The group’s decision was that they go ahead and head north… or rather there weren’t any complaints. The guardian, Jane, did ask what it was like up north… well it seemed that Capsule’s companion had some ideas… though Capsule wasn’t for those ideas so she didn’t say anything about them.
“<He’s quite the character>,” Yuki’s tail twitched a few times after Aleksei was done talking, but Sayha chose not to respond to the fox right aay.
“I am not sure, Jane,” Sayha responded after a moment, “I think it will just be best to prepare for whatever may or may not happen. The best way to start out is with basic supplies like food, water, blankets, lanterns, and that sort of thing. We should be able to buy supplies from the Landers around here… I recall a market area being not too far away from here. If we happen to split up in the market area, let’s meet back here and just wait for the others.” Sayha then nodded and began to head towards the market area.
“<You know, you’re pretty bossy when Hiro and Saiph aren’t around>,” Yuki commented as Sayha made her way down the streets which thankfully weren’t extremely crowded.
“<You know, I’m starting to wonder if I shouldn’t have left you at home,>” Sayha responded.
“<But then you’d be stuck alone with a bunch of girls>,” Yuki replied.
“<You do realize you’re female too, right?>” Sayha rolled her eyes slightly.
Yuki didn’t comment any further which caused Sayha smirked, patting her head a few times. Just about that time was when she saw her first shop. Sayha headed in, holding the door open for any of the others that were still following her. After everyone was inside Sayha began to look around, checking out what might be useful for the trip.

"So... the kind of things I normally wouldn't bother with?" Jane replied, a slight grumble evident in her tone. "I guess I probably should have purchased that kind of stuff anyway with how often I just wander out... call of home always beat camping though."Jane would soon find herself following after Sayha, not really having any better idea for gathering supplies than what the Assassin had already suggested. As soon as the chibi guardian walked into the store that they were stating with her mind immediately snapped to a more productive setting. Looking around at their options she would ask anyone who was there. "We don't know how long we're going to be out there so we should probably overprovision for our worst expectation. Main thing to figure out is how much and what sort of quality we'd need in the food we should choose. Adventurer made would probably be best, to keep us all sane, but if we just want to save and get the bare essentials we could just get some bland, cheap stuff." Tilting her head in thought at her own statement, Jane said something that had probably occurred to everyone in some way or another, "I guess the same could be said of everything we need to get, which comes back to my thought that we need to get more than we expect we'll need. You never know when something like this is going to take more out of you than expected."On the inside, Cedric was finding it a lot of fun to be talking provisioning like this, it really took him back to the days of running D&D campaigns for his friends, and how there was a bit of a love-hate relationship between him and them when he made them organise themselves to be able to survive, or at least seem prepared, for the trials he had prepared ahead of them. Granted, they had a bit more information to go off of compared to this little group, ready to strike it out into a place they really didn't know. W: 346 Tag: @shadowsaiph @bornfromvelvet Capsule

[attr="class","solcap"] Capsule, used to Aleksei flying off into a tangent every once in a while, could block him out at times like these. He was still grumbling to himself as they set off to prowl the markets. This being so close to her home, and with little need to really go anywhere else unless the need was so great, she knew where to go in terms of supplies or hiking gear. One of the small towns outside of the city had a store that sold both to Adventurers heading out to Snowdonia or Partridge. But if the North really was based on Scotland...
"...Yeah, you guys go on ahead." Jane and Kat could play follow the leader with Sayha, if they so desired. Capsule was not great when it came to dealing with kids (assuming Jane was not one of those weird lolicon guys), and small talk was definitely not her forte. Why else would she be in possession of the Animal Training subclass? To Aleksei, she patted and softly said «You know the drill.»
The bear begrudgingly lowered himself, body hugging the ground so that Capsule could dismount with ease. From here on out, the streets would get too crowded with people for him to freely move about. It would also render her less easily spotted within the crowd. And with her being short now...
Capsule bobbed and weaved around taller and squatter Adventurers. The shop of which her entrance wrung the bell of, was a simple sporting goods store. It had nearly everything your average Adventurer could ask for: hunting knives, bows and arrows, an assortment of leather balls, etc.
What she needed was further in back, in the well-organized camping section.
She grabbed a heavy backpack and slung one end over her shoulder. The first thing she dumped into it was a machete, followed by several canteens to store water, matches, several packs of penguin jerky, an assortment of granola bars, and a towel. You could never have too many towels.
With her backpack stuffed with as much as she could carry, Capsule loaded her arms up with a bedroll for herself. By now, the Enchanter could hardly be seen with her current load. Far from done, however, she added four rain coats and rain hats to the mix. From what she knew of the country, Scotland was rainy and cold. Hopefully the rest of the group also had their own winter gear, if it came to that. 'Alright. Glad to know we're all on the same page here.' Kat thought to herself sarcastically, as Sayha admitted that she had no idea what awaited them up north. Kat agreed with the general message of her statement however. They needed to make preparations for anything that may happen. Unfortunately, considering the fact that they had no idea what was up north, "anything" was a fairly vague term. Sayha suggested that they start out buying the essentials, so food, water, blankets, stuff like that. Kat nodded in agreement. "We can worry about anything else we may need later." Given the fact that Katarina did not know her way around Avon, she resigned herself to just following Sayha again. Jane seemed to be in the same boat as Kat, although Capsule decided she wanted to split away from the party. For some reason, Katarina wasn't surprised.
Eventually, the three made it to their first store, Kat looking around for anything that may be of use. After glancing around the store, Jane spoke up, contemplating whether they should get Adventurer-made food or some bland food off of the Landers. Jane paused, before adding that they should probably get more than they thought they would need. "Agreed. Better to be over-prepared than under. In regards to food, I say we just go for the cheap stuff. Sure, my taste buds will probably end up hating me for saying that, but it seems like a better idea to try and save some more money to get other things we'll need. You know, like winter gear. We are heading to the North after all, and while yes, the devs didn't exactly copy everything from the real world and yes, there's a real chance that the devs decided to make it nothing like what we're expecting, it never hurts to be prepared." Kat stated, directing the last part at Jane. Kat paused. "Thinking about it, we probably should've asked our guide about the area. Hindsight is 20/20, I suppose."

