London, that’s where he was at the moment, again. His home was here, so it was to be expected. He was walking down the street towards the market, going to his usual restaurant where they served some pretty good sandwiches. He wanted something decent to put down into his stomach, and it was about noon. The streets were somewhat crowded, but you could pick out who were adventurers and who were landers quite easily (with the differences in look and clothing). Adventurers typically wore things that seemed outlandish, even in this type of society, medieval and all the likes. Landers’ clothing looked more mediocre and less attention drawing. Even the wealthy Landers couldn’t compare to a level 5 adventurer. Most were drawn to stand out and flaunt their status as adventurers, however Ryuu would’ve taken a different approach. He still needed to craft his own cloak which would allow him to blend in with the Landers, but that was for the future. Even here, with his mostly-black outfit, he easily stood out from the Landers.
After perusing through the many stalls, Landers and Adventurers trying to get his attention to buy something, there was a certain adventurer that caught his eye. The pink hair and figure of the woman was undeniable that this was the girl who was with the man named Shaz and his friend Jojo. He clicked the button mentally to turn on the name display of other players and his suspicions were correct. It was the adventurer named Xhy Lynn. He looked at the stall she was at. It was an artisan store, which led him to believe that she was an artisan. Adventurers rarely went to market stalls that did not pertain to them, mostly because it didn’t help them for the most part. He moved through the crowd to the woman who was facing the inside of the stall and tapped her shoulder. “Hi, we met the other day? The boar and Ent incident?” he asked with an inquisitive tone. He brought his hand out to shake her hand. “I’m sorry that you saw me like that, last time. I was just furious that that Shaz man came in with little to no health left and risked death. My name is Kumori, it’s nice to meet you formally,” he said as he bowed and brought her hand after she went to shake it to his lips and kissed it. It was a gentlemanly greeting for a lovely gal. After he kissed or didn't kiss her hand, he would get back to his standing position and smile at her, hoping he didn't just create another awkward situation.

Xhy Lynn Xhy has been browsing at an artisan stall, she wanted to buy some basic supplies to start working with and to get a grip on her new subclass choice, while in the middle of thinking between two types of old canvas Xhy was tapped on the shoulder and then she heard a distantly familiar voice, one she had heard once or twice. Turning around Xhy looked to the person who had spoken to her. A bit shocked by the sudden appearance of the male, she almost dropped the items she had been looking at. Seeing he had his hand held out in an attempt to greet her like any normal person, Xhy was a little relieved. Placing down the item that was in the hand that would be the same as he had offered her, she gingerly shook his hand in greeting, and nodding as at his words. He soon after shaking hands with her, he apologized to her and had bowed and kissed her hand, which slightly embarrassed her. Xhy's face turned a little pink, as he stood up and smiled at her kindly. "It's quiet alright, I can understand having frustration with him." Xhy said softly. She tilted her head to the side, and looked awkwardly down at her hands. "I'm not sure you had heard me while you left that time, I'm sorry for my harsh words." Xhy said hoping she could be heard. She quickly looked at the item she had in her hands which was a patch of canvas material. Xhy placed the materials down, then explained to the person who ran the stall she would come another time and buy materials. "I'm sorry you ran across me at such a time, perhaps if you still wish to chat we could take a walk together? It would be rude to stay there and block any others who would need to come and buy materials from them as well." Xhy smiled politely to the male, of whom she didn't really know, and could rarely recall his name. Pointing her hand out to the direction of the street she gestured as she had asked him for to talk a walk with her. She moved a small bit away from the stall, yet staying close enough as she had to Kumori when she offered to talk with him more if he wished, letting new costumers fill her place. Xhy waited to hear his reply, or to see his reaction to her proposal, depending on his answer Xhy would smile and accept the results there of.

