[attr="class","capsol"] Letting out a bit of a sigh, Hiro laid down on a bench in the city. He'd been walking around for quite a while now, looking for places to hang out and practice some music for a little while. But, despite all the people, all the places that he wanted to try things out, see how things would go, were completely full with people. Granted, this was a good thing for an Idol much like himself, but the number of people in these crowded area was so much that even if he did start to sing out, he'd likely only add to the current amounts of noise, which was pretty loud already. As he was walking around, he was looking at different places, ones that he usually wouldn't think of going to, but the only open places were the alleyways, and this plaza that he decided to sit down and relax in for a bit. With all the walking he'd done today, he needed to let his feet rest. Far too much walking around aimlessly for one day, despite having multiple ways of travel by this point. But, atop one of those methods, he wouldn't be able to see things quite as well, and might have missed all the spots that were open and could've worked.
He sat back up on the bench, leaning back on the back of it. He looked up to the sky, noticing the sun was still fairly high up in the sky, and checked his interface for a clock real quick. It was just a bit past lunch, but lord knows the Monk wasn't hungry yet. He had grabbed a bite to eat while he was looking around earlier, and he was still full from then. For the moment, things were peaceful in this little plaza, since everybody else was off having lunch. That didn't mean that the sound from all the others was gone, but more muffled and distant than it was before. There wasn't that much distance between Hiro and a large area for food to be bought. Something like a food court, like one would find in a shopping mall or a strip mall of sorts. As such, there was a shopping district just nearby, where lots of players and Landers had set up their own stalls, where people could come up and buy things. Actually, it was in that little section where he had done some advertising as Idol, where he was happened upon by the Violent Loli herself, Youka. Not a day he remembered fondly, but a day he remembered, for sure.
Come to think of it, though, he looked a bit down the way from where he sat, seeing a small Japanese-style Ramen Shop that he'd eaten at before. He remembered running into Shizu there, just after she had changed her appearance to that of a young child. Turning to face up to the sky again, he realized just how many Assassins he had run into over the past little while. Those two, and maybe one or two more since then. He remembered that Kumori was also one, and that one Saber guy from a long time ago. Lots of Assassins. Maybe it was a fairly popular class. He shrugged it off, though, and decided to just go ahead and relax a bit more. His legs didn't hurt quite as much at this point, though, which was lovely for him. Hiro folded his arms behind his head, as his body loosened up on the bench. Finding himself in a stable place in his mind, he began to whistle softly, a tune that he had heard a long time ago. While normally, one wouldn't be whistling a song that was played on the piano, he just thought about it while he relaxed. His foster mother, back in the real world, would have his older sister play this song from time to time, while she was bird watching. It was a lovely piece, when it was just a piano playing it. He smiled a bit, letting the song carry him throughout his memories.

Despite the amount of time Sayha had been in Londinium, the amount of people that could congest a small area still surprised her. She, having lost track of time, had been in the shopping district much longer than she had planned. Despite being a lower level, she wanted to estimate how much gold it would cost to upgrade her current equipment and weapons. Unfortunately, she did not have the gold at the time to buy them in advance, and it looked like it was going to be a decent sum of gold for decent gear.
By the time she realized this, the shopping district had become absolutely packed full of people, both Adventurers and Landers, and she began to feel like she was suffocating. No, she wasn’t claustrophobic, which she was thankful for, but she didn’t like the fact that there were people upon people and no one seemed to notice.
After pushing and shoving through the crowd for a few minutes, she finally made it to an open area where she was able to catch her breath. After catching her breath, she quickly thought of her home where she shopped primarily online just to avoid people. It wasn’t that she wasn’t a people person, although she knew others would disagree, but it was the fact that people didn’t seem to care for her attitude. She thought back to a (very) short period of time where she tried to be less openly honest; it was back when his father had just re-married. Out of courtesy, her father asked her to be nice. Sayha had tried but ended up failing miserably because she hated the way it made her feel - like she was wearing a mask.
Her attitude remained the same even after the Catastrophe that brought her and thousands of other players to the Elder Tales’ world. She had met a few Adventurers around Londinium, but all of them seemed to back off after they heard the way she spoke. Which meant finding someone who was willing to Party with her to help her level was hard. At the moment, Sayha thought that leveling her subclass of <Tracker> would be useful since it would allow her to do sneak attacks even though she didn’t have the hiding Assassin skills.
However, Sayha had no chance of leveling anything on a near-empty stomach so she made her way over to where the food stalls were, which were less crowded than the shopping area thankfully. She decided she wanted something simple, and a Ramen Shop caught her eye. She ordered a bowl and ate it in silence. When she was done, she left the stall to hear a song being whistled, and it wasn’t one of the default songs that was in the game.
Sayha looked around to see a guy leaning back on a bench whistling it. He seemed to be relaxed despite the atmosphere, which was a slight surprise to her. She listened to the song more. It sounded familiar, but she couldn't quite think of the name of the song.
When the guy was done whistling, Sayha walked over to him. “What song was that?” she asked.

