| ash to ashes, dust to dust YOUR DECEPTION MY DISGUST, approximately 674 words in this post is for Capsule and SPECTATORS to read. the music inspiring decent muse is " skin to bone " by linkin park. right to left, left to right, night to day, and day to night. as the skylight fades to grey, i'll be watching far away, right to left and left to right. Everything about the moment was perfect. If Mute had to pick an attribute of the act that she enjoyed the most, it was ironically the most simple and purest aspect. The girl who never could have fathomed her actually feeling this way for another human being before absolutely adored holding Capsule in her arms, feeling their warmth seep into each other’s bodies, feeling everything from her breathing to the tender touches she was allotting to the brunette. That wasn’t to say she didn’t enjoy the kissing itself, as the deft, intimate performance of her inscribed tongue implied. Young, rational Mute years ago would have rationalized that a solution hailing from another person’s mouth would be absolutely appalling, but boy was she ever proved wrong. The racy exchange was pleasant, magnified only by the person wrapped cosily in her arms.
She wasn’t sure if it was her ears that were trained to employ as much negligence to other entities as possible or her boisterous heartbeat that drowned out the soundings of the pup’s barks, or if she was just simply too entranced by the moment to be even remotely cognizant of the happenings around her. As fate would have it, however, the pup did something that could not be selectively ignored. While the sensation was underwhelming, the acute prick of tiny paws assuredly hauled the heretic from her beloved stupor. Naturally, if it had been anything but a puppy to interfere in her time spent with Capsule, she likely would have dipped into one of her virulent and bitter moods, and maybe if she was a higher level, woe onto those who chose to interrupt. But at the interference of the cute puppy, her reaction was minimalized to a stout, ”huh?”
It certainly may have been for the best, seeing as her corruption levels were a little too low to assume any exhibitionistic tendencies. She hardly noticed how much her own breathing hastened. Deprivation of oxygen could do that, and since she lost track of time and her awareness became so utterly crude, it was hard to pay attention to her body’s most integral needs. As her lungs sucked in oxygen, her gaze descended upon the pup now wedged between them. She decided she would test her luck, hoping the limited space would decrease her chances of being bitten, and lowered her hand atop its head, petting it and scratching behind an ear. Animals were adorable, after all, not even a witch could resist their charisma.
Mute and Capsule both seemed to share the same idea of a final, conclusive kiss for now, as she leaned in simultaneously to claim and reciprocate the contrastingly gentle gesture. That one made the pink coloration return to her cheeks in full, the softness and feelings channelled within it almost too potent to be contained in its ephemeral existence. She felt adored, and she hoped Capsule could feel how much she adored her in return. Never before had she wanted to stay in someone’s company as much as today.
Surprisingly sated despite the bestial intrusion, Mute kept her gaze fixed on Capsule as the latter seated herself back onto the ground. If the subtle accent wasn’t enough, the foreignness of the initial words spoken definitely confirmed Capsule must have been from Germany. She smiled lightly at the query, and it most likely contributed to the preservation of her recurring blush. Mute may have been homosexual, but she never thought she’d actually end up with someone. After all, before today all humans tended to grind on her nerves like a whet stone would hone a blade, so with dark thoughts like that, she never thought her philosophy would be altered so decisively. ”Sea, níos mó ná aon rud eile. That is, yes, more than anything else.” For there was nothing else in the world or the synthesized world that she wanted more than to be with Capsule. Her own native tongue came to use, being one of the very few left within her country’s populace who could weave such words.

[attr="class","solace"] The desire to punch the sky and cheer was strong, but Capsule fought it -- hard. She was mentally cheering for now, and might scream herself hoarse from a secluded mountaintop later. 'She said yes, she said yes!' Even her face was hurting, though she could not fathom why. In her eager state, Capsule was oblivious to the wide grin stretching across her face. Smiling was not a common occurrence for the Enchanter. It was a sign that she was genuinely happy for once. "Wunderbar!" She was very glad to have a misbehaving pup like Bosco, otherwise she never would have stopped to talk to Mute.