“It’s alright… tensions were high that day, so I cannot fault you that day for whatever words you may have said, like you do not fault me for my anger that I showed towards Shaz that day” he said.
Ryuu nodded in return as she suggested they move along and not bother the other customers who were actually here, trying to shop. He would nod in reply. “Of course, why don’t you lead the way,” he said. Following her out of the area of that particular market stall, the found their way walking towards the main area of the town, where people gathered, talked, and hung out. There were several cafes and restaurants there for people to relax and enjoy their time there. “So, have you done anything since that incident? I mean… that particular time must have been pretty brutal. If I remember correctly, you were level 1, then. I hope that incident hasn’t turned you away from going out and progressing.” he said with sincerity. He was concerned for her, as progress was a necessary thing. Movement was a necessity to survive and if one stopped moving, they stopped growing, and so they would no longer have a reason to continue forward. While it wasn’t any of his business, he still did genuinely care about the well-being of others, male or female. His goal was to always keep people progressing through and living this life as their new reality. Not many people were able to deal with the fact that they were now stuck in this reality.
“I know it’s none of my business, but did you deal with the Apocalypse alright? You don’t have to answer if you wish, but… I take interested in seeing how people cope with the current situation,” he said to her.

Xhy Lynn Xhy had lead them to a open area where other adventurers would sit and chat, that had a plethora of small cafes and resturants. "I've leveled a bit here and there from that one time. I haven't much been bothered to stop, because I wouldn't get anywhere other wise, and going places to paint would be difficult too not being able to fight for myself or carry wait in a party." Xhy voiced softly, replying politely to his sincerity towards her. She looked at Kumori and smiled softly to reassure him she was fine and well. "I was a tad shocked, but honestly it doesn't matter too much what my surrounds are, as long as I'm alive really." Xhy looked down, remembering the last time she had told about not being scared of the situation or not caring that things had changed and she was stuck, she had surprised the person. Quickly Xhy trying to make up for any misconceptions spoke hurriedly, "Not that it can be just anywhere, It's probably less stressful because its my hometown, and I still live there, and have always lived here." Xhy shrugged her shoulders trying to act like it was nothing big to her, and looked down away from Kumori with a small bit of nervousness fueling her actions. "Would you like to sit? Would could order a drink as well, while we chat." Xhy swept her hand out, which in the end pointed to a small cafe, what seemed to not be too busy, and have a rather cozy atmosphere around it. Looking at the cafe Xhy suddenly realized there were mostly couple there, stuttering Xhy tried to find different words to express that they could go anywhere and not to the cafe which she had pointed out before them, but her words seemed to stick in her throat un-bulging, and she thus only waited for Kumori's feedback on the offer before him.

“I’m glad you’ve been doing okay,” Ryuu replied with a genuine smile. They continued to walk and she mentioned that this place was her hometown. “Ahh, so you live in London?” he asked. “I do as well, or sort of. I used to go to school there, at the University. I worked while I was still able to, as in, reality, but now, my work is hunting,” he said with a smile and a nod. She then asked if he’d like to sit down. The place she pointed at was a café where most, if not all of the patrons were couples. Ryuu looked at her with surprise, but he didn’t mind. He nodded. “Sure, we can sit there. Drinks are on me, so feel free to order what you wish, and food if you’re hungry,” he said. He was so used to client dinners and outings with people that he didn’t necessarily know as friends or clients, but as prospects and strangers, it was only natural for him to know how to treat someone out and have a good, friendly conversation. He was rather a good, charismatic guy, and he was usually to the point with the people he was meeting.
“I’m glad you don’t see me as hostile like that day, so that in itself is nice to know,” he said, attempting to thank her for not judging him too quickly. He looked at the menu and there were several delectable desserts to choose from, however Ryuu was really only in the mood for tea. He asked the waitress to bring him a Rose Milk Tea, heated, so that he could enjoy the refreshing taste of what he did not have in such a long while.

Xhy Lynn Kumori accepted her offer to sit, but at the cafe that mostly had couples, which flustered Xhy a bit more then when she had pointed out to it, she hoped Kumori didn't get the wrong impression about the cafe, or getting a drink together there. He offered in fact to treat her, which was nice although it worried her, never had she gone out and done anything of the sort, even with just a friend that's a girl. "I only did the early years, through secondary at an actual school. I studied online for Uni, So I guess we are almost the same in a regard. Is it a bit strange to see London like this since you lived here as well?" Xhy, being slightly curious about his opinion on this, asked him. "And also thank you, a drink would be nice." Xhy continued as she looked at the Cafe's menu a bit caught off guard by the many things they had to offer, seeing a drink she's had before and liked she went with that. "Mango juice please, and thank you. Xhy mentioned to the waitress quietly as she had also taken Kumori's order. When hearing that Kumori was relived that she wasn't hostile towards him Xhy nodded her head gently, waiting on her order of the bitter sweet juice that she occasionally had a preference for. Thanking the waitress again as she brought the glass of mango juice to the table, Xhy sat there and sipped quietly waiting for Kumori to speak, and perhaps tell her the thinks she had asked.

