[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]ROSETHORN [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Fleur Delacruix [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: Nineteen [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: olivia, FIRE EMBLEM: KAKUSEI [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Kuroya [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]On outwards appearance, in real life, Fleur is actually rather unremarkable, something surprising given that her father is a French fashion designer and her mother an American model who works under him. She has soft green eyes, like a leaf held up to the sunlight, and a rather tall body, her limbs often tangled up in each other. She's a little uncoordinated, hence why she was never interested in sports, and in fact, she's happiest with a paintbrush or pen in her hands and paint spattered across her skin, though she actually has quite a fair bit of skill with clay and stone mediums alike. Her hair is a soft brownish color, like that of a washed out tan, and it's usually kept up in a little braid that presents the outward appearance that her hair is soft and fluffy. She never wears heels since she's convinced that they attempt to kill her, she doesn't like skirts or dresses that fall above her knee, and a plunging neckline is something that makes her turn beet red. All in all, she's a rather mousy kind of plain girl, nothing special in any way and easily passed right by. And then she ended up trapped in her roommate's avatar. She's lucky enough to not have a huge cleavage, but what she has is greatly accentuated by the small, slender, willowy body and revealing clothes. She has bright blue eyes, their color that of a pond in the winter. She's slight and dainty, coordinated. She's without blemish on her body, and her skin is a milky cream. Her hair is a soft bubblegum pink, wavy and falling around her shoulders to rest just beneath her shoulder blades when it's all down. It's not something that she's used to, and as a result, she's often trying to tug her clothes to cover more or attempting to hide herself with her arms, as if she thinks that she can manage that. Sure, she's more beautiful - if the frequent questions about whether or not she's some kind of escort is anything to go by - and more coordinated, but she's so awkward in this form. In fact, she's usually so preoccupied with trying to preserve some modesty that she carries herself even smaller than she already is, something that makes her look all the more child-like and innocent... fragile. But she's always been fragile in her core. Her outward appearance just matches that for the first time since she was very young. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]To strangers, Fleur is someone who's easily forgotten in the background. She's a quiet sort of girl, content with this from others, and in the real world, she was fond of putting on her iPod and passing the day by drawing in her sketchpad. She's a little forgetful at her core, though that's mostly because she's so in touch with her creative side that she has some trouble thinking linearly. In fact, it was almost entirely because of her Uncle Barbary's influence and gentle urging that she even made it into an art college, the girl so caught up in her own little world that she was entirely ignorant of the deadlines fast approaching. If given the muse, she would disappear for days into the countryside, reachable by phone but otherwise completely caught up in her painting. She would always notify people before she went, and she'd be certain to take care of herself, usually good about taking at least one other friend with her whenever she would, but sometimes she'd just not have the opportunity to truly pause to wait for anyone else and run off on her own. To friends, however, Fleur was quite the perky individual. She loved to do art, and she was always willing to draw people if she was fond of them and had the time; in fact, a good many of her stonecutting works were given to friends as gifts, and all of them were treasured by the recipients. She was loyal to those who she named friend, even if they would hurt her, and her main problem was that she would let issues brew deep inside herself rather than voicing them, so when she would reach her breaking point, she tended to explode rather poignantly and bring up things that bothered her from months, or even years, past. She was generous, almost to the point of being entirely too trusting of people who were looking to take advantage of her, and she always had time to listen to a friend if they needed a friendly ear. She would support just about anyone she called friend, no matter what they came to her about, and it was rare for her to back down from something she was truly passionate about. Get her talking about a topic that she loved, and she could go on for hours, excited with the conversation. Despite the fact that she could never bring herself to hurt most bugs, the vast majority of them actually scare her, spiders in particular. In fact, spiders scare her to the point where she is unable to even bring herself to kill them, instead watching it with an expression of terror until either she loses track of it, she runs away, or someone else squishes it for her. Slasher movies don't scare her, but jumpscares terrify her. What she tries the hardest to hide from others, however, is the fact that she's actually quite the romantic at heart. She's the sort to believe in that fairy tale ending, and that everyone has that one other person who completes them. In spite of the fact that she's never been kissed or had a romantic interest of any kind, she dreams of the day that she'll find that happiness for herself and get to crawl into the arms of someone who will kiss her hair and wrap their arms around her and just let her stay there while she draws or paints or crafts or rests or whatever else it is that she does there. With her kind of modesty for clothes, however, it's of little surprise that the avatar disorients her. Coming from a girl who rarely wore a neckline that dropped low enough to even hint at a cleavage or bottoms with hems that ended above her knees, she's entirely at odds with the scantily clad avatar she has now, and since she gets jeers about being an escort, it's not uncommon for her to go around bright red and trying to hide herself with her arms. The whole thing is just awkward, and it doesn't look to be getting better any time soon either... [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Fleur was born the only child of Marcus Delacruix and Adriana Vale. Marcus, a busy owner of a fashion industry in France, rarely had time for his daughter, but it was not through a lack of love. No, he simply didn't often have the time to travel all the way across the ocean to America to spend time with her and her mother, who had been one of the models under his employ. He did actively encourage Adriana to put his last name on the birth certificate, and when she stated that she was going to retire from modeling so that she could raise her daughter, he instead offered her full pay if she could come in every now and then to shoot something for him; she agreed. Fleur ended up spending a lot of time at her Uncle Barbary's house - she was never quite sure if that was his first name, or his last name, or some sort of nickname, and she had always thought it rude to ask - as a child, but she