Three little pigs, and a big bad wolf. (Solo)

Thump, thump, thump, each foot step brought her closer to my prey. Thump, thump, thump, she was close now looking into the boar’s eyes; she knew that he was looking back at her getting ready to attack. Thump, thump, thump, she felt the sweat run down her back, it was all nerves and anticipation it wasn’t the first time that she played a game and such a low level creature should be easily dispatched, but it was different this time, she didn’t know why but it was. Maybe it was because she couldn’t log out; maybe it was just her going crazy. She gulped her mouth tasted dry and salty, which was strange because most things in this world was so bland. She took a few more steps and the boar turned to face her, its tusks glistening in the sunlight as he snorted and lowered his head its tusks pointed right at her.



“Stupid ugly Boar.” She said reflexively trying to lighten the situation her right hand working its way up to her left shoulder where she gripped the handle of her blade. As she continued to watch the boar it snorted at her. “Yeah I’m not a fan of you either ugly.” She responded, not sure why she was not only talking to an npc, but an npc pig. She pulled at the blade as it slowly slid out gleaming inch by gleaming inch, her hand slowly pulling the blade out of the scabbard doing it so slowly that she hardly seemed to move as not to provoke the boar into taking the first attack, it took what seem a eternity but finally the blade was free of its sheathe. The blade itself was really quite un remarkable, given the choice between it and a lead pipe she might have gone for the led pipe, but it was all she had at the moment, it reminded her of a piece of iron with a handle smashed onto.



The boar was agitated now as it pawed at the ground throwing up its tusks at her as she made her way slowly closer and closer her loosely defined sword or more accurately named iron stick held at the ready in front of her. “Come on piglet.” She muttered as she scooted closer and closer.



Then it happened all at once a cracking noise a snapped twig under her foot such a little sound really but in that moment it sounded like a gunshot, the pig charged lowering its tusks as it blundered toward her, throwing up turf behind it as its hoofs thundered into the ground. “Oh crap…” Yuurei muttered as she rolled out of the way coming back up to her feet her hair flying wildly behind her a few twigs caught in her long white hair. She quickly readied herself as the boar came again her stance the same one you would take if you were playing tennis, with her sword held in front of her legs spread wide giving her a low center of gravity as she waited for the second charge.



The pig didn’t disappoint as it came blundering back at her snorting and squealing as it barreled towards her it’s eyes looked red in that moment as it ran at her it’s tusks like daggers waiting to gore her. Again she readied her sword pulling the handle back to her right hip and as the boar got in range she thrust forward, the sword didn’t so much cut the boar as it hammered it on its head the boar grunted and backed away shaking its head half of it’s health gone. “I got you now!” she said as she advanced on the pig. But the fight seemed to have gone out of the critter as it turned to run squealing as it scampered back into the forest. “Wait you can’t do that!” she shouted after the pig as she took off chasing after the boar.



Yurei couldn’t believe at the speed that the pig was exhibiting as it ran away it took everything she had just to keep up with the damned thing it must have been an Olympic athlete in the pig world or something because this little piggy knew how to run. She chased after the creature for what seemed like hours barely keeping up as she chased after it. Until they finally came to a stopped with the boar cornered between her and two cliff walls, the boar lowered its tusks ready to defend itself, ready for it’s last stand against her. “I got you now!” she said charging forward as she brought her heavy metal stick down on the head of her powerful nemesis bringing the struggle finally to an end. The boar collapsed onto the floor snorting it’s last as it law there it’s eyes marked with Xs as she stood over him. “HAHA! I win! I am the greatest!” she said proudly standing on the head of the boar “I am the best, Your no match for me you silly little piggy!” she shouted. Just than a few people walked by looking at her as if she had gone insane, though she must have looked a mess her clothes where dirty and there was twigs stuck in her hair and all she had to show for all that work was a dead pig which promptly disappeared, causing her to lose her balance and tumble into the dirt striking her forehead on the ground, she sat up rubbing her head where she had hit it as she looked at what was left of her victory over the mighty beast of the forest. All that was left there was a few coins and some random items. She picked them up and put them in her pocket. Before getting back to her feet dusting herself off the best she could.



And so, victorious over the mighty boar the brave samurai returned to the forest to look for further prey, to fall victim to her might iron stick. Little did she know that the little pig had brothers…. Two brothers in fact and something to do with a wolf, But that’s the next part of our story.

