A New Beginning
Greetings denizens of Londenium, I hope you all have started to settle in as well as I have. The hardships we have all faced so far have been many, and I believe that it is time to start to come together. It has been quite some time since I have established my guild the Britain Royal News, and it may seem as though we have been quiet. While we may have held our tongues, we have not done so with our tongues and our feet. We have been reaching out, every day making contacts and striving to make a network in order to prepare for this day.
I would like to announce with the content you are currently reading so dearly, the creation of the first informative newspaper to be established in the world and city we now call home. Our purpose and intent is to help enhance and enrich the lives of all adventurers and those we may interact with. We intend to put forth this publication on a regular basis in the coming weeks and months, and you will find it posted on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month.
It is the goal of the Britain Royal News and of this newspaper to bring you the most accurate information possible, and our ears are open to all that may have new information or developments across our lands. I believe many of you may be familiar with some of our work contained in the bestiary. This was a collaborative project with the painstaking efforts of the scribes of the BRN and of members of The Imperial Guard led by Lugh. It is our intention to continue to expand upon it as well as any other useful and important information that may be obtained for our fellow adventurers.

Discovery of a New City
After several weeks of mapping out the area, the exploration teams collaborating with the Britain Royal News scribes have completed a general map of the Windsor Greatwood area. The main road was originally littered by debris but has been cleared to reveal a pathway several kilometers long and leading to the city of Sarum. It seems to be an expy of what we Adventurers would know today as Salisbury and we suspect that it is a full-fledged city. There is a cathedral in the center of town which most likely works as the local resurrection point. Here is an interview of exploration team head, Karver:
Interviewer: "What can you tell us about the city from what you've seen?"
Karver: "Beautiful city. There's lots of waterways running through the place and it doesn't look as old and worn-down as the capital. It's a smaller pasture town, so it's a good chance of pace from the past few weeks. We've scouted the area for a little while, but there's been a bit of a problem."
Interviewer: "Problem?"
Karver: "Yeah. Out of nowhere, a bunch of golems started to appear as soon as we crossed this small fenced-off border leading into the city. Most of them aren't that strong compared to the ones in front of Windsor Castle, but they have a high respawn rate and won't stop spawning until we leave the area."
Interviewer: "If all the combat guilds band together, would it be possible to clear the blockade?"
Karver: "You'd figure we could probably just bust through, enter the city, and then decide what to do from there, but we couldn't do that. Even if you make a run for it, you get pushed back as though there was a force field somewhere. There's no way around it either, so if we were to open it, we'd need the combat guilds to stop the golems from spawning once and for all."
Interviewer: "What are your ideas?"
Karver: "We've noticed that along with the smaller golems, there seems to be these bigger, more elaborate types. Three in total. We've tried to take one on, but our attacks just kept bouncing off. So I think we'll need a good balance of combat and magic to beat them."
To help with clearing the blockade, please head over to the Old Parliament Building to get a map for the area. If you take the main road in the Greatwood, it should take you about an hour before you reach the main camp. We will keep you updated as this incident progresses.

We Need You
This newspaper is currently looking for freelance writers and reporters who would like to contribute to this publication. We are looking for anything you may want to write about, people, events, places and everything in-between including artistic depictions of events. From time to we will also give out some unverified rumors and tips for our writers to pursue and investigate as we receive them to be placed into our next issues. Completed articles in these categories can also be submitted directly to our tip line or our main office in London. You do not have to be a scribe in order to create these, however it makes it much easier for our editors like yours truly to read if you are.
We are also looking for a name! We are a paper for the people and we would like to have a name selected by the people. Please make your submissions on the bulletin board below this paper. Our next Issue will also have a classifieds section. Please submit them to our secretary on the BRN NEWS line or at our HQ. Thank you for your cooperation and we’l hopefully have Hearst off his soapbox by our next issue.