[attr="class","capsol"] Hiro let the song ring out, as if nobody were listening at all. Whistling it brought about fond memories from back in the day, when he was just a young kid, and got to listen to an old song that his sister used to play on the piano. This brought about a few more memories, some less savory than that. He remembered having been told why he was in England, and not Japan. Instead of being where he was actually born, to his parents whom he was borne to, and why. Bad memory, one which he didn't much care for, to be honest. But, he pushed it aside, while the song filled his mind with much sweeter memories. As the song came to a close, he let out a satisfied breath, and relaxed further into the bench. But, this was cut off a bit by a voice from nearby him. Turning to face the source, he saw a woman standing there, asking him about the song that he was just whistling. He didn't really know the name of it, but he knew the name by which his mother called it. That was the closest thing that he had to a name of it, but he probably shouldn't just call it that, right off the bat.
Hiro turned back up to the sky, answering the girl's question. "I don't really know what to call it, actually." He admitted. "All I know is that my mother used to have my sister play that on the piano whenever she watched birds that flew by. She called it the Bluebird Song." He smiled and chuckled a bit. "If it has any other name, I don't know what it is, so I'm sorry." His gaze returned to the girl for just a moment, offering her a soft smile. He returned his eyes to the sky once again, as he found himself being fairly lost in the blue color and the clouds up above. Despite all the people being around that day, and all the noise that was being made just a little ways away, he loved to just relax and find himself in a quiet place whenever he could, and stare up at the sky. Though, it struck him that this other person might be just getting away from other people, too. Then why come up to him and ask him about what he was whistling? Did it perhaps interest her? Or maybe she had heard it before? If he could ever find some way of trying to know the true name of that song, now might be the only time. He sat back up straight, turning to the girl again.
"So," He began. "Do you know that song at all?" Even though she had asked him what the song is called, she might know something else that he doesn't. But, he realized that he was being rather rude, without even offering his own name. Letting out a little note of his rudeness, he snickered for a moment. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be so rude." Hiro began, a wry smile on his face still. Finding out the name of that song would come in due time, but nothing would happen unless he properly introduced himself to the girl. "Name's Hiro. I'm a bored-ass Monk sitting on a bench." He tried to make a joke out of his current status, which was more than plain to see for right now, but continued. "How about you?" His face formed into more of a soft smile to the girl, as he asked her that question. Hopefully, he'd get a name and a class, though he had his suspicions on her class already. Given that she was mostly in darker clothing, he assumed that she wasn't a tank. That much was more than obvious to tell, sure, but either way, it wasn't nice to judge someone without knowing them. He wouldn't ask her class without knowing it, because if he was wrong, then that would only make things a bit worse. Silently, though, he waited for her response, trying to emit a friendly aura as best as he could.

They guy turned to her, noticing her briefly before looking back up at the sky. “I don't really know what to call it, actually,” he responded, “All I know is that my mother used to have my sister play that on the piano whenever she watched birds that flew by. She called it the Bluebird Song.” He chucked, giving off a short smile, “If it has any other name, I don't know what it is, so I'm sorry.” He seemed to be lost in his own thoughts for a brief moment before he continued to speak, “So, Do you know that song at all?” He snickered after asking that, which slightly confused Sayha until he spoke again. “I'm sorry, I shouldn't be so rude. Name's Hiro. I'm a bored-ass Monk sitting on a bench. How about you?”
Despite the fact that he almost acted like he kept forgetting she was there, he made Sayha curious. First, he answered the question, then he asked if she knew the song, then proceeded to apologize for being rude and introduced himself. She found his attitude somewhere between refreshing and entertaining, especially compared to many of the other adventurers she met. Perhaps she found someone who she might actually get along with.
“I don’t think you’re being rude at all,” Sayha smirked. “It’s nice to meet you, Hiro, the bored-ass Monk on the bench. I’m Sayha, the under-leveled dual-wielding Assassin who can’t seem to find a party.” She paused for a moment, thinking about the song he had whistled. The word Bluebird did ring a bell and eventually brought her to what she believed the name of the song was, though it had been a long time since she had heard it. “I think the name of the song is ‘Bluebird Story’ so the name your mother told you was pretty close. It’s also an instrumental song if I’m remembering correctly.”
Instrumental songs were nice, but not Sayha’s favorite. However, she deeply missed her music that she played constantly on her computer. Hearing one, even if it wasn’t her particular type, made her revisit her past slightly. Also, the way Hiro talked about his mother and sister made Sayha think that he was probably least closer to his family that she was to hers, and that brought up bitter memories about her witch of a step-mother for her. Internally, she shook her head, pushing back the negative memories. She had no desire to revisit them at that particular moment in time.
“Is there a reason you’re hiding in town on a bench? Are you waiting for someone?” she realized she was slightly cocking her head, which she always did subconsciously for whatever reason, “If you’re not, do you mind if I join you? I’m waiting for the crowd in the shopping area to die down a bit before I go looking again.”

[attr="class","capsol"] In his mind, Hiro sighed for just a second. Another Assassin. Granted, he had nothing against Assassins to begin with, since they were a fairly powerful class, but the number that he had been meting lately had increased dramatically. All that aside, though, she said something about the song he was singing. Bluebird Story? Maybe Hiro had just been hearing his mother wrong, for all those years. Maybe she was actually saying the name, but he might have been just too young for him to remember it quite well. Assuming that that was the real name of the song, yes, but he was willing to give Sayha the benefit of the doubt. She seemed nice enough, as it was, and definitely unlike all the other Assassins he had met. Then again, it was just that: He had just met her. He didn't know much of anything about this girl, so it was still far too early to say much of anything about her personality. For all he knows, she could follow up in the Violent Loli's footsteps and then punch him square in the nuts. He mentally cringed at that, since that was a moment that he very much didn't want to relive. Even in memory.
His attention returned to the girl once again, as she had asked him what he was doing, and then if she could join him. "Oh, absolutely." Hiro said, scooting over a bit to the side to allow her to sit down. "By all means." Setting himself in a relaxed position, raising one leg up on top of the other, he thought about what he was doing today, before explaining to the girl. "I'm not waiting for anybody, more just taking a little break from walking around. I was hoping to find a place where I could practice some singing, where I just wanted to see if I could get a bit of feedback from people, just to see how I was doing." That probably didn't make a lot of sense, so he went to explain further. "My subclass is Idol, and I've been using it both in and out of combat, since I just kind of enjoy singing. It's also nice to have a few Bard abilities, just for my own sake, as a result." He looked over toward the food district, where tons of people were still hanging out and eating, talking, mingling, all that jazz. Then, over to the shopping district, where there were still just a large number of people. Seeing as Sayha had mentioned that she was waiting for the number of people to die down, he could understand why just by looking.
Though, it was quite rare for Hiro to even meet anybody while walking around, or even just sitting down. Since Sayha had already explained that she was waiting for the people to die down, he probably couldn't just ask what she was doing. She had already explained. Though, she wasn't a high level at all, so maybe she was just browsing for the sake of browsing? Might be worth asking. "So, you said you were out here for some shopping. Anything in particular you were looking for?" Hiro turned to the girl, his question addressed to her specifically. If she needed help looking for something, perhaps he could offer to give her a hand. He did have the ins and outs of who was good and who was bad in this area, since he did a fair deal of advertising for this place a while back. Business practices don't change overnight, either, so he could potentially be a reliable source of info. Then again, if she was looking for things like bras and panties, Hiro didn't know just about anything about them, except that they were fairly expensive. So, along that front, maybe not so much. Anything else, though, he could try to help. But, this all boiled down to if the girl even wanted help, to begin with. For now, though, before extending an invitation to help, he'd wait for her to respond. Hiro had basically given up on trying to get some singing practice in at all today, so he might as well do something useful and helpful.