…and then the big question sobered her up. 'What do we do now?' Romance and dating were two subjects Capsule knew very little about, other than what she saw in the media. Her brothers and mother were no help, either; talking to your baby sister about sex and love was weird, and their mother just threw a book on puberty at her when the time came. Most of what Capsule learned thus came from the internet or what she overheard from others. Even nature was a good teacher when it came to reproduction. Courtship? Not so much.
Wait, wasn't this all backwards? The two of them had not even gone on a date yet, but moved onto kissing. Capsule's brows drew together in confusion. Now that she thought about it, she did not know Mute's real name, either. Granted, she did not anyone's actual name in this world, but it was the principal of the matter. It might also be intimate; knowledge of one's true name was powerful, and best shared with only trustworthy confidants. 'To be called Meike after over a year…' She covered her mouth. She would like that, but the time was not right.
When she pulled her hand away, her bottom lip was caught between her teeth. "Um…" Capsule nervously smoothed down invisible wrinkles in her pants. "S-so, I noticed you weren't in a guild." Capsule was obviously smoother than vodka. Her quaking voice could not be any silkier. "My guild isn't very big or well known, but it's better than going at it alone. I mean…" Her hands clenched into fists around the fabric of her cargoes. "I do have personal homes you could possibly stay at if you wanted, but uh…" The redness in Capsule's cheeks had returned. Asking Mute to move in with her? That was a U-haul joke if she ever heard one.
"Uuugh… I just want you to feel safe, and those are good resting spots for when you want to get out of trouble, you know? …Not that I think you're trouble, or anything. Just that ah…" Why was she so nervous? It's not like she was asking Mute to marry her or anything. 'But if we start living together… what if…' Her hand moved towards her mouth again, but not to cover it. Without thinking, Capsule took her thumb between her teeth and bit down on it, hard. Alone time with Mute could easily transition into something she was not prepared for. How would two girls even…
Pain radiated through Capsule's hand. The pressure she was applying to her thumb was negatively effecting her health bar, though the ticks were barely noticeable. 'I only have one bed in each of my homes.' Sure, one of them could sleep on the couch or make a pallet on the floor, but the beds were roomy and comfortable, so why subject herself to discomfort? 'But if we sleep in the same bed.' She was getting dizzy just by thinking about it, and reflexively bit down harder on her thumb. At the same time, she also wanted Mute to help occupy the otherwise empty space. Her tamed beasts and Bosco could only do so much to feel that void. Meanwhile, the miniscule gap in her health bar continued to expand. Mute could not deny the euphoria involved with watching her girlfriend smile so broadly. She found it uncanny, thanks to her upbringing that making another person happy could herald such a positive feeling. Maybe it was because she knew that it wasn’t someone who would exploit or use her, and was actually genuinely happy with the concept of being with her; someone who really felt for her without any sort of ulterior motive. With her spirits lifted and feeling a lot more comfortable now that she didn’t have to surrender too much to anxieties, she decided to scoot a bit closer to Capsule, and rested her head on her shoulder.
If there was one thing she couldn’t get over, it was the fact her modest self could still hardly fathom why someone so beautiful and every way, shape and form would have any interest in her of all people. Surely, there must have been someone out there less awkward than Mute, and much more capable, but yet she had been selected. Curiosity swelled within her as she wondered just what aspects of herself must have existed to generate any sort of appeal, but she decided to put the matter aside in her mind in favour of simply enjoying being close to Capsule.
A little too entranced by her thoughts of Capsule, Mute became less aware of her surroundings. As a result of her once sharp and sophisticated awareness being dulled, she perked up slightly when she heard Capsule’s voice. The initial utterance was what caught her attention, and since then she kept her gaze fixed on her significant other, still utterly enamoured by her. Being mesmerized, however, was a transient thing, as some rational words abruptly snapped the heretic out of her stupor. Oh yeah, guilds!
How she, someone who played prior to being hauled into the very world itself, had forgot about guilds wasn’t much of a mystery. After all, social aversion discouraged her from ever joining things like those, which further bolstered the irony factor when she immediately was hit with a wave of enthusiasm the moment Capsule spoke up and revealed that she possessed a guild. In addition to this, she discovered that she even had personal homes, which would alleviate the heretic’s status as someone without a residence.
