Closing his eyes, the Fox Tail activate his hearing aptitude skill, enhancing his hearing ability to let thousand sounds of the surrounding to enter his ears. Raising his hands, he waves it around as if orchestrating the sounds around him. The cool forest breeze as it hits the leaves, the distance soft footsteps of animals on the moist grass, the sounds of birds chirping above him as they passed by. Everything around him reminds him of home and with his eyes still closed; he could see it once more, home. He could see the guest house where he and his family live… and also make a living. He could also see the garden he often spends during his break from the guest house; he would just lay there on the grass, not caring if it was dry or not, he would play an instrumental song on his phone that would match is current mood and surrounding. It was his haven.
He was suddenly snaps back to reality as a sudden loud crack penetrates his quiet orchestra. Frustrated, Mokusu let his hands drop back down to his sides and with eyes still close; he concentrates on the sound, trying to pinpoint the source, hoping to give whatever beast caused the sound a piece of his mind or his whip. It took a while before another crack filled his enhance hearing, mentally noting the general direction; he started to run towards it.
“Well, I think that’ll be enough,” His enhance hearing is starting to pick up voices as he got close to the area. “Fill ‘er up and off we go.” Reaching the source, what lay waiting as a back of a wagon disappear was a field filled with a few fallen trees and burning patches of grass.
‘The sorcerers really overdid themselves.’ Sighing silently, the Fox Tail examine the field for anything left to loot while trying to extinguished some of the flames. Without any luck, he sits down at the fallen tree to listen back to the sounds before realising a floating information button. Clicking on it, it listed out the condition and information of the tree he is sitting on. Forgetting completely about his woodcrafter subclass, Mokusu checked the other fallen trees and again; they too have the information button. Confused, he swipe his hand in front of his to summon the interface to check if he had any special items before remembering about the special subclasses the game offer and while chuckling in his sudden stupidity, he pulled out an axe off his inventory.
‘Guess this is as good time as any to try out crafting.’ Choosing some fine lean tree for him to carry, he began to chopped off its branches and clean off any hazard before attempting to carry it to the nearest road, hoping there would be no wild creature to distract him. With three logs on his back, the Fox Tail summon two Sylph to aid him in carry three other before going towards the road.
Reaching the edge of Londinium, he ordered the Sylph to put the logs beside his own before saying his thanks and desummoning them. Pulling out some tools and setting it beside the logs, he started to work on creating a crafting table, he had aid his father in making a simple round table for the guest house once and with the aid of his memories and with a few trial and error he could eventually make it. Picking up the saw he started to create, and hope for, four sturdy table legs. ----- ----- ----- ----- 594 | Words count Current woodcrafter level when post made: 1 Woo~ crafting post xDD | OCC note

Experimenting with one of the logs and his equipment, he was finally able to craft four sturdy simple table legs – after the disaster of trying to make a curvy fancy leg. Sanding the finish legs of its rough edges, the Fox Tail started to mentally plan out on making the surface of the table. A simple four plank glued together would be simple enough since he’d only need the crafting table for a short while. Sweating as he finishes sanding the last leg under the sun, he summons his Sylph again to help him move the stuff under a tree as he carries the logs to it and under the shades he tried to fashion one of the logs into planks.
Succeeding after a while, he order his Sylph – who had been keeping him company – to stay with the planks and legs as he went off to buy glue. Entering Londinium, it took him quite a while and a few Landers and Adventurers aid to find anyone who sells glue, after a few numbers are being thrown back and forth between the Fox Tail and the Lander shopkeeper – and with also the aid of his merchant subclass – Mokusu was able to deduct 10% off the selling price.
“Nice working with ‘ya,” The shopkeeper said as the Fox Tail was about to exited the shop. “How about ‘ya work for me someday, ay?” Mokusu let out a chuckle and let a ‘maybe’ escape his mouth as he exited. Walking back to his shade and unfinished work, Mokusu desummon his Sylph, who had guarded the items, to let her rest. Taking a deep breath as he sits cross legged onto the grass under the shade of the tree, the woodcrafter started gluing the pieces of the table together. Firstly the surface, which consist of four planks, and after he let the sun dry of the glue, he proceed with the legs. Turning it upside down after the glue dry, he tested it using his body weight, satisfied it doesn’t need any reinforcement. Mokusu started to put the extra planks and his tools on it, planning on his next project. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 357 | Words Count Planks, Glue, Sandpapers | Materials used Current woodcrafter level when post made: Level 1 Meeh~! Grabbing one of the planks and his chisel, the woodcrafter started to carve his to-do list on it, seeing that he is too lazy to go buy a piece of paper and a pen.
“Stuff to make.” He read it out loud, smiling. Tapping his chisel of the piece of wood, he wonders what his next project would be. Frustrated because he can’t think of anything, the woodcrafter crave ‘table’ on the list and crossing it out just to feel the sense of accomplishment. Sighing, the woodcrafter start to tap his chisel again on the wood before realising his sore feet from standing up for too long. “Chairs!” The crafter said to himself, it should have been obvious; tables come often with chairs and vice versa. Carving it to the list, the woodcrafter picked up his list and his chisel off the table before dropping it down next to the roots of the tree just beside the table, the Fox Tail follow suit.
Lying belly down on the grass, a piece of wood in front of his face and a chisel at hand, the Fox Tail carve out the words ‘Weapons’ follow with a question mark beside it. Weapons are needed in this world since the animals found in this world are often vicious to Adventurers and Landers alike, but what weapons can be made out of wood other than bow and crossbow? Sure the woodcrafter can make a simple swords and shields out of wood, but it won’t inflect or sustain that much damaged then those that are made out reinforced metals. “Challenge.” The woodcrafter mumbles, as he carved an asterisk beside the word.
Next on the list he wrote the words ‘Cards’, seeing as he could paint just like an Artisans subclass, he might as well give it a go in making a few cards. Maybe paint his summon creatures on them, the thought of see his Sylph pose for him made him smile. Below cards, he wrote the word piano before scratching it up, all excited, he wrote the words ‘Attempting an Orchestra’ below the scratched piano word and underlined it. Seeing as he is a woodcrafter, Mokusu could actually made most of the instruments, seeing as most of them are wood-based and even though he didn’t have any experience with instruments it wouldn’t hurt to try. He had always love to listen to instrumental music, it is often beautiful than today music of pop and such. Instrumental themselves can hold a lot of meaning to different kind of people and often can enhance a person’s life. He wanted that, he needed that back.
Yawning for the sudden burst of excitement and after a hard day of making the table, the woodcrafter look at his plank to do list: Before putting it in his inventory and closed his eyes to take a quick nap under the shade of the trees he had been under.----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 498 | Word Count 1x plank | Materials Used