didn't mind. Her uncle was a part of her family, and since he had the remains of what was once a great plantation in the midst of the South, she was always permitted to roam and frolic as she pleased. The days spent at the plantation seemed timeless, to her, just as if she had stepped into a sacred home where the sands of time would trickle on outside of its borders while they did not touch her sanctuary. Uncle Barbary was actually an artist, though he was regarded as an eccentric one at best, and as such, he often would spend the time helping his niece when she would want to make pottery, not to mention that when she would, he actually would have the things to make it a possibility for her. As Fleur grew older, however, he began to introduce her to his primary medium of creation: stonecutting. She displayed quite a talent for that, all things considered, but she wasn't as drawn to it as she was painting. Her mother was taking more and more jobs with her father, and they were visiting less and less often, and she often sent them some of her drawings. She was never consciously aware of a fear of their disapproval, but her Uncle Barbary saw it, and that was why he would often call her parents and then say that they had called for her. Fleur's childhood and teenage years were otherwise uneventful. She would draw and write stories, in touch with her creative side, while the math and science was something that she struggled with, mostly since she hated math with a passion and the teachers wouldn't bother to try to improve that situation for her. Her parents would visit occasionally, but for the most part, she was left well enough alone to draw as she pleased. She wasn't popular in school, but she had her own circle of friends and wasn't hated by her fellow students. In fact, perhaps the only "oddity" of her high school days would have to be that she spent all four years of her high school life without a boyfriend of any kind, too shy to take the initiative to ask one out herself and not pretty enough to elicit one on her own. Fleur was accepted at an art college with little difficulties, a subtle word from her Uncle Barbary opening doors that she wasn't even aware of. But when they offered an exchange program to Britain, she was delighted with the chance to break out on her own and do something without anyone there to help her. With some persuasion, she managed to convince her uncle to let her go, and she departed for England, finding a quaint little apartment that she shared with two males who had no problems with opening their arms to a girl. She wanted to become a graphic novelist or a designer for storyboards; the only thing holding her back was lack of inspiration for a truly great story, and in the green hills of the English countryside, so unlike those of her home back in the United States, she found herself on the brink of an idea, the concept flitting just beyond her grasp, like an ethereal butterfly of a dream. Fleur had never been one for gaming, so when the Unfounded Kingdom server of Log Horizon was announced, she didn't miss a beat. She wouldn't have even known about it had it not been for one of her roommates, who was passionate about it. She was sitting at a desk while he was making his avatar, and then the phone rang, and he stepped away from it. She'd gotten up to get a book for reference, and as she was passing by the computer, she saw his avatar, and almost immediately, the idea that she had been developing for months burst to life inside her mind. She sat down and stared at the girl on the screen, playing with a few things as she tried to alter the character to fit the one in her head. And then, Fleur made a horrible mistake. She accidentally hit 'enter' while she was trying to change the class, transporting her into the game. She didn't know where she was or what she was supposed to do. All she knew was that she'd ended up trapped in a world that she could not change, and that terrified her. She was out of her element, and she had no idea whether she would ever be home again. All she knows is one thing: if she ever escapes this, she is going to beat her roommate within an inch of his life for putting her through this. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]In spite of the fact that she claims to be heterosexual, Fleur's actually secretly bisexual. It's something she's buried deep in her subconscious, terrified that her parents would dislike her if she liked a girl, but thankfully, she's never had a situation where she had to deny anything since she was in her teenage years. She never knew it, but Fleur's two roommates were actually selected by her parents to protect her. From what exactly, they didn't know, but when Adriana got a bad feeling, Marcus decided to reassure her by putting her in a room with two boys who were looking to become federal agents. |

A low-base healing ability that releases a thin pink mist with the fragrance of flowers. Its quick casting speed and low cooldown makes it a very utility skill for keeping up dedicated healing on a party member. The aesthetic effect also makes it a nice ability to have when cleaning a room, too! [attr="class","skill"]Nature Revive: Main Class - Druid - Tier I. A revival skill on par with the Cleric's Resurrection skills. It can only be used if the target has only been incapacitated within the last 10 seconds. This skill will bath the target in blue light and resurrect them with low HP. There is also a slow HP regeneration effect upon revive. The only downside to this ability is that a target cannot be revived again by this skill for two minutes, so the party should quickly support them back up to a safe state as soon as possible.! [attr="class","skill"]Earthbeat Healing: Main Class - Druid - Tier I. Heartbeat Healing, in the form of a full party regeneration ability. It covers the target in a sparkling blue light. Understandably, it has a longer cooldown and a slightly lower efficiency than its single-target counterpart. However, it can be stacked with Heartbeat Healing to create a steady rate of healing over time. Be careful, as this skill attracts a high amount of aggro from opponents. [attr="class","skill"]Flameburst: Main Class - Druid - Tier I. This skill involves the Druid thrusting forward the spell. Then after a second's cast time, an attack resembling a flamethrower is fired forward in a cone-shaped pattern. Enemies in the flame radius are scorched, causing their HP to gradually decrease every few seconds for about ten seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Carving: Crafting Class - Artisan - Level 1. Toggle skill. Artisans have a certain affinity with carving stone, making their normal artistic talents not to be underestimated in battle. Artisans deal 20% more damage to Rock-type monsters. They can also ignore defense buffs on Rock-type monsters. [attr="class","skill"]Busybody: Subclass - Housekeeper - Level 1. The housekeeper can produce Level 1-5 items as though they were a Chef, Tailor, or Woodcrafter. If the housekeeper's crafting subclass is one of these classes, then they are able to craft items 5 levels higher than their crafting class's level. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Starter Staff: A two-handed starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. It is typically used to channel magic, but can also be used to whack people on the side of the head. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
