It was a cool mid day evening inside the Londinum Distract, the sun was warm, a cool breeze kissed the cheeks of those who ventured outside, it was a glorious day. As wonderful as this day was Lavinia was kinda sad, everyone was busy today, Balore, Kitty, Takoda and even Lifthrasir. "Well this sucks!" she thinks as strolls through the ruins of what looks like an old park. The kind where children would come and play on slides, swings, overhead bars and so on. There wasn't much left of the playground equipment, the overhead bars were rusted and covered with plants, the same with the metal frames of the swing sets. It was hardly even a shell of its former self from another time, but one could tell it was at one point a park.
As Lavinia walks through the part she is reminded of home, the real world. She never really had friends for long enough to play in a park at a young age but she always dreamed of it. "Well, I guess I can study some." Lavinia whispers as she reaches down and pulls a book out of her inventory. The book has "The Beasts of the Unfounded Kingdom" on the spine and covers a decent portion of the weaker species of monster in the world. It covers everything from locations where its found to elemental strengths and weaknesses. Lavinia 'borrowed' it from a library in town, she assumed it was written by another adventure with the Scholar class like her. She then walks over to a nice tall lush tree that provides plenty of shade to relax underneith it. Finding a comfortable place under the tree Lavinia removes her cloak and folds it up nicely and sets it on the ground and sits down beside it, leaning her back against the tree.
Lavina opens the book to where she had her bookmark placed. She left off on the weaker monsters found in the Savill Flower Grove, some of them shes already encountered in battle, some she hasn't. If she was going to be a competent Scholar, she had to study and learn about the monsters in this world. Reading about them in books and old scrolls was one of the more easier and safer ways of going about this, plus Lavinia just liked to read. Reading page after page Lavinia starts to feel drowsy, the beautiful day is starting to get to her. Before she knew it she was napping against the tree head tilted forward towards her chest. Lavinia looks peaceful and careless as she napped under the tree.

Klide was tired after his midnight hunt. He'd stayed up until about 3:30 in the morning prowling around the Savill Flower Grove, looking for things to hunt. He was tired, and the sun would rise in a couple of hours, and he needed to find a tree to nap in. He walked with some effort, as he had been hit in the back during one of the fights, and wasn't fully healed yet. he found a tree to rest in, and climbed up into its branches, oblivious to the overgrown park he was about to sleep above. He rested on the tree, looking up at the stars as his eyes faded into darkness. Klide awoke several hours later to the sound of something light hitting the ground under him. He looked down to see a girl snoozing with a book on the ground a few inches away from her. She had obviously dropped it as she slept. Klide slide down from his branch noiselessly. He landed about a meter in front of her. He lifted her book up off the ground, placing a small leaf into it's page as a book mark, before closing it and putting it on the ground next to her. Now that he was in front of her, he saw how pretty she was. He was about to walk away towards the busy town when, a few meters away from her, a rustling sound to his right surprised him. Klide saw a bush rustle a few meters away. "Damn, It must be another boar. You boars, I really don't want to deal with you so early in the morning." he thought to himself. Klide drew his swords and charged at the bush. However, a few seconds after drawing his swords, he realized something important "...that's not a boar." He put his swords away and laughed at his own stupidity. Before him the bush rustled again, and out hopped a lone rabbit. It looked up at him, hopped over to a different bush, and disappeared into the shrubbery. Klide sat down thinking "I guess i'll wait until she wakes up, I wouldn't want anymore dangerous bunnies attacking." He smiled to himself again, but he hoped that neither the bush rustling, nor his foot steps or laughter, had woken the girl. He looked up at a few birds in the sky, resting his head on a pole that was jutting up from the ground as he did so. Word Count: 411 Tags: Lavinia

“Wonderful” nyeh… it sure is convenient to encounter a nice place to rest in the middle of city. I don’t have to rush going outside only to find my usual sleeping tree. Besides, even if I am going outside I won’t be able to rest yet, because there will still be many adventurers there hunting the monsters. I spotted some kiddies around, playing on rusted playground. I twitch my sight at their direction, trying to calculate if they will bother my attempt to rest or not. Hmm, so far they still busy playing among themselves, but for safety reason I think I must hide my presence. I jump to nearest obstacle, and hide behind it, looking at the field to see if I can spot a place where I may take a nap blissfully. Hmm, that tree, there is a man resting on it already, so it’s a no. Under it, there is a woman, a girl, wow. I pull my body quickly and lay myself on my back. Thinking, this place, I may rest on this place, but there might be a better place hiding from the sun like under that tree. So, how it will be. Am I need to ask them for better place or should I ask to join them only to take a nap there, which one. Eh, yeah, I don’t want to nap on my current spot because it still exposed to the sun blaze, which will makes it not an option. So, either one I choose, I still need to ask them. Ok.
Wait a minute. There are a tree, a young man, and a girl. Oho… okay, I know where my place. I don’t want to ruin this important moment. So, it’s also not an option to join them in that place? Meh, what should I do to have a decent napping place. Might just try to curl here, curling like there is no tomorrow… row… row… Argh, I can’t stand this sun, how can I sleep in a place this bright. Sigh, there is no other choice, I should ask them directly, for the sake of pleasant napping moment. They are not that far, and I still don’t know if they notice my presence yet. So, I choose my route carefully, jumping from one hiding place to one hiding place, and closing my distance. It’s not long before I am so close to their place. Yeah, this is a nice noon, where the breeze is so good, and the kids are playing around happily. There is a tree, where a girl wander around and meets a young man… and a cat (wide smile).

