Spade's race of course is a werecat so he gave him mostly black fur except on his face which he decided to have a large oval reminiscent of a mask starting from the mid point of his neck and rounding out to his nose, the only exception is a large dark pink colored diagonal scar covering the length of his left shoulder blade. Thinking about how troublesome it would be to make his avatar with a great amount of muscle he decided to make him have more compact muscle than muscle that bulges so his arms are a bit short for someone of his size but this is purely for his intended fighting style. Most of his height is given to him from on his legs and his torso and head are of average length. This would have him be slender from any type of clothes he wears but if one were to feel his body tone it would be hard muscle and ridges. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]To the core of Spade's very being he is a street brawler, that makes him an impulsive and head strong at times but one of his major drawbacks is that he is unable to think of any type of complicated planning before a battle. He thinks the best hen he is in the middle of a fight and most of his thinking abilities is taken up by his current fight, considering if he isn't following his gut instinct in the first place. Due to his nature he can't sit still in one place for 3 minutes unless he is resting or eating, Spade puts great emphasis on knowing his surroundings and how to get around them. Due to the life he has lived until now he has developed a crippling fear of closed spaces i.e coffins, closets, large boxes, freezers, basically anything one could hide something or someone that is no longer living. Spade also has a competitive streak, he likes a challenge and he feels alive the most when he is in a close physical match with his opponent. In his lifetime he did not have many chances to pick up on social cues save for fear, anger and hatred so he will have a hard time determining which emotion people may be showing behind their outer face. With his stature in his actual life he never had to apologize but his younger brother pleaded with him to apologize when he knows he is in the wrong, he follows this but this does not mean he has a easier time of it. Spade is not a natural loner but he has grown to become used to it, his pride stops him from asking many things this even includes asking for assistance even when its clearly needed. His pride will even have him taunt any enemy he knows he will defeat even in the middle of a battle, usually in the form of a shuffle or verbal taunt. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]At the early age of 14, Louis and his 2 younger siblings (4 and 6 respectively) became orphans due to his parent's suddenly going missing. Since he lived in the rough part of his large urban city he was forced to mature early so he and his brother and sister would survive, he had always been known as the biggest teenager in his neighborhood he was even taller and stronger than some men twice his age. So when word got out that he was in need of money quickly the crime lord jumped at the chance to have a boy with much promise join his ranks, Louis as convinced that this was what he had to do so his siblings could have a better life than living off of government welfare but he gave the strict condition that he must help keep his two siblings away from the life that he is going to travel down. With the chance to lose someone that could be so valuable the deal with the devil was struck, for the next 10 years he did each job that was given to him down to the T, he even took boxing classes for a few years just so he could do his job better but he fell in love with the sport as it was one of the few things he could do that fit both his personality and his life style. Due to his work he had to quit school and he got more than a few marks from some of his more violent jobs, the off side was that with each job he did Louis's paycheck rose until he was able to move his siblings in to a private school with room and board. When he moved them in to the private school he had just turned 22 and he had no chance to contact them since it was unwise for him to own a cell phone so he could not tell them how much he missed them save for the holiday visits that they came home even with him h=being highly reluctant for them to do so. So when he turned 24 for his birthday they sent him a computer and the game Elder tale with a message "Lighten up and try to have fun for once. And be nice!" Not wanting to waste the time and money it cost them to purchase and send this gift Louis began his journey into Elder Tale and what happened next is already history. The monk flexes their body, causing their skin to transform into an iron-like color for the duration of the skill. It provides additional offensive and defensive power at the slight cost of agility. As long as it is maintained, the monk's MP is gradually reduced. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Cardinal Rose Tier I Skill A skill that distinguishes a character's ability to be a good navigator. It is a toggle skill that uses a negligible amount of mana when it is activated, causing an icon of a compass to appear in the bottom right corner of the character's vision. As long as this skill is active, the character will always know which direction is north. This skill is particularly effective when exploring in uncharted territory. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Bullet Punch- Tier I Skill The user enters a frenzy by launching multiple punches after another, each punch launched at a faster than usual rate without losing very much momentum from a regular punch. The only disadvantage is that the user's arms are locked into performing this punching animation for four seconds straight, preventing them from doing anything else until the animation has completed. This skill has an animation time of 4 seconds (each individual punch has an animation time of 0.5 seconds) and a cooldown of 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Tiger Echo Fist- Tier I Skill The user punches the ground, unleashing a powerful shockwave that damages nearby enemies and sends them flying. The effect is obviously variable depending on the targets' size and weight. