Seems like a conversation shift was probably the best thing that Hiro could have done. It seemed, for a few moments, that Sayha was overloading with embarrassment. While the jovial child that Hiro was wanted to pursue a bit more teasing, the intelligent part of him also knew that he would like to keep a relationship with this girl, and that overly teasing someone would be the worst option. A reward of having changed the topic was that she had begun to explain her own eating habits, and what her usual daily routine was. Valuable information, to say the least, since it was nice to get an inside view as to what Sayha usually did on a regular day. Now that he was getting a bit of an insight, perhaps he would learn what kinds of things she generally liked to do? Well, at least he found out that she did enjoy getting exercise often. Often enough to determine when she does or doesn't have food. And then her habits of studying on some materials for her new subclass, but aside from that, her daily routine seemed to be very work-centered. Not much in the way of play in the meantime.
Then again, Hiro couldn't necessarily get on her about that. His own routine was something similar, though a bit more of a twist to his own lifestyle. "I wouldn't say a hermit, maybe more focused on taking care of yourself and work." The Monk stated. "To be honest, I can't say I do much differently, outside of maybe less exercise. Really, a lot of my time is spent doing quests for the station, paperwork for the guild, which is a lot more than you can imagine, and then working on new inventions and other crafting things." He leaned back a bit, stretching and thinking. "Like how I'm trying to be a better Tailor at the moment, so I could make some things for myself and maybe people who want or need something. Outside of that..." He paused, thinking again. Eventually, a guilty smile appeared on his face. "I guess our normal daily routines are kinda bland, aren't they?" Hating to admit something like that, he chuckled weakly. Then again, there wasn't a whole lot of stuff that one could do to have fun, unless one found a fun quest to do, or reading. Even then, the choices of books were pretty limited, so not much could get done.
But, a thought occurred. Perhaps this was half of the point of a relationship. To provide something fun for one another, as well as a means of security and sanctuary. Someone to be there with, share tough or wonderful moments with, and overall just enjoy things even more. But, maybe he was thinking a little too into it. For now, he'd just share his thought. "Well, maybe that's just because there isn't a lot going on, or there isn't much to do, outside of work or questing. And, I think, that us getting together would add something fun for us both to enjoy, right?" His eyes went up to the ceiling as he finished his sentiment. "Maybe more and more things will be fun, as time goes on, for the two of us. That's just what I think." Falling silent from there, he didn't know what else to say. Should he say something cheesy that would likely cause Sayha to slap her forehead at how ridiculous it was, with the slight chance that she'd crack a smile? Might not be worth it, since cheesy things didn't go over quite so well in his history. More often than not, in the other world, the girl would likely just glare at him, following it up with a simple 'Really?' That would generally end the mood for the time being, until something else happened. But, it might work with Sayha. He'd have to try later, but for now, the silence remained.
