[attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] When Elizabeth Felspur found out about the game, she was happy to know that she could play an Elf as Elves are her favorite race. Never hesitating to pick an Elf, she adjusted her avatar's height to 5'10”. This effectively made her taller than the human females but just short enough to be in eye contact with males of any race, not that it mattered too much which gender she looked in the eye. Rounding out the eyes and selecting them as green, she started to form this image which would soon be her. Keeping the eyes fully open she added that look of undying energy and playfulness. Elizabeth had also decided to keep the features slim so that she did not appear to be too bulky or chubby. Slim and tall was typically known to be a good combination and looked especially nice on women. Next she did the character's hair. She decided to give her long, flowing blonde hair that shone like the sun. Generally speaking, she'd keep her hairstyle the same no matter what situation she was in. Clothing-wise she mixes her combat wear and casual wear as she liked to wear her battle armor underneath a jacket or something of like image. She always keeps cloth in between her armor and her skin though so that it remains comfortable. Her favorite color is Navy Blue. In public she keeps herself mysterious, energetic and sweet. This is not set in stone as she changes her behavior as needed. She tends to walk very relaxed and enjoys walks as a matter of fact. Once she was done she discovered that she had mixed her real life self with this in game avatar and not just by the matter of race. She kept her hair color and height but changed her eye color. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] The personality of the Elf maiden Gwenduial was the very opposite of introverted. She will always seek out a conversation partner or someone to adventure with even though the class she selected does not require it. She loves to be around others and even to a point where people comfort her just by being around her. Although if she needs to then being a lone wolf is not a problem. Gwenduial learns about the surrounding world by seeing it, hearing it, feeling it, smelling it and tasting it for herself. She could sit outside and watch the animals for hours just to learn about their “social” behavior. Decision making is not her forte and she tends to try to avoid being the one making the large decisions in a group. When she has to make decisions she is biased towards how others feel about the decision and what would be best for the thoughts and feelings of the group before what might be more logical. This Elf is very flexible, and not just physically. She never makes a plan before going it and as one might say “goes with the flow” of events, tending to make decisions on the fly about what to do given a situation. Gwenduial does not view honesty as being the most important factor of life as she often bends it to her command when she needs something from someone. Her strength is definitely in talking whether it be to animals or to people. She often uses her looks and social appeal to get her way even if it calls for making someone fall in love with her. It never tends to be too much a big deal because she does not get attached to people by way of looks. Emotions and the personalities of others touch her the most. If her heart is to be won over, it would be by making yourself look loving and caring. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Elizabeth was neither rich nor poor as her parents both worked jobs with medium wage salaries. Her father was a carpenter whom would often spend extended periods of time in the garage working on that project due next Monday or the work order for some company. Even though he was a busy man he often found time to spend with his only daughter and kept her a happy girl. He played games with her and even got her into playing those older games like World of Warcraft. Animals have always been close to her heart which may have something to do with her mother being a Veterinarian's assistant. She often times would come down to help her mother at work because she loved these poor, helpless creatures with all her soul and very being. When she discovered Elder Tale she knew exactly what she was going to play. Before she selected anything else, she picked out Elf, Assassin, Animal Trainer and Wood crafting. This was one of the easier decisions of her life because it related to her so much that she felt the need to take it. She was just about to get up to show her father her character when suddenly she passed out and was in a strange yet familiar world. It did not take long for her to figure out that she was the character that was just displayed on her screen. While at first she would miss her family, she knew this was going to be a good time for her. For the most part, anyway. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]She is right-handed. With this skill, the Adventurer's natural affinity is idealized into a tangible form. While this toggle skill is active, the character will be able to communicate with animals and monsters. Incoming speech by monsters will appear as subtitles at the bottom of the user's vision. There is a huge variance between being able to notice this effect and actually using it effectively, however. "Nice to meet you" is not the same thing as "Look, fresh meat", for example. At lower levels, the user of this skill will very often mishear monsters' speech and mispronounce their own words, mistakes that might cause hostility if used incorrectly. However, as the user gradually gains experience, they will be able to negotiate with monsters more easily. The Animal Trainer, Fisherman, Druid classes are more aligned with the power of nature and thus higher success rates are gained if the user is one or more of these classes. Monsters at a lower level compared to the user's highest class level also are easier to communicate with. [attr="class","skill"]Death Stinger : Self Buff. Poison, a classic tool of assassins but honor less by nature. By coating their weapons in these foul concoctions, the attacks of an Assassin have a chance to poison their enemies, slowly chipping away at their health overtime. Users of this technique must be wary though, as anyone struck by the blade can be poisoned, even the users themselves. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Quick Draw: A skill focused on delivering a quick strike at the opponent. By gripping the weapon tightly and locking one's gaze toward a nearby foe, the player's body will quickly dash over to the target and perform an attack. Alternately used by ranged users to fire projectiles at a faster than usual pace. This sudden movement takes many unprepared opponents by surprise. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 15 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Timber: Toggle skill. Woodcrafters naturally have an affinity for chopping and carving wood, making their abilities key in harming monsters that happen to be arboreal in nature. Woodcrafters deal 20% more damage to Plant-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Plant-type monsters upon a successful hit. [attr="class","skill"]Scout: The Animal Trainer attempts to recruit a monster to their cause in order to create a temporary partner. This is often done by approaching the monster without startling or aggravating it. If performed successfully, a tamed monster will fight by the Trainer's side for a few minutes before control is lost and the monster returns to the environment. Certain situations might make this duration last longer or shorter; acts of kindness toward the tamed monster will make it stick around for longer, while excessive demand will make the Trainer quickly lose favor with the monster. Only one monster can be tamed at a time at the early levels. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Starter Leather Armor: A basic set of soft leather armor made from cheap leather. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Starter Short bow: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
