The sun held itself high above the city of Londinium, shining brightly and brilliantly upon all citizens of the city, Adventurers and People of The Land alike. The town square was full of all kinds of people going about all kinds of business and activities: Adventurers seeking a party, or members for their own party; artisans and craftsmen walking about with bundles of fabric, rolls of paper, ingots of metal, beams of lumber, mixtures of plants, and more; merchants making fervent attempts to sweet talk their merchandise and wares off the shelves and into the homes and bags of others. Sitting on a bench by the fountain in the square were two adventurers: a father and daughter. While the daughter ate a small meal, the father had been reviewing his inventory, his skills, and his stats. Dumah Iino, a level 22 Swashbuckler, found himself with a rather rare luxury: a free day. After killing plenty of time in his menu screen, he watched the hordes of people pass by, enjoying the nice day with his daughter Alette. As Dumah was watching the people mingle about, he noticed a pair of fox ears with dark purple fur. Dumah stood, stretching his neck high a bit in an attempt to see over the crowd. Once he could confirm the person's identity, he held his hands up to his mouth, shouting out to her. "Katarina!" Dumah ran through the crowd to catch up to her. It had been quite a long time since the two had met on the day which had since come to be known as The Apocalypse, the day when all of Elder Tale's players somehow awoke inside the game, in the form of their own characters. Dumah caught up to her, and Alette had followed him. "Hello, @bornfromvelvet!" He smiled and chuckled a bit. "It has been quite a while since we met, has it not?" At a glance, Dumah's strength could not be gauged, as his swords were hidden in his inventory and he had street clothes on, comprised of a custom made weather proof hoodie and jeans. "I would not be surprised if you do not recognize me!"
The young girl, who was only a few inches shorter than Katarina, looked up at Dumah. "Daddy, who is this?"
Dumah chuckled and smiled as he answered, introduciing the two girls. "Alette, this is an old friend of mine, Katarina. Katarina, I would like you to meet my daughter, Alette. She is a Sorceress."

Katarina was bored. Very bored. It was funny to her, in a way. Elder Tale was her release, her joy, where she went to, well, not be bored. Now that she's in it, she has nothing to do. The streets of Londinium were packed full of Adventurers and Landers, who seemed to be significantly less bored than she was, forming parties, carrying supplies, trading said supplies, et cetera, et cetera. She looked around the busied streets, desperately trying to find something to do. Seeing nothing of note, she sighed and leaned back against the wall. 'Man, when I got sucked into Elder Tale, I did not imagine it would be this dull...' She looked up at the sun, blazing bright over the city. 'I wonder what those guys are doing...' she thought, thinking back to her first day in Elder Tale. Early on in the game, when she was still recovering from being sucked into Elder Tale and her... well... gender switch, she met with a group of people, who she stuck with for a while.
There was @kurosan, the somewhat silent assassin, Haseo, the swashbuckler with an affinity for all things black, and- "Katarina!" 'NO WAY...'
@dumah. What.
Katarina kept staring at the figure currently breaking through the crowd, making sure she wasn't seeing things. No, that was definitely Dumah. There was someone else with him as well, but Katarina was too focused on the black-haired individual running towards her to care. He smiled to her as he came to a halt, the young girl behind him following suit. Having calmed down from the initial shock of seeing Dumah again, she looked over at the other girl. The girl stood at around Kat's height, with short hair and a simple dress.
"Hello, Katarina!" Dumah smiled. "It has been quite a while since we met, has it not?" Katarina just nodded, still kind of in shock over the surprise meeting. When they split the group, they both knew that it was highly improbable that they would meet again, and with thousands of adventurers living in Londinium, that probability shot down to zero. 'And yet, here we are.' Katarina thought. "I would not be surprised if you do not recognize me!" 'Not recognize you? One could recognize your lack of conjunctions anywhere...' She smirked.
The younger girl looked up at Dumah. "Daddy, who is this?" Wait, daddy? Dumah chuckled as he answered his daughter's question. "Alette, this is an old friend of mine, Katarina. Katarina, I would like you to meet my daughter, Alette. She is a Sorceress." A Sorceress, huh? 'Well, it wouldn't be polite to not introduce myself...' Kat thought. 'She seems... fairly nice, actually. I probably don't need the shy act for this one.' She smiled at Alette. "Hi there! I'm, like your father just said, Katarina." She looked at her staff. "You can probably guess this much, but I'm a Cleric." Alette was smiling all throughout the introduction, seeming very happy and rather childlike. 'So, she's probably rather young then, age matching height.' She sighed internally. 'Not like me... I hate past me. Why couldn't he have chosen a better avatar!?" Deciding to end her hate against past-Joel, Katarina remembered something. "Hey, Dumah, well, I feel like an idiot for not bringing up this when we split, but why don't we friend each other?"[Word Count: 557 Tags: @dumah Notes: So, I'm assuming this is Alette's Character Sheet? If so, she's a Lander, so I assume you can see where I'm going with asking you AND Alette for a friend request. If not, I direct you to episode 15.]