Sayha nodded a thanks as Hiro scooted over on the bench to allow her to sit. After she sat down and got comfortable enough, she listened to what Hiro was doing. Then, he asked if she was looking for anything in particular, referring to her earlier comment of waiting for the shopping area to calm down.
“Monk Idol, that’s an odd combination,” Sayha commented, “but since you like singing, I guess it works though you could have gone Bard and have a similar effect.” Monks were a Warrior-class so they were like tanks except they didn’t use shields and they were best at hand-to-hand combat. Bards, on the other hand, were a Weapon-class like Assassins were. Instead of focusing on damage, though, they were a support class using their various ballads and songs to either help their party members or to hinder the opponents.
Sayha thought back to her morning, looking around at all the stalls and shops. “I was looking at higher-leveled gear and weapons earlier,” Sayha explained, “I was trying to figure out a good estimate of how much money I will need to get decent gear once I reach a higher level, but I think I have a good idea. Unfortunately, I thought I would have been a higher level by now so it’s slightly deflating.”
Sayha recalled her own subclass of Tracker. Tracker allowed her to move around undetected as long as she didn’t do anything stupid. In theory, it would allow her to sneak up on enemies and then burst them down quickly with her Assassin skills. Unfortunately, she had not found a good way to level it.
“I’m planning on looking at maybe some level-appropriate gear to see if it’s worth the gold. After, I’m planning on trying to find a party to maybe level up my main class some more, but I would love to find a party to help me level my subclass, Tracker. I was thinking that if I could get Tracker leveled, it may give me an advantage for when I level normally. However, I haven’t been able to find… many people to level or quest with. Let’s just say after they talk to me, they usually want to get as far away from me as possible. To be completely honest, this is the longest conversation I’ve had with anyone since I was… fifteen or sixteen maybe.”
Sayha sighed when she thought back. Those were better days, not the best but not the worst either. Then again, she almost considered the Catastrophe her best day because it got her away from her step-mother. Back then, she was still in America, going to martial arts classes and working on her own to graduate early from high school. Her father also paid attention to her more back then, understanding her on a level that no one else seemed to. The move to England changed that though. She became totally disconnected to everyone she met, and she was lost, alone, in a new place with no one to talk to. However, that situation seemed to be mirrored with the way things were for her at that moment.

[attr="class","capsol"] Sayha was right, in that the Monk/Idol duo was a fairly strange composition. Hell, if she knew that he was a Monk/Idol/Mechanic, that would likely raise up a few more eyebrows as a result. So, perhaps an item that he'd keep to himself. Either way, though, he listened to the girl explain things as she had gone about her day. Searching for equipment was definitely a good reason to be out and about, especially if she was looking for upgrades. Given the fact that she stated that she was a lower-leveled character, she could probably get some good deals in this day and age. However, she mentioned that she was looking more for some level-appropriate gear for the time being, since she wasn't able to form parties much, going as far to actually say that others have tried to get as far away from her as they could. While he hadn't seen something that would bring him to reach a similar conclusion, he did keep that fact in the back of his mind. Perhaps something to keep a look out for, for his own knowledge. He wasn't going to let it dictate how he interacted with this person, though, until he himself saw the trait that others may have seen.
It was at this moment that she admitted to this conversation being perhaps the longest one she's had for a given amount of time. Hiro knew neither her age, nor her other conversations with other people, though he figured that it was a considerable amount of time. Even still, though, he laughed a little bit. Not in a mocking fashion, of course. More that irony would have found her lucky today. "Well, I can say that you've come to a good place, Sayha." Hiro spoke, leaning back into the seat a bit more. He pointed a thumb up to himself. "I've always been kind of a talkative person, whether most want me to be or not, so be prepared to talk for a while, if you hang around much longer." He returned his thumb back with the rest of his fingers, as he continued. "I'm glad to see that you're smart enough to work on multiple classes, instead of just one thing at all times, though." He turned ahead a bit, thinking for a second. "I knew a guy who claimed that his class combination was the best in the world for various reasons, though he only worked on one thing, and one thing only." Smiling at the thought, he chuckled. "Dude couldn't kill a slime without help, even if he tried." He was joking of course, but still.
His mind clicked back to when Sayha had mentioned her subclass. Assassin/Tracker seemed to go so perfectly hand in hand, that most of the Assassins Hiro had ever seen were that combination. "You've got yourself a good setup with the classes yourself, since both work fairly well, hand in hand." Hiro thought back to what she had said about his class combo as well, and thought he might as well explain that a bit. "As for me, Monk/Idol has some aggro generation and distraction benefits, as much as it does party benefits. A few of Idol's skills help me control where aggro goes, and can also keep enemies distracted. A few of the later skills work out well enough, to where I can bring back a single target even from death, just by talking to them briefly." He turned to face the girl, a soft smile on his face. "You can clearly see the utility in that, I'm sure. While the Bard/Idol combo works out much better, I find Idol's uses with Monk being enjoyable, as much as it is I enjoy it myself." Hiro looked back up to the sky, losing himself in thought for just a few moments. Being able to bring somebody back from the dead with that skill... Would it work on Landers, too? Perhaps something he'd have to try and find out himself. He finished his thought, before another crossed his mind.
He was curious as to why this girl was unable to form parties, though that wasn't his place to ask about such things. Instead, his mind flicked back to his little adventure with Shizu, playing Hide and Seek of sorts. Maybe he'd offer the same thing to this girl? "So, you wanted to work on Tracker, right?" Shizu was also an Assassin/Tracker, so it might just work out. There's a lot of people in the city, sure, but a song can still ring out quite loud. He brought his gaze down from the sky, and directed it at the girl once more. "I have a friend who is also the same classes as you, and we went to work on her Tracker skill by playing something akin to Hide and Seek in the forest nearby. If you'd like to, perhaps, here in the city, we could try and do the same thing?" He felt that he should put some kind of a disclaimer on there, in case she didn't want to. "I mean, I know we just met, and all that, but I feel like it could help us both out a bit. Plus, it'd be kinda fun, running around the city." Hiro let a smile return to his face. "Of course, if you don't want to, I have no problem hangin' out here and just talking for a while. It's nice to meet new people, and even nicer to talk with them for a while." He shrugged, hopefully letting the thought sink in. "So, I'll leave it up to you, if you wanted to do something like that. I can only promise that it'll be fun, and it'll help you learn the class a bit more." He fell silent, waiting for Sayha's eventual response to his proposal.