“You should never trust naps! Never ever!” His friends once said those words to him and as he woke up, the words rings through his ears as everything around his was covered in the darkness of the night, only lit by the bright shining half-moon and the stars that accompanies her. Rubbing his eyes as he sat up, the Fox Tail looks around the area.
“Lucky.” He mutter to himself, sleeping in an open area near the Greatwoods, the Fox Tail is lucky, some would get or robbed sleeping outside or worst. Stretching his arms and body up as he stand, the woodcrafter saw what seems to be a slime – which upon closer inspection confirmed it – on top of his poorly made table.
Hand on the latch that kept his whip on his hip, the Fox Tail scanning his surrounding for any more of them and after conforming it was all alone, he relaxed and approach the table.
“Hey little fella,” Guessing that the little monster might have sense the magic inside of him, Mokusu offers his hand to the creature. “Hey, hey,” Palm wide open, he waits for the slime to interact with him. “I won’t bite,” Again he waits and yet the gloop just stayed still. “C’mon guy,” Sighing, the Fox Tail retrieve back his hand. “I need to find a place to crash for a bit, can you take care of my table for me?” Nothing. “Yeah, good, I’ll see you in a few hours,” Hands on hip, he wait for a respond. “I’ll be in an inn… or a barn… or somewhat over there,” Pointing at the general direction of south west, “Find me if anything happens, Ok?” He said in a tone as if he’s speaking to a child, the crafter waits again for a respond. When nothing came out of the small creature, the crafter just mumble an ‘OK’ before walking to the direction he was pointing to continue his sleep or just to find shelter.
Just a way along the road, the Fox Tail was able to find a deserted horse stable, the grass was overgrown and a massive portion of the building was corroded due to lack of maintenance and made worse by exposure to the environments. Peeking through the broken door, the dim light of the moon passed through the crack of the roof give the Fox Tail enough visual guidance to manoeuvre inside the stable. Releasing the latch that holds his beginners whip to his hip, he armed himself as he tiptoed into the stable. Inside, there are four box stalls where they once kept the horses, two on the left and two on the right, the floors were covered with hay, aiding in silencing the Fox Tail’s steps as he enter. Three of the stall’s door seems to have fallen off its hinges which made securing the area much easier, inside each stall were only bale of hays, reaching the last stall, the Fox Tail open up his skill menu to turn on his hearing aptitude skill, hoping it’ll help him to sense any movement inside the closed stall. As he toggle it on, the world suddenly come into a silence for a few seconds before once again the sounds return to his ears, this time much more stronger. In an instance after the world went silence, he could hear the howl of the winds, the rustling leafs and the scurry of the small nocturnal animals outside, everything inside was quiet which made it easy for him to concentrate his hearing on a single spot without any distraction.
Holding his breath, he walks until he was only a few feet away from the door, his heart was thumping as he concentrate on the sounds behind the door, excitement and fear made his heart thump harder making it difficult to concentrate. Moving away from the door, he tried to relax himself by taking a few quick quiet breaths to calm his heart down. Succeeding, he once again tried to listen behind the door, blocking the excess sound outside the stable, the Fox Tail concentrate. Quiet, nothing… Whip still on hand, he approached the door, extending his hand the Fox Tail proceed to open the door but stop midway as a rustling sound fill his enhance hearing. Taking a deep breath and with a loud yell, he kick open the door before sending the end of his whip up front to attack the shocked creature. As the whip crack the air inside stall and the sound amplified into his ears due to his enhance hearing, the Fox Tail falls down to the floor in shock and in reflex in knowing something was about to attack him, he raise both his hands to shield himself and close his eyes as he wait for the impact but when nothing happens, he opens his eyes before lowering his hands to look at the stall. Letting out a sigh, he picked himself up before examining the small crack in the stall, turning his hearing aptitude skill off, he brush the hays near the crack with one of his shoe, seeing as that was the source of the sound.
Scanning the stable once more to ensure there is nothing in here with him, the Fox Tail try to fix the entrance so nothing can easily enter as sleep. Walking back to the stall with the working door, he examined it, moving the door back and forth to perhaps one day recreate it. Swiping his hand to open up the user interface, he summons his Carbuncle to give him a little bit more light to see the woodwork and the hinges. Satisfied, he put his Carbuncle on his head to accompany him to examine the woodwork that made the stable and from the floors, to the walls, to the supporting poles in the centre of the room. The woodcrafter finally decided when his Carbuncle’s light started to dimmed as it softly sleep on his head. Collecting the hays on each stall, he made himself a pile of hay to rest on. Yawning, the Fox Tail desummon the light elemental creature and lie down, to get a few more hours of sleep so he could start crafting his list on the early morning. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 1045 | Word Count Longest post I've made, proud of myself. *crie* | OCC Note

