensive when left idle, he doesn't find it overly taxing to multi-task or keep track of multiple trains of thought, especially when he's interested – this can also be a problem, as he can often run in tangents trying to convey his point. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Born and raised in the industrial city of Newcastle, Australia, for the first half of his life Azure was an only child of a single Mother; with the exception of the death of his Grandmother when he was young, life was mostly good, however at ten years of age the quality of his home life began to rapidly decline. By the age of fifteen his studies had become so disrupted that he was given the ultimatum to leave the school or be expelled; choosing the former, he had little job prospects, and had to make do however need be – his life dissolving into a spiral of occasional crappy short-term casual jobs, welfare, and distribution of certain illicit goods. For the most part, he found his escape from his crap-sack reality in the form of video games, immersing himself in the virtual worlds sometimes for days on end. Introduced to PC gaming at the age of 4 – back when one had to first learn how to navigate DOS – he usually learned how to play most games fairly quickly, and found himself easily enthralled by RPGs in particular. He was often more interested in the game mechanics and back-story than anyone he grew up with was; the pride he took in the proficiency his elevated understanding of the games he played afforded him ultimately resulted in him earning the nick-name F.I.G.J.A.M, though as he moved into online gaming he preferred to go by a less boastful name. In his early twenties Azure eloped with a young woman – the couple settled down far from their old lives and everyone they'd known, and had two children, and for a time things were good. When their marriage began to fail his in-laws offered to mind their children while they sorted out matters between themselves, however it was not long before it was made abundantly clear that her parents had no intention of ever retuning them. Devastated by their loss, the couple went their separate ways, each descending into depression and desperation in their own way. Azure spent the following years trying to find a way to fight for custody of his children, however his in-laws seemingly had the money to tie up the courts indefinitely. In anticipation of the new update and servers for the hit game Elder Tale, Azures' online friends talked him into buying a copy; he'd had a little experience in similar games before, but it was his first time playing the series he took the time to look up the online guides over the weeks before the new English server went live, though all the research in the world could not have fully prepared him for what was to come. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used.