Dumah laughed a bit, realizing she was right: they had not added each other to their respective friends lists. "Yes, of course!" He began to open his menus, tapping at the air, when he then gestured to his daughter. "All though, I would not expect one from Alette here. We do not know why, but for some reason it is as if her friends list is bugged." With that, Dumah tapped invisible interfaces in the air in front of him a few more times before @bornfromvelvet received a notification, popping up and alerting her to the receiving of a friend request. <Dumah Iino has added you to their friends list!> The menu had two options, each for accepting or denying this friend request. Dumah spoke while Katarina was still looking at and interacting with the notification. "We had no plans today, and in fact we were just sitting here killing time. If I may ask, what are you up to here? I would not wish to drag you into our boredom merely because of an old friendship! If we are to catch up, perhaps we could hunt a bit? Perhaps for old time's sake, if nothing else."

Dumah laughed at Katarina's comment, agreeing with her. "Although, I would not expect one from Alette here. We do not know why, but for some reason it is as if her friends list is bugged." Kat raised an eyebrow at that. A bugged friends list? She supposed that it could happen, they were in a game after all, but this is the first time she'd heard of this happening. 'Well, I probably shouldn't ask.' she thought. 'It seems plausible, and Dumah rarely lies. It's odd though-' Kat was brought back to reality by a pop-up appearing in front of her. <Dumah Iino has added you to their friends list! Add Dumah Iino?>
Quickly hitting yes, Katarina checked her friends list. Yep, Dumah was on there. Fantastic. While Katarina was doing that, Dumah spoke up. "We had no plans today, and in fact we were just sitting here killing time. If I may ask, what are you up to here? I would not wish to drag you into our boredom-" 'Drag me into their boredom? Hah. I don't think that I could get any more bored than I originally was...' "-merely because of an old friendship! If we are to catch up, perhaps we could hunt a bit? Perhaps for old time's sake, if nothing else."
Kat nodded. "Mate, you have no idea how bored I am at the moment." she deadpanned, not bothering with the shy act. She had dropped it around Dumah ages ago, figuring that they were familiar enough for her not to need it. "I was literally just about to fall asleep. I'd be happy to do anything. Although, if we are gonna go monster hunting, I'll warn you that I'm a little rusty. I haven't really done anything out in the field in ages." It was true. Kat was a Cleric after all, and a single Cleric going out into the field with no one else with her basically meant that that Cleric was going to die, and although she could respawn, she still hated dying anyhow.

Kuro looked up to the sky. It was around lunch-time. He usualy was asleep at this hour, but he wanted to get back to Londinium rather sooner then later, so in these few weeks he broke his "rule" to travel only under the "shadow of night" as he liked to say... to himself at least. He wasn't really in a group since he left his "beginning-group", made out of @bornfromvelvet the cleric, Haseo and @dumah the swashbucklers... When Kuro left the bank he was really tired. He hasn't slept in 2 days and the weather was too damn hot for him. (I should find some place to sleep in... for at least a day.) It was really busy on the main street at this hour and in his look for a discreet tavern where he could take a break he was swept by the stream of the people having to go there, sell that, get this, etc. ... As he was being swept by the flow of people he noticed some familiar voices: " "We had no plans today, and in fact we were just sitting here killing time. If I may ask, what are you up to here? I would not wish to drag you into our boredom merely because of an old friendship! If we are to catch up, perhaps we could hunt a bit? Perhaps for old time's sake, if nothing else."

" If Kuro wasn't so god damn tired he might be really suprised, but right now, his thoughts were: (Oh... should I go and say "Hi" to 'em... but that means having to chat afterwards... and I probably couldn't sustain a regular conversation...... however, how big is the chance of meeting them again...) etc. Meanwhile, as he was deciding what to do, the flow swept him again, but towards his old friends... and as he was half asleep he basicaly fell on Katarina throwing her off-balance and almost falling over himself. At least that woke him up a bit. [ Word count: 385 Tags: @bornfromvelvet @dumah Note: So I'm gonna join in if you don't mind. :) :P ]

((Dumah only :D ;) | But if you will continue here right now, do not act too friendly towards me cause I will acctualy leave the dream or raelity thread soon if it will continue for a while because of a Solo thread I created, so the storyline would fit in... unless you want to do another therad together after "Dream or Reality" which I could join in as well.))

((Oh yeah, I forgot you had that thread! Alrighty then, thanks for the heads-up. Although, the way I've built Katarina up, she probs wouldn't hold anything against @kurosan for splitting. So... yeah. Also, I'd be down with doing another thread on top of or after DoR, but as I've recently discovered, I really suck at creating RP ideas! So, as embarrassing as it is for me to ask it, could you make the thread?))
