[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]BLUE [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Mira Florentine [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 22 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Bisexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: feldt grace, GUNDAM 00 [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: BLUE [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] [Subject Image 1] [Subject Image 2] Flowing strands of light red hair fall down in intricate waves and frame a face holding soft delicate features. gentle lips which house a small and quiet smile sit below two emerald orbs which glow verdently in the light of the sky. Her hair is long and sits gently on her back, brushed to the side and tied in an enticingly messy tail. Sometimes she likes to dress them into pig tails, a habit she developed as a child. As far as accensories go, there are many which have come and gone in her seventeen years of living. She does favor a violet ribbon which she uses to tie her hair back into a ponytail. It's hard to see in the mess of her red locks, but it is there. Mira is a person in love with irony, and so deigns to make herself appear contrary to what people expect. Hence when given the moniker of BLUE, she took it upon herself to incorperate clothing along the red color spectrum into her outfit. Not to say she doesn't wear other colors, she just has a preference. The young lass sports soft feminine features and carries a grace in her stride that comes with years of practice in the field. She is a dancer after all. Everything from her looks to her mannerisms must reflect fluidity and beauty. Her clothing changes with the seasons, and relates to the performances she particpates in, wherever she goes. When not a dancer though, Mira prefers a particular outfit, sporting blue and white belted traveling pants, black boots with steel toes, a grey shirt, embroidered around the collar with green cloth surrounding an emerald diamond shape, and a pink long sleeve jacket, cut short at her stomach. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]How better a way to describe ones being than the works they bring into this world? Mira brings to reality the beauty of the forgotten world in song, dancepainting, and architecture. There is a passion in the way she moves and the canvas she paints which awakens something once thought lost after the catastrophe; the natural beauty of the world. It's something few people see, and a trait which Mira treasures beyond anything else. When she looks at people, she sees them as a sort of canvas, painted by their actions and the world around them. Some are dark and ugly, others are light and beautiful, and many are a mixture of them all. To Mira, it's truly a sight to behold. She enjoys studying people, learning what makes them tick, to understand their canvas and what way she can paint it. To those that don't see the world the way she does, which is most everyone, she comes off as spacey, living in her own little world. While she is admired for her skills, people who interact with her regularly find her to be strange and confusing. She'll speak her thoughts, even if they have no context to the situation, and often times she'll make observations which someone won't get until much later on. People wonder if she's it on purpose or if it's just her natural reaction to things. If you asked her, she would give you a mischevious smile and ask you what you think. Mira does enjoy being cryptic. It scares people off a lot of the time, which is maybe why she only has a select group of friends. It may also be her pop-star status, she's never sure which. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Mira was once a student of the arts in London, attending a middle-tier university after graduating a private academy. Needless to say, she had been well off as a child, but that's not saying much when you consider the percentile of her economic bracket. Mira was born to hard working parents, a tough skinned detective for father and a gentle housewife for a mother. All things considered, you would think she'd take away some domestic traits from them, deductive reasoning, or a much-to-do housewife attitude. You would also be severely mistaken. Mira takes her influence from the world around her. She grew up with a lot of art around her, some of the locals being career artisans of one type or another. After school, she would talk with people on the way home, learn their outlooks on life and let them color her own. Eventually she took up an interest in music, and it all started from there. "Music is the tool which unites all media together" a quote from a London street musician Mira met on her walk home. It's true, when you think about it. Mira, after some devilish manipulation only a teenager could concoct, convinced her Father to buy her a guitar. The young teen took to the instrument quickly, practicing on it every day and showing her progression off to surprised yet pleased parents. It didn't just stop at mastering the guitar though. Mira craved more than just the tune floating through her ears, she needed to feel it. So when not practicing guitar, she