Not much time passed since Lavinia fell asleep under the tree. She awoke rubbing her eyes sleepily "How long was I asleep?" she whispered as she saw her book and places it on her lap. She looked up and saw that the sun didn't move to far from when she checked last. "Well, that's good at least." she whispered Lavinia didn't really like wasting time napping when she could be improving, but everyone has their lazy days and this was one for her. She then stretched her arms out above her head growling softly as she stretched trying to rid herself of the drowsiness from her nap. Figuring she might as well continue reading Lavinia picks up her book from her lap and finds a leaf in between the pages, right where she was before she fell asleep. The leaf was to neatly placed in the book to have fallen from the tree, it was like a makeshift bookmark "What the... Was someone here?" she thought taking the leaf from the book. Looking around the park at first she doesn't see anyone, then she notices a young man sitting up against a pole watching the birds in the sky. "Was he watching me sleep or maybe watching over me while I asleep?" she thought, the thought of having a guardian watching over her as she slept embarrassed her making her blush slightly. From this distance the young man looked a little older than Lavinia, maybe 18 or so. He looked like his brown hair was messy and Lavinia could make out a weapon on his hip, but she really couldn't tell what kind it was. Maybe a sword or axe. He looked kinda cute, at least from this view point. "'Maybe it was him who out this leaf in my book..." she thought as she looked at him. "Hey were you the one who..." she said to him trailing off the end of her sentence because of a yawn as she held the leaf in her hand, completely unaware that there was more than two of them here. Klide sat against the pole for only a few moments before he heard the whisper of a voice not to far from him. he looked over to see the girl wide awake and red in the face, and she was looking right at him. He was worried that he'd angered her by either closing he book, or by sitting by her whilst she slept, and tensed up, ready to run if she began pelting him with things. however, nothing came sailing in his direction, instead, he noticed that she seemed embarrassed rather then being angry. Klide quickly stood and apologized, giving a slight bow as he did so, just to show that he truly meant it. He explained that he had been up in the tree that night, and when he woke up, she was beneath him. He even went so far as to tell her about the bunny he though was a boar. When Klide was done, he realized that he was very hot in the face, he sat down and grabbed the hilts of both his swords as tightly as he could to relieve some stress. He waited for a response, staring at the ground in silence. He was fairly certain that his story wouldn't be convincing enough, esspecially since he had stuttered between almost every single word. Hmm, I don’t think I can jump in there right now, not when they just started to connect. Meh, why so difficult only to look for a place where I can nap peacefully. I am too drowsy to think about alternative. I don’t even know where on the side of town I am, or am I still inside the town? I don’t know. I flip myself again and look at lander kids that playing around. Yeah, it sure nice playing around under this heat. I thought about something when I look at those kids, like reminiscence about my past life in real world, when I was a kid. I was also like playing around no matter the circumstance. As long as it fun, then me and my bro will play, and we just notice the surrounding only if we have found ourselves getting bored. There is not much difference, really. I can see them as normal kids as usual. Crowding around interesting things, or trying different things together. Playing around like there is no tomorrow. Aside from the strange phenomena in this world that make me able to see their name panel and HP/MP, I can only see them as normal human kids. It’s not like it will give me more ease interacting with them, because I am still not good at handling children even in real world. However, it makes me easier to handle them, because I know how to talk with human. Eh, I don’t mean in socialize thing, just around procedural communication, like if I want them to not bother my nap time, I can communicate it normally like I did with human children.
So, far the communication between two figures under a tree runs smoothly. I don’t see any opening for me to enter the conversation. I mean, I cannot just ruin the atmosphere, and trash things out. Damn, these adult things are way too complicated. I walk around in circle and try to think about any possible solutions, mumbling by myself. In my consciousness, I can still hear faintly about those kids playing when I sigh and come to conclusion. Ah, I may just ask them if I can join. “Watch out…” a flying rock comes from nowhere toward my direction. Meh, a flying rock, what that can do again my… (stumble) “What!” I stumbled upon a buried part of ruin and roll toward two adventurer I’ve peeped before, curling myself all the way to them and then slammed to the tree. Oh no, I don’t think the interception will be this fast. I don’t prepare my heart yet, “um, hello can I sleep join you guys. It looks like a good napping place here” meh, yeah, just stating directly to the purpose to simplify the matter. I take the moment of pause to move to the other side of tree and lay myself on the ground, take a pair of leaves and close my eyes with them.

Watching as the young man as he stood and began to apologize, he then very nervously began telling Lavinia why he was here. Listening to the young mans story it actually made her smile, after he finished explaining Lavinia giggled at him. "Relax..." she said softly to him, if what he said was true Lavinia should be the one apologizing, not him. "Well, I'm sorry for waking you and thank you for marking my place, it was very kind of you." she says smiling to him this is when Lavinia hears the rustle of something behind her. Something fast moved up behind her and smashed into the tree she was under. Startling her Lavinia jumps to her feet and draws her grimoire, anticipating some kind of attack, maybe from a boar or something worse. Looking down at the person, it looked like a werecat, Lavinia hasn't seen a adventure of this race before and she almost mistook it for some kind of monster. Relaxing only after she heard him speak, she places her grimoire back where it belongs. The werecat was looking for a place to nap, werecats looking for a place to nap, just like the real world counter parts made Lavinia chuckle. But she really didn't know what to tell him, she didn't really didn't mind that he napped here. But if her and the young man were going to have a conversation he probably wouldn't be able to sleep. So she decides to let the young man speak before she answered him. NOTE: Claimed Word Count: 255 Tagged: @blazeedge, lukavminaev

