Don’t cry– your tears will freeze.
Alchemy, one of the many new and mysterious functions added into this world. It wasn't like the other crafting classes that were available. Ones like the tailor and blacksmith, which existed in the real world. This one was totally new. It wasn't going to be simple like all the rest. Asking someone how to perform alchemy was out of the question. It just wouldn't sit well with the bard, knowing that he had to depend on everyone around him to guide him a long. He was going to figure out the answers for himself. Whether it be through hearing some passerby mention a word or two about it, or catching a glimpse of an alchemist at work. That'd be the only way if he didn't want anything to explode. Could things explode?
After some wandering about St. Pancras Station every now and then for a few days the bard finally had an idea of where to start. It was with the creation of a mana fragment. Many alchemists appeared to be using and crafting them, even those in starting armor such as himself. Wasn't very hard to figure out they hadn't made it far when they were still dressed in the cheap armor that he wore. The beginning attire was so weak and ugly. Surprising that there would be others with the same amount of progress as him. But maybe they had a reason similar to himself. It wasn't nice to judge.
The black haired individual swiped his foot across the ground a few times, clearing a spot for him to sit. Last thing he wanted was to sit on a nail. It'd ruin his whole day. Slowly he got down on the ground, ready to craft. Mana fragments were crafted from, well you guessed it mana. It meant that he'd have to channel from his own, right? Only way he could think of doing that was to copy the way someone had performed magic in a book he'd read one time. Closing his eyes he began to do all he could recall. Let the mana flow through you. Concentrate, visualize it in your hand. Imagine it was really there. "Kind of cheesy, isn't it?" he thought, before opening his eyes to witness the result of the magic that had happened.
