I GET ALONG WITH THE VOICES INSIDE OF MY HEAD
Weegee walked back into town, after spending some time off in the wilderness by himself. It was a miracle he hadn't died several times and found himself back here during his travel, though being able to jump around like a crazed lunatic seemed to help his case. He sighed as he looked upon the buildings, still covered from top to bottom with foliage. It was kind of nice to see things this way, though he could tell there had been some construction work started and a great deal of cleaning as well. It was even more nice that people could actually get along despite their circumstances.
His reason for coming back was the message of the Guild being founded in his absence, so he figured he'd make the month long trek back from his solitary confines in the deep forests. He wondered just where they might have set up shop, since he hadn't heard from them for a long time. However, he would make his way down to where the Markets were, picking up a handful of fruit to sate his angered stomach. Leaning against a nearby tree, he would settle himself down with the fruit as he tried to think of what to do now. "Well, first things first would be to find any other members of the Guild. Guess I'll have to start doing my old routine again, huh?"

Loud sobs rocked the stable. "He just grabbed my udder! Did he consult me?! NO! He-he… he touched me! It was so cold and impersonal! And then he just… neepING WALTZES OFF. With the milk I need to feed my child - in a dirty bucket. It's not enough that he had to sully my pride and sense of being, but now he's doing Gaea knows what with my breast milk! The perversion frightens me."
Capsule patted and consoled the sobbing cow. "It's okay, Bessie. He can't hurt you anymore." The pig in the adjacent stall shook his head in sympathy. He knew all too well the difficulties of farm life, having lost countless brothers and sisters to slaughter. It was only a matter of time before he went out like them. He too was comforted by Capsule, who coaxed the tears he had been holding within himself out into a manly stream. That was okay, though. This was a day for healing. There were still the chickens for her to handle after this. "Come now, Bess. Just remember - four legs good, two legs bad."
Bessie's head trembled as she nodded. "Y-yes. F-four legs good, two legs bad…" The cow turned her head away to blow her nose into a burlap bag provided by the Enchanter. "Th-thank you, Capsule."
"Don’t mention it~." This was a wonderful way to train her Animal Trainer subclass, so she truly did not mind speaking with the farm animals, although the chickens were a little too… hyperactive? Fiver kept being shooed away for "eavesdropping," regardless of the fact that the birds had little of importance to say.
"Took our eggs, they did! Just riiight from under us!" "Sure they weren't fertilized, but do we get compensation for spouting eggs from our backsides?! NO!" It got so bad that Capsule could not tell them apart. "-And there's only one rooster. One! There's no variety in mates. I don't want to share with the other gals! There's no telling where they've been-"
Capsule waved the chickens off. "One at a time, ladies! Please." That only seemed to encourage them, and had it not been for Fiver, they would have stayed around and continued to harass the Animal Trainer. In hindsight, she was rather glad to have left the chickens for last, as she now found herself growing weary of the farm altogether. 'I could use a bath,' she thought after giving herself a good sniff. She smelled like a farmer and had bits of hay, wool and feathers stuck to the starter armor she wore to avoid dirtying her standard gear.
She dusted herself off as well as she could, and with some permission from the farmer's wife, took a brief bath and donned her superior cloth armor, Fallende Alptraum. Her cloak, Evanescence, was left unequipped. The weather outside was a little too warm for it, though that did not stop her from tying her squid plush around her shoulders. She gently tapped the two large tentacles knotted together at her chest, and waved for Fiver to follow. The rabbit, who had busied himself by rooting around a flower patch, came running over. "What are we going to do now, Capsule?"
"Go home, I guess." She had nothing better to do today - hell, she may even take the rest of the day off to relax. Fiver muttered something in agreement, and briefly rubbed against her shins. "It's a good day to be alive, isn't it?"
"I guess. It doesn't matter much to me, though. I live each day like it's my last." Fiver hopped with ease near Capsule's ankles, who was taking short, easy strides for once. She was in no hurry to head home, and would more than likely end up wandering around for an hour or two before they got there. This fact was evident by her lapsing into a daydream as she entered the city. The woman almost mistook a familiar face for a ghost - the ghost of a guild member.
’…Weegee?’ How long had it been since she last seen the man? It felt like months. Where had he poofed off to all this time? ’Perhaps I really am just dreaming…’ Maybe people really could die in this game, which would indeed make Weegee an apparition. She paused, her dreamy expression replaced with one of doubt. Come to think of it, other than Shira, she had not seen any of her other guild members. Indy went AWOL after handing the role of guild leader over to her, she’d lost contact with Adler, and there was nothing different to say of the others. It was almost like she’d been abandoned, but still held onto the hope that the gang would reassemble someday. ’Could today be…’
She narrowed her eyes at the figure of the man before her. ”Weegee, is that really you…?”