It was odd, seeing someone acting so nervous, because it almost emulated the feeling of looking into a mirror. Usually, she was the one to assume such a disposition, yet in this circumstance she felt the need to be the rescuer, especially once she heeded, courtesy of her tendency to pay attention to the most minute of details, the slight depletion of Capsule’s health courtesy of the sheer pressure she must have been applying to her thumb. But what could she do to soothe her, someone who was likely even more inept in the department than her albinistic lover in the first place? Well, she was going to have to learn fast, she didn’t want Capsule to be stressed out.
”Y-you know I’d be delighted to join your guild. It doesn’t matter if it were the biggest in the world or the smallest, as long as it’s something you call yours, I would love to be a part of it and support it.” She lifted her head a little from her dear’s shoulder, to better fixate her gaze onto her eyes. ”Ssshh, relax, I know what you mean…a-and ah, if there was any home that I’d like to take residence in, I-I’d definitely like it to be yours, sweetheart…”
notes: hey, I just met you, and this is CRAZY, but here’s my number, call me maybe?

[attr="class","solace"] The pleasant sensation of Mute's head resting against her shoulder was a welcome distraction. It was another first for Capsule; today was proving to be one full of them. From acquiring a pet polar bear, to sharing her first kiss, it was quite the busy day. It would also go down in her memory as the day she received more affection than she'd ever had in her life. It was currently the happiest moment in her life, and here she was, panicking. There was a pretty girl on her arm -- shouldn't she be celebrating?
The pressure she was applying to her thumb lessened by a fraction as Mute began to speak. Capsule allowed herself to lean slightly into Mute. Her eyes focused on the brunette's hair, and then traveled down to her lips. Capsule, who rarely had a reason to stare at someone's mouth (unless they had a chunk of kale stuck in their teeth), was fascinated with Mute's. It wasn't pouty or in some other sultry form. It was just…
The slight shift of weight on her shoulder alerted her to Mute's movements. 'Scheisse. What was she saying?' Something about the guild, for sure. Nothing bad, because Capsule would have caught it in her nervous state. None of that mattered when she locked eyes with Mute. The gentle words, the little stumble… being referred to as sweetheart.
Capsule thought she was going to die on the spot, but happily. A shock of elation went straight to her heart, tightening around it and almost taking her breath away. Her thumb slipped out of her mouth, angry red lines in the form of tooth marks etched on it. "Wunderbar." There was a dreamy quality to her husky voice. Capsule lowered her head to nestle it against Mute's. "I'd be glad to have you." That was a thing people said, right? She was just going with the flow at this point.
Her thumb found its way back in her mouth, minus the biting. Capsule gently sucked on her wound while she navigated through the system with her other hand. Two requests were sent to Mute: one for friendship, the other for guildhood. The friendship request was important for a multitude of reasons. It made telepathy possible, and allowed them to keep tabs on each other from afar. What would this game be without its excellent stalker function?
"It's going to be nice to have someone else home." She gingerly wiped her thumb on her shirt. "I've been alone longer than I'd like to admit… in game, as well as out." Who better to understand this than Mute? "Granted, I did make some friends here, and I had my brothers when I was younger..." Faces flickered through her mind in rapid succession: Indy, Shira, Adler, Weegee… All gone, except for Shira, and that one was on her. She was the one to leave him high and dry.
She turned so that one leg was firmly pressed into the ground, and her upper body was pointed more towards Mute. "Some people have this way about making you feel all alone in their presence." Being the only girl in a family primarily dominated by men was a lonely existence, even when she was offered to tag along. She could never be one of the boys. "So I'm being sincere when I say that this means a lot to me." Smooth as vodka, Capsule looped an arm around Mute's shoulders. "U-um… you mean a lot to me." She felt silly for being so candid, but it was the truth. "M-mein Schatz..." My darling. [attr="class","foreign"] [attr="class","dust"] [attr="class","gold"]764 words [attr="class","gold"]notes ulla [attr="class","sun"]Alone it takes me underneath it'll surely break me Encumbering her contentment so it didn't ruin her composure outwardly was impossible when she learned that Capsule was receptive to living with her. It would be a different experience for the brunette, because she never shared living quarters with anyone but family before. With the latter, she didn't think of it at all, since she was accustomed to it since birth. But with someone without a blood relation? She could hardly fathom how it would feel, but she couldn't help but feel excited about it. Does she have more than one bed? The pigment of her blush darkened several shades of red at the mere thought of it. She hadn't shared a bed before, not even with family, she wondered what it would be like. Mute felt daunted and enthused at the same time – daunted because she did not want to mess anything up, but excited because she liked the idea of slumbering while being held in Capsule's arms...
