The weapons should be able to have chance of discovery, which can range from a completey failure or a failure which had led to the discovery of a new type of metal type or even a successful weapon that is can be from UnCommon, Rare, legendary, Artifact in the quality table but only the artifacts would scale with the player, here's a rare weapon examble

Description: This whip is made out of broken scales from a scalemail tied together with rings from a chainmail, The whip is around 9 meters long and the tip of the whip is a small spike that is 5 Centimeters long and the diameter is 2centimeters. Each scale is 0,65 Milimeters in width and the length of each is around 1 centimeter.
The owner of the whip can attempt to disarm an opponent that has a visable weapon, the user can also attempt to trip a fleeing opponent and drag him back if he/she's strong enough.

Weapon requires 1x chainmail of common quality, 1x Scalemail of uncommon quality and 5000 gold.

Basically i'm suggesting weapons that have a chance of creation for examble :
Name:
The name of the recipe as well as the item name The format should be "[recipe name / Weapon name], and for examble "Name:
[examble weapon recipe / examble weapon]"
The name of the weapon and the recipe will be the choice of the original discoverer so if he doesn't want to choose it then there can be either an admin that chooses it or a friend or even if the discoverer wishes, he may even give the weapon his own name
Type:
Offensive, Defensive, or Supplementary. Describes the basic usage of the Item. Offensive and Defensive are generally items used in combat situations. Offensive Items being used to attack while Defensive Items are used to defend, obviously. Items that are Supplementary are generally, but not always, non-combat items that have a broader definition of capabilities that do not fit directly into the Offensive or Defensive categories, for examble "jewelry, walking sticks that can be modified, tools and all sorts of crafting equipment" e.t.c.
Range:
The effective range of the item. Simple. Describe as either Short, Mid, Long, or give an exact length in meters. "Self" is also an acceptable range description for items that only effect the user.
The jewelry recipe completely ignores this so if you're making jewelry leaver this blank

The most important part of the submission is the description of the Item itself. The most important parts of the description include what the Item actually does and what it looks like. Pictures are acceptable substitutions for a description of the Item's appearance. In addition to describing the Item's function, you should also include who created the item. If the method of creation of the Item makes little to no sense or if the methods of obtaining it are impossible, your Item will not be accepted.