Crunch, thud, thud, crunch, crunch thud, her footsteps where loud as she trotted through the forest after her great victory over the boar a happy smile on her face as she stumbled through the forest. But little did our brave Samurai know that the pig had brothers that wanted revenge. The two boars stocked our heroine through the forest, trotting behind her silently stalking our heroine as she crunched and thudded her way through the forest.



She was in a happy mood as she walked her hair flowing in the wind as she made her way closer and closer to town. Her dirty clothes and messy hair didn’t seem to bug her as she made it to the edge of the forest only to come face to face with the two little pigs. She attempted to walk around the two of them first going left. The followed her cutting her off before she could get around them, than when she tried to go right the same thing happened the two pigs followed her cutting her off before she could make her way around them. “Oh come on!” she said stamping her feet in frustration. As she did so the two pigs charged their eyes red as they squealed and grunted throwing up leaves and sticks in their wake a cloud of dust appearing behind them as if it was some cartoon show. Yuurei dived out of their way barely managing to get out of the way of the two pigs.



She pulled out her mighty weapon that she uses to bring justice to her enemies, and raised the mighty iron stick of justice against the boars. They grunted and began to walk in opposite directions one moving to the left and the other to the right. She tried to keep her eyes on both but soon it became impossible instead our heroine backed up against a tree to protect her back. The two boars continued to circle her until all of a sudden one charged when she wasn’t looking. She barely saw movement in the corner of her eye as she saw the boar flying at her. She dove forward avoiding it’s attack only having to scramble away again as the second boar charged as well. “These AI’s are a little too good.” She said as she scrambled back to her feet her sword at the ready. The two pigs began to circle again as they made their way around her again and again they charged at her and each time she barely made it out of the way.



Gasping for breath our heroine knew that she had to do something before it was too late. She couldn’t simply stand there and keep letting them attempt to kill her with no way of retaliating. So when the first boar came at her again she raised her sword above her head and charged back at him, She yelled as she advanced on the boar an incoherent battle cry. As she rushed her foe bringing the sword down on his head as hard as she could. THUMP! SQUEEEL! The boar backed up half of its Hp gone as it squealed angrily a large bump with a band aid appearing on his head.



In that moment of victory our heroine forgot about the other pig a grave mistake. When she remembered she turned to face him but it was too late as he charged into her knocking her over, Taking a chunk of her health with him. “ouch….” She muttered lying on her back after being throw by the bigger of the two pigs. The pig grunted, but she could’ve sworn it was laughing at her as she looked at it. “Shut up, you over grown piece of Bacon.” She said sticking her tongue out, funny enough the boar looked offended at being called Bacon. “You heard me ham boy I’ll serve you with eggs!” She continued her to taunt the boar, at this point the boar was so mad you could see steam coming out of its ears. “Hey if your can roast yourself and save me the trouble that would be great.” She said trying to make the boar come at her, that last one was enough, the boar was angry enough to charge directly at her she had plenty of time to bring her sword up from her right hip up and across the boar cutting it in half.



That leaves only just the one left, She turned to the last dumb boar “Just you and me now porky.” She gave him a toothy grin as she advanced on the boar carefully. Knowing that any second now it’s going to charge at her and sure enough the boar came at her. As it closed in she side stepped and was about to bring her sword down when he kicked her with his hind legs knocking her once again on her ass. It didn’t hurt much but it definitely annoyed her. She swung her sword wildly at the pig from where she sat hitting the pig but with the wrong side of the blade giving the animal another lump on its head leaving it with a quarter of its health. “You dumb pig” she said as she smacked it on its head again leaving it with a tiny bit of hp and knocking the animal out cold. “I heard they were buying live boars in town maybe I’ll drag you back and earn a pretty penny huh?” she asked tying up the pig up by the feed and dragging it towards the town. She couldn’t believe how heavy it was.



“I hope they make you into bacon and hamburgers!” she said as she dragged the pig behind her. She continued to drag the pig towards town but little did she know her ordeal wasn’t over yet her hardest battle was soon to begin. The most dangerous adversary she would face was already on her tail his tail swishing and ears pointing at her as he followed her silently hungry for some piggy.