Sayha couldn’t help but smile at his remark about him being talkative. She would be the first to admit that talking wasn’t her thing, but she had no problem listening, as long as it wasn’t a bunch of gibberish or a topic she didn’t care for. The world she was in now? She had no problem listening. Sayha let herself relax, leaning back on the bench slightly, letting her hands rest beside her on the bench. Sayha did scoff at his joke, “I highly doubt that’s true. I don’t think I’ve played a game where I’ve seen a slime higher than level 15. Of course, I could be mistaken since I don’t know this game as well, but it seems highly improbable.”
She then listened to Hiro’s explanation of why he chose Idol for his subclass. “That makes sense now that you’ve explained it. Personally, I still would have gone for another subclass combination, but if you’ve found a good way to combo it, then the power to you. I chose my combination because I read a lot of guides that said that it was probably the top combination for Assassin. Though I did almost go Swashbucker as my main class instead of Assasssin now that I’m thinking about it… but that’s another story altogether.”
After a pause, Hiro gave her an interesting proposition. A version of hide and seek with him to work on her Tracking. “That sounds… interesting,” Sayha thought aloud, “You’re right that we haven’t known each other long, but then again most parties start out that way.” She studied Hiro. He seemed to be sincere enough, and she didn’t pick up on any vibes that said differently. “I am interested in your proposal, but I’m slightly surprised you haven’t asked why no one likes to party with me. If you want to know, I don’t mind telling you; you deserve to know if you’re really willing to party with me. However, a lot of people I’ve met don’t share that feeling. If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask. Of course if you do, then I reserve the right to ask you the reverse question.”
It was something Sayha learned early on when she began playing MMOs. If you’re going to game with someone, you should know who you’re gaming with. She ended up in a lot of parties where the people were out-right rude and had various other things on their minds than just the game. She then came up with her own personal rule to ask questions to any party she joined, especially if it was for an extended time. Of course, she didn’t always do that; however when she didn’t follow her rule, she usually ended up in awkward circumstances or circumstances where she’d say what she thought, which was normal, and she ended up getting kicked. It was never personal, but people chose to take it that way.

[attr="class","capsol"] Hiro was delighted to hear that Sayha was willing to give his Hide and Seek thing a try. He was a little nervous about it, though, since the one and only time he had done something like that before was while he was in the forest, so he didn't really know how well it would work in a city. The echoing sounds would likely be different, or disturbed by the people all around them. Sure, it would cause a few heads to turn, but hey, it would be fun! Hiro was more than used to being the center of attention by this point, as he had been a tank for a long time in this game. Leading the party, holding aggro, all that good stuff. The Idol subclass really did help him out with that whenever he needed it, so he was very glad that he had it. What Sayha said about most parties starting off as rather strangers was also quite true, given that most of the people here in this game he had met while here, and he didn't know beforehand. It was nice to make some new friends along the way, while trying to get further along in this world. As much as he wanted to reminisce about the old days, he snapped back to reality.
Hiro shrugged a bit, responding to Sayha's statement about why he wasn't asking her. "It's not really any of my business, y'know?" Hiro began, his voice calm. "I prefer to get to know people for myself than ask why someone isn't liked for whatever reason. I'd rather not be biased when making a new friend, or forming a new party." He looked ahead of himself, shifting his sitting position a bit. "Everybody new you meet is a brand new person, a brand new journey. And, in order to fully enjoy that new person, I believe you've just gotta take it all like you would a journey: One step at a time." He returned his gaze to the girl, giving a rather defeated look. "Aside from that being a rather cheesy line, I genuinely mean that." Hiro's face returned to one with resolve. "I like meeting new people, and I prefer to give everybody the shot they deserve. Besides, everybody knows that first impressions are everything!" Finishing his little speech as to why he wasn't going to ask this girl about her past, he turned on the bench a bit more, thinking about taking up the girl on her offer for asking questions. Not really to ask her things, but more flip it around.
"So, you've offered to answer questions I ask, and have me answer them as well, just so we can kinda get to know one another better." His smile was still on his face, though it brightened up a bit. "I suck at asking questions, so what if I asked you the same thing in reverse? If there's anything you'd like to know about me, this world, or even what the whole Hide and Seek thing's about and how it works, feel free to ask." He sprung up from the seat, and got into an advertiser's tone of voice. "And, if you ask now, I may even direct you to some great stores where you can find high-quality items and equipment, all for the low, low cost of free!" Hiro threw his hands up in the air as he said that last word. Hopefully, she would appreciate the joking behavior he was in, and maybe even laugh a little bit. As he had said, first impressions are everything, so he wanted to strike in this girl's mind that he's a fairly nice person, willing to have others laugh. He really enjoyed meeting new people, especially for those special moments where the other person has a 'what is wrong with this guy' look with a giant smile on their faces, and then burst out into laughter. Sitting back down on the bench, he cleared his throat. "I mean, if you'd like that offer, of course." He could probably offer her some more useful information, while also getting to know this girl. He felt that such things were just fun. Despite being excited for what was to come, he waited calmly for her response.