Yawning as he stretch his arms and tiptoed on his feet to simultaneously stretch the muscle of legs, the Fox Tail kicked down the makeshift door he created on haste last night to keep any creature from interfering his sleep and seeing as it succeed on doing just that he proceed in kicking it down. The result caused more of the morning light to enter the abandon stable rather than just the light from the tiny holes from the cracked roof. Shielding his eyes from the sudden bright of light, the Fox Tail moved away from the door to let his eyes adjust and seeing as the room was filled with light he decide to explore it again, studying the woodwork – and just like last night – hoping to be able to replicate the stable itself one day.
Stepping out of the stables, the Fox Tail brought out one of the door that had fallen out of it hinges, hoping to use the wood carving as a decoration in his wood work… and realising one would not be enough, the woodcrafter back track to the stable to pick the other two broken doors. After examining that the doors were still fine with a few cracks, he pick up the wooden doors and began his journey back to his table under the tree and hope that the slime that was there did not destroy it.
Mokusu released a sigh of both exhaustion from carrying three broken doors and relief as he still see the table where he left it. Walking a few more steps, he put the doors down beside the table he had crafted and began examining the table surface for any damage the slime may cause. When he found none but slime trails left behind by it, he tested the table’s sturdiness by placing his weight upon it and seeing as it wiggled a little, the woodcrafter crouch down and apply what left of the glue to the four legs table, he might need some nails soon if he decide to keep working on the table. Again the woodcrafter tests it with his weight and when he was convinced that the table did not make any movement it should not do, he proceed on cleaning the slime trail off the surface of the table using is arm. Wiping the slimes off his arms and on his pants, he turns his attention to the doors he brought with him. Picking one up, he placed it on the newly reinforced table and started to examine the wood work.
Whoever crafted it, the Fox Tail compliments their work. He did what his father once did when making one of the inn’s tables, he knock on it. He never know what’s the purpose of knocking on the seeing as he never asked, giving himself a mental slap, the Fox Tail once more know on the door’s surface. The sound the door gave out was deep and hard, he knocks on the table he crafted and it came out light and loud. Still he does not know what the wood was trying to say, other than how hard it is… was it to check for the wood’s quality?
Shaking his head, he let the question go; he might understand it when he is more experience in this woodcrafting business but right now, he want some place to sit when he craft smaller things later in the day. The ground might work, but he might want to use the table too, so no pieces of his work will get lost in the grass. Taking out his saw, he began to saw the stable stall door trying to make the seat and back portion of the chair. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 620 | Word Count Chair, Simple Wooden Furniture | Crafting Attempt

“AHH!” The woodcrafter shout was follow with a few curses in Japanese as some of the sawdust enters his eyes. “Sylph! Sylph!” Hands rubbing his eyes and in the panic, he try to summon his Sylph verbally but to no vail the creature didn’t appeared. Forcing his eyes open, the woodcrafter opens his character interface with a swipe of his hand and activates his Summon Follower – Sylph skill and with teary eyes, he saw the fairy spawn in front of him, unable to hold the pain any longer he shout at the wind fairy. “Eyes! Hurt! Dust!” He said to the confused fairy, looking at her master’s strange behaviour, “HELP!” The word caused the fairy to flown from bottom up of her master, try to figure out what’s wrong. Reaching the summoner’s face, the fairy finally examine his eyes and smile as she blows into it, causing the speck of sawdust to exited the Fox Tail’s eyes and at the same time lifting the pain away from her masters.
The Fox Tail let out a moan and falls down to the grass, relief that the pain had gone away. Hearing a soft laughter of his Sylph as he rest his eyes, he said his thanks and order her to blow out the leftover saw dust from his crafting table. Standing back up, he continued sawing the chair’s back rest but this time instructing his Sylph to sits on his shoulder so she could easily blows out any dust coming his way.
Seeing as he’ll be working with glue, he made the chair’s seat and back rest with some joints so it’ll be just like a puzzle, easy to join together. With the back rest and seat done, what’s left is the chair’s frame; a simple ‘b’ shape frame would suffice. Setting aside the seat and back rest, the woodcrafter picked up the left over planks resting under the tree and placed it on the table. Taking out his chisel, he carved a big lowercase ‘b’ on it and after marking where the holes for the joint should go, the Fox Tail once again picked up his saw. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 357 | Word Count Simple Wooden Chair | Currently Making