The bard asked him an interesting question. Did it seem strange to see London, now like this? Yes, it was strange, but not in the way that it bothered him. It was something welcomed. A city full of people, cars, and lights, coming to a place that seemed dystopian but in reality was paradise. He could now enjoy life instead of fighting for survival against others in the financial industry, he was able to relax, he was able to enjoy life and live the life he enjoyed imagining in his mind and playing out in his games. This was more paradise, even though he did not take it well upon first learning about it. “ Strange? Yes, but relaxing,” he said smiling towards her. What it felt to work day-in and day-out and what it felt like to do something you actually loved, something that had action, adventure, and most importantly, having fun with friends. “I’m not sure if that’s weird or not, but I sort of like it… this environment… it’s less busy, you know?” he said.
The waitress brought them their drinks and Ryuu thanked her and his eyes shifted back to Xhy. “I know you’ve been faring pretty well, but I was wondering if you would join my guild? My goal is to help those like you, low in level, to grow quickly. If you wish to join, my guild members and I can help you grow to become stronger. I know this is sudden, but I figured you may be interested. Jojo has joined as well, and I think you’ll find it a place full of people that are willing to help each other out and the community. I know it’s a big decision to make, so if you aren’t ready to make your decision yet, you don’t have to,” he said explaining to Xhy. “As a guild, we will be able to help and provide for each other, as well as having a family, here in this new world. I won’t try to do something underhanded. If you do not want to join, I will not force you, but just remember that the invitation is always there.” he said.
“If you have any questions about what I want to do with this guild and what we can become, then ask away. I have no problems divulging information of my guild…” he said to ensure that questions were not only welcome, but encouraged.

Xhy Lynn Xhy pondered over his answer to her question and nodded, allowing him to talk more, while she stayed silent and sipped at her drink. "Guild?" Kumori asked her to join his guild, but people were troublesome. I mean Jojo was her good friend, and Kumori wasn't too bad, but other people could pose a problem for her, seeing as she didn't like being around so many people, especially if they are loud. Xhy hesitantly asked, after Kumori said she could have questions, "Would I have to talk with everyone?" Xhy's face shown nervously, not really wanting to join if she had to be sucked into a world where she couldn't escape from people at every turn. Xhy looked into her drink gazing at the warm orange colour, while waiting for Kumori's response. Xhy wouldn't mind being with Jojo, and Kumori didn't make her too nervous. Although she didn't know if he had any intentions towards her. He didn't seem forwards, but he was also kind enough to not push her. She looked to him then back down to her drink, hoping he didn't think her to be shy. Although she might come across that way. Really she just wanted to walk, get away from the topic of guilds, other people would make her too caught up in this world, not that it was a bad world but it isn't the real world. Like this body might be replicated like her one back home but it isn't it has different limits as apposed to her one back home. "People are bothersome though. They are loud and leave others behind." Xhy whispered to herself, hoping that Kumori couldn't hear it, thinking that she might hate him, although she doesn't.