Sayha listened to Hiro’s reason why he didn’t ask, and she couldn’t help but smile. It definitely was not something she usually heard. Most people actually took her up on her offer. Those who did were either sorely disappointed or ended up getting mad at her later on down the road. Hiro giving her the benefit of the doubt, in a weird way, meant a lot to her. Now, she wasn’t vain to think he was only acting like this for her; she guessed this was how he was around everyone else, especially with his comments about him liking to make friends. The one thing she couldn’t wrap her head around though was that he wouldn’t judge her based on other people’s thoughts.
When he asked the reverse question that she had asked, it was definitely unexpected. At that point, though, she figured the best thing to do was to expect the unexpected, in a good way for once. She quickly browsed her regular questions mentally to see if any of them would pertain to the situation at hand. However after his last two comments about free advice and his disposition after his selling tone, she couldn’t help but laugh quietly. Any doubting thoughts she had about him disappeared completely, and she couldn’t find any point in asking the questions that she had come up with.
“I’m not the best person to ask for questions either," Sayha admitted, "but going through my reserve list, I don’t think I have any questions for you. As for high-quality items and equipment, I may take you up on your offer another time. For now, can you explain to me how the hide and seek type game will work?”

[attr="class","capsol"] Hiro was honestly a little let down that Sayha didn't ask him any questions. While he wasn't great at asking them, himself, he loved answering questions, for unknown reasons. He felt like he almost always had something to talk about, something that would interest people as he spoke, but that was neither here nor there, for the moment. Instead, she asked about the Hide and Seek game itself, which was probably the best thing to go off of for the time being. Still, he wasn't sure what to think, since she had said she went through her 'reserve list' and figured that there wasn't anything to ask. Glad that she'd take him up on his offer for equipment, sure, but still a bit confused. Either way, he would try not to let him be bothered by that, key word being try, and figure out a way to explain this whole Hide and Seek business, as it would work here in the city. This was probably the most difficult part, since he didn't really know what to do, since he was only used to the forest. Hiro would need to take a minute to figure things out for himself, first, before he tries to explain to someone else.
Hiro looked around himself, thinking. He saw all the tall buildings and such, but didn't know how that would work to his advantage or disadvantage, and figured that it might be best to try and limit all movement to the streets only. Such a thing, though, would leave the game a lot less fun for the two of them, since he figured that Sayha could probably run up or scale some of the smaller buildings, and use them like steps, while Hiro himself could just leap up from one building to the next without that much trouble. Although, his speed would likely be too much of an advantage, since he was naturally able to heighten his speed dramatically with just two skills, and his natural ability from the Monk class. Dexterity and Evasion were as important as Strength for Monks, and were leveled up as much as everything else was. That wouldn't be very fair for Sayha, since he would naturally be able to outrun her. So, perhaps he'd do what he and Shizu did, and he'd only be limited to the streets and such, while Sayha would have full range of motion, however she wanted. She was, after all, supposedly the hunter in this case, while he was just the prey.
"Alright, so how it worked back in the forest," Hiro began, returning his gaze to the Assassin nearby him. "Was I would sing something after a little while, giving you an indication of where I was at the start. Of course, this would be after I get like a five minute head start, and go to a random direction. I would know where you start, but I wouldn't know where you go from there. The idea here is that you hunt me down, using the sounds I make every so often, to pin-point my location. From there, the goal will be for you to find me." He clapped his hands together. "Simple enough, right? I won't be a jerk, though, and make it so it's impossible for you to win. This'll just be an exercise for you to get started on learning the subclass's abilities, and how best for you to incorporate them to your normal operations." Hiro raised one finger up, to signify something. "Since this is a first-run kind of thing, I'll stay on the streets for the entirety of the game, except for when I start things off. I'll get up on top of one of the buildings, and basically broadcast noise from that point, where hopefully you should be able to hear it from even here." He leaned forward a bit, resting his arms on his knees. "If you've got any other questions about it, or if I didn't explain it well enough, let me know. Of course, if you change your mind and would rather just sit here and chat, I don't mind either." Closing his eyes and giving a child-like grin for just a moment, Hiro sat back up, waiting for Sayha's possible questions or opinion on the whole thing.

