Kaos stood just beyond the gate of Londinium, his head spinning and pounding. He waved his hand, pulling up the in-game menu to look at his level. Static shrouded out the information momentarily before settling and revealing the level 1. Wait, what? The update must’ve had a bug, a quick re-log should solve this. He pushed his finger on the log out button and everything turned to static, his head felt fuzzy then he could see clearly again. Seeing no change to his surroundings, he readjusted his glasses and closed his menu. Odd. Very odd, indeed.
Kaos pulled at the starter armor he appeared with and held out his right hand; his Starter Longsword, sheathed in the scabbard materializing in it before he attached it to the small of his back so it was orientated horizontally. If equipment can be changed and equipped with a thought, then perhaps spells and skills work the same way. Kaos walks away from Londimium, towards Windsor Greatwood in order to safely test his theory. Once at a safe distance he draws his sword and points the blade at the ground.
“I summon thee, Spirit of the Land.”
The soil churns and grows, forming into a humanoid shape. A Lesser Soil Golem forms in front of Kaos, measuring only about a meter high and about a third of a meter across. Kaos smirked and readjusted his glasses one more time before re-sheathing his sword. Now to test my hypothesis, I need to find some creatures to battle. He stood with his Golem and looked around for any sign of movement.
Lesser Soil Golem Type: Artificial Life, Golem, Rock Weakness/Resistances: Weak [Earth, Water, Wind], Resist [Physical] Seismic Detection: Passive. Automatically aggros targets by sound and vibrations from movement. Suffers no accuracy debuffs from blind effects.

Sensing no movement, Kaos slowly walked forward, his Golem at his side. This seems far more immersive than my projections, while good I may need to tone it down a bit. He stops dead in his tracks as a breeze blows through the area, the wind caressing his cheek. Wait, there is nothing in place for this. I should not be feeling anything except for what I hold in my hand. He reaches up and makes a motion as if to remove a helmet, but nothing happens. He tries again and again with no results. This... is this real? No... calm down, this couldn't be real. That just... can't happen. It's not logical, but I guess it's not impossible. No, it must be impossible. How can a video game, a mmo, become real?
Suddenly Kaos' Golem turned and faced a nearby bush as it began to rustle before two green slimes ooze out of them. Great... well, let's see how real this is then
Dull Green Slime Level 1 Type: Artificial Life, Amorphous
Dull Green Slime Level 2 Type: Artificial Life, Amorphous
Kaos draws his sword and and readjusts his glasses before a flash crosses across them and his eyes turn green momentarily.
Evaluate! -Type: Artificial Life, Amorphous -Weakness/Resistances: None -Mana Attraction: Passive. Detects targets who use magic-based skills and will approach but not aggro
Interesting... looks like my summoning attracted them but the first move is mine. Kaos' eyes return to normal as the Golem slowly waddles towards the two slimes. Before the golem can reach the slimes, Kaos draws his sword and charges forward. He slashes through the level 1 slime then jumps back. Still at 75% health. The golem reaches the slimes and slams his fist down on the level 1 slime. The golem does less damage than me. Good to know, roughly 60% HP remaining. Wait, I get a 10% bonus to artificial life. Crap, I'll draw more aggro this way. The level 1 slime rolls forward and sends a lance from its body, hitting Kaos for 10% HP loss. The level 2 slime rolls towards Kaos but doesn't attack yet.

That actually hurt... what the hell?! Kaos stood in shock, the sword falling from his hand to the ground. This... this IS real! HOW? Another lance from the slime pierces into his left shoulder, drawing blood and dealing damage equal to 20% of his HP. The golem smashes the slime, removing the spears from Kaos' body and snapping him out of his thoughts. He picks up his sword and slashes the level one slime again. One slime is down to 20% HP, I have 70% HP and 70% MP and one more slime at 100% HP. I have to end this quickly; if this is real then others might be in trouble... Noelle might be in trouble. Kaos readjusts his glasses and holds his left hand towards the golem and shoots a thin blue thread towards him.
"Lend me your strength Golem, share my pain and I will repay you with my mana. Fight along side me and I will do my best to defend you as well."
Scape-doll! A skill that requires either a Slime or Golem to be summoned. At this moment, the Summoner and the Follower's body is connected by a short blue string of mana. All damage taken by the Summoner is split evenly between themselves and the Familiar. This allows the Summoner to gain a decent level of defensive bulk, but the Summoner's naturally low HP means that this skill should not be overestimated. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds. It inflicts a small MP drain on the summoner and can be manually canceled. As soon as it is canceled, this skill goes into cooldown for 10 seconds.
If this world is real, then my familiars are also real. Sentient or not, they deserve to be respected, for they are living creatures Kaos steps forward and stands next to his golem with his sword drawn, ready to attack.