Her question was what surprised him. What he expected was more along the lines of ‘what benefits would she have for joining,’ but she asked if she had to talk with anyone. He chuckled trying to figure out what to say. “No, no, no, it’s not necessary for you to talk with everyone, but I do hope that you’ll be able to treat them like family and speak to them on your own volition, something I’ll have to help one of the members do,” he said as he smiled. “Sorry, I’m wandering in my thoughts again. You remind me of my friend… the one I’ve been keeping out of trouble because her inability to speak her mind at times. She doesn’t like to talk, so I think you’ll get along fine with her…” he said to her. It was evident that girl didn’t speak much. His impression was that she was just a very quiet person who did not speak unless she needed to. He knew several people, both in this world and in the real world who were just like her. Often times they would be pushed around because of their unwillingness to speak up, however Ryuu always felt that protecting these type of people was much more important. He wanted her to join, but as much as he wanted, he knew he could not force her. It was not like him to do so, and it would not be a family if he did so.
She whispered something to herself. He missed the first part, but the second part he caught. “They are loud and leave others behind,” was what she said, “I wouldn’t allow that to happen,” he reassured her. “This sort of reminds me of a movie, but Family means that no one gets left behind,” he decided after saying that, he’d change the subject sensing that she wanted to get away from the topic. He brought up her subclass that he found her shopping for.
“So, you’re an artisan… what kind of things do you do as an artisan? I never really had a hand for drawing, but I do know a beautiful thing when I see one,” he said to her. “I’m a tailor, so I usually craft things for people to use, like armor and cloaks,” he said trying to initiate the conversation of the sudden change in topic. He did not want the girl in front of him to feel obligated to answer him now. It was a common courtesy that he extended to those he invited to the guild Should they be interested but unsure at that moment, he would say that they did not need to answer him now. It was a way of saying “you have your choices and I respect that.” He was a businessman after all, and without perspective and honesty, he would have a business only as good as the lies they were built upon.

Xhy Lynn Kumori had heard the last part of Xhy's muttering, which made her blush as he all of a sudden started sounding like a prince to Xhy, which was nice for a change of pace considering the only other male she had met was Shaz who wan't even an a pleb in her opinion. She had been left alone by others for a long time, and hadn't had many friends so to be sworn not to be left behind and be like family it was enough to make Xhy blush more. "Sounds good." Xhy said, not saying more, til Kumori asked about her being an artisan. "I'm only an artist in here, other then that I can't draw much better then anyone else. I'm primarily interested in music and dance. I can only play left handed due to my left hand being broken at the time I was learning so I had to finger with my right. Dance came later and is a side thing." Xhy looked at Kumori who seemed to be interested in the words she said, which not many were, they were polite around her, but he seemed genuine. Xhy looked back to her drink, and took a sip placing the cup down. Xhy hummed small note before singing, "Music is the one thing that kept me from letting myself disappear in the world of regularity. I play to put myself into a world that allows me to sleep at night, that lets me breath a different air. One that will give me the strength to rest my hand next to yours. Hmmm, Let us get closer, I want to show this world to you. I will let you see it through my words, even if I can't much talk right now." Xhy looked at Kumori, she smiled lightly hoping Kumori didn't take it literally. "Words are more of a challenge for me to come up with. Its a song though, one which I wrote right before I got rejected by the one guy I had liked. I could have played it instead but I thought you might like the words better." Xhy looked back down to her drink, waiting for a reaction from the male across the table that she was aware of.

She smiled and blushed at his statement about not leaving anyone behind. He smiled back. She then answered his question about her being an artisan. He was surprised to find out that she did not draw in real life. While it was true he did not tailor in real life, he took it because it suited his needs as an Assassin. Artisans gained a bonus in fighting rock-type monsters, which was a very selective field. It was true, people chose their classes on their own, and for good reason. Ryuu was not one to judge about another’s choice of class, so he smiled and continued to listen.
What did surprise him, though was her next set of words and how she said them. She hummed a note and then began singing verse from a song. It was as if she was throwing herself at him. He made a confused look at her, wondering if he had sent signals that weren’t meant to be, or if she was simply coming on to him and decided to change her tactics, but she soon dispelled that when she said it was a song written when she was heartbroken. He smiled at her and nodded. “Beautiful words, beautiful words indeed. I sang as well, at least when I had the time to. I play the violin, but your music is definitely something I enjoy listening to. When popular music is ridden with sex, drugs, and all the like, it’s nice to come back to something a little more close to home,” he said to her. He then began to sing a song he loved and cherished: “One, it’s like a dream come true. Two, just wanna be with you. Three, girl it’s plain to see, that you’re the only one for me and. 4, repeat steps one through three. Five, make you fall in love with me. If ever I believe my work is done, then I’ll start back at one..”