This feeling is... It was the epitome of euphoria. It wasn't the fact she was in an intimate situation, it was because she was in such a situation with Capsule. She was glad she waited for so long to experience anything like this, glad that she kept her heart liberated and away from anyone else until she found the person she wanted to surrender it to the most. It was just them, the rustling of the foliage, the subtle soundings of wildlife around them, and the vibrant sky above scantily covered by the sparse canopy. Capsule's voice contrasted her own in a way, husky and strong, making her muscles feel like gelatin whenever she heard it, and her heart to skip a beat. Her own tone was soft, the kind that could be overlooked if not fully heeding it, though the words she was capable of weaving could be surprisingly sharp for such a gentle voice.
Dreamily, she cast her gaze towards the notifications present on her interface. Lifting her hand, deft fingers navigated transiently, tapping the acceptance buttons, one that caused her to be accepted into the guild, and the other that would confirm the friend request. She wondered if there was a favourites tab or something of that nature she could place Capsule into – not that she needed a visual reminder that they were more than just friends by far, but it would be nice for the sentimental purposes. The ability to telepathically communicate was useful in many scenarios, but holding a conversation like that with her significant other appealed to her even more. No matter how distant she was from Capsule, she always would be able to contact her.
To say the least, Mute could understand where Capsule was coming from. This was essentially the first time she made contact with another person in game. Moreover, outside of the game she could hardly understand any sort of social ritual, which made it impossible for her to receive acceptance from peers, coercing her into a reclusive lifestyle. While she was devoid of siblings to really evenly allocate her maltreatment at home, she still could relate. She was pried from her thoughts when Capsule shifted herself more towards her, and Mute in turn did the same, her blush diluted for a moment as she kept her gaze fixed on her better half.
With every word spoken, and every inch she felt the arm loop around her, she felt the temporary dilution of her blush regress, especially when she heard the conclusive words. She was by no means proficient with the language, but the words rung with familiarity and she knew what they meant. Consequentially, her expression almost emitted a mesmerized vibe as she pooled her attention unto Capsule’s eyes. She pulled herself closer, draping an arm around Capsule in turn.
”I-I-ah, nobody’s ever said that to me before…” She was stumbling for appropriate words to say in response, abashed and at a loss. ”I don’t want you to feel like I’m using you as a means to an end, to fill some kind of hole carved into my heart, a stigma like Cain’s mark, caused by my upbringing, no…” Again, she found her hand like combing through Capsule’s soft locks of hair. ”You’re much more than that to me. You’re the person I want to see happy, that I want to make happy, you’re not a simple salve or filling or some other thing to rectify me, no, you are my precious Capsule…” The words were so saccharine and sincere she almost scared herself, but she was confident she was truly ready for this.

[attr="class","solace"] The soft pings of her approved requests to Mute made her heart flutter. Never had such simple actions in an MMORPG made her feel so. The few people she added as friends or guild mates were just that -- friends and mates. There were no underlining feelings of attraction, mutual or otherwise. Mute was different, in that she did not need the girl, her significant other as a mere questing or leveling buddy. She needed non-platonic companionship, and someone to protect wholeheartedly, and not because they could benefit from each other's abilities. She needed Mute.
As if reading her thoughts, the Heretic wrapped an arm around Capsule. Capsule snuggled closer. Her heart beat accelerated at their closeness. Shyness, embarrassment, and contentment was tugging and shoving her in many different directions. Just as quickly as they came, however, those emotions were washed away and replaced with something else as Mute began to speak. Capsule could not identify it, but it was similar to butterflies, mixed with the sort of elation that left you feeling light headed and dizzy. A tightness invaded Capsule's chest, threatening to squeeze the air out of her lungs. With a deep, steady breath, the invisible band wrapped around her chest dissipated.