Stepping outside the comfort and safety of Londinium, I walk into the large planes between the city and the Windsor Greatwood. Starting to walk towards the closest monster. I go to a far off noise that seems like a few monsters running around. after walking a bit I notice that the sound in the distance is coming from an adventurer fighting a few slimes. not thinking much of it I continue walking. when suddenly I hear him say something a little bit weird along the lines off “golem give me the strength i need” blah blah blah. confused I look at him and notice a giant stone golem standing next to the silver haired young man, I now clearly see. wondering about what’s going on I go towards him and start seeing a clearer picture of the situation the young man is in trouble fighting two slimes one a level 1 on 20% hp and one a level 2 with full hp. and I again think he’s fine. although after walking a few meters back I realize something, have I found someone I could talk with yet, have I found the friendly face I so desperately need to center myself and when I understand this. my feet start carrying me back to help the young man. I finally get back close enough to asses my strategy i will first attract aggro to myself using samurai’s challenge which has a casting time of 2 seconds and an immediate area range then I will quickly attack the level 2 slime with helm splitter it has a cast time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds then I will immediately use flashwave to temporarily immobilize the level 2 slime it has a cast time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. then quickly I jump towards the two slimes using samurai’s challenge to attract their attention then I target the level 2 slime and charge him with helm splitter I then immobilize it with flashwave and to finish try dodge the other slime’s attack I fail taking 10% hp damage from the level 1 slime. I then review my work and discover a 40% hp difference in the level 2 slime’s hp. After reviewing my work I prepare for my next move once my cooldowns wear off. Tag: KaosWC:402

Kaos takes advantage of the distraction caused by tzuf23 and charges forward; he slashes at the level 1 dull green slime, finishing off the remaining 20% of its HP. He turns to face the remaining slime and the adventurer who came to help. After readjusting his glasses, he sees the name Tzuf23 by the adventurer. A samurai, huh? His timing is impeccable and he is level 1 as well, it would seem. Perhaps this is for the best, a samurai can grab aggro until I can get my golem to deal more damage than I can. Kaos' golem charges forward, beating on the remaining slime; hitting it twice dealing 10% HP damage each time, equaling 20% damage. Just 40% HP remaining. The Samurai and I can finish this quickly. The slime launches a quick retaliation, sending a spear towards the golem and blowing a hole through the center of the golem's torso. The golem falls to one knee and gathers soil back into the hole in its chest, regenerating itself slowly. Kaos looks at the Samurai and smirks. "Thank you for your help, Samurai Tzuf23, shall we finish this then?"

The young man I now see is called Kaos approaches me and says “thank you, now shall we finish it” I agree and charge, jumping into the slime’s range and attacking it using my helm splitter. a few seconds off my flashwave’s cooldown. the slime attacks, dodging to the right I manage to get barely hit and get 10% hp damage. then immediately i use flashwave and retreat to review my work once again. I dealt 30% more damage to the slime leaving it at 30% remaining hp. I jump back a little bit and once again dodge the slime, giving me some breathing room. I notice my cooldowns are off again and charge the slime with my helm splitter. leaving it at 10% I jump back towards the young man and say “the kill’s yours” waiting for his move. Tags: KaosWC:150