Xhy Lynn Xhy listened to Kumori's voice, thinking of how nice it sounded, not rough, but plenty of tone. Xhy then thought back to the original music artist that had made it. "Bryan Mcknight, Back to One, what a nice song to sing. Lovely. As well, your voice is v-very nice too." Xhy stopped herself from blushing by looking down at her drink clutched in her hands, imagining the guy who had rejected her to help her from feeling close to the guy in front of her, after all no one should be interested in a girl with nothing to show the world, or with no real personality. She then set her face back to its normal state with a small breath in and out, forcing a calm and rational look in her eyes, Xhy stated. "I thank you for your offer, its kind, but I don't think you would want me in your guild really." Xhy smiles politely. "Perhaps you should sing more though, you do have a nice voice after all. Its a shame you didn't get a chance to sing more before you came here. Because musicians aren't terribly needed now, so my skills as a bard go nothing beyond what skills I possess to offer to a party." Xhy quickly drank the last of the mango juice before her in the cup she held, she thanked him for the drink with a small smile and a nod before then attempting to stand up and to leave kumori at the table, almost hoping he's prove her wrong on her last point and offer his hand once again to join her guild, if not then she would stay alone.

“Ahh, you know it,” he said satisfied, “I’m glad I didn’t butcher it.” He took a sip of his rose milk tea and then smiled at the compliment. “Thank you for the compliment, but I only sing on occasion,” he thanked her, but after he noticed that she had looked down, avoiding his eyes. It seemed like there was something, but he didn’t pursue it by asking a question. Instead he waited for her to continue. She said that she didn’t feel like he wanted her in the guild. “What?” he asked in disbelief, “If I didn’t want you, I wouldn’t have asked you… and bards are always useful. Each and every class in this game has a use, and a bard is useful in supporting other chracters so that they won’t be hurt,” he said to her trying to correct her misconception. “It is because we use the party system immensely that you are much more appreciated, Xhy… Don’t look down on yourself. Everyone has a purpose, and you do as well. If it’s not with me, it’ll be with someone else, but don’t ever say you aren’t needed,” he said to her, his expression showing seriousness and concern.
“You are wanted in my guild, Xhy, and I will not let you go thinking that you are not wanted. I will only let you go if you want to join someone else or do not wish to join for other reasons, but not because you’re not wanted. There are very few people I invite to my family, and you, I have chosen you to come and become a family member,” he said to her.

Xhy Lynn Xhy turned to look directly at him, once he had said the things about being wanted and needed, trying to lock her eyes with his. Kumori had said he chose her, which was a shock no one ever chose her, not just for a simple guild but to be a family. Xhy, shocked, had replied obviously shaken from his strong words to her, "Family? C-chose? Me?" Xhy pointed to herself in doubt, seeming to let the words about looking down on herself sink in, while she continued to look at him, her eyes almost questioning his, she thought she had been truthful of what she thought, most bard were only good for support nothing else, songs could be great later no now not for her. Xhy took a long moment of looking at him, trying to see if he was joking around, or if he would reject her from even being near him; before slowly nodding, at first to herself and then towards him showing that she's thought it over. "I will join." Xhy said softly. She looked away from him at last hoping that he would hear her quiet words that she had said in honest, which almost scared her. Xhy took a breath and offered her hand to shake his. "Lets shake hands on it then." Xhy waited on him to either grab her hand to shake or not. Once he had done either she would step back and wait for a request to display in front of her from him.

Ryuu nodded at her question. “Family chose you,” he repeated to her. He barely heard, but he hard it. The word “I will” escaped from her mouth and he smiled. “I’m glad, I’m glad. You’re part of my family… no, our family,” he said as he extended his hand to shake hers. He quickly moved through the menus to his guild menu and added Xhy Lynn into the guild. His guild was getting bigger and bigger, and Ryuu couldn’t help but smile at the situation, especially for Xhy who seemed lonely at the core. He hoped to give her some place to call him, and she would be able to have happiness while they were in a purgatory that was unexplainable. His goal was to give a home to those who were lost. “Welcome,” he smiled after she accepted his invitation.