The woodcrafter stopped sawing when he realised he had forgotten to measure the height of the chair frame, luckily he start sawing from the bottom. Standing up straight, the Fox Tail measure the frame height with his body while trying to remember how high an average chair should be.
“The seat should locate somewhere half the length of the table,” He mumbles to himself as he grabbed his chisel, he makes the adjustment and marked where the two holes for the seat joint should be. “Now, the back… rest…,” Scratching his head, he tried to figured out how high it should be and with his chisel, the woodcrafter make two marks, one just below his waist and another slightly above. The length should be somewhat from his lower back to his neck… face palming, he realised he could always use his body as reference. With a sigh, he took out his long ruler and starts measuring the height of his body from just below his waist to the neck and marked it at the plank. After he made the adjustment on his craving, he copied it to two other thick planks, and began sawing the lowercase ‘b’ chair frame.
“Done,” Wiping sweat from his forehead, he took out a tool he always wanted to use, a manual drill; a brace. Hand on the U-shaped grip and apply pressure on the top, he began the toughest part of the job, making the holes for the seat and back rest joint and the large hole to separate the legs. Left hand applying the brace pressure on the thick wood, he started to rotate the grip and starting from the top back rest hole, he proceeds to manually drill it.
10 minutes passed, he removed the brace to look at his progress, “It’s not even half way through,” Letting out a sigh, the woodcrafter examined the tool and touches the edge. “Blunt… but sharp enough.” He mumble to himself, his Sylph who is still sitting on his shoulder decide to also examine the tool and as the Sylph float near the tool in his hand, the Fox Tail suddenly have an idea.
Pushing the brace again on the unfinished first hole, he called his Sylph to rotate the grip as fast as she can. Applying pressure with both his hand, the Fox Tail nodded to the wind elemental to start and start she did. The brace start spinning slowly at first but start to catch speed as seconds passed it wasn’t long until the hole was made, blowing through it, he began examining it. Clean, as if it was already sanded. The process was made nine more time with ease and when every hole was done, the Fox Tail started to fit everything together to see if the measurements are correct.
Satisfied, he proceed to sand it and finally glue everything together. Applying pressure to the final product, he order his Sylph to blow the glue dry and after a few minutes, the Fox Tail made the final test by sitting on the finish product. After confirming that the chair will be able to withstand his weight, he took out his crafting list and cross out ‘chair’ off it.

Sitting on the newly made chair, the Fox Tail stretched his back and arms up as he tried to relax in it. Tapping his fingers on the crafting table, the crafter looked at the next item he had to make: Weapons. He hasn’t touch any other weapons other than his own whip, and making a simple wooden sword or shield should be easy enough but he might want to look at the actual weapons before duplicating it on wood. Putting the list down on the table, the Fox Tail lower himself into his chair so his head could rest on its back rest before closing his eyes and just listen to his surroundings.
Hands folded on his chest, he listen to the world without the aid of his hearing aptitude skill, he listen to the winds blowing through the tree he is under in, the quiet chirp of the birds from the distance and whilst taking a deep breath he swear he could hear the clanking of metal against metal. Someone must be fighting in the woods, training no doubt… or possibly… a player killer? He shiver at the thought, he would coward away if he would be fighting against players killer, seeing as his summons creature are currently support-based and with only a whip as a weapon wouldn’t help him in surviving an attack from a player killer. Even if he would command his summons to constantly heal him during the fight, he doubt his mana would be enough to retain their form in this world and even if he could, their summons would be the first ones to be attack, making him – a summoner – utterly defenceless. Solo players are often the main meat to player killers, the thought caused him to turn his head to look around and inspect his surroundings. Just because adventurers would get revived back at the cathedral, that doesn’t mean it won’t be a painful experience. After he finishes surveying his surrounding, the Fox Tail return to his seat and relaxed, letting out a nervous laugh which follow with a sigh.
A whistle! That would help him if he ever get into any sudden situation that he know he won’t be able to come out alive. Closing his eyes, he tried to visualise the many whistle he had blown in his 19 year of life and those he seen in images. The main ones he mainly blown are those that looks like the figure six, he also was given once, before going to the UK, by one of the elders in his village a straight wooden whistle. Opening his eyes, he believes he could recreate that one, seeing as it was the most recent ones and he could strongly remember it.
Taking a short plank, he fashion it into a dowel with the length of four inches long and a diameter of two millimetres, he also made another dowel but shorter with a diameter of 1.5 millimetres. Opening his inventory, he searched for a 1.5/1.6 drill bit for his brace to drill a hole into the larger dowel. With the help of his Sylph, he was able to make a clean hole in the middle of the dowel. Taking out his fret saw, he started to saw the whistle air exit hole by first sawing halfway into the dowel before sawing it on an angle. Sanding the new hole, the Fox Tail tested the air flow by blowing through it, satisfied that the air was flowing properly, he grabbed the smaller dowel and with a file, file the edge to let air pass through before plugging it on the other end of the whistle. Blowing through the free hole, he adjust the whistle pitch by rotating the smaller dowel, satisfied with the sound created by the whistle, he took out the smaller dowel to apply glue to it before returning it to its position into the larger one, after the glue dried out, the Fox Tail saw off the excess of the smaller dowel before testing it once again. Happy with the final product sound, he grabbed the old sand paper and begins to sand any rough edges. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 698 | Word Count Wooden Whistle, Wooden Musical Instrument | Crafting Wooden Whistle | Credits