Klide felt the heat leave his face a bit after the girl spoke to him, telling him to relax. He was very relieved to see that she wasn't upset with him. He even smiled back at her as she apologized and thanked him for his kindness. Klide was about to introduce himself when he saw a blur behind the girl. He jumped to his feet with his swords already half drawn by the time his feet hit the ground. Klide looked at the figure by the tree. It had the appearance of a Werecat. Klide had seen a few though out the city, though he'd never talked to one. He notices the the girl was also standing, she was in the process of putting, what appeared to be, a book away. He assumed it was a spellbook. Klide looked back at the Werecat as soon as he heard his request. Klide stayed standing and thought for a moment before replying. "if it's alright with her..." he indicated to the girl, felling bad for not knowing her name. "...I don't have a problem with you sleeping here. I was about to head into town anyway. You're welcome to join me if you want." He directed the last sentence at both people. He wasn't sure what he'd do in town, though he did want some breakfast and a walk wouldn't be to bad if he had company. He looked back at the Werecat "If you decide to sleep up in the tree, avoid that branch right there, I got hurt while out hunting last night, so there is some blood on it." He looked down and realized his swords were still in his hands. He quickly slid the blades back into their respective sheaths. Then he waited to hear what the two had to say. Ah did I interfere with his sleeping time? That what I thought when the guy jumped down from the branch. he have the figure of those swordsmen with two one sided eastern swords on him. I can’t help but think he was thorough some fierce battle with something when he mention about the blood. Oh, so my presence really interfering with his resting time. I don’t know how to react with that since I cannot comment anything right now. I raise both or my hands lightly and speak “I think I will just nap there” I point to the root of tree behind it and just walk there, leaving both adventurers alone by themselves. I thought the male adventurer has letting me nap here, and the female adventurer seems like she doesn’t mind about it. Also, my mind has been so heavy these times and don’t want to burden it about anything else. I just want to lay myself on those fresh grass, hiding from the sun. I don’t even think about what will they think about my behavior. I feel too tired for that. “Aaahhhh” I lay myself behind the tree and take a pair of leaves to cover my eyes. The place is not that bad. I can feel my back landed on a soft soil covered with fresh grass. It’s so comfy yet mildly cool, so contrast with the temperature out there. I have close my eyes, so I can just heard what happened. Hmm, is there another person or it’s just in my mind. I don’t want to care about all of that now. I just want to nap. The weather was so good even the sun shone that bright, bringing the heat on the earth surfaces. From this position, I can only see that as scenery among the light breeze and cool grasses. So different when I was hiding there near the kids and thinking my way here. The kids, are they still playing? In this heat? I think I want to warn them and invite them to feel comfy under this tree. But still, I feel like I don’t want to move even the smallest muscles on my body. Who thought these jobs can be so tiring. Maybe, I just overexert myself.
I just relax my head and begin to drown myself in deep dream land. Very deep dream land, far away where the sea floor colored orange, and there are so many habitants around, waving their tails, houses in many shapes that I don’t know, and other creatures. I look at my furry arms in question and then just start swimming, moving my fin and my tails to come closer, closer to them. I wave my arm to greet the habitant around. They notice me, shifting their gaze toward me, smiling like I never seen before, and lick their lips. They produce spoons and knifes from their back while rushing at my direction while shouting “LUNCH!” I swing my upper body upward instinctively. “Holy shi…” the pair of leaves flown from my eyelids and drop not far from where I sit now. I look at both of them miserable eyes, pleading for something… something that may help me in my current condition. I keep looking at them like trying to calculate where they want to move. A sudden growl break the silence, and then I smile wide.

Do you believe in ghosts? Saying that the day was going slow would have made Saber cry on the inside, but it was the truth. The sun hovered in what looked to be the same place for hours and it wasn’t budging. Not an inch, even though it really was. Saber had a lot of time on his hands ever since he came back to London and it was quite obnoxious. When he was traversing the landscape, there was always something to do. Whether that something was fighting a new massive creature of doom, falling into a dungeon or cave for a few hours or days, or discovering a village where he could get information about the world. That kind of life was as interesting as it was deadly because Saber didn’t have a lot of resources at his disposal; but the days had blended together. It was a true experience, and it had taught him much about what he could do as well as what the game had in store for him and others. In addition to that, Saber’s mind had a chance to go through its own personal meltdown.
Without having to deal with any other players on a daily basis, Saber was alone during his time away. This meant contact with other people was limited and the only things that crossed him were wandering monsters. Saber didn’t have to communicate as much and he didn’t have to worry about the wrong person seeing him. That lack of stress on his brain allowed him to let insanity run its course, but in turn it essentially ruined him. After all of those days and those weeks, Saber failed to remember much of the game. He had forgotten friends, foes, locations, and had even managed to lose several items during the times he blacked out. It was almost as if he was starting over as a high level, and it was strange, very strange.
Though, he was getting used to it. During the first two days of his return, Saber had met up with the person who must have brought him information about locations and monsters before he left. After explaining his feeble situation and nearly begging for help, the little informant gladly reminded Saber of the key events which he had forgotten and had also told him a few new tips about the area. London had changed while Saber was gone, and as players increased their levels, they had gone exploring. A few new areas had been sighted, scouted, and were now able to be visited without much fear of being ambushed along the way. In addition, players were able to level quicker because of the higher level enemies in the zones. That was good. That meant that Saber wouldn’t have to either play stupid or hold back anymore because of the players he was with. Still he enjoyed being the “nice guy” or the mentor, even if he wasn’t really suited for it. Being a man willing to slice anyone’s throat to ensure victory wasn’t a very good teacher at times. And yet he was dumb enough to do it.
Although there was one thing about London which Saber was happy that didn’t change; the air. London was bustling with players and was quite a warm place to be even in the middle of the night. Even in the surrounding areas, there was a huge feeling of security with London at a person’s back and gave even timid players some courage to fight. Many adventurers lurked and operated in the close vicinity of the city, so there was almost always help nearby should someone get in trouble. Also, because of there being so many people, a lot of players were comfortable enough to take naps and sleep outside of the walls during the day. At night, Saber wouldn’t have recommended it, but he had done it himself in his lower levels. The reason for this was because of the deadlier monsters which revealed themselves when the moon was out.
At his current level, Saber still probably wouldn’t sleep outside recklessly during the night and day. He had some decent items locked away in his inventory and there was no doubt that a person who was jealous would gladly cut his neck. Sleep in the game of Elder Tale was weird in that sense. Should someone come under attack while resting; the game wouldn’t notify them. Instead, they would lay there dead until either waking on their own or waking when they were transported to the cathedral. Saber had seen plenty of people be killed in their sleep by other players and monsters, and it’s not exactly the best way to die. However, people still enjoyed sleeping outside of the city’s walls and Saber didn’t blame him. He liked the silence.
