Trains!? In Elder Tale!?! [Participation Requested]

Hey, guys! Hiro here, with another event-like thing, but this one having been approved by Moderators to go ahead and do.
So, here's the rundown of how this all came about, and why I decided I'd like to have this project make an appearance. Not too long, I was looking over a few possible guild house ideas with @0x1dea, just for the sake of finding a place for us to have and relax at. I made trains a long, LONG time ago, almost a year now, and there hasn't really been much of an opportunity to do much with them. So, what is it that we could do to incorporate something as monumental as actually having trains, and a new guild house? Well, none other than a new area for everybody to RP in!
If you look in the Londinium Sub-board, one will see that instead of there being the St. Pancras Station, there is now the new Londinium Railway sub-board, which houses both St. Pancras, and Pattington Station, the new guild house purchased by Apocrypha. (Name spelled differently for a reason.) Now, the biggest thing that I should mention is that this place is open to everybody. Everybody is allowed to make and participate in threads within this board, which will allow everybody to RP in the station itself, as well as on trains, going anywhere in the allowed Unfounded Kingdom. That means everywhere but Scotland.
Now, some people might think that Apocrypha is doing this just so they could hold it over everybody else's heads. Like one of the bigger guilds is trying to grab at some power that the other guilds can't have, right? Well, allow me to dispel that thought right now by saying that guilds will be given (in RP) a large upstairs room for them to deal with their own commerce and business-related prospects and problems. Every guild. Nobody is excluded. This will solely be a means of trying to get more guild-related activities to go on while in an enclosed area. For fun, or for profit. Up to you!
I should note, however, that a small sum of money may be required, if a housing tax is ever implemented. This is just an after-thought, and does not mean that such a thing will happen. In case something does, though, and other guilds would like to pitch in, any donation is greatly appreciated.
Now, with all this being as it is, there's just one small thing that we've gotta fix. And that's the railroads themselves. So, here's where everybody comes in, in order to even allow train-travel throughout the Kingdom, which will be done by something akin to how the current Celestial Arms quests are going on, as well as how things were done in the Palate of the Ages quest. Players will make a thread, given enough interest by other people, where they can go and work on their crafting classes, or do something while they're there, to help construction of the railways begin. Each of these threads will be Commerce threads. What this means is that the amount of AP one gets is treated as 0.75x the normal amount, but every 4 words is equivalent to 1 extra Gold. When a player goes to claim for these threads, they will tally up their total number of words, and divide them by 4. Whatever whole number one gets from there is the total amount of Gold that they will be given, as a result, as the Claim is being approved by a Moderator.
The system that this will work on is as follows: Every 2 posts made by one player, of 500 Words or higher, will add 4% to an area's completion value. Each of the areas will have a total of 20% Completion Progress, spread across the 5 open areas where work can happen. Londinium, Windsor, Sarum, Avon, and the Isle of Grain. Not too bad of a goal to set, right? Keep in mind, that this can be solo'ed, if anybody wishes to do so. I will keep track of how much progress is made within this thread, for all to see. Once an area has been completed, train access will be open to anywhere within that given board. Please post in here all the train work that you have done, how much percentage of it is done by you and/or your party, and state where the thread takes place, so I can keep up on everything and edit this thread's numbers accordingly!
I understand that this holds no real value, outside of purely Role-Playing purposes, though I'm hoping that the gold from the Commerce Threads and RP potential will be enough to get this project moving. I'm asking that anybody who wants to help out does so. Let's make this world move a bit faster, as we speed ourselves into the future of travel!