I GET ALONG WITH THE VOICES INSIDE OF MY HEAD
It was a calm day for once in the market area, not many people were wandering around as when he last left the city. It was kind of sad, but he guessed that either death had become an actual thing, or people were simply off adventuring like he had been. He was just about to leap into a tree for a better view when a voice caught his attention. Looking around, his eyes finally landed on a familiar sight, Capsule. With a wave and smile he walked over, before grabbing her into a hug. "Well I'll be! Capsule, you didn't forget me." He chuckled as he let go, looking over her new attire with a whistle. "You've been busy I see. Love the new equips, they make mine look all old and rustic."
He would look over his own cloth armor, though fancy it was a little threadbare at the ends now due to him never removing it, though somehow its white color still shone brightly in the sun. "Sorry for just, well, disappearing on everyone. I thought I had left a note, but I went looking for a good place to build my house. I ended up traveling around for a few months at least, but I did it. Found myself this simply massive tree on an island all by itself. Sad part is I need to clear out a nest of monsters to claim it, just a hive of Hornet Soldiers. They are the only things that spawn on the island, and I noticed they actually spawn from an actual hive structure. I planned to return here to gather some resources before I went off to claim the place for building." He rubbed the back of his head as he laughed. "Also figured I'd ask our friends, and let them know I didn't die from the massive panic attack I had last time you all saw me. Speaking of the others, how have they been since I left?"

The man she saw was no apparition or doppelganger - what the hell is he doing? If back flipping away was an option, Capsule would have done so immediately, and may have even thrown in a few somersaults or cartwheels while she was at it. Physical contact was bluuh. She let her arms hang stiffly by her sides as she endured the impromptu hug. What was with some people and unnecessary touching? "Who is this guy?!" She had almost forgotten about Fiver. This was the Frenmic Rabbit's first time meeting any of her guild mates. He was poised to attack, a low growl coming from his snarling lips.
"Fiver, no. He's a… friend."
The rabbit did not change positions, but he at least stopped growling. "Are you sure?"
"Yes." Thank goodness for her toggled on Tongue of Nature skill. Telling a monster to calm down would have been harder without the ability to communicate directly with it. 'Oh sweet baby Jesus the hug is over.' She hopped back the instant she realized it, almost treading on Fiver's paw in the process. "Uh, and thanks." She tugged self-consciously at her cloth armor. It was all still levels below her actual level, which she was somewhat displeased by, but then again she was no tank or DPS fighter. Her position was away from the mobs, not close to them. Being a little squishy was something she could afford to be. "And yours are uh…" ...Did he not wash or take proper care of his armor? She had had hers for months now, and they were still in tip top shape. "As you said." This was starting to get a bit awkward.
She tucked her hands into her pockets to keep them preoccupied whilst Weegee explained himself. Fiver, on the other hand, was finally calming down, and placed himself near her boots. It seemed he did not trust the Monk yet, and was well within his rights to feel that way. The rabbit was generally wary of most men, especially those who were familiar with his mistress. "Oh, so that's where you poofed off to." Now she knew what happened to Weegee, at least. She only wished she could say the same of the others. "That sounds… interesting. The tree, I mean, not the hornets." She had not had the misfortune of handling hornets yet, but if they were anything like real hornets… 'I bet these are bigger, too.' A treehouse, though - that sounded greater than the commandeered hovel she was still squatting in. She seriously had to find something better to live in, now that she had the funds to afford better housing.
"I would be glad to help out, but other than Shira, I honestly have no idea what became of the others." She wasn't sure when she'd lost track of them, but it was sometime around when Weegee himself went missing. "I can't even speak for our guild leader - well, former guild leader? I offered to take responsibility for him, but after that I don't know what…" Knowing Indy, he was out exploring and combing the land for treasure, or so she liked to think. He wasn't dead; he still showed up on her friends list, after all. He was just AWOL, like Adler, Eadon, Vayne and the others. ”To be honest, I kind of expected the guild to disband from lack of membership. I think the only thing that kept me around was the lack of interest in others, despite partying up with members of another guild pretty frequently.” That guild offered nothing new, though. It was the standard combat guild, unlike Avarice, which focused more on treasure hunting. Unusual guilds or those with less common interests were what caught Capsule’s attention.