began to dance, attending lessons and clubs at school. She became proficient at it, and it became a sort of hobby for her. One day when her guitar broke, a traumatic experience for the young girl, her mother bought her a painting set and suggested she try it until they got a replacement. It was a bullseye. Mira found herself engrossed, able to transcribe the energy she felt in song and dance onto canvas. It was a completely new way of expression that changed Mira's perspective of the world. Years later, with highschool behind her and her time now her own, Mira had a lot more options. Scholarships paved the way for university, where she became a major in musical theory, and with her natural aptitude for learning, the young woman had no issues balancing life and hobbies. Though her social life left much to be desired, since she often forwent social interaction outside club activities for her hobbies. Eventually, Mira had to fill the gap from her mounting success with videogames. It was a new concept for her, but like most new things, she took to it quickly. She wasn't the best, not by a long shot, but she enjoyed herself and filled her role well. MMORPGS were a favorite, as she got to take skills you wouldn't find in other games, and interact with like-minded people. There was always one game she enjoyed, the first MMO she ever played: Elder Tale. That was her time killer for four long years of university. Final Quarter of her senior year at university, Mira had just a few more classes to go until she was certified to follow her career. It was a good season, with her future promising and her present enjoyable. Elder Tale was even coming out with a new Expansion Pack. How exciting could life get? Little did anyone know that the lives of thirty-thousand, Mira included, were about to be spirited away in an event known as the Catastrophe. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]Her hair is a dark shade of brown in real life. Everything else is as close to the real thing as she could get. |

As an attack it is average but upon use, it boosts the bard's evasion rate for a certain period of time so it is popular among front-line bards as it increases their survivability. One peculiarity about this skill is that the attack motions and dance are rather elaborate. When using a sword, it is like a sword dance, if a spear it will be used as a baton constantly twirling round and round at high speeds. There are different motions for every kind of weapon. The motions for the giant scythe would be to take the huge weapon and to spin it around like one would a pencil and is quite the sight to behold. [attr="class","skill"]Speed Sword Etude: A lively song that makes one want to rush into battle. This tune causes all nearby party members' attack speeds to rise. [attr="class","skill"]Resonance Beat: Attack skill | Imbues a tune onto a weapon, causing a shockwave on impact, causing a resonance effect with the enemy's body as a medium. Even after the attack is over the effects of the shockwave remains and if an additional attack is made, it will cause a resonance explosion dealing further damage. As 2 hits are needed, the damage dealt is very high. By the way, bards who use percussion instruments and repeatedly use Resonance Beat are called "Drummers" or "Taiko masters". [attr="class","skill"]Phantom Ensemble: The user plays an oppressive song that generates an air current from the musical instrument, which blows up to a radius of 1.5 meters from the bard. The closer an opponent gets within the radius, the stronger the wind is and the more likely they would be blown away unless they are strong enough to withstand the effect. Continuously using this skill drains MP at an extremely fast rate, so it's best used only as an emergency defense. [attr="class","skill"]Scarlet Symphony: Attack skill | The Bard plays a song as a menacing red mist starts to form around them. Then, after two seconds, the Bard's mana mixes with the aura to create blood-red blades that swirl around the Bard in a small circle of two feet in radius. Opponents struck by the skill suffer a bleeding damage over time debuff. The cooldown of this skill is 15 seconds, and it applies as soon as the Bard stops playing their instrument. [attr="class","skill"]Dischord: A skill that utilizes the pent-up vibrations accumulated in the musical instrument and harnesses it in order to strike the foe with sound waves produced by constructive interference. It is activated by shaking the musical instrument for a few seconds while focusing one's gaze on a target. An enemy hit by the musical instrument at this moment is left highly disoriented, reducing all of their stats by 10% for 5 seconds. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Lullaby of the Mermaid in the Moonlight: Tier I Skill A support song that has a mild area of effect range. One key concept to remember is that depending on the difference between the Bard and the enemy's level, it will take some time before the target succumbs to the skill. When used, an aqua-blue ripple effect will occur and an image of a singing mermaid will appear over the head of the caster. Popular uses for this skill involve a sleep lock, a sequence in which the target is put to sleep, followed by the Bard's party members aiming their attacks all at the same time, which is then followed by a recasting of this skill to initiate a relapse. