'This is for the sake of knowledge, Joel.' Katarina thought to herself as she treaded along the Thames Coastline again for the billionth time, holding out her divining rod out like a metal detector. She sighed, leaning against a rock. Oh, who was she kidding, this was so totally not worth the effort at all. Looking around the area, she noticed a few other adventurers doing the exact same thing she was, holding their sticks to the ground in a vain attempt to find the fragments of the tablet. Now she was starting to see why so few were willing to go and accept this quest. It was... so, so boring.
Looking around, the Cleric noticed a familiar bunny hood amongst the admittedly very small crowd. Kat's hands immediately fell to protect her tail as she remembered who it was. Lamenta, the Bard from the Fenrir fiasco and one of the newest members of Noihara. He was... nice enough, she supposed. He certainly didn't seem like a bad person, although he was definitely not what Kat would call sane, constantly spouting out lines about bunnies. On top of that, well, he seemed to have an almost unhealthy obsession with anything fluffy, and, well, the Cleric's tail was very fluffy indeed. The bunny fiend actually did end up grabbing her tail at one point, although Kat will concede that it seemed highly probable it was an accident. Kat spied a divining rod in the man's hand. So, he was on this quest as well then? She was kind of bored, company certainly would make this go faster. Does she dare...?
Kat sighed as she found herself walking towards the self proclaimed "Duke of the Rabbit Den, Bunny Lord the III". She'd accept any company at all at this point. "Heyo, Lamenta." she said with a slight grin. "You on this wild goose chase from the sages as well? If so, you want to group up again?" She leaned on her glorified metal detector as she said this, wobbling a little side to side. "I dunno about you, but I want to get this part done ASAP."[Word Count: 355 Words Required: 355/750 Posts Required: 1/3 Tags: Lamenta Notes: I didn't know how Kat and Lamenta would meet up for this quest, so I just had it so they met in the field. He looks at the wand that Katarina hold. He laughed 'Oh boy you become one of that silly sages personal slave, well me to actually. Do you know what exactly we are searching for? all i know is supposed to be a stone remnant, and believe me i have seen many rocks on the riverbed.'
'as much as i want to finish this, but i can't find the picture or clue to begin the search, have any idea. Katarina?' he squint his eyes toward the river to look clearly on the river, what has he done to make him face this torture

Kat sighed as she heard the fluff fiend speak. 'Yes yes, I am just as fluffy as ever...' Honestly, she wasn't expecting him to straight up say that. Is the fluffy tail the only reason he's still talking to her? Kat'd believe it. Seemingly remembering the incident that made Katarina loathe the man for the while, Lamenta backed up and insisted that the tail touching was an accident. "Yeah, I'm aware. No hard feelings..." she muttered. Okay, so that was a complete and utter lie. There's many hard feelings. Hard feelings have been had. Lamenta grinned as he went on to mention that the only reason he's keeping his hands away from the tail is because he didn't want to risk having Katarina leave, and with her, his chance to admire her tail. Kat blushed heavily upon remembering that her tail is also practically connected to her arse. Okay, bad thoughts, let's not think about the fact that Lamenta is staring at something else along with the fluff.
