[C.A.E. 1-1] Messier Sage? Looks Clean to Me!

The Sage stood in the middle of the square, adorned in his robes of the cosmic night sky, proclaiming out to the masses of the adventurers and landers of a new opportunity that presented itself.

"Hear, to all of whom it may concern," the Sage proclaimed. "A new tablet has been found, dating back to the civilization of the Alvs. We, the Sages of the Messier Order, would like to request help from you adventurers in order to further understand this piece of history!" Many people sat and listened, many kept walking, busy with other preoccupations. 

Kane however, considered his interest peaked. He was always a bit of a lore-hound in other games, back before they all got stuck here, but this sounded rather interesting. The Alvs were ancient, and not even much was known about them to the players of the game over in japan. Kane had scoured the wikis back when it was first announced that the game would make its way over to the english countries. He was very curious. On top of that, this seemed like a quest designed for him. One of his own subclasses was after all Sage, so it seemed only natural that he should participate in this event. 

He slowly made his way through the crowd up to the Speaker. As he made his way closer, he could notice more about the person. His robes (Kane assumed he was a man, his build was slight, but still proportional to a male, and his voice still had a masculine gruff to it) covered every inch of his body, all detailed to the smallest print the specifications of the night sky. He could almost even swear that some of the stars seemed to twinkle.

As he made his way up, he reached a clearing, where it seemed those interested had gathered further. There was himself and one other man whom approached at the time. Kane nodded to the man as he approached, readying for any further information from the sage.

The Sage bent over as Kane approached, pulling a long stick with two crooks. It looked old, but well crafted, engraved with runes that Kane himself didn't fully understand. As he grabbed the other end the Sage bestowed upon him some final knowledge. 

"The pieces were weathered away, and lie scattered along the Coastline of the Thames. This stick shall glow as you near a piece, for it is in tune with the same mana wavelength as the pieces. May you be guided by the stars on your quest for the pieces."

With his final words the Sage released his end of the stick and stood back up. Kane made his way back to the outer edge of the circle, pocketing the divining rod, and making his way towards the Thames river. Whatever this tablet held, it sounded rather important, if not vague. It would definitely be good practice however, and he could use the levels. Whatever it was, he knew he would find it, and made his way out to the river to find these pieces.

Kane made his way back to the Sage, the Restored Cuneiform in hand. "Here's your tablet pieces," He said, presenting the fragments to the being clad in the night. Deftly, the robed figure sat and assembled the pieces until a single picture stood out; a marvelous and seemingly gigantic fountain. 

"This is the fountain the Ultima Thule," he exclaims, in a rather unexpected amount of amazement and disbelief. "It lies off of the coast on the Isle of Thule. Until recently, the entire island has been surrounded by massive storms that have rendered passage impossible. Either this is a stroke of luck, or a terrible omen of what is to come."

Kane eyed the Sage. He seemed genuinely in shock, or at least, as genuine as he could under those robes. Kane wasn't really sure himself. He didn't believe too much in omens, but he did believe that whatever lied ahead he would definitely need to be prepared. He gathered up his things and departed from the Messier Sage. He better get going, Whatever it was didn't sound like the kind of thing that should be allowed to continue gathering up its energy.