Sayha nodded as Hiro explained how the game would work. In concept, it sounded simple enough. Sayha would probably start where they were to begin with, and Hiro would run off somewhere else in the city. After five minutes, he would use his Idol subclass to sing. Sayha would then have to use her Tracking subclass and find him, which was easier said than done for her. The only Tracker ability that she had at that particular moment in time was <Silent Move>, but then again the point of the exercise was to raise the subclasses level.
Sayha briefly thought about the city in her head. It was a fairly large city with a lot of buildings. It would definitely be interesting working with the echoes of the concrete buildings to try to find him. However, the size also concerned her because it was so large. Even with only a five minute head start, Hiro could get pretty far thanks to his Monk class. Then again, it wouldn’t be any fun if it was easy.
“So then would I be allowed to be on top of the buildings or would I be limited to the streets only as well?” Sayha asked, “I mean we could start out on the streets only and work our way up to buildings if we’re playing more than one round. Also if you do hear me, will you move your position like you actually would if you were my target? Then when we’re done, we can talk more if you’re still interested in doing so at that time.”

[attr="class","capsol"] Hiro nodded as Sayha did begin to ask a few questions. It only made sense that not everything was clear to her, though that could probably be his own fault. Hiro, as much as he was bad at asking questions, was also quite bad at explaining things. This was very much apparent to him when he would quite often lose people with what he was saying. So, he wanted to try and clear things up as best as he could for now. "Well, we could start off with something much more simple, though I wouldn't want it to be too easy that you'd just automatically win." He shrugged to himself as he continued. "Granted, the point of this was for you to win, so you could get more of a feeling for the subclass in general. But, that's beside the point." Hiro turned to face the Assassin again. "If you wanna start off in a smaller area, then we probably could, just so you can kinda get an idea of how thing would work out at the start, and we could go up from there, using this little plaza as the starting point." Probably a fairly safe offer to make, since this was a neutral place. It was kind of close to the center of the city, too.
All that being said, though, he continued. "But, as for the actual thing, where I'd have like five or so minutes to actually get a good distance away, I'd stay to the streets after letting out a song or tune from on top of a building. Like I said, just to broadcast where I am, so you'd have a good place to start looking from." This was how it worked in the forest, and the same idea could probably apply to the city as well. After all, the places at which sound will bounce and echo off from are much greater in the city, so finding him shouldn't be too tough, especially if he just stays on the streets. "If we started off with that quicker and easier type of run, then I'd probably just stay to the main roads, and avoid back alleys where I could easily lose you. As much as I think it would be fun to play around a bit extra at the start, it wouldn't be that fair." Hiro chuckled a bit, thinking so far as to even jump up, tap Sayha on the back, and then run away within an alley where she couldn't see him in such a situation. While he would love to be able to do that at the start, that wouldn't be fair. He knew this place much better than she did, given their difference in level.
His mind wandered back to the last thing she had mentioned, about hanging out and talking afterwards. "As for just hangin' out and talking once this is all done..." He paused, leaning back on the bench again. "I'd like that." A smile graced upon his face, as he tilted his head up a bit to look at the clouds. "Just talking, I'm having some good fun here with you, and I have absolutely no problem doing this some more once we're all done." Turning to face her again, Hiro smirked. "I know a good place where we could grab a drink, and we can talk over a cup of tea, or whatever you feel like drinking. I'll even offer to pay for it." He raised a thumb up to her once more. "My treat." Giving her a genuine smile, he turned back up to the sky again, folding his arms across his chest. "If you want to, of course. That being said, though, I'll let you decide what you would rather do for the time being. That trial run, or just go straight into it. S'up to you." He fell quiet at this moment, allowing her to think about it, if she needed to. Otherwise, he would just wait for her to reply. As he waited, though, he tried to remember the name of the place where he had suggested they get a drink from. He'd only been there a few times, but he could never remember the name. He quickly shook the thought from his mind, paying as much attention to his ears as possible, to hear Sayha's response.

Sayha listened carefully and nodded as Hiro explained the game more. It sounded fair, and she didn’t have any complaints. “Starting off in a smaller area would be good, at least for round one,” Sayha agreed, “Once the first round is done and I get a hang of how it works, we can probably include alleys and building tops for any future rounds. And the plaza as the starting point is what I assumed since we’re already here.” Sayha quickly ran through some ideas on how to find him quickly. Her biggest problem would probably be the speed debuff she got when she activated Silent Move, but as long as she did her moves smartly, it wouldn’t be too big of a problem.
Sayha smiled at the proposition of getting a drink after the game. Sayha, personally, was not a drinker. Then again, it was illegal for her to drink alcoholic stuff at her age back in the US, and it never interested her even when she could after she moved. She also never really went to cafes or anything like that since she moved to England. She did, on occasion, go for tea or coffee after her martial arts classes with other classmates before she moved. She actually missed doing that, and the idea of going for a drink made her happy. “Getting a drink afterwards sounds like fun,” Sayha said, “So now that that’s all decided, you want to go ahead and ‘hide’ so I can ‘seek’?” Mentally, she noted which way was north so she had a better idea of where Hiro may go.