“Too much to do.” Saber sighed and pushed his fingers against the aged fabric of his lower level cloak, tugging the draping object around his body a little tighter as he trudged on through the town. Morning had come swift and he was tired because of it, but he did indeed have a lot to do today. He had monsters to slay, three dozen quests to complete because of his impatience, and an arsenal to craft; his old weapons were on the verge of falling apart. Due to him having such a to-do list, a nap was out of the question. At least, for now it was. But there was time for a thud, or something of that sort.
Off to Saber’s right, and a little ways off to the side of the path he was walking down, a group of three other players were gathering. Immediately, Saber recognized their stances and actions; one was drawing his swords, another was preparing a spellbook, and the third seemed to be recovering. Saber narrowed his eyes on the trio and then looked around himself in search of any of the game’s Guardian NPCs. Thankfully, they had not appeared in reaction to the aggressive movements, but it seemed more like a close call than anything. Or, or; the players weren’t attacking each other and were either fooling around, or someone had made a mistake and made a new tree friend. It still made Saber sigh as he looked at the trio. Were they new to the game or something? Maybe they didn’t know about the NPCs… Saber didn’t once, and he found himself in a footrace with one of them.
“Might as well.” Turning off his path, Saber decided that he had enough time in his long day for a bit of teaching, or just informing, if it meant saving someone’s life later. Though, seeing him suddenly appear might inspire one of them to attack. The situation seemed a little tense for a few moments, but of course, said tension died away before Saber had taken a few steps. But with those reactions; Saber still didn’t want a stray fireball coming from that spellcaster.
“Oi.” Saber barked, calling out from beneath his mask as he approached the three players. As he did so, one of them began to walk away; the werecat. The other two must have scared it off, but that was fine. If that player was truly curious, then they would return. Saber didn’t shout again until he was within talking range, as shouting strained the lungs and attracted unwanted attention. Staying away from people was something Saber enjoyed and drawing crowds was even more important to him. A handful of people were able to be balanced though, so he sucked it up most of the time.
“I wouldn’t suggest striking another player within the limits of London. You’ll summon the city’s Guardian NPCs and they aren’t exactly nice. Unless you can outrun them, keep your weapons secured. Just a little tip for you two.” As to not sound like a total stand-off type, the man used as friendly of a voice as he could. Due to him not actually speaking to people for a while however, made such a thing difficult. His throat became dry fairly quickly and his voice became raspy, forcing him to clear it once he was done talking.
“…If you guys want to fight something, there are plenty of hunting grounds and wondering souls to whack around outside the gates. Those are much more fun too. Well, at least for me they are.” The Assassin chuckled to himself and stood up tall as he rested his weight onto his heels. After he stopped talking, he paused and eyed the female player for a moment.
“You’re a mage, aren’t you, Miss?” His question was directed at the female player earnestly, and his eyes scanned her being curiously. In his travels, he had not come across many magical users. There were two Enchanters he crossed paths with, and there was that one fox tail he had bested in a library bout, but that was it. It seemed that class was a rarity… and he always wondered why. He had some questions for the little lady about her class, but first…
“Would you two mind joining me for some tea, or lunch? I know a place nearby which sells some good sandwiches and the chef’s wife makes some amazing afternoon drinks. My treat.” As he extended his offer, the Assassin’s eyes drifted up towards the tree where the werecat had decided to ascend. “You as well, pretty kitty.” Saber grinned beneath the cloth covering his mouth and a smooth expression crossed his face. An interesting trio... Were they strangers?

Looking behind her she sees the young man had the same reaction to the werecat as she, as he spoke to the werecat Lavinia didn't disagree. "Sure go ahead." she says to the werecat, but she was curious why he was going into town. "I wouldn't mind going into town." she said to the young man, assuming they were going to go into town Lavinia walked over to the tree scooped up her book and placed it back in her inventory and placed her cloak back around her neck. That is when she heard a voice call out to them, looking in the direction of the voice Lavinia saw another young man walking towards them. Looking over at the young man beside her, maybe he knew this newcomer. "Do you know him?" she asked him, Lavinia didn't know anyone who wore a mask like that. Looking back at the new guy he was finally getting close he was trying to warn them about the Guardian NPC's that keep the peace within the city. He then proceeded to tell them how their are boars and players to 'whack around' outside town. Lavinia already knew about both subjects the newcomer told them about, but she has never actually seem the Guardians before, she didn't really want to either. "Yeah, I know. The werecat startled me. You can never be to careful." Lavinia says softly to the newcomer, the tone of his voice was odd to Lavinia like socializing wasn't his sort of thing. He then asked if she was a mage, this took Lavinia by surprise. She wondered why he wanted to know and why he just didn't use his interface to look for himself. "Yeah, I'm a Summoner, why?" she asks softly, cautiously wondering why the other young man here isn't getting similar treatment. Something about this newcomer, the way he talked or something bothered Lavinia. She didn' trust him right now, it wouldn't be hard to change this however. What the newcomer said next took Lavinia by surprise, he wanted to go back into town for food. "Lunch? Sure why not." she says smiling at the newcomer, hiding the feeling of distrust. However Lavinia wouldn't go with at least the young man from before. "You wanna go?" she softly asks him smiling. NOTE: Claimed Word Count: 381 Tagged: @blazeedge, lukavminaev, Saber

Klide was glad to hear the girl take his offer. He felt like today would be a pretty slow day either way, so he might as well spend it with someone else. Klide was about to offer for the two of them to get heading into town, but he noticed that she was already prepared, having just gone to the tree she had been sleeping against and retrieving her belongings. As she was draping her cloak over her shoulders, Klide heard a voice that he did not recognize. He looked over to see a figure walking towards them, a mask enveloping his face. Klide wasn't sure weather he should draw his weapon, or listen to the strangers words, but before he had a chance to decide, The girl looked over to him and asked if Klide knew the stranger. Klide shook his head. He listened to the newcomer mention Guardian NPC's and Klide realized that he meant them no harm. The girl next to Klide summarized what had happened rather well. Klide could tell that the stranger was forcing a friendly tone, almost as if he was angry about something, or perhaps he was just a normally unkind person? What ever the reason, Klide wasn't sure he trusted the man. The man proceeded to then ask the girl if she was a mage, which confused Klide. He had had the impression that she didn't know the man either. Klide thought to himself "Has he taken an interest in her already"? Then Klide was even more surprised to receive an offer to lunch. The girl seemed to be fine with going, and klide figured he should just go into town on his own, but then the girl asked him directly if he wanted to join her, and his only response was "I'd love to". He walked closer to the man and the girl and introduced himself as Klide, offering his hand to both persons consecutively Word Count: 324 Total Word Count: 411+202+303+324=1258 Tags: Lavinia , lukavminaev , Saber

A calming motherly poke pull me back to reality, or is it similar to an older sister type poke? I don’t know. I just like it, and now just enjoying rubbing my head’s furs again that hand, while closing my eyes. The poke itself somewhat inducing some meanings inside my head. Something like an invitation to sleep. A relaxing finger technique. It’s as calming as the afternoon breeze that usually flown smoothly against my furs when I was resting on my usual tree, following by instrumental voices from nature, embracing the aroma of toxicating love. I feel a strangely electrified with something like tickles all over my nerves, that makes me shiver in excitement. I… I want to be rubbed again. I think, I will get addicted by it.