Finish sanding the whistle, the Fox Tail started to play with it by controlling the air flow into the whistle, to see how high and how low the pitch could get. He started to play a melody of ‘twinkle-twinkle little star’ on it as once again he rest his head on the back of the chair. With his arms spilling off the chair and his eyes closed, the Fox Tail started to just blow the whistle out as he relaxed after working on it and the chair he is sitting in.
Yawning, he let the whistle fall to his lap as he stretched his whole body in the chair, and once again looked at his to-craft list.
“Might try to make weapons next,” He mumbled to himself as he scratch his head, he wonder what he could make, a wooden training sword? A wooden shield? Or perhaps, try to make a bow, seeing as he IS a woodcrafter and bows are mostly made of wood, might as well try that. Nodding in agreement to himself, he stood up and open up his inventory to check on his supplies of crafting items; his tools seems to be still in top shape and… what else do you need to make a bow?
Strings? Yeah, strings! He might need to make a run to the town again to restock his crafting materials, seems as he out of glue now and also might need some nails to stabilise his table. Yeah, a lot of work to be done and he might probably need to visit a weapon shop just to look or possibly buy a bow to study it before replicate it without knowing how it supposed to look like.
He let out a sigh and desummoning his Sylph as he realise that she was still in his shoulder, resting her head on his cheek after a long day of trying to keep dust off her master’s eyes. The woodcrafter smile as he saw his Sylph slowly fade as she return back to where she was form to get a good rest. Stretching his legs, he opens up his inventory once again to put both his crafting table and chair in them, staring in amazement as it fade and the words table and chairs appears in his inventory.
“Now, back to town,” The woodcrafter said to himself, trying to motivate himself for the journey to understand the arts of creating weapons. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 407 | Word Count

The journey back to town was not that long, seeing as he was able to hitch a ride on a merchant wagon with the condition that the Fox Tail will be protecting them until they arrive to Londinium. Agreeing to the condition, the Fox Tail jumped up to the wagon, and as Mokusu take his seat next to the merchant as he guide his horses, the summoner turned his hearing aptitude on in hope he could listen to his surroundings for any approaching ambush… or you know… a simple people just approach them, so that the summoner could be ready for anything. As they proceed, small talks was made, the merchant was one of the People of the Land and to be able to talk to an adventurer was not one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ moments for him as he was… well a merchant, Adventurers are his primary customers and seeing as Mokusu himself was also a merchant, the Lander merchant was very careful on what they were talking about as he sees an adventurer merchant would be a threat to his business. So thus, small talk.
The journey was both uneventful and a bit… awkward, the Fox Tail can’t really explain just, he just have that feeling when meeting someone new, and as they reached the town gate, the Fox Tail said his thanks to the Lander before jumping off his wagon and proceed to the production district of the town by foot. Reaching the district, the Fox Tail continued to walk the familiar route that he has been following to his usual shops. First stop: the general shop, just at the outskirts of the district. As he smile to the shopkeeper, he proceed to browse through the shelves, picking things up; nails, glues, strings, and a few more other things he things he might need for the craft and then proceed to the counter to finish his purchase and after giving the shopkeepers the right amount of gold, he said his thanks and exited the shop.
Next stop, weapons. It wasn’t that hard to find a weapon shops seeing as survival is the main concern for everyone, and mostly everyone, both Adventurer and Landers have a weapon on hand, he step into one of the shops, owned by an adventurer, and the interior of the shops was filled with vast numbers of weapons and shields on display, walking to a shield, the Fox Tail picked it up to feel the weight of it. Heavy, to the point his arms started to tremble and possibly trembling out of its socket, he gives and placed it back on its display before an injury occurred. He started to debate silently to him on how he could replicate such shield, looking at its thickness, it was not that thick yet, its heavy… might be because he’s a summoner, might just sticks to magical-based equipment. He wonders if the planks he produced from the trees in the greatwood would be enough defence for a low levelled adventurer to use. Trees… would raw tree would be a strong defence to be a shield? He might test it out next time if he visits the greatwood again.
The Fox Tail then proceed to looks at the weapons, the design seems simple enough for him to replicate and the usual planks he been using would be sufficed enough but it would be nothing more than a training sword, useful for training but a bad choice for actual combat. Speaking of training swords, the Fox Tail suddenly wonder if he could make a Shinai, he had been training Kendo back home during his school years but we wasn’t that good seeing as his Sensei kept asking him to perfected his foot works. He smile at the memories, he was lucky, his Sensei was a good instructor, strict like the others but fun once you get to know him, the smile fade as he wonder if he get to see him again. Shaking the memories off before he start crying, he proceed to search for bows… but it seems the shops only sells close combat weapons. Well, off to the next one. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 696 | Word Count Moku is trying to find a bow to look at =3 | OCC Note