[attr="class","capsol"] As Sayha had confirmed that being in a smaller area would be easier to start things off with, Hiro nodded. That would probably be the easiest way of getting things started, as they had conversed about before, and definitely thought it was the best way of starting things off. Smiling a bit at the remark she had made about the drinks afterwards. "I'm looking forward to it already." Hiro noted, as he began to stand up. "Yeah, we can get this started." Hiro began to stretch a bit, crouching down and extending his leg out to the sides, and shifted his weight so that he would be able to fully stretch out the other leg as well. "Give me like a minute to get things moving, and I'll burst out a song." He jumped up and began to hop around a little bit, finishing up some warm-ups. He turned to Sayha for a moment, gave her a little salute with his right hand, and started to run in a direction. Exiting the plaza, and turning one of the corners, Hiro dashed away from the place where he and Sayha sat, deciding to not make it all that difficult in where he was going at first. Luckily enough for him, he knew of a few places that he could go, just to climb up, and start singing. He did, however, forget that the place was rather crowded today, so he ended up having to dash between people for a little ways. Once he cleared all the people, though, he found himself in a market district, where his headlong dash had found him in an obstacle course-type of situation. His body immediately began to dive and duck underneath stands and such, while he would jump up high above some tents and such, still attempting to weave himself around people in the way. Managing to perform just that, though, he found himself on the other side of it all after a little bit of time, and looked up to find the building he had wanted to start from. Smiling a bit, Hiro thought about ascending it through the stairwell inside at first, but he felt that that would end up taking too much time. He had already used up about 50 seconds of the minute he promised, so he decided to just do it the quick, painless, and probably cooler way: Jump from the street up to the top of the building, by using nearby rooftops as access points! Much cooler, of course. Springing from one rooftop to the next, he climbed up along the building, eventually landing on top of it. It was an old clock tower type of thing, that didn't reach up very high. It was mostly used to tell time in the nearby plazas if one was in need of trying to find the time in the olden days, back when cell phones and PDA's weren't readily accessible, or even before they had been invented. Such a silly thing, he figured, to think about such an old world in that exact kind of a context, given the surrounding environment was covered in moss, roots, vines, and all other sorts of overgrowth. All that being said, Hiro looked up to the sky, taking in a deep breath, and began to belt out a song, hidden deep within his heart. Hiro sang out as loud as he could, letting his voice resonate within the air. He finished the first part of the song, as it echoed throughout the nearby area, and began to hop down from the building. He looked around himself when he had finished, to see people looking at him in a strange fashion. Not only did this guy just start leaping up to the top of an old clock monument, but he also started singing, in Japanese, from on top of it. Disregarding their gazes, Hiro began a jog in a different direction on the street, so as to keep himself from being seen as soon as the game started. Sayha blinked a few times as Hiro “warmed up.” She wasn’t necessary surprised, but she found it entertaining since no one else was warming up with him. Immediately after he finished, he jumped straight up and landed on one of the buildings. As he dashed off via building jumping, Sayha stood and carefully followed his shadow as best she could. The only thing she could tell was that he was probably headed south. So rather than just sitting and waiting, Sayha decided to do her own warming up which was just various types of stretching. After a few moments, there wasn’t much to do other than to wait for Hiro’s song. Hopefully, she would be able to hear it from wherever Hiro had decided to hide. Sayha took a deep breath and closed her eyes, focusing her senses on her hearing. At that particular moment, the only thing Sayha was able to hear was the noise from the nearby shopping area, and it was all muffled together. She wasn’t able to pull apart one voice from another, at least not yet. Instead, she tried to focus on Hiro’s voice to see if she could hear it.
It took a while, but Sayha was finally able to pick up on the voice. It was faint and hard to hear over the crowd, but that was her lead. She opened her eyes and quickly blinked. “<Silent Move>,” she whispered. She walked, very slowly, south through the crowd of people. Unfortunately with <Silent Move> active, she wasn’t able to make her way quickly through the crowd so she was stuck alongside of the road, pretending everyone else didn’t exist so she wouldn’t feel like she was suffocating.
When she had finally made her way through, she paused and took a deep breath. After getting her bearings, she looked around. Still no Hiro in sight. At least not yet. It was possible for her to just wait for Hiro to start singing again, but it would be irregular so there was no telling how long she would wait. Instead of doing that, she turned west down the main road and kept her eyes and ears peeled. He wouldn’t have gone too far off.

[attr="class","capsol"] When Hiro had figured that he had gotten a good enough distance away from the clock tower where he had broadcast the first song, he slowed his pace down a good deal, getting down to a normal walk. He let out a deep breath, letting all the extra oxygen in his lungs out. As his heart rate began to normalize, he realized that he was in yet another less populated area. Smiling a bit, he could hear a few birds overhead, fluttering on their way to whatever home that they had made for themselves. He felt rather at peace at the moment, despite being in a game where he was basically a slice of prey about to be caught by a hunter. Though, given the fact that he hadn't seen hide nor hair of the Assassin who was tracking him down, he figured that he could enjoy a moment's respite for the time being. He returned his attention to the streets ahead of himself, looking out for any sort of object blocking his way. What would be worse than getting suddenly tagged was falling over, landing on his face in a rather embarrassing fashion, and then being tagged. He might just skip right to the drinks, if that was the case. That being said, Hiro was constantly using his senses to be able to tell of Sayha was sneaking up on him. He knew that she probably wasn't exactly close to him for the time being, though she did have a hint as to where he was beforehand. Granted, he had the same kind of intel, since he knew roughly where she was in relation to him, from the starting point. Though, that has now since changed. He didn't even know if she was near the clock tower from where he had belted out the song beforehand. Which is why his senses were on full alert for the moment: He didn't know when he might hear her hit a twig or leaf in the streets, or if she would accidentally happen upon a much louder source of noise. At the moment, though, her level was likely too low for her to be fully invisible to all of his senses. Then again, if started to sniff out where she was in relation to him, that would just make him look weird, and feel even weirder. Nothing says normalcy like a dude sticking his nose up in the air, and sniffing around for someone who he's playing Hide and Seek with. That would cause much more disgusted looks than he needed to receive. Not only by random people, but by Sayha, too. Concluding his thoughts on that previous topic, willing to let it go into the winds of time, forever to drift off to a place where nobody ever had to think that again, he lowered his guard for a moment. He heard nothing, and after checking his back really quick, he confirmed that he wasn't being followed for the time being. By this point, he had been away from that one point for at least another minute, and decided to go ahead and sing out a bit more. While he walked, Hiro started to belt out the lyrics to Daze, a song he'd loved for a long time now. Being an Idol allowed him access to other languages, such as Japanese, like with this song. He wasn't perfectly fluent in it, but he knew his fair share, and at the very least enough to pronounce a majority of the language. Private Schools were good for that, at least, in helping him speak his own supposed native tongue. All that being said, though, he let the first full verse and chorus of the song ring out aloud, as he shifted back to just humming the rest from there. Hopefully, Sayha would have been able to hear that, and she could continue chasing after him now. Sayha was very thankful that she had made it out of the populated area, but she could still hear the roar of the crowd behind her. She could deal with the sound; it didn’t bother her. However, she was concerned she might not be able to pick up on Hiro’s singing when he would eventually start again.
Taking a deep breath, Sayha decided that she should probably stop for the time being and wait for her next hint. In the meantime, she stretched out her muscles some more, letting her focus go from her vision to her hearing.
After a while, she heard Hiro’s singing again. This time, it wasn’t nearly as faint. Actually, it was fairly close. Since she was so close, she decided that regulating her breathing like she was taught in her martial arts classes would be good. She didn’t want to give Hiro any hint she was almost upon him.
With her <Silent Move> still active, she kept making her way west. Her movement was still slow, thanks to the debuff, but she knew she wouldn’t make a sound. However, she also decided to be very safe and made sure not to step on anything that could possibly make noise.
After a few more minutes, she saw Hiro in front of her. She smirked, keeping her breath as quiet as possible. It took a while for her to actually get behind him, but when she did, she decided to surprise him.
“Your Japanese is really good,” she said, slightly louder than she would normally, “Do you know it fluently?”