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Zoom Attack- Tier I Skill Usually called Zoom Punch or Zoom Kick by players who use it in the respective way, the Monk launches a punch or kick at the target as their limb extends for an additional meter forward for a few moments. The suddenly extended range of attack catches most melee opponents off guard. This skill has a cooldown time of five seconds, making it a viable fighting style for unconventional Monks who want to fulfill a mid-ranged role. It's said that a Monk named Dhalsim on the India Server popularized this skill by suggesting a build based on being able to use it with greatly decreased cooldown. This skill has an animation time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 6 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Wyvern Kick- Tier I Skill The user takes to the sky by performing a high jump, then kicking down toward a target. Often, the monk will then perform another jump to maintain the height advantage. This skill is particularly taken by monks for its vaulting properties. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Suplex: Tier I Skill The user grabs hold of their target and leaps into the air. During the grapple the user spins horizontally then the victim is flung over the shoulder and slammed into the ground. This skill does more damage the longer the user holds on, but at greater risk. This skill has a maximum animation time of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Iron Rhino Stance: Tier I Skill One of the toggle-activated Monk stances. The Iron Rhino Stance causes a semi-transparent projection of a rhino's head to be superimposed on the player's upper body. While in this defensive stance, the user's evasion rate greatly decreases while their defensive ability increases. It's often combined with Iron Body to turn the normally agile class into a slightly capable tank. [attr="class","skill"]Drunk Monkey: Tier I Skill A passive monk skill based on the Drunken Fist fighting technique. It is activated when the monk uses an alcohol-based drink made by a Brewer. While inhibition by alcohol would normally lower fighters' coordination, this skill causes a heightening of some of the monk's natural reflexes, raising their evasion rate and providing a small chance for the monk to passively dodge attacks entirely. Still, this status only lasts as long as the effect of the drink. So please drink responsibly. [attr="class","skill"]Rafting Taunt: Tier I Skill The user poses aggressively and baits enemies' attention. For a few seconds, all enemies within the surrounding area can only select the monk as a combat target. This is often used as a means of managing consistent aggro control. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. [attr="class","skill"]Parry: Tier I Skill A hard parry that is delivered to reduce the force of an incoming attack. It is a system-assisted action that controls the body in the face of an oncoming attack, designed to reduce the damage from an attack as much as possible. Thus, while anyone can parry an attack given the right timing and momentum and achieve mixed results, activating this skill is probably one of the safest defenses against such an attack. Allowing the system free reign of one's own actions, however, may perhaps prove somewhat difficult in terms of flexibility. Despite that, this skill is one of the most basic and effective defensive techniques of the Warrior classes. Parry has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 5 seconds. This cooldown is doubled to 10 seconds if used by any other class. [attr="class","skill"]Heated Combat: Tier II Skill A Monk's toggle skill that behaves similarly to the Beatdown skill in that its effects become more pronounced with repeated combos. However, rather than accumulate power through enemy kills, Heated Combat is a skill that gains power through individual attack combos. As long as the Monk keeps striking the enemy with blows and does not get interrupted for more than two seconds, their punches and kicks will gradually increase in damage. The aesthetic effect of this skill is that the skin around the fist or foot becomes hot to the touch, but this skill does not actually deal fire elemental damage. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Detox: Pharmacists have developed a certain resistance around drugs. This skill can be toggled to make a pharmacist immune to status debuffs caused by potions. Additionally, they passively recover twice as fast from poison status effects. [attr="class","skill"]Skill Name: Battle Perception: Toggle skill. Battle perception allows the Pathfinder to notice nearby monsters more easily by displaying their names and levels above their heads. It allows the Pathfinder to detect monsters about 3 meters further than a normal character, and is most useful for preventing ambushes. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor:Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. Two white hand wraps both 170” long that are used to wrap around the hands to protect the user from damaging themselves while using their fists. The leather has been hardened on the outside to increase damage but softened on the inside to decrease the impact for the user. There is a stylized K&R on the inside of the wraps to denote the crafter. Reforge: Level 13 Attack Stat increase. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Hand Wraps of Striking [attr="class","skill"]Magic Necklace: Level 14. Effect: Skill Duration Increase of Monk Skill Beatdown. A magic necklace consisting of a simple silver chain connecting to a small blue orb of crystallized mana. the orb has tiny green square flecks of varying color and size. When worn and the Beatdown skill used, it glows a soft green and extends the duration of the skill by one second.