Kaos runs forward and slashes at the slime, his blade slicing through it with little resistance. The slime bursts in to small bubles of anima that float towards the sky, gently wafting on the breeze as they ascent. So, the monsters respawn here as well, does that mean we do as well or is death the end? I can't imagine the pain involved with respawning though, its a heavy cost if you can respawn. He re-sheathes his sword before turning to face tzuf23 and begins walking back to him but stops mid-stride and looks at his golem. The poor creature actually looks bored, I don't seem to have a need for it now that the samurai is here. plus I'm down to 50% MP.Kaos walks towards his golem and puts a hand on its shoulder. "Thank you for your help Spirit, go home and rest; I release you." Clumps of soil fall off the golem before it crumbles into a pile that even after settling on the ground begins to disappear. Kaos turns and resumes his approach towards the samurai. What could he be after, helping a random adventurer AND giving them the killing blow. He got some experience out of it sure, but that's not enough of a reward for going out of your way. I doubt monsters are scarce in this world, I found two in my first few minutes here. What are you playing at samurai? He stopped about 3 meters from Tzuf23, and gripped the hilt of his sword, just in case the samurai attacks. "I thank you again for your help Samurai." Kaos readjusts his glasses and stands ready to act.

“Wait wait” I quickly say continuing to speak after a short pause I say “I have not come here wanting anything, especially not to fight. I just wanted to help and maybe be friends with you.” relaxing, he sheaths his sword and responds “Well then let us go fight some more monsters and really thanks for helping me, although I will think about that proposal later” we then begin walking in silence. After a few meters I decide to break the silence and say “Well im sorry you thought I was going to attack you, I would never do something like that please believe me” continuing to walk silence falls again. he then breaks the silence by saying “Well I do believe you although I don’t know if I can trust you just yet. let’s see if we can encounter something though” continuing to walk. I start thinking “will he be my first friend here”. We arrive at what seems to be the start of the forest and start walking west. then suddenly a bright light blinds me and I hear him shout about seeing some monsters. regaining my sight I start looking up. Kaos chose to walk with tzuf23, all the while monitoring him, still wary of any ulterior motive despite not being able to find one. He reaches the edge of the forest with him and looks around seeing two Frenmic Rabbits but having the strange feeling that he was missing something. They seem like they were startled recently, our approach shouldn't have done that. Suddenly Tzuf23 steps on a Level 3 Garden Snake which reaches up and spits poison into his eyes, temporarily blinding him. "Samurai, move back you're standing on a Garden Snake!" Kaos ran forward, pushed tzuf23 back, and drew his sword. "Spirit of the wind, I seek your help!" A magic circle forms on the ground the shrinks as it climbs, finally resting on the hilt of his sword. A small brunette fairy in a blue dress lands on the hilt of Kaos' sword and curtsies respectively as the magic circle disappears. She then floats up in the air as she readies for combat. Three monsters one a Garden snake level 3 and two Frnemic Rabbits level 1 and 2. kaos has already summoned another creature, this time a sylph I do not yet know what it does. but it doesn't matter right now right now. I need to attack, I think to myself. I jump towards the rabbits, and use samurai’s challenge to get their aggro on myself and then jump back and use helm splitter on the snake. then jump forwards towards the rabbits and use flashwave to stun both of them narrowly avoiding the snake’s attack he shots poison at my eyes blinding me for a few valuable seconds. in which the rabbits get out of the paralyzing effect of flashwave, and go towards me both hitting me for a total of 20% hp damage. leaving me at 60% hp. although the garden snake is now on 60% hp aswell. I again jump at the snake using helm splitter and lower him to 40% hp, then quickly use flashwave on the two rabbits. Tags: Kaos WC: 178