Glancing down at the divining rod, Lamenta laughed, asking if Kat had also become one of the sages personal slaves. Kat paused. "Well, I mean, that's kinda why I came to you in the first place, I saw your divining rod, I'm aware you're also-" Kat sighed as Lamenta, seemingly ignoring her at this point carried on speaking, saying that he too was on a quest from the sages. "Yeah, I figured." she muttered tersely. Seemingly unphased by her bitter remarks, he went on to ask Kat what exactly they were looking for."As far as I'm aware, we're just searching for the missing parts of the tablet." she begun, before pausing. "Well, I say "parts". For all I know, there could just be one big chunk that's missing, but hey. I guess we won't know until we find it, or, find them-actually, I'll just stop talking.." Kat sighed. She knew she had a tendency to ramble on about unimportant things, and she was trying to stop that. But, alas, some habits were hard to break out of. "Anyway, you know what I mean. From what I understand, the divining rod will light up when we get close to a fragment, so we'll know when we find it." Lamenta, after (thankfully) taking in Kat's explanation, glanced across the riverbed, asking if she had any idea where to start looking. Katarina sighed. "Believe me when I say I've been across this damn coastline way to many times to count." she said lamely. "I've got no ideas where it could be. At this point, I've just been walking around hoping that this thing'll go off." she finished, tapping her metal detector-I mean, rod impatiently. "My best guess is 'Wherever everyone else isn't'."Glancing around the area, Kat spotted a spot that was more or less away from the masses. "The others have been looking around this area for ages." she explained. "If the fragment was over there, someone'd have found it by now. I'm... pretty sure people haven't searched around this bit yet? Yeah, I'm almost certain." Katarina glanced around the area she had led the two to. It was a more rocky area of the beach, and its only discernible landmarks were, well, guess. Rocks, rocks, and more rocks. Still though, it seemed like a somewhat likely place for the tablet piece to be. Motioning to Lamenta to come over, Kat sighed. "This is going to be a long day."[Word Count: 577Words Required: 932/750 - Complete!Posts Required: 2/3 Tags: Lamenta ]

HP: 100% MP: 100% SKILL USED: N/A LAMENTA bard Lamenta observe the group which kat just pointed out. He seen a handful of people there, if he make a group out of it, he can conclude there is about three groups consist of two persons, three persons, and four persons. All of them are scavenging the remnant, he don't know they are doing it subconsciously or not, but they make like almost a shape of circles leaving an empty circle.
Kat suggested to him that they need to search on the less people's search. The young bard feel bitter when he saw many rocks at the other side 'rocks..rocks..and rocks, why am i not surprised' Lamenta mumbled. He turn and face Kat
'You are proposing to search on the rocks, that's great. I could see a various size of rock there, there are pebbles and there is also a boulder, how marvelous.' The young bard grab a pebble and threw it on the river, it skipped three times until it crash landed on a boulder.
It's hard for him to admit it, but Kat suggestions is actually make sense, it just that he can't admit it straightly.
'I am pretty sure, everyone is not that idiot' he glimpse an adventurer swings his blade blindly making a big splash around her '-- Or not, well... never mind that' he shook his head dismissing the idea that run on his mind.
He touch his center of forehead with his finger trying to form other option. Is it possible that the rock we are looking for is the middle of that circle which the group formed? he shook, it can't be right? the wand may have gives a reaction if it was there. He gives a long sighed, he can't stand thinking longer than this, it is useless something like this will be much better to do it on the field. He put away his jacket and hung on the tree branches
'Well then, although i did say all of that, but it has high probability we could find the remnant. My little suggestions is let's start on the starting of the rocks line, if it was swept away a hundred years ago, it just our luck if the stone got stuck at the rock and buried a little by sand which forms by millennia. Or we could get a worse luck, the stone may be --' he shook his head, it doesn't matter all they need now is optimism ' forget it, let's get started... i don't want to prolong the search, although it seems i already did.'

Katarina sighed for the septillionth time as she sat down on a nearby rock. The two had been at it for a fair while now, searching the area very thoroughly. Though it seemed like a small chunk of land at first, it felt massive. A few of the other adventurers had gone home, growing bored of the quest. Kat couldn't really understand those people's thought process. It was tedious work, sure, but it's what they signed up for. Well, she says this. Honestly, she was almost tempted to follow in their footsteps, just get up and leave, but alas, there was a part of Kat's mind that was nagging at her to finish the quest simply for the sake of knowledge. It's funny, really. Kat was never big on history back in the old world, but she couldn't get enough of this world's lore. Something about it was just inherently interesting. Sighing again, Kat stood up and started walking along the beach again. "It has to be somewhere around here..." she muttered to herself, with Lamenta following behind. Honestly, she was starting to doubt her words. They'd been all around this place! Surely they would've found the tablet piece by now, right? Looking back at the Bard, Kat began to suggest they move on to the next area-