[attr="class","capsol"] Once his song was done, he figured that he could carry along at a nice, slow pace, as he had for a little while now. Placing his hands in his pockets, he looked up to the sky again, watching some of the clouds as they moved by. Feeling the warmth of the sun on his skin once again, he let out a pleasant sigh. The wind gently grazed his face, carrying a lukewarm feeling to it, and the wonderful smell of some nearby bakeries, having fresh bread out to cool. In fact, just nearby, there was a small bakery-style of cart where some free bread was held out as an enticing sample for those who wanted to have a little something to eat, just to see if they liked the food, and would cause them to head inside and buy some bigger loafs. Feeling his stomach grumble just a bit, as he hadn't eaten much yet today, he decided that he would go ahead and partake just a bit. Of course, this was with the thought of just taking a small bit, eating it, and continuing along his merry way. But, what he didn't suspect was Sayha, right behind him, talking in a heightened voice.
Now, since he had lowered his guard, there was no real way for Hiro to protect himself. He also wasn't trying to absolutely lock her out of winning at all, as that would not have been fun at all for Sayha, who was here to learn how to perform her classes a bit better. All in all, though, Hiro was merely surprised, given that the circumstances were- Nope, screw that. "WHOAH!" Hiro shouted, spinning around quickly to see Sayha standing there. Without having stopped himself from the spin, Hiro found himself falling over onto his back, a few feet away from the cart and Sayha. Now that he has fully made himself look like a fool, he could continue about his day without worrying too much about it from there... As if. Letting out a sigh, he gave a defeated grin. "Well, you found me for sure." Instead of standing back up like a normal human being, Hiro rolled backwards and stood on his hands briefly, before vaulting himself back up to a standing position. "Nice job, though. You found me pretty quick." He admitted, walking back over to the cart. If Sayha was paying attention, she could probably see the thin line of blushing from embarrassment running across his face.
Immediately, Hiro grabbed one of the smaller bites of bread, and started to munch on it, leaning his body against the cart. "Not too bad, though, in all seriousness." He wasn't going to try and save face at all, since he figured it wouldn't do him any good, really. Instead, he'd answer her question, with which she surprised him. Gulping down a bit of the bread, he began. "I'm actually Japanese in the other world, but I was moved into my foster parents' house when I was a young child, due to... Extraneous circumstances." He wasn't going to go deep into it, since that probably wasn't a good idea for now. "The school I went to offered Japanese for a long time, so I took them up on it. I can sound it out pretty well, but I can't say I'm a master at it." He shrugged a bit at that last remark, plopping the last bit of the bread into his mouth quick.
He pointed to it. "That's some good bread. Have a bit." He offered. How kind of him, to offer someone else's bread to another person. All that aside, though, he wanted to talk about how she did on the Hide and Seek game. The bread would be a good thing to talk over for now. "You did pretty good, I'll say. I didn't expect you at all to come up from behind, even though I should have. To be honest, I was a little distracted, so I was a bit careless. Though, in the real thing, expect me to be a bit more on guard, and moving around a little more." He wanted to assure her that he would be fully prepared whenever they started the real deal. That being said, he pointed over in the direction that the plaza where they started was at. "Whenever you're good to go, we can get moving back there, and we can start up the real deal, if you're still up for that." Offering that last bit up, he waited for her response, and would move when Sayha did.

Sayha had expected him to jump, but she did not expect him to spin and then fall back on his back. She smiled, giggling under her breath, at Hiro’s reaction. She was rather pleased with herself. When he vaulted up, Sayha rolled her eyes internally, not necessarily impressed, but she kept a smirk on her face as he did. Of course, he didn’t know that she took martial arts classes and could also do similar moves; that was one of her advantages, possibly her main one, she didn’t plan on revealing any time soon. She planned on telling him, but she figured it would be better to tell him over tea or coffee or whatever they ended up drinking. Then, she listened to Hiro answer her question. He shrugged after the explanation, and Sayha didn’t push. It was just curiosity that asked the question, and she didn’t need to know the details. Maybe she’d ask him to explain more at a later date.
Sayha raised her eyebrow when Hiro mentioned one of the food carts had good bread. It was slightly random, which was saying something considering she was known for saying what was on her mind.
He then complemented her on finding him so quickly, which she just nodded. She had expected the future rounds to be more difficult, and she had hoped they would be.
“I am ready for the real deal, but I don’t do well in large crowds,” Sayha explained, “I’m perfectly fine with this as the next starting place if you want to go ahead and start.”