Gentle fingers were exploring her hair, an act that made Capsule sigh in contentment. Mirroring Mute's movements, Capsule languidly entangled her fingers with the brunette's hair. "So we're agreed, then? We both want the same thing…" Being called precious was incredibly endearing. Capsule was unsure of her previous words were even audible; to her, they sounded like air. Was this how people felt when they were in love?
Up to this point, infatuation was the best she could do. She did not have many crushes, but the few she experienced were mostly based on shallowness. Physical attraction was a big one, but how could you love someone you just met or only observed from afar? Her girl crush on Caerbannog perhaps came closest to love, as the two of them actually knew each other beyond names or hurried glances. Neither had any reason to act on said feelings, so it was technically a moot point. One thing was certain: her feelings for Mute were legit.
"You know, I never did ask what you were doing out here." Unwilling to relinquish her hold on her beloved, Capsule gave a slight nod to the area before them. Normally, people did not stray so far from the safety of the cities and towns unless they were confident they could protect themselves. "It is a low leveled area, but it can still be dangerous to a noo - er, a player of your level." She almost called her girlfriend a noob. A noob! A noob who had a class that most people considered worth shunning you for. Capsule was not so crass to blatantly ask Mute if that was the reason she was out her, alone.
"Would you like to walk a little? I'm still rather saddle sore…" She glanced nervously from Mute to her Crystal Reindeer. The tamed beast had not strayed far from its mistress, and was busying itself by inspecting the grassy area. For a creature that was born and raised in a zone where snow and frigidity reigned year long, this must be quite the experience. "I can teach you a thing or two." She winked. A little productivity wouldn't hurt. [attr="class","foreign"] [attr="class","dust"] [attr="class","gold"]526 words [attr="class","gold"]notes ulla [attr="class","sun"]Alone it takes me underneath it'll surely break me She's perfect. It was the only coherent thought in Mute's mind. Everything else was a blur, as if her heated euphoric mood melted and fused them together to form that single notion. Feeling deft fingers gently explore her hair raised her contentment. God, she was at a loss for words. When it came to what she should think or do, she was stumped. The only compulsion she had at that moment, after having entirely forgotten what she originally set out to do in the thick forest, was to remain entangled with Capsule. The only prowess she felt inclined to raise was the one she could use to Capsule's benefit, like cooking. Elevating that would mean she could prepare better meals for her girlfriend, yes?
Probably like a lot of people who chose the heretic class, there were things she did in the past that she felt she couldn't wash free of her hands. Back when gaming wasn't a reality so immersive she was literally stuck in it, she used to play games of this nature regularly. Upbringing made her into quite the conniving and insidious person, and it wasn't hard to exploit the feelings of others to gain an edge or a few favours that would better herself in the long run. It was to her amazement that now the thought hadn't even crossed her mind, the first time in her life she actually felt like she sincerely wanted to be altruistic and do whatever she could to support another person. The closest one to her.
The sudden query reminded her that she did set out to this area for a purpose. Being rather pragmatic, she had intended to hunt monsters in hopes of heightening her prowess. At the time it seemed like the best idea, because the world could be a cruel place and it was good to be capable of defending herself in it. Additionally, as a gamer, she had a thirst to explore and progress in the content. After all, with a preference to this reality, it wasn't farfetched for her to want to play the game. There were probably a lot of people with qualms to being ensnared in the world with so many questions unanswered, but she would be part of the group who absolutely adored it. Absorbed in thought as she was, she missed Capsule's almost inadvertent statement, but got the gist that the girl rectified something.
”W-well, originally I was going to hunt some monsters. I’m also a cook, so I figured hunting things around this area may score me some ingredients, while also working on my level. Killing two birds with one stone, in a sense.” Ah yes. Verbal coherency restored. It was intriguing, how her state of mind seemed to be reflected by the thickness of her accent at any time – at the moment, it was subtle, as Capsule’s presence was now comforting her. ”I’d love to walk some with you. It’s… been a long time since I’ve actually done something pragmatic.” Abrupt and as profound as lightning, a thought struck her in that moment.