The next shop he visited was mostly filled with staves, different types of grimoires, puppets and other magical weapons, the Fox Tail enter to examine the staves seeing as he might try working on it one day, the puppets and also some of the crystal balls before browsing through the grimoires, wondering if he should buy one of them seeing as one of the effect of wielding grimories will give the user elemental attack. He might want to use the beginner grimorie he had in his inventory to see if he preferred it to a whip and with that thought, he exited the building.
Seeing as the sun was about to set, Mokusu journey to one more shop, this one was a Lander owned shop and it was more of a butcher rather than a weapon shop. The Huntsman, entering the building, it was both a weapon shop and a kind of tavern; inside there were different types of creatures head mounted on the wall and below it, a menu where the creature was served as a dish. Other than the head mount, the walls was also decorated with weapons mainly for hunting and drawings of different types of maps. Approaching one of the walls decorated with weapons, one of the waitress approached him and ask if the Fox Tail would like to purchased one of the few items found mounted at the wall.
Smiling to the Lander, the Fox Tail smiled and shook his head but asked if he could hold one of the bows. The waitress nodded and smile back to the Fox Tail before taking one of the nearest chair to use as a step for her to grabbed one of the hunting bow located above. Stepping down from the chair, the waitress present the adventurer with the bow in which the Fox Tail took hold in his hands. The name and flavour text appeared as the Fox Tail was about to examine the weapon.
[Hunting Bow, A simple strong bow, a great use for hunting fast creature.]
Dismissing the windows, the Fox Tail proceeded to examine it. The wood use was a strong one, not like the one he had used to craft his whistle, table and chair. Strong and flexible, he might need to check the swamps for these kinds of wood or he needed to venture deeper into the greatwood to find one like it. Finishing examining the woodwork of the bow, he proceed to test it out, holding it vertically, he pulled the bow string, the texture of the bow string was different from the string he just recently bought, thick but still easy on the fingers. In other words the bow was a perfect hunting bow to the point the woodcrafter was considered lucky to hold it. Handing the bow back, he said his thanks and give the waitress a 10 gold tip for letting his examine such bow before exiting the shop.
Seeing the light of day had disappear, the streets was started to come to life as some of the adventurer that had done with their daily grinding returns to either sell their drops or to restock their supplies. Feeling tired, the Fox Tail started to exited the busy streets and enter one of the local inn. Purchasing a room for one, he grabbed the key from the inn keeper and proceeded to his room to rest.
Lying down on the inn’s bed, he planned out tomorrow craft in his head and it wasn’t long until sleep swallow him whole. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 590 | Word Count

The Fox Tail woke up sweating, just like any other day; the dream was still there, replaying itself whenever it can. The nightmare of the first day he entered the world, each time the beginning was different, at one, he touch his computer screen as if he wanted to enter this world, other times he was forced entered, either by a hand suddenly appearing out of his screen or the screen was a big mouth with sharp razor teeth, swallowing him whole. He learned to live with it, make it into a reminder that this world is not his.
Wiping the sweat from his face, the Fox Tail climbed out of the soaked sheets of the bed and open the lone window, adjacent this bed. Stretching his just awaken body, he search the room for him to clean up, in a cupboard was placed two towel in which he used one of them to wiped of the remaining sweat off his body. Opening his door, a basin of water was placed in front of it by perhaps one of the inn’s staff. He first tested the water by dipping in his fingers before picking it up and locking his door back to clean himself up. When the Fox Tail was done, he exited the room and proceeds to look for something to eat in the early morning. After a few minutes of wandering the streets of London, he decided to stop by The Huntsman to grab a taste on their delicacies and perhaps, examine the bow some more. He breath in the air as he enter the shop before sitting down on the corner placed table near where the bows are displayed and order a simple eggs breakfast, when ask which of the creature eggs to be use the Fox Tail replied with the two words he always wanted to say in any shops in the old world. “Surprise me.”
And surprise he did, the eggs served to him looks just like the eggs back home but when he tasted it… words failed to explain how amazing the eggs tasted but the aftertaste was horrid making the Fox Tail regret eating it yet not as the taste was again. Amazing. He was forced to order one of the sweetest drinks available for the aftertaste to be completely disappear and as he sipped to the strange sweet tea mixed with a weird fruit, he relaxed as the eventful breakfast came to a close and just from afar look at the different bow mounted at the wall. He was sure he could make them, but a perfect wood must be found before he was able to perfectly make the one he surely be satisfied with but first he need to practice on making it so the wood won’t be a waste.
Finishing his drink, he thanks the owner as he paid for the food, and with the after taste still lingering in his mouth, he open up his inventory to confirm to himself that he had everything he needed to craft the items. Happy that everything is in order, he started his journey back to the outskirts of the Greatwoods to craft. Sure he was aware that the town have workshops for him to use, but for some reason he think he’ll get the optimum crafting quality he could achieved when he is near the woods and also that there are too many distraction in the city. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 575 | Word Count Nightmare, breakfast, bow, insperation, JOURNEY!!!! | Notes

