A gentle breeze carried pollen on the air, causing Dagger to let out a loud sneeze as he carried himself out from Londinium. Dagger had brought himself out here to get a bit more training in, mainly to get more used to the interesting mechanic of his class. The samurai rose to his feet and headed for the nearby group of Pittered Boars. He had spent the last few hours simply observing their patterns and behavior. He had marveled at just how lifelike they were, eating grass and nuzzling one another, it was almost a shame to kill them. Almost.

Drawing his sword he looked it over, grimacing at the shoddy design of the thing. He knew it was starter gear, but still, couldn't they have made it look less... worn out? Ah well, he'd fix that sooner or later by replacing it. For now it would do more than enough for what he was after. Gripping the massive blade in both hands he moved forward, targeting a boar that had moved just a bit too far from the herd.

The Young Boar grazed blissfully on a tuft of grass as Dagger stood next to it. He activated his scholar skill of Evaluate, checking to make sure that it possessed no skills he could be taken by surprise with. After confirming this, he braced himself and took a simple fighting stance, holding his sword in both hands at his side as he breathed in.

'Lead in with Iaido, follow with Youkaigiri and finish with Mawarufuusen. Simple 'nough, right? So long as I don't restart the Chain it should last a time,right?'

He wasn't entirely sure on how the Chain Nemesis passive really worked, namely how long it lasted. He knew that if he initiated Iaido again or simply used his Chain 1 skill again he would restart it. The boar had taken a step away from him, seemingly unconcerned with the Samurai's presence as he mentally prepared. Finally, he breathed out and gave a quick slash, the Passive Iaido taking into effect. He moved into the next attack, bringing the blade around as it glowed a bright cyan color as he brought his zweihander down onto the Boar, dropping its HP a bit more. It wasn't dead, heck it wasn't even half-way dead but it was something.

Dagger took a step back as the boar turned and prepared to attack him. He wasn't going to be getting out of the way very easily, but at least he would take reduced damage if he tried to block. As the boar charged he placed his sword between them and braced himself, causing the boar to ram into him for a direct hit. His HP dropped slowly, but it could have been worse, right? As the boar recovered from the recoil, Dagger stepped back once more and brought his weapon above his head. He began to spin it around, imitating the blades of a helicopter as winds began to pick up around him, drawing the boar close. He had no plans to keep the skill up for long as he brought the blade down onto the boar as it scrambled to try and get some distance for another charge. This time, he hit harder thanks to the Chain 2 skill he had just used. Now he focused on basic strikes, using his own body to swing the weapon around with strike after strike, slowly chopping away at the Boar's health.

As he dispatched the creature he planted the sword into the ground, catching his breath as he looked at his HP bar. About a fourth of it was gone, not to mention the physical weariness he had from swinging this thing around. He looked around, making sure nothing would come up and aggro him before he took a seat. He needed to rest for a little bit, if for no better reason than to simply recover his HP. He looked up to the sun, noticing that time had seemed to barely pass, the sun only having moved maybe a few degrees during his combat. He shook his head, wondering if he should switch from this massive blade to something a little easier to hold. But, that was a discussion for a later time, for now it was all he had and he needed to get better with the weapon before he could complain more about it. Besides, what were his options?

	While he rested, he figured he would at least ponder the possibilities of weaponry. If he continued with two-hand weapons, he would be slow to attack, though he would hit much harder than if he used one-handed weaponry, however with the other type he could perform his chains faster. He gave an exasperated sigh as he rose to his feet, gripping the sword as he pulled it from the earth. Tiny bits of soil stuck to the blade, falling off from breeze and gravity combined as he watched them intently. It was just like the real world, either the game was really well-coded or that freak accident made this world real. This intrigued him, what was it that could actually cause people to be drawn into a video game? I mean, if it were anything like those futuristic anime that his school friends had shown him, where everyone was wearing some strange device for virtual reality, then it would be a lot more obvious as to how. But he had just been sitting in front of a screen when it happened. He gave the sword a swing, discarding the dirt back to where it came from before turning his attention back towards the herd of boars. He activated his Evaluate skill once more, names and levels popping up above each creature he focused on. Several dozen Young Pittered Boars with around five fully grown Pittered Boars surveying the area. As far as he knew, so long as he kept out of the older Boars' aggro ranges he should be good to kill a few more of the Young ones. He hoisted the sword and laid it on his shoulder, walking over to another boar. He took a deep breath before bringing the sword down on the small creature. Bringing the blade around he carved a line in the ground before slashing the creature with an upward slice, bringing the sword to crash against the ground behind him. He followed through with an overhead swing, crashing down on the boar as it rammed into him. He could feel both the impact from the sword and the Boar connecting. He gritted his teeth as he lifted the sword once more. Both he and the young boar had regained their footing, staring each other down as Dagger poised himself for another attack. He waited for the boar to charge him before slamming the blade down on top of it, causing it to buckle under the impact as he lifted the blade and repeated the attack one, two, three more times. The Young Boar's HP bar withered away as its body dissolved into dust. Dagger sighed, holding himself against his sword. Normally physical labor like this wouldn't be so bad, but this damned armor was weighing him down. Hell, he might look into reducing his armor as well, speed seemed like it would be a lot better than heavy armor, especially if he switched to a sword and board strategy... could he actually do that? No... no he couldn't. But he could probably dual-wield to increase his damage output further... or perhaps train in how to use the shield. No, he'd either go through with the dual-wield idea or stay with two-handed swords. It didn't matter much to him, he could get used to things as soon as he could switch armors. For now though, he'd take a seat and recover the near half of his health he had lost in that rather reckless battle. He laid down on the grass for a time, holding his sword next to him as he watched the clouds gently roll by. "Well, the weather is real a'right. Can't be more thankful f'er this breeze." He chuckled lightly as he turned to watch the boars again. They had a slight coat of fur, hairs on their nose bristling as they brushed them against the grass at their feet. It was still incredibly interesting just how much detail everything had. Reaching down he pulled a few blades of grass from their roots, examining them while he watched his HP bar slowly restore. It looked just like normal grass, probably a different species but possibly related to crabgrass, but more low-lying. He sat up, turning the lump of plant matter over in his hand to examine the bottom. Where the grass had been broken from the rest of its body he could see the tiny veins, a small amount of clear liquid, probably water pooling on the end. "Heck, f'er all I know... this turf's real as back home."