I didn’t notice the arrival of assassin until he is so close. Seems like he has traveled across the land for long time, or it just my eyes telling me that. Although with that sense, I shouldn’t be too surprised when the assassin suddenly invites us to go somewhere in the city, he is somewhat knowledgeable for the areas here. So, I think I can use this opportunity to explore an area that I may not land my foot before. Also, who want to refuse free drink? I grinned when I thought about it. I still rub my head on the female adventurer’s hand when I heard the assassin explaining the ruling about guard that rather known for players who have played this game before, reminding us to not go to far as clashing our weapons. Wait, are we in danger? I stop rubbing my head when I think about it. If we are in danger, then there may be enemies somewhere. Where is it? where is it? groooaaaaarr…. I jump left and right, engulfing the landscape with my view. I even use my hearing skill capabilities to check if there is some enemies in hiding. But, even though I can spot some enemies around, none of them currently in stance to threaten us. I turn back and looking at them in confusion, and found nothing on their expressions that explain the meaning of those words. And then I caught something… something in their eyes… something on the way they look at me… me? I am the threat? Whaa… however I cannot put it in my voice. Although I want to, and just blatantly express what inside me so they know what I am talking about, but I can’t. I can’t find the right words to express it. These days I spent when trying to normally socialize seems changing me a little in the inside. I am afraid if I choose the wrong words, they would be misunderstood the meaning. I have heard some people said when you joke to your friends they will laugh, but if you use the same joke for stranger then you may be hated. These kind of things I only know recently, and I don’t know how to properly handle it. The past me might just be ‘who cares about those thing, just push and push and push’. But… I can’t do that now. Afraid of losing someone, makes me feel frail.
I keep standing in my distance and looking at them, trying to decide if I will go back to them. Am I… still accepted if I am coming back? Just running at them and go ‘neep the past, I will make myself funny so they will forget the dork me’. If it was the past me, then I might as well do that. Deciding what will be better between the two, I will absolutely choosing to go with them, crossing the reasons and procedures. I will just go, tagging, sneaking, spying, as long as it is still inside the boundary of logic I think I can do that to get my objective done. But… should I do that? I just meet them today and we are still somewhat strangers. Can I just… forcing myself into their world without even noticing about how they feel? Will they accept me? I should… have known the answer, since I am not the past me. I have gone through many things since arrived in this game world, since some of the conditions forcing me to open for socialization. In this new reality, nothing will change if I keep closing myself. Nothing will be improved in me, since I am a character. A game character, with all stats and stuffs, with requirement to solve tricking quests and be smart when fighting monsters, all of that needs info, and to obtain info I need to socialize. There are also some stray wolves like me that have their own problem in socialization, but sometimes we just won’t cope. I think… I am too different. I just don’t get what they think, and they also don’t get what I think, but we still need to socialize. I need to socialize. And three adventurers in front of me may give me that experience. So, all of that, is why I am afraid to loss them right now. So, what should I do? What can I do now to make them accept the now and forget the past me? I thought there will be answers for every questions, and there will be solutions for every problems. I found myself trapped between decisions that I don’t even know where they even headed to. They just like some symbols or puzzles with their strange side for connection, and I can’t seems to find a way to connect them. So, in normal term I should just ignore it and walk away. But, is it the right choice to do that this time? What if they hate me? Should I just apologize? Or should I just tag along like nothing happened?
A sudden growl broke the silence. Meh, that’s right, I am still hungry. “Aaaargh forget it” I just jump toward them and rub my head against the female adventurer’s hand. “May I tag along?” there may be one or two difficulties along the way, but for now I decide, I just follow her.

Do you believe in ghosts? “Tread lightly, dear fellow.” Saber thought the quiet warning to himself as he began to interact with the two strangers, his eyes carefully mulling over their expressions and body language as to determine his next form of action. It didn’t seem like they were going to throw their weapons at him, but it also didn’t seem like they were as comfortable as they were when he watched from a distance. For one, he personally would feel pretty awkward if some random person had walked up to him and started giving out some form of tip or information; it seemed kind of suspicious when people did that and he tended to either ignore it, or put a blade to their throat and ask his own questions. With that in mind, Saber wouldn’t blame the pairing if they said no to him, nor did he say anything about them being so surprised about his being helpful. Saber was quite surprised himself. He probably had just said more words in those few sentences than he had for the past month. Though, he also had been alone for that month and was essentially brain dead, but that was beside the point.