[Yurei]

The wolf stalked our Yurei through the forest, as she dragged the pig along behind her, and the stupid pig was making it rather easy for the wolf to follow as the piggy went wee, wee, wee as Yurei dragged it towards town. The wolf’s paws where silent on the soft forest floor as it silently stalked them. His tail swished, ears where pointed forward,and his nose twitched as he inhaled as he taking in their scent, as he quietly followed them, waiting for the right moment and opportunity to strike at them. The wolf was a big fellow, with gray in it’s muzzle having seen a fair number of years but still fast and better than that he was wise. He knew the tricks of humans and had knew when to bide it’s time.

He quickly circled around them quickly covering more ground than the human and waited for her approach. This was a good day today he would feast on human and pig a rare treat. As these thoughts passed through the wolf’s head he licked his chops, pulling back his muzzle to reveal it’s long teeth, growling as it positioned itself low in the brush waiting for them.

Crunch, Pull, squeal, “Danmit.” Crunch, pull, squeal, “Fat ass!”. Crunch, Pull, squeal, sit down. Yurei was starting to regret the decision to drag along this stupid boar. “Your heavy.” She panted for breath as she sat on the forest floor. The bad news was she wasn’t sure if she was going to make it back to town before it was dark, the good news? Well at the moment she couldn’t think of any good news. All she could think of was how tired she was from dragging Mr. Bacon along behind her. She sighed as she started to get back up when she heard a twig snap followed by a growl. “You don’t have any more brothers do you?” she asked the big as she scanned the surroundings “There’s only supposed to be 3 little pigs you know.” She said as she saw a flash from the corner of her eye. She dove forward but even that was too slow as her hp took a rather large hit from such a glancing blow. She turned the dive into a roll and turned to face her attacker. It was a wolf, “Well that’s no good.” She muttered to herself as she looked around for a way out. The wolf was looking back at her growling saliva dripping from it’s maul.

Thump thump, thump thump. Her heart was racing she was out classed and she knew it, she had had a hard time with the pigs what was she going to do now that a wolf was here. The wolf attacked again diving at her this time she wasn’t fast enough to get out of the way as the wolf pinned her down and attempted to get to her throat. Yurei manage to get her hand under his chin as she attempted push his extremely sharp teeth, it’s breath was foul it smelled of rotten meat, “Gross.” She managed through gritted teeth as she slugged him in the side of the head. The wolf scampered away whining before bearing it’s teeth at her again. Yurei scrambled back to her feet and pulled her weapon, as she turned to faced the wolf. She wouldn’t be able to out run it, and she wasn’t sure if she could kill it either. She needed a plan.

The old wolf bared it’s teeth at the girl as it made ready for another attack. But before he could the girl turned and began to run away. For some reason he was hesitant to chase but chase he did after all the little piggy was all tied up and when he came back he would still be there. As he chased her she disappeared behind a tree. He followed more cautiously but when he found his way to the tree a branch came swinging back at him.

Yurei had pulled the branch back as she ran and waited there for the wolf when it hit him the wolf tumbled back loosing it’s footing for a second landing on its back as Yurei struck it with her sword. It did less than a quarter of it’s health. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” She said as she backed away from the wolf trying to think of something else she could do some way that she could kill the wolf as it got back snarling to it’s feet. It snapped at her, as she swung her sword smacking him away. Again this time it hardly hurt him at all. She backed away looking for something she could use anything at all in fact. But there was nothing well. Nothing until she fell on her ass into a stream.

The wolf was ready for when she fell in that moment it pounced again jumping onto her and trying to rip her throat out but again Yurei barely caught him grabbing him by the neck the wolf was fast, but it wasn’t strong at least not as strong as she was she pushed the wolf up and then backwards flipping over on top of the wolf, pushing it’s head under water as she held it there. The wolf scratched at her with it’s paws damaging her but it’s health was dropping faster than her own. It had ran out of air, and it was drowning. She held the wolf there so long that the only reason she knew it was dead was when it disappeared and coins and items appeared. She stood up shaking and soaked as she crawled out of the water exhausted and hurt as she headed back towards where she left porky. “You better be worth a whole lot of money Mr. Pig.” She said to porky as she picked up the rope and continued dragging him towards town. By the time they got home it was already mid night and she was too tired to do much else other than find a room leaving mr porkers tied up outside