	This world featured physics and appearance so similar to the real world that you could easily forget that you hadn't been here all your life in the first place. Dagger looked at his hand, remarking at what was now his current appearance. It was nice to look... better than he used to, but of course there was a portion of him that missed his old body. He thought back on his home, the small farm he had grown up on with his three brothers and two sisters. He wondered what they were doing, besides the obvious farm chores that were the first things his mind responded with. Heck, could he even remember their names at this point? As much time as Cliff had spent away from his family when given the chance he didn't have much to do with his siblings. He started to regret that, and wondered if perhaps, none of them missed him. He was sort of a 'black sheep' when the family was considered. Hazelfield, his hometown, was a tightly knit community of farmers who were, basically, one massive family. Sure, not everyone was related, but everyone knew who you were, what you were doing, and worst of all, who you had interests in. Rumors spread like wildfire, and everyone knew that Cliff had no intention of becoming a farmer like his father. He couldn't count how many times the Elders used to chide him and make fun of his interests. He gave a long sigh, checking his HP bar to find it fully refilled. He rose to his feet, dusting the light coating of dirt his backside had collected and picking up his sword. He picked out another Young Boar, moving over to it before readying himself. He took a deep breath, exhaling as he unleashed his Iaido Strike, quickly following through with another Youkaigiri, charging the blade with mana before unleashing a side-long swipe with the blade. His second swing knocked the Young Boar a small distance away, allowing Dagger to keep the momentum going with his blade, raising it above his head and spinning it around, performing the Mawarufuusen Technique. As the boar was recovering its body was being slowly pulled towards Dagger, and once it had gotten back within range he ended the skill and used the blade's momentum to bring a heavy strike down onto the creature. That attack had ended up doing much more damage than any of his others, an attribute to which Dagger had considered the possibility of a critical strike. Stepping forward, rolling his grip on his sword as he did so, he brought the sword up for another overhead swing, crashing down right on the Boar's neck to end its life. With a sigh, Dagger relaxed himself, thinking everything was over. Unfortunately for him, that final action had gotten him some rather unwanted attention. It started as a small vibration in the ground, almost passable as just a tingling in his feet, though it quickly grew audible and the vibration grew in strength tenfold. Looking around, he spotted what was causing such a phenomenon, and found himself staring straight at the one thing he didn't want to see here. It seemed that while he was preoccupied fighting the Young Boars, the rare spawn, Iron-tusked Gerald had spawned, and worst of all had witnessed Dagger dispatching one of his kin. He only had enough time to activate Evaluate to at least see what he was about to be hit with, before he was impaled by one of the monster's tusks and thrown a fair distance away. "Rampant Charge... Great." He was bleeding, his HP down to a quarter of its maximum. He was lucky to have held onto his blade, as he got back on his feet as the monster turned and ran back at him. If nothing, he would at least get one strike on the darned beast before being dispatched. He braced himself, attempting to move out of the way at the last minute before unleashing an Iaido Strike on the creature. However, he was too slow to move out of the way, but thanks to the skill itself, he had at least dealt a pixel of damage to the monster's health bar. Everything went black, before he felt cold stone on his face. Pushing himself up onto his feet, he found himself back at the Sanctuary in town. He gave a sigh, running a hand over his stomach as the lingering pain of that attack washed over him. "Ya know... I think it's right time I took a break." Without further delay, he headed off, looking for a place that served lemonade, and hopefully bacon.