”If we’re going to walk and stuff, m-maybe we could hold hands…”

[attr="class","solace"] Mute's original plan seemed standard enough for any Adventurer just starting out. Those who were intent on remaining low leveled were far and few in between. Having a wider arsenal of spells and abilities was essential, especially for mage classes like them. Capsule's own class made soloing nigh impossible before level thirty. And to hear that Mute was a cook made Capsule doubly happy. Homemade meals were ones she had not had in ages, and ones made with love were entirely absent. "Well, I can definitely help you with the hunting part." Her cooking prowess was enough to get her by in the real world, but could never rival her mother's. Here, there was very little she could actually do, aside from making sauce.
"I think you will have to finish the monsters off, just so you can harness the meat. I mean, they tend to drop some anyway, but Chefs can get more… if that makes sense?" She could have gone further, but realized that it may not even be the girl's first time playing. Capsule had previously played on the original server, which was difficult when you did not speak or read the language. And since no one could carry over their characters, everyone had to start over at level one.
Capsule slightly inclined her head at Mute, feeling warmness revive in her cheeks. "Yes, I would like that very much." To do so, she would have to break their physical contact. With a bit of reluctance, Capsule pulled her arm free from her girlfriend, and awkwardly rose to her feet. A twinge of pain rang from the back of her legs to the small of her back, and continued to torment her as she leaned down. A hand was offered to Mute. "Milady." She wiggled her eyebrows in a playful manner.
At her heels, Bosco softly yapped at the seated Heretic. His attitude was more along the lines of aggressive playfulness. It was obvious that he still did not approve of the witch, but Capsule was confident that he would eventually. It was proven that dogs had the capability to love, after all. To make up for the frost in Bosco's bark, Capsule attempted to radiate warmth with her eyes and smile.
Once she felt the girl's hand in hers, Capsule would gently help Mute up, and only let go to find a comfier handholding grip. With her free hand, Capsule seamlessly accessed her interface to desummon the loitering Crystal Reindeer. Bosco was free to walk and follow on his own; his sudden protectiveness of Capsule would not allow the pup to run off again. Capsule gave Mute's hand a firm, but gentle squeeze. "Ready?" [attr="class","foreign"] [attr="class","dust"] [attr="class","gold"]635 words [attr="class","gold"]notes ulla [attr="class","sun"]Alone it takes me underneath it'll surely break me Negligence from her guardians often forced Mute to make meals for herself. Sometimes it was out of spite, because she didn't want to accept food prepared by those atrocities. Ironically, this, combined with all of the amazing looking meals found in MMORPGs, fuelled her desire to hone her cooking to ultimately replicate the things she saw in video games. In a cruel twist of fate, it seemed that now she would be damned to literally make those same foods she loved inside of the game, rather than outside of it. To her it was a perk, because now she got to essentially live out a fantasy and commit to a class she thought she was going to neglect. After all, she wanted to make the best meals she possibly could for her lover. The first meal -- the pressure was going to be on no doubt. "I am glad to hear that!" Mute couldn’t hide how ecstatic she was about being able to party up with someone she truly cared deeply for. It was a foreign feeling, but a good one.
It was true that Chefs reaped greater rewards if they were the ones to finish off the monsters. The area they were in was great for the purpose, as it had more beast type enemies than it did humanoids, or so she assumed. If she cooked things afterward, it would net her some much-needed experience for her fine dining skills. She knew this already as she did play on the original server, but it was nice to know that there weren't any alterations since she played. "Oh, good. Means that hasn't changed any since I played before. It's good to know what may have been updated and what remained the same, I'm out of the loop when it comes to systems." She was being completely honest. She needed to be ready for anything, and working with outdated information would not be advantageous whatsoever.