Just speaking those few sentences, however, had proven useful. Saber had not interacted with a lot of people since he found himself opening his eyes that first night when he ended up getting trapped here, so he didn’t exactly have much faith in his communication abilities with other players. Yet, he had spent a lot of time monitoring the activities of other people. He tracked several players in order to find information out about them before selling said information to others who had hired him. That didn’t mean that Saber promoted player killing, but it provided him with a hefty chunk of pocket change. Whether it was right or wrong didn’t matter to Saber. What the buyer did with the provided information was up to them and was none of Saber’s business. In turn, as he did those little odd jobs; Saber had become steadily better at reading the actions of other people. It was not perfect or spot on by no means, but it allowed him to gauge a person’s general attitude a person had towards himself or a situation in general. Their body matched with their facial expression gave him an even better idea. Words and tone helped as well, but he hardly got close enough to his targets for that sort of bonus. Right now, he had that additional bit of information. How he used it would be up to him, but for now he kept things rather stable.
Keeping himself at a bit of a distance from the other players, as they didn’t seem too confident about his presence, Saber kept his questions as simple as they were. Even after the two players in front of him responded, Saber simply nodded as a response at first. Sileas had answered his initial question, most likely reluctantly, and confirmed that she was a mage. There were several subclasses to that, so determining which one she was would smooth Saber’s mind out even further. So far he had come across only a pair of Enchanters, to his current knowledge. Their names and faces were blurred in his mind, so he couldn’t say much beyond that. This new face was one he attempted to burn into his secondary-memory as best as possible. It wasn’t so he could note to make her a friend or force himself to do such a thing, but more of a mental note that he could update his mage counter from two to three.
Turns out, both players before him also seemed willing to go on a lunch trip with him; that was good. Now the only questions Saber had was what he would ask next, or what he would do period. With both saying yes, Saber now had two players before him to both entertain and perform vampire mental actions on. He had expected both to volunteer, but was also unprepared, idiot, so he would have to think quickly. However, there was one thing left before leaving; the werecat. With his eyes focused on the two players in front of him, it seemed like he wasn’t paying much attention to the strange player; it was quite the opposite.
The player, male or female, had been the cause of the ruckus initially and its actions were quite curious. As he spoke and listened to the two before him, his peripheral vision was pinned on the werecat, tracking and tracing its movements in search for any signs of hostile actions. Thankfully it seemed to be more distant and passive than up front and aggressive, which made scouting the player easier. However, it moved about a bit initially, making Saber have to flick his eyes back and forth between the two players in front of him a little more than necessary. He didn’t say it, but the Werecat coming to a standing position was a beautiful thing for the Assassin, so he internally thanked the player for ending its strange movements. Well, until Saber’s ears twitched in response to the sound of a quiet growl in the Werecat’s direction. It was subtle, quiet, and internal; hunger?
“Oh…?” As the other man of the group began to introduce himself, Saber’s eyes detached and switched to the Werecat. Saber’s left hand twitched and his eyes locked onto the man-beast, eyeing it hard as the player hopped over and began its own display of willingness to tag along. Saber smirked beneath his tattered scarf and tucked his nose up against the cloth covering the lower half of his face. He stared at the Werecat for another moment, but then over towards the man who had given his name and extended a friendly hand. Saber hesitated at first, but after a firm return of the hand motion, he nodded.
“I am Saber. It is a pleasure to meet the three of you.” Saber remained still for a few moments, giving each person a chance to either introduce themselves, politely decline the invitation of revelation, or to just turn and burn in the opposite direction. Any of the choices were fine with Saber, as well as any others which a person could have chosen. Either way, the day was not infinite and the sun didn’t seem to be hovering like a blazing demon from hell anymore; it would fall beneath the horizon eventually. By then, Saber wanted to be either on his way with quests, or on his way to a new location. Although he would not rush his time with these players, not one bit. From the looks of their equipment, they weren’t particularly high leveled. However, Saber probably looked like a pathetic homeless man himself, so he wouldn’t put it passed any of them to be around level twenty or even in their thirties.
“Follow me. Should you have any questions for me during our little walk, I will answer them to the best of my ability.” Saber forced a smile beneath his cloth-mask, even though they wouldn’t see it, and turned around on his heels before beginning his steady walk towards the city streets that were nearby. They wouldn’t be going to the busy center of London, but more to the outskirts. One of his favorite tea shops was a lot more secluded than the others, and that was actually a perk to it and added to its business. Hopefully, the three he was bringing with him would enjoy their time there as well.
“The shop isn’t far from here so it won’t take us long, for those of us whom are hungry.” The subtle reference to notify the Werecat of his knowledge of its hunger slipped through his lips with ease, but Saber didn’t look back to give the words any form of direction. He simply let it out loud and clear for everyone to hear, but that was it. Once he finished speaking, Saber tucked his hands into his comfortable cloak and pulled it around his body, shielding and hiding himself from the elements once more.
“Crap. I’m getting hungry too.” Saber’s nose wiggled beneath his scarf; his stomach twisted a little. He released a heavy sigh and shook his head a little. That’s right; he forgot breakfast.