I GET ALONG WITH THE VOICES INSIDE OF MY HEAD
Weegee nodded as Capsule spoke. "Yeah, being stuck in a tree away from some monsters made it hard to really take care of my armor. I plan on going to get it cleaned and repaired today as well as pick up materials for when I can get that tree cleaned out." He really didn't pay much attention to the growl of the rabbit at Capsule's feet, mainly cause he really didn't really notice who she was talking to. "I'd really appreciate the help Cap, but you're kidding right, everyone else disappears after I do?" His face was contorted in slight confusion as he looked at her. He couldn't believe that their group of friends would simply vanish like that, leaving the guild completely empty save for Capsule and now himself.
"That's, well hard to believe, save for Indy, I figured he'd be out looking for treasure like we made the Guild for. But Adler? I can't even imagine her leaving her shop unattended." Weegee sighed and sat down against the tree. He rubbed his head gently as he thought. "Well, I don't have any reason to believe you're lying, but it just has me worried now." With another sigh he hopped to his feet and discarded his worried look for a slight smile. "Well, aside from that, what kind of housing did we get for the Guild? Sorry I wasn't there to help out with it if you all built it yourselves." He was quite interested in the choice of housing they might have decided upon in his absence. He probably wouldn't make too much use of it himself, but hey, it didn't hurt to be able to make it there for Guild Meetings if they could get the group back together again.

Honestly, a little washing and airing out would have done him some good – unless he was the sort to wear the same thing all day, the very idea of which made her skin crawl. Capsule was by no means a slob. She washed her clothing when she could, and always hung her armor up to sleep. Her old starter gear was essentially her pajama set for the moment, and was sometimes used for when she needed to get dirty, like hanging out at the farm. This was still largely a game in many ways, but she tried to act as human as she did in the real world.
She lightly shook her head to interrupt him when he began to speak. ”Like I said, there’s still Shira, and I think he may have found a new recruit.” Or two. The first was an Enchanter she had met a few months ago, during a rough patch she had gotten herself in, and the other was someone likely invited into the guild by another member, much like Adler to Eadon. ”But yeah. Indy was understandable, but I’m kind of worried about Adler. I guess people just drift apart, you know?” That’s just the way it was with some people, but sometimes they came back. Maybe after Indy cleared his head or found something neat, he would return. The same could be said about Adler and the rest.
”As for guild housing… I’m not too sure about that one. I checked and there was no documentation or sign of us having one, but you know. If anyone has talked about it or came up with any concrete ideas, I cannot say for sure.” She gave a light shrug of her shoulders for emphasis. ”I will say that, for a guild like ours that is focused on gathering treasure, we should probably stick to something that is out of the way of most Adventurers. The guild housing preview mentioned fields, caves, and even an underground area here in London, but some of them obviously are not available yet. The ones I have in mind are also rather dangerous, given their locations, but for the animal trainers and high levels of the guild, that should not be an issue – provided the monsters are relatively weak, anyway."
Capsule personally had her eyes set on an underground guild house. She was no mole or Mole (that oddly dirty Cleric who was apparently an Artisan and perhaps a Fisherman), but she had stumbled upon a sort of underground network months ago. It was more of a sewer than a true underground, but the tunnels and labyrinth provided excited her in a way. With a guild house built underground and only accessible via hidden passageways or tunnels, detection could hardly be a problem for them, and would make traveling around the city so much easier – not to mention the opportunity to pop up in places they ought not to be. ”But that’s a discussion best suited for another time, when we can get a hold of the other members.”
Guild houses also cost money, like real estate outside of the game. “Level 0” was free for every guild and only came with the barest of essentials, like bathrooms. Capsule felt that there were enough members for them to nab at least the second level, but she would be damned if she would pay for the upgrades with only her money. This had to be a group effort and decision, after all.

