It didn’t take long for Sayha to make her way to Londinium, though it had been later than she thought it was. The sun had begun to set, and the sky had started to turn a bright orange and pink. She checked the time on her interface, and it was almost 7p. The library would still be open though it would close within the hour. Sayha decided to wait to go back to the merchant and instead went to the library instead. She needed to find out more about the tunnels. Sayha made her way into the library and waved at the librarian on staff. She had started going there regularly and had gotten to know pretty much every librarian. On top of that, she knew where all the books she was looking for were. She pulled down a few books that talked about the Chesleherst Tunnels and took them to her normal table which was off in a corner. She also pulled out her notebook from her inventory for notes.
So far, Sayha had found the exact seem she had found before over and over ago. She was about to give up when she found something interesting. In one book, there were some creepy stories that were associated with the Tunnels. The first story was about some explorers finding a dead woman’s body in a small pond located deep within the tunnels. When the people who discovered the body tried to move it, strange things happened. Lanterns broke and people got hurt for no reason. And none of them remembered what had happened.
The next story that Sayha read made her even more curious. There was a challenge for people to sleep in the “haunted” tunnel near the water. Two people decided to do the challenge, and they slept at opposite ends of the area near the water. One person awoke to hear the other one getting hurt. The person had a dislocated shoulder as well as other minor injuries. The person injured had no memory of what happened. The challenge was cancelled, and the injured person taken to the healers.
Finally, there was a Lander Cleric/Exorcist who decided to try to exorcise the tunnel waters. He had gone in alone, but when he came back, he was insane. No one was sure what happened, but it was rumored that he was overtaken by a dark force. Back then, they had no idea what Miasma was, and Sayha had a pretty good idea that was what it was. That was all the proof she needed.
Sayha returned the books to the shelves and left the library, immediately going to the merchant’s home. It was time the sword be returned to its rightful owner. Once she was at the house, she knocked on the door and waited.

[attr="class","capsol"] For a majority of the day, Marcus had been doing his best to keep looking on his own. His family had returned to the house, while Marcus made it his job to keep an eye open, and see if he could find the blade on his own. It would have been miraculous if he had, however he would have had to repay the Assassin for her wasted efforts. Alas, though, the merchant wasn't able to find anything on his own end. From there, he waited silently for the Assassin to return, hopefully finding some kind of clue at the very least. If she had found nothing, though not all hope was lost, Marcus would have become very discouraged from it all. The tall, muscular man, had come home to his wife's loving embrace and the sympathy of his children, all whom he loved so very much.
Later on that evening, there was a rapping at the door. Marcus, confused walked over to the door, and opened it. His heart filled with glee, as the Assassin from before had arrived. "My goodness, my young lady! What a pleasant surprise it is to see you once again this day!" Marcus held his arm out and into the house. "Please, please, come in." He stepped aside, and allowed the Assassin the chance to step inside. He offered her a seat nearby the fireplace, as she would see a blonde-haired woman nursing a small baby in her arms. "Helena, this is the Assassin I had told you about." The woman looked over at Sayha, and nodded. He then pointed to a young girl, sitting and reading next to a candle. "This is my daughter, Deborah. And my wife, Helena. And then, you have the newest addition." He pointed to the young baby boy in his wife's arms. "Neil."
He stood at attention, and turned around to Sayha. "I hate to get right to the point, but have you found the sword at all? I've had no luck at all, given that I cannot do what it is you Adventurers can do." He spoke honestly to the girl, and hoped that she would present him with the sword that had been stolen from him and his family. Oh, how he wished he could have that symbol of his family once again. With bated breath, he waited for the eventual response that the Assassin would give him.

The merchant answered the door, and he appeared rather happy to see Sayha. When he gestured for her to come in, Sayha shook her head. He introduced his wife, daughter, and baby son. “It’s nice to meet you,” Sayha nodded at them, turning her attention back to the merchant. He asked about what she had found.
Sayha opened her items interface and pulled out the sword, handing it to the merchant, “Here is your sword, and it should still be in the condition it was in before it was stolen. I do recommend keeping it locked in a vault so that no one will try to steal the sword again. If you don’t currently have a vault, you can go to the bank and deposit items there for safe-keeping. Anyway, have a good evening and take care.” Sayha bowed slightly before turning and walking away from the house.
Sayha left the house and headed to the shopping areas which were now calmer with less people, and Sayha’s mind went to when she had died in that world. She had vowed that she would change, but she hadn’t done so yet. She knew she needed to, and she knew where she needed to start. First, she needed to get the Heretic to listen to her and give up on whatever plans she had. That would take a while, and Sayha knew that she would need to be stronger in order to do that. Secondly, Sayha had played with the idea of changing how she appeared and decided that she would finally do so. Thirdly… she would finally be honest with herself with her feelings. All of them.
Sayha went into one of the stores in the market area that was known for their potions, and Sayha bought an <Appearance Changing Potion>. It wasn’t an easy decision to do make for her as she had been used to the body she was in for quite some time. There were also other added complications that could arise from it. Either way after she bought it, she decided to head to the Palace where she had a room as well as privacy.
The next day, Sayha planned on calling Hiro about what she had learned so the two of them could investigate the tunnels… but she needed to do something first.
Sayha knew what she wanted to look like despite her not being completely sure and drank the Potion. She was going to keep the vow she made herself.