No wagon to hitch a ride, the Fox Tail just walked back to where his tree was, back to the edge of the Windsor Greatwood. The walk, just like the wagon ride with the merchant, was uneventful. Seeing as it’s a low level area, most of the creature he encountered mainly ignored the Fox Tail, some come close to just stare at him before returning back to whatever they were doing before and some follow him from a safe distance before again stopping to just stare.
Grey cloud started to rolled as Mokusu saw the tree from a distance, the Fox Tail change his course as rain started to drop as much as he wanted to make the weapons, he don’t want to make it under the rain, even if it just as light as it is now. Wood and water, not a great combination. The route he choose was to the abandon stables he once found that day he crafted his table, seeing as the roof was still intact, it could make it into a workshop for himself there, possibly someplace to crash when he was too far away from town, just like he is now. Maybe he should buy the stables and converted it into his player home. Letting out a sigh as the thoughts start running through him, he finally found the stable back, examining the exterior, it seems like no one have touch it since he was last here. Looking at his surroundings, the trees kept the stables hidden which explain why no one else touch the stables, he really was lucky that he stumble on the place.
Knowing luck, it’ll soon ran out. Entering the stable, he check the stalls for any creatures and just like last time none was found. The sun was just cover by the thin layers of grey clouds which make visibility an issue in the stable, opening the door he let some of the light in, wandering the stables, he tried to find any windows to open, seeing as it was a horse stable, windows are an essential due to excrement and what not. Four stalls, which means four windows should be in it, he check them and there they were, he was able to open three of them, one seems to be jammed by an over grown plant outside but that was enough to let the light in for him for the first time to really see the room whole.
Opening his inventory, he pulled out the chair and crafting table, placed it just near the main door and the few materials he bought and placed it on the table. Stretching his arms, he opened up his crafting interfaced and pulled out the tools. “Now, let us begin.” ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 459 | Word Count Shield...? or Bow? o-o Hmmm... | Notes

Sitting down on the chair, he looks at the materials in front of him and as he tilt his head on the right, the Fox Tail started to think on what he wanted to make. Right now on his mind, two things emerged: a shield and a bow.
Closing his eyes, he visualised the hunting bow he once hold just not that long ago. Trying to remember the feel of the wood he once touched, trying to remember how perfect it was. Opening his eyes, he saw out a bit of the plank on top of his crafting table, just curvy enough that it has taken a shape of a bow and when it was done, he hold it in front of him.
“This won’t do.” He muttered to himself, eyes once again red as some of the saw dust had entered his eyes. He need a different type of wood, a more stronger, if he were to use this plank, he can’t guarantee how long it would stand before snapping in two. Perfection is what he was looking for, but he know as well as anyone, even perfection must have flaw. Taking the unfinished bow limbs, he bends it to see how far it can stretch, the reason of doing this is because the Fox Tail understand that a bow’s limb will be under a lot of pressure as they’ll be the parts the wielder will depends on for a strong shot.
Hands on the bow arch, the woodcrafter continued to bend it slowly before relaxing it, he needs to know if the wood would increase in its flexible with more usage, so again, he bends it. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 278 | Word Count Trying to figured out how to make a bow =/ | Notes

The unfinished bow breaks in the middle as the woodcrafter bends it once more.
“The grip’s not thick enough,” He comments on his work as he examined the broken unfinished bow. Taking the plank he had used to craft the piece of the bow, the woodcrafter took out his chisel and began craving a few notes. A few times the wood crack making the words look funny, a few times also the chisel slip off his fingers as he carve. Putting it down, the Fox Tail let out a sigh and opened his inventory before making a loud groan. He had forgotten to buy some paper and a quill; it’ll be much easier to keep notes if he had them.
Closing the inventory, Mokusu look around the old stable for anything he could write on or with and a rock catches his eyes, a lone rock in a world of hay. Picking it up, he figured that if he rubs the rock hard enough on the plank, it could be used as a chalk… a chalkboard! That’s what he need!
Clearing the mess on top of his table, the woodcrafter then placed three planks side by side; large enough to make an average door and with his saw, he began sawing it to the size he want the chalkboard to be, half the height of an average door. Wiping the sweat of his brows, he was done with the sawing process and now to begin joining them together. Taking out the newly purchased old glue he proceed to bind them together until one big board is formed, looking at it as he waits for the glue to dry, he feels something is missing… oh yes, the frame. Seeing as he didn’t want to waste anymore of his planks on this, the woodcrafter grabs the bits and pieces of the saw off wood and with the glue, start to create the frame around the board. With a melody in head and a play with glue on wood and wood on glue, it is done.
Now, he will just wait until the glue to dry to proceed with the next process, sanding the surface and applying an undercoat. Standing up, Mokusu walked to the stall that had a large pile of hay and proceed to lay down, guess he won’t be using those paints to decorate his weapon creation. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 397 | Word Count Chalkboard | Researching... 3x Old Plank, 1x Old Glue | Materials Used