I GET ALONG WITH THE VOICES INSIDE OF MY HEAD
Even with her scrutiny on his visage, Capsule would easily have noticed that even though his clothes were a little worn and dirty, he himself was still as clean as one could be from having just came from a forest. His face, ears and tail were especially clean, due to the sensitivity they allotted him. Though, Weegee blinked as a few words came from Capsule's mouth that he simply hadn't guessed yet. "Capsule's a guy? Huh... well, guess he never had the chance to correct any of us, aside from letting you know." He rubbed his eyes and nodded as he listened to her information on the Guild housing. He did agree that they would need at least another person to agree on any decisions made for the guild, but their options were what interested him most.
"Well, I'd be interested in anything as long as it has some kind of charm to it. Running water, something to climb, anything like that. Part of why I'll be turning that tree into a home soon. If we're open to ideas I came across various places in my travels that are both out of the way and fantastical in locale." He tapped his chin as he remembered how he got to his soon-to-be home that he called the "Iifa Tree". "There's the waterfall caverns close to where the Forest and Marshlands meet. There's the Twisted Grove, a maze-like collection of trees that took me four days to navigate, though it would really take some clearing out. A few trees like the one I found, though similar problems of hives, a place I called the Korenka Cliffs, which is a sheer rock face with several caverns, and creatures inside of it. And I'm sure I could find more if we wanted, but those are the first that come to mind. And funny enough, I still know how to get there from here." He chuckled lightly after he finished.
"Gotta admit, I doubt any guild other than Avarice would fit someone like me. Besides, got me some good friends out of the deal too. Oh, right!" He clapped his hands together and looked back at Capsule. "Did we need any funds for the Guild house? I came across a nice deal of money during my travels that I could put towards it. Like I really have any other use for it as it were." He smiled broadly as he rubbed his hands together like some old merchant who was trying to make a deal.

'Why does he think I'm a guy, and is he talking to me or…?' She wasn't even trying to look like a guy today (which mattered little in the grand scheme of things; her gender was often questionable with or without her intention). Unless he was talking about Shira - had she said he or she, and what would make her say the former, rather than the latter? Capsule looked to Fiver for advice, but she lacked the telepathic bond necessary to communicate with the animal without speech. Perhaps it was a subconscious mishap. There was something curious about Shira, after all…
That jumble of thoughts would have to be sorted out later. Weegee was going on about a few areas he had scoped out while traveling, each one sounding more dangerous than the last. The waterfall caverns sounded more like a treasure cache or vacation area (which would be nice to spend days swimming around), the Twisted Grove would make for a lovely parkour spot (at the risk of encountering swarms of hornets), and the Korenka Cliffs could be a pain to clear. Capsule wasn't too fond of camping out in cliffs, either. She would rather take her chance with the trees or metropolitan areas. "So you've been to Sarum, then? If you've seen caverns, I mean. The Old Quarry Caverns sounds like an obvious place for them." That was where she would check if she wanted a cavern or two to scout out. She had encountered few caves while travelling elsewhere, after all. "Not that it's a pressing matter, or anything."
Capsule's mind slipped to guild housing costs, which was a topic Weegee shared, for he asked about the guild's financial situation. "Hmm, funds… Well, before he left, Indy gave me roughly five thousand gold to go towards the guild, and Shira offered as well. I have some to add into the pot, of course." She neglected to go into detail over the amount of coin in her bank stash, feeling it was dangerous to admit something like that out in the open, where unwanted ears lied. "If everyone can put in at least five thousand gold, we should be able to have enough for at least a level one guild house, and perhaps level two if someone else pitches in. Judging by the listed guild housing preview, the highest level we can buy right off the bat is only level two, since the others require special "quests" or something before they're available for purchase." Frankly, Capsule was far more interested in special housing, of which no word had yet to be given. She would love to buy some nice piece of real estate to claim as her own.
"Whatever you can contribute would be lovely. I should probably go around with a collection plate or something, too - from the current members, I mean." It would be really nice if Adler were around. She had often expressed interest in using her funds to help support the guild in the case of housing be released, and was likely in possession of a lovely little nest egg of her own. Capsule could only guess how large it was nowadays. "We should really scrape together a meeting with the others, too, so that we can go over the finer details and get opinions from all." Avarice wasn't a dictatorship, and she had no intentions of turning it into one. Dictatorships were typically controlled via fear, a trait she simply did not possess. Not to mention that such a ruling would only cause further rifts in the group, and may even prompt a few members to leave the guild. "I'll keep locations in mind, but I won't make a decision without a group vote." That was how democracy worked, right?