-wait. No way. Kat's head shot towards her rod. Sure enough, it was glowing! Not very brightly, yeah, but it was glowing! "Forget everything I just said!" she yelled giddily. Not checking if Lamenta was following or not, Kat sprinted across the beach, holding her rod in front of her face. The further she went, the brighter the glow became.'Warmer, warmer, warmer, warmer-' She paused as she noticed the rod begin to dim. 'Colder.' she thought to herself as she turned around. Did she pass it? Backtracking slightly, she glanced at the divining rod. It didn't take long until she found the spot where it glowed the brightest. Kat sighed as she looked down. "It's buried underground." she called out, turning to Lamenta. "Well, this is annoying." She's starting to regret not asking the sage for a damn shovel. Luckily, it was just buried beneath sand, like Lamenta had predicted. "Hey, well you were right about one thing." Kat said, starting the painstaking process of digging the damn thing out with her staff. Under normal circumstances, she'd just do some rock blasting using her Miracle Mine skill, but she didn't want to risk damaging the precious artefact. "It's most definitely buried under a little bit of sand." She sighed. "Well, I say a 'little' bit. I really wouldn't be opposed to any help. Just find a stick or something and help me dig."It took a bit of time, but eventually the two hit something. Looking down the hole they had dug, Kat saw what she assumed to be the piece of the tablet they were after. After retrieving the tablet, Kat sighed once more. "Figures..." she grumbled, handing the tablet piece to Lamenta. "With how worn the tablet's become from all the sand and water, it'd be a miracle if we could get anything at all out of this." The Cleric shook her head. "We can't just give it back to the sage in this condition. I don't know about you, but it just wouldn't seem right to me." Kat paused. An idea. "Lamenta, do you know of any good Artisans that could help with restoring this? I know you're an artisan, but, please don't take any offence to this, I don't mean it as an insult, you're only level one in that field. It'd probably be a good idea to leave something like this to someone with a bit more experience in the field." Kat was racking her brain for artisans, but, alas, no one came to mind. "If not, we could just try to find a lander who knows their stuff."[Word Count: 652

HP: 100% MP: 100% SKILL USED: ??? LAMENTA bard The young bard notice that the foxtail in front of him has been sighing for a quite while, Not surprise, his search has been a major disappointment. As they search, Lamenta make a scoop on the ground, he has doubt, that the fragment may buried too deep that even the rod can't get the trace of it. He hope the small hole could shorten the distance.
As he walk, he swing his rod around hoping for any sign of the fragment. Katarina shows her doubt for a quite moment there until suddenly she got a reaction with her rod. She run away and yelled giddily, well he can't blame that this is a great news, the search will be finished. As he follow the foxtail, his own rod gives a reaction too, he stopped while the cleric still searching. He point the rod to every directions. "not there' the light got dimmer 'well probably' the light got brighter but not bright enough
he took a small step carefully toward where the bright light point. The light got brighter by seconds and suddenly it got dimmer.. He took a step backward and almost crash on Katarina, hopefully she didn't notice. Apparently, she found it first..
The young bard smiled relieved, the wild goose chase is over, he may be complaining along the search. But, he want to finished this journey. He may or may not found anything interesting, but his curiosity over this matter has been turn on considerably late. His curiosity gives him the energy to continue.
Before they can rest, they need to dig out the fragment that got buried. It is supposed to be like that, if they found it on the surface, it is suspicious. Katarina start to dig and ask him to help her, personally he don't want to dirty himself up to this dirty river, who knows that got mixed in the river. He don't want to imagine it. He grabs his flute on his waist, do he has abilities to boost up ally stamina and morales. He can use [battle conduct], however Katarina is not a monster and the soil is not a target. He sighed and released his grab on the flute, it no use he can't avoid the need to help a girl. He bent down and start digging with his divine rod and hand carefully to avoid the fragment from crumble.
It took times to finally found the fragment, Katarina react faster than the young bard and snatched away the table before he could. She observed the tablet and and give the tablet to Lamenta with disappointment. The tablet is far ruined to actually read it, we couldn't possibly gives this to the sage. It will be likely a half assed job if we actually bring this to the sage, and he will not appreciate it.
'None taken' Katarina suggest to search an artisan although himself was an Artisan, however himself is quite sure that he is not capable to restore this tome with his current level. He need is an Artisan whose level is high enough or a landers who knows about this stuff.
'Then let's search for landers then.. I don't know any Artisan that level is high enough to do this. Lets hop around the city and not waste a time shall we'