Reaching out and shaking Klide's hand was really the only thing she could do, she wasn't really a hand shaking kind of person. Reaching out towards Saber she offers her hand in greeting to this young man that she doesn't really trust yet, but hes getting there. "I'm Lavinia" she says as her voice trailed off because something furry was rubbing up against her hand. It was the werecat, rubbing up against her hand like a cat from the real world wanting attention, asking if he could come with them "Sure you can." she said smiling hiding that this moment was totally and really awkward for her. As Lavinia followed Saber off to this coffee shop he wants to take them to for lunch. She wondered if he was actually going to take them to some place where they can eat or lead them to some dark ally where he planned to turn on all three of them. He could do it too, pretty easily with the level difference he had on the rest of the group. "So, since we're going to eat. What does everyone plan to get?" she asks softly to the group. Lavinia wasn't really hungry, so maybe she'd get a snack and some tea, she really wasn't sure. "I'm not sure what I'm going to get.. Oh, I wonder if they'll have something with strawberrys in them" she said smiling looking up at the sky. Lavinia could probably live off of dishes that had strawberries in it for the rest of her life and never get sick of them. As they walked Lavinia decided to let the others do the talking, she would listen to them talk or not at all. She would observe each of them and try to learn something about them after all, learning was a part of her being. She thought Klide was just a normal every day guy, she didn't even begin to comprehend the werecat and Saber while still concerning Lavinia was starting to at least relax a bit around him. Klide shook hands with the girl, who introduced herself as Lavinia. He wasn't really familiar with shaking hands, so he hoped his grip wasn't to firm or to flimsy. He'd never had the need to shake hands with anyone prior to now, and he had felt like it was a courtesy even he could extend. He looked down to see the werecat from earlier rubbing against Lavinia's other hand. It was an odd sight, and Klide thought he saw a look of discomfort in her eyes. When the werecat asked if he could join, she kindly permitted him. Klide began to walk along with the others, keeping a watchful eye on the one named Saber. He knew he wasn't at a point where he could stand a change against the man, but he had a feeling that the man had some ulterior motive for inviting them to lunch. As Klide walked, Lavinia asked what everyone was planning to get. Although He was not certain himself, he figured he would get something simple with a cup of tea. Klide simply said "I think I'll just have a cup of tea with something on the side, a sandwich perhaps." He heard Lavinia say she wondered if they had something with strawberries. As she said it, she looked dreamily into the sky, she seemed to be a big fan of strawberries. After that, Klide walked oblivious to the outside world, or maybe there was just no-one talking to bring him back out of his thoughts. His thoughts wandered from "Funny ho strawberries aren't technically a berry." to "I should probably get new equipment eventually." to "there sure are a lot of people walking around town today." He was snapped out of his thoughts when he looked down and saw how uneven the pavement was in this area. He would have to watch his step. He looked over at the others and was about to say something, but something made him hesitated.

It isn’t so much of hassle for tailing three adventurers with closed eyes when I am still sticking to the hand of the lady who pats me. But then, they are moving, the hand where I shove before is leaving. I pout, sitting on the ground for a while, looking at their direction. Then, I manage myself to actually catch up. They are not too far and not moving too fast, so with a couple of dash I arrive near them. I found the girl currently in silence, staring at two other adventurers who currently conversing on each other. Lavina is her name, if I am not mistaken. From the conversation before, I have also heard the name of both adventurers. With it, I now know all of their names. Ah right, I still didn’t introduce myself yet. “I am Lukav” just like that, and I don’t even know if they hear me or not, since I am not directly inside their conversation. I tag along behind them, follow the trail of their footsteps and keep my eyes to surrounding. It’s more like enjoying scenery rather than being cautions. I always like new area, although the scenery is rather same. The place is somewhat different for me, like there is invisible barrier that differentiate from one place to another.
I take my time while tailing them, placing my arms on the back of my head, listening their conversation. I am nodding as Lavina mentions strawberry, keeping note in my head. Not that I like strawberry too. Well, I like foods whether it sweet, salty, or spicy. Even bitter spicy food exist in my village. However, I rather choose salty and spicy over sweet, like I prefer adventurous rather than enjoyable. Because I enjoy adventure more than feeling great after achieving something. Ah yeah, people are different. I cannot judge someone based on taste alone. I keep another note in my mind while nodding. Klide mentioned about his order, which is tea and sandwich. Then I tell mine “meat” not that I am choosy, but since I used to only buy untasteful food, I choose meat for its visual effect. I can take a look at it every time I felt I have lost my imagination and back into tasting usual soggy cracker taste. So, meat good for me, whatever it shapes. I can bite it good.
I close my eyes, as I keep walking on the same direction, enjoying the breeze. I open my right eye faintly and caught Klide looking at me. Maybe just a quick glance, but there is some kind of worry I caught from his eyes. Is there something urgent he want to talk? I close my eye again and think hard about it, but it’s too late. I stumble on a buried rubble with my toe, then slammed to the ground.

Do you believe in ghosts? First off, the sun looked like a giant orange. Second; he wanted to eat that orange. Thirdly, as he thought about it; his mind twisted and contorted that word into sixteen different variations of the word which were all wrong; organe, ogarne, oraneg, granoe, canoli, fruit cup, the light yellow and red looking orb in the sky, that citrus fruit thing, and organes. No, Saber, organes is not how you spell orange or organs. Good try you mentally babbling monkey. However his mind was somewhere along the right track; he wanted food, and everything he was looking at was beginning to look like it. That tree looked like a piece of steak, the building was a giant marshmallow, that person was dressed like a creampuff, and the mud pit looked like chocolate. To his joy; there was no yellow snow. No, Saber, there was no lemonade flavored shaved ice on the ground that you could accidentally eat. Get it together, ya squib. And now, marshmallow is not spelled marshmellow. FOCUS.
“…What are you going on about?” Shut up. I’m hungry and tired. I’ll stab you.
The Assassin wiggled his jaw beneath the scarf and felt oddly discomforted by my statement towards him, but he was okay with it. The man had survived much worse things that I have thrown at him. At the current moment, however, he was dealing with the three players whom were behind and around him. He had interest in two of them, and the third made him feel a little uneasy. Although, to say he didn’t have a question or two for the player was a blatant lie. They three adventurers he had nearly dragged with him had got into a bit of a tussel, from what it looked to be at a distance, but it had been quickly resolved. That had interested him a little but it moreover got his attention. Now there were a few other things on his mind. The one important thing though was lunch.