Lying down on the pile of hay, Mokusu did what he always did when he had nothing to do: opening the user interface and start reading his skills and the flavour text of his items and equipment. He had achieved level 18 on his summoner class just a while ago, so he had some new skills to read rather than rereading the ones he already has and after doing a lot of crafting, he was also able to increase it to level 15, giving him the skill of quick construction, which he may rarely use.
After rereading the skills and the items in his inventory, he jumped back up and stretched his body. Believing it was enough time has passed for the glue dry, he walked out of the stall and toward his crafting table, decided to check the soon-to-be chalkboard out. Picking it up, the Fox Tail shake it up and down to confirm that the glue really dry. Satisfied with his work, he pulled out one of the newly purchased sandpaper and began sanding the rough patches and rough patch, so he could easily write on it without highlighting any of the board rough patches. After a few minutes, the woodcrafter rest his arms as he finishing sanding the frame and after a few more minutes, he start to sand the board, front and back.
After he finish, he run his hand on surface to see if everything has been smoothen and when he found no rough patches, he placed it down to the rock hard floor before pulling out a white bucket of paint off his inventory and placing the paint on the floor. Taking out his chisel, he open up the can and picking up one of the saw-off wood to stir the white contain before pulling out his large paint brush. Dipping the brush on the paint, the first try it out on one of the leg table and after he was satisfied with the colour it produce, the woodcrafter began undercoating the board. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 339 | Word Count Chalkboard | Researching... 1x old Sandpaper, 1x Paint | Material Used

With a final stroke of the brush, the Fox Tail stood up to examine his work before carrying it outside to let the paint dry. It might took a while seeing as the sun is almost ready to set, and after setting it down on the grass, the Fox Tail walk back inside and pulled out another can of paint out of his inventory and setting it on the table. Again, with his chisel, Mokusu open up the can and again stirred the black contain with one of the chopped up wood before once again playing around with his interface to wait for the sun to set before bringing the board back in.
After a while of scrolling up and down the options in the interface and rereading everything he had read, the Fox Tail stretch his body and start closing the windows as the light of the sun started to dimmed in an orange colour, opening his skill list, he summon his Carbuncle and put her (him?) on his head to help the Fox Tail lit up the stable before exiting it to bring the board back in. Putting the Carbuncle on the table, Mokusu pat his (her?) head and let it rest as she gave out a bright green-ish white light.
Putting his index finger on the surface of the painted board, Mokusu pulled it back to examine if the paint was still wet. Smiling on his clean finger, he pulled out a new clean brush and again began to dip it into the open black paint and started to paint the board, leaving out the frame white.
After a few more stroke of the brush, it was done. Setting the paint and brush aside, the waiting game once again begin for the paint to dry.
“It’ll be done when we woke up tomorrow,” Mokusu said, smiling at his Carbuncle as he pick it up and place the light elemental bunny on top of his head so it could help him as the Fox Tail secured every opening in the stable and after rechecking everything, he went back to the stall with the large pile of hay and setting the light buddy down, he too flop down and just stare at the ceiling as sleep started to bring him on an adventure.
The next morning, Mokusu woke up with a headache and still felt tired, looking around he saw that his Carbuncle has disappear, looking at his GUI, he saw that his MP bar started to slowly filled up. His mana might have reached zero when he sleep, still feeling tired the Fox Tail dragged himself up and forced himself to walk to his crafting table to examine the board. Examining the black coloured chalkboard and seeing as it has dried in the night, he smiled.
“Now,” He said, taking his seat, “We could really plan.” ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 478 | Word Count Chalkboard | Researching... 1x paint | Materials Used

Taking his chisel, he grabbed one of the rocks on the floor and breaks it into a small size chalk and with the small stone; he tested it on the board. Firstly softly dragging it on the edge and erasing it with his thumb, “Mmh.” He pushed the sound out, as he examined the mark made by the stone. “Too soft, too light,” He comment on the aftereffect before he once again try but this time with a hard push and drag. The mark left was too hard but when he tries to rub it off, it didn’t fully disappear.
Looking around, he saw the slight open paint can and wonder, if he dipped the stone in the paint and wait for it to dry, will it act like a chalk? He just had to try and with that he dipped the stone and the tips of his index finger and thumb into the white paint that he used as the undercoat of the board. Taking out the white cover paint, he grabbed one of the planks and pulled it out into the warm morning sun before setting it down on the grown and place the paint covered stone on top of it and brushing his paint covered finger tips on the plank.
“Now!” The Fox Tail said as he stretched his body up, “Back to bed!” and walk back into the barn and back into the hay filled stall to take a quick sleep. He should really make a bed, sure he love sleeping on the piles of hay since he always want to have one of those western cowboy experience he often read in books and watch on tv but still, his back often ache. “Meeh, will do it later,” and with that, he rest his eyes. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 299 | Word Count Meep =3 | Notes Bed Frame | Next Craft