Kaos stood by as tzuf23 gahtered the aggro of the two docile Frenmic Rabbits and the Garden Snake. He jumps back to make sure he can see the entire battlefield. As the samurai slammed his sword down onto the snake before turning and releasing a flash at the rabbits; Kaos' glasses flashed as his eye glazed green momentarily, allowing him to evaluate the battlefield. Evaluate!
Frenmic Rabbit Level 1 & 2 Type: Beast Weakness/Resistances: None Skills: None
Garden Snake Level 3 Type: Reptile Weaknesses/Resistances: Resist [Poison] Skills: - Camouflage: Passive. The monster's name and HP bar is hidden unless a character is within 2 meters of the monster. - Poison Attack: Targets who are attacked by this monster have a 25% chance of taking minor damage over time for 10 seconds.Kaos ran forward, dragging his blade along the Garden Snake before turning around and seeing the snake use it's Poison Attack to once again blind tzuf23 and cause him to become poisoned before the two rabbits attack him. His HP is 50% and the Garden Snake's is at 80%. Tzuf23 is now poisoned and the Frenmic Rabbits are untouched. Suddenly a soft breeze blows over the battlefield as the Sylph lies in a circle around the two adventurers. Kaos watches as a pale green glow cover himself and tzuf23, healing 10% of their health and removing the poison debuff on Tzuf23. He stood back, knowing it has been close to twenty seconds and the samurai's skills should be nearly recharged. Tzuf23 jumps forward and attacks the Garden Snake again before sending another flash at the Frenmic Rabbits. After that attack and gracious heal from the Sylph, both the samurai and the Garden Snake have 60% HP and the Rabbits are still untouched. His methods are crude but his plan is sound, assuming he has one. If we remove the enemy that can poison us the two rabbits should be much easier to kill.Kaos readjusted his glasses and ran forward, and slashed at the snake. He luckily scored a critical hit dealing 20% damage before readying for his next move. He noticed the Garden snake coiling up getting ready to strike at Tzuf23. "Spirit of the Wind, stir up the battlefield." The small fairy bowed and giggled as she flew up into the air conjuring a powerful gust of wind the throws the Garden Snake and two Fernmic Rabbits back, all landing 1 meter from their original positions and slightly disorientated.

The feeling was amazing all my worries went away and the only thing left was the happy thoughts of a new book or a new game and the amazing smell of grass after rain. That’s how I would describe the feeling of being healed, no it was the only to describe something so serene and beautiful. Like the dawn when sitting in my grandparents home. For a second I was actually paralyzed, not wanting to move so it wouldn’t go away. But then it did anyways. I already realized who did it before it was gone. It was kaos’s sylph. But my body continued on it’s own running and slashing and fighting. Until I finally came to a stop once again because of the sylph. It had pushed the enemies back and suddenly I could see the snakes shape but not it’s name or condition. A little bit surprised I stop and realize that it is one of it’s abilities the one that caused me not to notice the damned creature in the first place. Going out of my small shock I decide to continue focusing on the snake hoping it would die quickly so his debuff and annoying passive skill wouldn’t continue to interrupt this fight. Noticing my cooldowns are almost off I get into position and start thinking about my move now. “Well” I think to myself “After the snake the higher level rabbit is going to be my target, but im still going to try to paralyze both rabbits” Suddenly I realize that I said that aloud hoping kaos wont notice I start my attack. Once again charging the snake with helm splitter and after hitting it jumping over it to get to the rabbits. Then once I got to them I used my flashwave to stop their move although this time I was too late and they had already gone towards kaos running at them. I almost get to kaos when one of them jumps on him using samurai’s challenge to stop them from attacking him any more I see he looks tired not having enough time to look at his health I try to block them from coming his way. Kaos quickly raised his sword, deflecting the rabbit's attack. The samurai has a decent plan, attack each enemy in decending level order but the battle is dragging on due to the samurai's skil cooldowns. The best plan is to kill this snake, which is at 10% HP. I can kill it with this attack, I can focus my attention on the level 1 rabbit in order to divide and conquer. He ran forward, slamming the tip of his sword through the garden snake's head. A bright flash came from the snake as it's body converted into bubbles and floated away. The Sylph flew in a circle above the battlefield, he wings making a soft fluttering sound as a breeze began rustling the leaves. She flew down passing over Kaos and tzuf23 and waving her tiny wand. The breeze picked up as the green glow covered the two adventurers. Healing tzuf23 for another 10% of his HP, while Kaos' HP was at 100%. "Thank You Spirit of the Wind, watch for any other enemies on approach."