To say the least, Mute was glad the desire to hold hands was mutual. It would have been disastrous for her feelings otherwise. She discovered that the moment their bodies were separated from one another, a yearning to close the gap instantly awakened within her. It never happened before, but it was strangely refreshing to know that she felt for someone to that degree. Nonetheless, the happy feeling within her was quickly renewed the moment she saw the hand offered. A moment was taken to scrutinized it, the slender digits and their pallor bearing all the intimate glow as the rest of her partner. A rosy pigment once again was elicited in her cheeks as she reached out and accepted the hand. Aided in returning to her feet, the Scotsman's eyes sparkled a little at the moniker she was abruptly assigned. The warmth inhabiting Capsule's smile shone through the bleakness of Bosco's crushingly judgmental yapping
As Capsule navigated an interface to ultimately desummon her impressive mount, she gauged if it'd be nice to down the road ride on it with her, perhaps stabilizing herself on it by wrapping her arms around the mount's owner and pilot. The firm grasp brought the daydreaming Heretic back to reality, a tinge of surprise present on her features as she was dragged out of her temporary stupor. Posed with the question of whether or not she was ready, and before she responded to that question, she simply leaned in, and kissed Capsule. She did not taste the soft and familiar lips for long, as the kiss she delivered was another one that was affectionate and sentimental, not incorporating tongue so much as to cause it to digress into other emotions and feelings. Something soft -- a good luck charm perhaps? She smiled, surprisingly brightly for someone of her class. "Now I'm ready. Shall we?"

[attr="class","solace"] Capsule was wholly unprepared for the response she was given. She anticipated a shy (and cute) "yes" that would make her stomach light and fluttery with butterflies. Very much still drunk on the newfound relationship, Capsule's mind was filled with fluffy thoughts of romance and courtship. The contact made betwixt them in the form of hand holding was enough to make her knees quiver. They were doing it. They were making it happen. And --
The albino's eyes widened in surprise as Mute leaned in close. For a moment, her heart froze as the other girl pressed her lips against hers. It softly began to beat again as she reciprocated the brief kiss, which was sadly devoid of tongue. That was the point, though, and Capsule could recognize such sentiments. It was the same reason she had offered to help Mute up, like a knight to a young maiden. 'Please don’t let this be puppy love.'
The tip of her tongue snaked out to caress her lips, still warm from Mute's touch. "Y-yes," she faintly heard herself say. She was not sure what she had even agreed to; her mind felt fuzzy, and the portion that managed to remain coherent was focusing on the pleasantly beaming Heretic. "Y-yeah, let's go," She gently tugged on Mute's hand, and almost stepped on the intrusive Bosco. The dog softly whined in frustration, before giving up and trotting after them.
The walk was oddly sobering. Perhaps all she needed was to keep moving and shift her thoughts from fantasies to the task at hand: helping Mute acquire some meat. Capsule knew this area as well as the back of her hand, so tracking down a few Pittered Boars was child's play to her. Killing them would be even easier… which was exactly what she wanted to do personally. The pleasure of dealing the final blow would be Mute's.
Bosco sniffed and yapped at the different animals and mostly docile monsters they passed along the way. Capsule, who was too accustomed to her surroundings to derive much enjoyment from sightseeing, was fretting over whether or not to attempt some small talk. Walking on in silence was fine by her, but what about Mute? Besides, there was much they still did not know about each other, and dating was a chance to find out more… right? "So uh… where are you from?" She immediately regretted asking that. Why not ask A/S/L while she was at it?
Capsule's cheeks reddened as she looked away. A few paces in the distance, two mature Pittered Boars grazed, their young off to the side. Bosco growled softly at the boars, his tail furiously wagging from side to side as he stared them down. Unperturbed, the boars went on with their meal. "I'm from Germany…" Her courage seemed to have given up on her, leaving her voice soft and quavering. It was obvious she was German. Why lead with that, of all things?
"Oh look -- pigs." It was hard to sound casual when you were nervous. Capsule gestured at the boars. "It is best to start off with a status effect, if you have one--" She internally cringed at the instruction. That was the sort of advice you gave to complete nooblets. "I…" Frustrated and on the brink of gesticulating wildly, like a madman, Capsule just equipped her staff with her freehand, and aimed it at one of the adult boars. "Let's make some bacon." It sounded so much cooler in her mind.