Three out of four sticking together. That wasn’t too bad, especially considering that Capsule was the fourth who as going off on her own. From what Sayha knew of the Enchanter, it wasn’t that big of a surprise. She seemed to like to go off on her own if she had the opportunity. It wasn’t a bad thing, and Sayha had given that option.
Though as Sayha stood in the store, she went over what would be needed. Thankfully, they had gone into an odd supply store. She picked up an assortment of knives, blankets, a lantern, a flashlight, some matches… it was kind of hard to think of supplies when she herself had never been camping. Though Katarina had mentioned getting warmer gear. That was a fair thought. Sayha the fleet jacket that she was wearing, but she picked up a thicker cloak that would go over the jacket. That seemed to be it for that store. After Sayha put the items she bought in her inventory, she headed to the next nearby store that had a variety of foods. Sayha picked out foods that would last a while such as hard cakes and jerky of different meats she didn’t want to know. She also made sure to buy plenty of water.
Sayha organized everything she had bought in her inventory interface. Doing so, she thought of some other items that would be good to buy. She went into a third store and bought a tent as well as a sleeping bag.
When Sayha was happy with the items she bought, she waited for Jane and Katarina to finish their shopping. Once they had caught up to her, she began to make her way back to where she said was the meeting spot.

Seeing that Katarina seemed to agree with her, Jane decided to pretty much follow suite with Sayha, collecting exactly what she was getting, but grabbing a few extra things in the event that they'd need more. There wasn't much to grab really, so overstocking wouldn't be too bad. Even if they did run out of space in what limited inventory they may have, there was always the option of grabbing a pack and stacking things physically. If only real life had been that easy when going places. Seeing as Sayha seemed to know this area best, Jane would follow after her as she switched between shops, occasionally glancing back to make sure that Katarina was still following. The place was enough of a hub of activity without the extra horde of adventurers that seemed to be flowing around in search of the man with the three subclasses. If either she or Kat got lost, their chances of finding their way back were considerably lower than the other two. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that, and the three of them could meet back with Capsule at the meeting point. Tag: @shadowsaiph @bornfromvelvet CapsuleW: 188

[attr="class","solcap"] The amount she had to pay for her goods was as to be expected: a measly sum of eight hundred and twenty five gold. The extra twenty five bothered her more than anything. Eight hundred gold was just a drop in the bucket to her. When you knew where to look or how to play the markets, getting ahead in the life of Elder Tale was as easy as swiping candy from a baby.
Rather than just chuck everything into her inventory, Capsule resorted to loading her bear up like a pack mule, by affixing her bedroll and a few of the larger objects to his broad back. The polar bear silently snarled as Capsule reacquainted herself in her rightful place, but now with the comfort of thick fabric to lean back against. It felt nice, though she may be forced to properly store some of these items away for later.
People had more of a reason to stare now as the girl and bear made their way back to the meeting spot. They were clearly getting geared up for something, and with the stranger running amok and going on and on about the North, it was fairly obvious that the Enchanter and her bear were just one of many questing Adventurers. Her two party members seemed to agree with her suggestion, Sayha grabbing a thick cloak and Jane following suit. Katarina considered grabbing a cloak herself for reasons she had already explained, but decided against it. Her overcoat would be suffice. She did grab a woollen scarf though. She may as well keep try to keep her neck as warm as possible. Katarina grabbed a couple of other items from the store, simple things such as matches and the like, before Sayha had them move on to another store nearby. Jane kept glancing behind her, checking if Kat was following. Her concern wasn't really necessary, since Kat was basically stuck to Sayha's back the entire time, making sure not to lose sight of her. There was no way she was going to put herself through the embarrassment of getting separated from the party before they even got to the North. The group went to a couple of other stores in the area, Katarina grabbing a fair amount of the essentials, and eventually decided to head back to the meeting spot. ...It was a good thing Sayha was here, since Kat had completely forgotten where the meeting spot was.