The snake’s dead “good now I need to go after the level 2 rabbit” I think to myself while trying to block the two rabbits. it would be good if I was able to prolong their focus on me for a bit so I can be ready to use my skills again. The sylph was ready to heal once again and more hp is always a blessing. I get ready to use my skills when the level 2 rabbit jumps at me suddenly. I try to block the attack but miss the body part he was going for and get hit by his attack losing another 20% leaving me at about 50% hp. I then quickly attack the rabbit in front of me damaging him for 20% and jump back hoping to dodge any incoming attacks from the two rabbits. I then see my helm splitter is off cooldown and charge the level two rabbit again dealing 30% damage this time and retreating a few steps back. Tags: KaosWC:171

Kaos readied his blade as tzuf23 attacked. The snake is dead, no more need to worry about poison. The two rabbits will be fairly easy to kill and due to their docile nature, should allow me to stay back a bit. He slowly walked back past the samurai and plunged his sword into the ground and knelt on one knee. He picked up some of the dirt and rubbed it on his hands so that he could grip his sword better. He knew it was unsanitary but in this world, it was possible that there weren't any microbes. "Spirit of the wind, I thank you for your help and release you." The sylph flew over and bowed respectfully before flying towards the sky and disappearing in a small blue light. Kaos opened another summoning circle on the ground as he removed his sword from it. "Spirit of the earth, I need your help." He watched as the ground churned as the golem answered his summons. He ran forward, slashing at the level one rabbit, dealing 20% damage to its HP, before jumping back and returning to the still forming golem. He moved behind the golem as it finally finished forming. "Samurai, keep their aggro on you. My golem will help defend me and fight along side you but he is made of soil so I'm trusting you to keep him safe." I shouldn't have summoned him but with the snake gone, the sylph wasn't quite as helpful. My Mana is down to 15%, this is bad... I can only hold out for another minute or two, we have to finish this. He stood behind the fighting line and readjusted his glasses. So far, we've been lucky fighting together without forming a party but moving forward, if he stays with me, we might have to.

I need to keep aggro on myself and let him avoid damage we have also have finish this fast his mp is at 15% and it wont be long before he can’t fight anymore. since he’s a summoner he mostly relies on his summons meaning he’s much weaker without them and is generally not useful. I will start with my samurai’s challenge since aggro is so important right now so I jump between the rabbits and higher my aggro then seeing as the level two rabbit is on full health I charge quickly with my helm splitter and dodge his attack attacking the level one rabbit while doing so damaging the level two rabbit by 40% and the level one rabbit by 20%. Kaos sheathed his sword and smirked as he looked at the new skill pop up at the bottom of his peripheral vision. "Spirit of the Land, finish them off with your Guardian Fist!" The golem roared and ran towards the two rabbits, its right hand starting to become more and more solid as the mana built up in it. The Golem launched itself into the air with suppring grace and as gravity took over, pulling it back down, it swung its right fist with all its might towards the poor rabbits. The fist connected with the face of the rabbit at 40% HP, exploding it into anima bubbles instantly but the golem's momentum kept it moving until its fist connected with the ground. Suddenly a loud thud filled the air, followed by the sound of rock cracking. The mana condenssed in the Golem's fist exploded out, sending rock in all directions and creating a meter wide, half meter deep crater in the ground. The remaining Frenmic Rabbit flew into the air where it was clobbered with a large shard of earth, finishing off its remaining 20% of HP. Kaos stared in amazement at the spectacle the stepped to the right quickly as a shard of earth flew past him. Holy.... S***! That was awesome! He laughed inwardly as he adjusted his glasses and turned to tzuf23. "I think we should head back to town and rest up. We should only be about a minute or two out of the main gate and after that attack I'm down to 5% MP. We should meet by the Town Park, near the Market District. I'll be heading back now, see you there if you still want to head out on an adventure later." Kaos turned and began walking away from the samurai back towards town. He needed to see the town to ensure that this was still a game or if they were in a new reality. He cancelled his summon after walking for about 10 seconds in order to ensure He wouldn't be attacked. That Samurai would be an asset to any party, although he would need a little strategy behind him. Although, with learning this may being our new reality, even if it may be temporary I guess it can be distracting. During his walk back he thought about the battles he just had and how he did receive new skills. The leveling system was still in effect here although he didn't see an experience gauge of any sort. Note: You may post to return to town if you wish but I am Completing this thread as it fits into the Day 1 thread's Timeline.
