In the forest of Windsor Greatwood, Jace walked down it's path to start his mission. Originally, this was supposed to be Damien's job, but after he told him about his lack of knowledge about Elder Tale's gameplay, he decided to go out into the open to train his skills. Thankfully, Damien taught him more about executing his skills and basic attacks just like how he controlled his character with his keyboard and his mouse on his PC before the Catastrophe as well a warning about avoiding high-leveled monsters and after he learned about quickslots from him, he decided to put two of his skills into it as his self-defense in case he can't open his skill menu in time. As for the problem the Landers told him, he knew he couldn't say no to this. It might be very strange that a NPC shop got sold out unless it was the game's mechanic, but he didn't want to repeat this incident or make those rude Adventurers return to vandalize the shop again. But in case he can't do this alone, he already accepted his friend requests from Ryuzaki and the others, which allowed him to use the voice chat in case of emergencies.
But back to the task in hand, Jace looked around the forest for danger as he remembered his mission: To investigate the lack of deliveries to the bookstore he and the others just saved. If there was a problem in the route, he guessed that something's must have attacked or blocked the path. And because of that, he needed to get to that route to investigate that problem. However, Ryuzaki and Damien did mentioned to fight some monsters while he was here. Their warning about high-leveled monsters still worried him and he needed to train his skills as much as he can. Speaking of monsters, Jace stopped his tracks when he saw three boars wandered around the area and checked their names and HP. "Hmmm... "Young Pittered Boar" and they are all Level 1. Although they looked harmless, it might never hurt to analyze them."
His subclass he chose was Scholar and according to his friends, it focused on analyzing the monsters' strengths and weaknesses, which was perfect for him since he tended to analyzed his opponents before battle. And what better skill to try out first than his Scholar skill, "Evaluate". "This is a skill that allows me to enter in additional information about the monster. A helpful skill that I can use more often in the near future." As he "clicked" the skill on his skill menu, another interface popped up near the boars' interface, which told him about their elements, type, and skills. But since they are harmless, they have no skills whatsoever.
"Well, at least it works." He said when he saw the boars left the area, which they looked like they escorted the little boar to safety. "Maybe I should let them be. They got better things to do than fighting me anyway." With that thought, he continued walking to his destination as he thought about the delivery cart's situation ahead.