Saber had missed, or skipped, breakfast and his stomach wanted something to nibble on. He had assumed the other players felt the same, and that was still to be determined. Well, for a few moments or so it was. During the time Saber had derailed his own mind (wasn’t me, I swear), the other three players had begun their own conversation. This conversation was one of foods, obviously, and Saber’s ears twitched beneath his scarf as his attention was once again grabbed. Though, he wished it hadn’t been. The Assassin’s stomach had steadily declined into a state of pure pain and sadness of which he could not currently subdue. It was frightening, painful, and he hated it. Before he walked over to these players, he was fine. Now he was starving to death….
“You complain about things more than I do.” Says the one who is intently listening to the words strawberry, sandwich, and meat.
“There is plenty more at the shop than just tea and fruit, I can assure you this.” Did you just ignore me? OI. I’M TALKING TO YOU.
“The store is fairly large and has its own bakery. They have things like cupcakes, regular cakes, fruit baskets, desserts, and a lot of breakfast-like stuff.” You rat bastard. You’re doing this on purpose aren’t you?
“The tea they have is also quite good. The assortment is fairly wide and the menu is pretty big because of it, but if you have a preference the owner is a very good chef. She was a baker and coffee shop owner in the real world so cooking here is fairly easy for her.” I don’t like you anymore.
“Good. Now shut up.” Saber snipped and casually pointed towards a two story building in the distance. It wasn’t too far, just at the other end of a long street. There also weren’t many players near it or in the way of the path, meaning that the business at the shop was probably quiet. That was good, Saber hated crowded places. Being around people was one thing, but being stuck in a herd was another. What was even better was that the rooftop tables were almost completely vacant. From the current distance, Saber’s eyes strained a little but he could barely make out one or two couples sitting in the outdoor area. That was good, but whether the others wanted to sit there or not was up to them. Saber preferred it, as he enjoyed being outside. That was both because he liked the outdoors and because he had an easy exit should something go bad. It was probably a terrible thing of him to always think of ways out of bad situations, but it had kept him alive so far.
“Now as for meat…” Saber mulled over the menu he had in his mind, carefully flipping through the invisible menu as his memories skipped along. Was there any meat? He had not seen any… The woman he knew didn’t exactly like to handle meat either so there was probably a low chance of there being any. He could have been wrong, however. Yet the shop name “Creamery Fluff” didn’t really strike Saber as a place which had meat on the menu.
“…That I don’t think they have. It is a sort of sweet-food café and coffee shop after all.” The Assassin reached up and scratched at the back of his head for a moment. The werecat, Lukav, had stated meat as a preference. Did any coffee shop sell meat? The man thought long and hard in an attempt to find an answer, but there was none. Nothing he could think of, yet there was another option.
“Lukav, do you have an interest in milkshakes or thick puddings?” In an attempt to find something the werecat would like, Saber’s mind somehow ended up viewing the player as a housecat. And what did housecats like? Milk. Now, the adventurer looked more like a full-grown tiger so he was probably in a whole other playing field. However, it was better than the man finding out there was no meat now rather than later.

As Lavinia walked with the group listening to the very little conversation from the group around them. She wondered if the shop actually had anything with strawberries, even some kind of desert would do. Klide said he wanted some tea and maybe a sandwich. Luka mentioned wanting meat which wasn't a surprised, but Saber mentioned that the place is a coffee shop. They probably wouldn't have any meal with a substantial amount of meat in it, saber only confirmed her thoughts a few moments later. As she walked she looked around at the ruined city and thought how nice it looked, for a ruined city. As Saber described the shop Lavinia looked toward the building he described, a decent sized simple two story building. As they draw closer to the shop, just one street to go according to Saber. As she walks something she hasn't seen before pops up on her interface. The interface window explains she has a call from Kittygrey. "Oh. Hold on a sec." she says to the group as she stops walking, taps her inventory and accepts the call. Lavinia knew Kitty pretty well by now. She was almost her big sister at this point and the fact that she is calling her she assumed it must be important. Placing her index finger and middle finger up to her ear her face looks happy as she has a inaudible conversation with Kitty. A moment passes as her face switchs from its happy expression to a surprised and shocked one. As she finished this telepathic conversation with Kitty she is now suddenly in a rush. "I'm so sorry I'm going to have to take a rain check on lunch." she said looking at the group. "It'll be faster if I teleport." she thought "It was nice meeting you all." she continues opening her interface and finds the Call of Home skill. Tapping it she closes her eyes as her body begins to dissipate into the air, where she will appear at the sanctuary. As she gets is about to vanish complete she speaks one last time, "Good bye.". Klide saw the building not too far ahead, and he liked what he saw. He was especially happy to see how few people were in it, a it meant he wouldn't have to focus on much other than his small group. As they got close to the cafe, Lavinia suddenly stopped and pressed her index finger and middle finder to her ear. She looked happy as she began her inaudible conversation. Very quickly however, her expression changed from happiness to somewhere in between surprise and shock. Klide had been trying to read her lips to decipher the conversation, even though it was an invasion of her privacy, he was just the curious type. She ended her conversation and quickly blurted "I'm so sorry I'm going to have to take a rain check on lunch." She paused for a moment, during which Klide assumed she was thinking of what to say next. She finished by saying "It was nice meeting you all." She then began to vanish, and quickly said "Good bye." Klide looked at the others. He was rather surprised that she left without an explanation, but it had to be important if she left so abruptly. "I have a feeling we'll see each other again, even if it takes some time." He though to himself as he looked up at the sky. He shrugged a bit, looked back at his companions, and said "Well that was unexpected, I hope everything turns out okay." He assumed that both of them would be rather disappointed by her disappearance, seeing as how it seemed she was the most interesting one there. The Saber fellow had been interested with her from the start, focusing his conversation on her when he came to join them back in the park, and the Werecat had lost the hand that had scratched it's head earlier. Klide began to walk again, not sure if he should look back to see if the others were also coming.