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds, a maximum duration of 10 seconds, and a cooldown of 30 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Carving: Toggle skill. Artisans have a certain affinity with carving stone, making their normal artistic talents not to be underestimated in battle. Artisans deal 20% more damage to Rock-type monsters. They can also ignore defense buffs on Rock-type monsters. [attr="class","skill"]Level 11 Skill Quick Architect: Through a process of trial and error, fledgling Artisans are able to learn the techniques for producing crafted materials quickly. This allows them to create temporary structures of stone, given enough available materials. However, this comes with the cost of making the object extremely fragile, to the point where even a moderate impact can completely shatter it. It's said that some Artisans have attempted to turn this quirk into an unusual battle strategy when fighting atop stone-filled mountains. [attr="class","skill"]Pacifying Dance: A skill that allows the dancer to perform beautiful dances to momentarily captivate those who see it. It might cause hostile monsters and People of the Land to stop fighting the dancer and their party for a few moments. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: Beginner’s >Irish Flute<: A cheap little instrument for aspiring musicians and novice bards, made out of cheap materials. They don’t really play too well, but at least you can play something. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Lugh's Needle: Lv10 sword. A swept hilt Rapier named after the Irish god of Light. It bears a minor radiance of the sunlight's warmth, invigorating the wielder and those around it, an ode to it's namesake, who's domain was the sun itself. Reforge: [50% Elemental fire damage: +2.5 damage level to fire-weak, -2.5 to fire resist, -5 to fire null.] [attr="class","skill"]Elatha's Blessing: Level 30. Metal Accesory. A bangle named after the Irish god of Darkness. There is power in the names of the old gods. One should not invoke them lightly. The bangle is of a dark metal, almost charred, in memory of the fallen sun god. Reforge: Level 30 Increase Damage to Adventurers. [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#2: [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#3: [attr="class","skill"]Accessory#4: [attr="class","h3"]Inventory [attr="class","b2"]Starter Rapier: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. 3 x Potion of Nighteye L22: A potion made from a certain species of herbs that are said to have granted the People of the Land temporary night vision in the past. Due to the low quality of the solvents used to make this potion, it should be drank rather than used as eyedrops according to old Lander testimony. Upon being used, it tints the user's vision green and slightly increases their ability to see in the dark for a short period of time. Its duration and potency depends on the average level of ingredients used to make it. 3 x Medicinal Tablet L22: A healing pill that restores about 825 HP. It is generally considered more convenient than drinking a formula due to the player only needing to swallow or chew the tablet. It has a toxicity rating of 1. After a player drinks potions with a total toxicity rating of 20, any potions taken afterward become halved in effect. Therapeutic Index applied. 5 x Lesser Mana Potion L22: A basic mana potion that restores about 275 MP. It's good for lower levels, but lacks the oomph higher levels need. Therapeutic Index applied. Small Music Box: A small toy that can play about a few dozen recorded notes in repeat as long as it is winded. It comes in a rather old and flimsy wooden box, and its utility depends on the level of the materials used to make it. Keep in mind that this is only the music box's mechanism, considering that many will also want to collaborate with a woodcrafter to make a nice box to hold this item in. The Mechanic that crafts this item may decide what song it plays. Apocrypha Blades (Level 20):A Pair of Roller Blades, crafted by Mechanic Hirosame. Guaranteed to provide comfort and satisfaction to the wearer, as they blaze down the road with style. The wheels have a Solstice Symbol on one side, and an Asterial Age symbol on the other. These roller blades performs well in the streets, but does little to nothing on dirt or rocky paths. Golden Rose Level 10: Is a dress set tailored and designed by Kumori. It is a long and gold and has many “layers” to depict a rose or a flower. There is fur around the neck to keep the wearer warm, and the dress is flowy. There is a calligraphic K-R etched into the tag to denote the crafter. Painting. Lvl 6. A painting by Blue the Bard. The work depicts the process of resurrection in front of Londinium's Westminster Abbey. The use of lighting and composition make this a simple yet exemplary work. The artist comments: "Not my best, but it's what it should be." Chalk Set: Lvl 1. A simple set of chalk, good for any class room. |
