As many of you are aware from the various conversations had in the cbox, the staff, along with the help of a few members, has been hard at work to bring some updates to the forum. These updates are in-depth and time consuming endeavors. However, we have made quite a bit of progress. I am ready to share some of this with you all. The first of many things we have done, and continue to do, was to go through each and every recipe and remove duplicates, crafts which no longer (or ever) truly served a purpose and to clear up odd wording, etc. This part has been completed and that is what you will see here. We are in the middle of creating the materials needed and you will see some of the crafting recipes show suggested materials. Until such time as the materials are completed in their entirety, we will continue to use the current material costs for gold but we want to begin using these new, updated crafting lists as soon as possible. I have taken the time to organize the lists in a way which I think is much easier on the eyes.
Regarding Arcanist: Arcanist is a new crafting class which we intend to release as soon as possible. A lot of work on it has been completed but we did not feel it was ready to show you guys yet.
Regarding Culinarian: This crafting class is a combination of Brewer and Chef, which individually do not exist anymore. Anyone with either of these two crafting classes will now be considered a Culinarian. More information is coming on AP transfer.
Please take this time to review the changes and leave your thoughts, comments and questions for us. We have spent hours upon hours, often staying up late into the night, to work on these updates and I will only allow constructive criticism to take place here. It's okay if you do not like a change or feel a change was made without proper consideration - you can point that out to us but please do so kindly. For some, this may be a big change and change is always scary. We will do our best to answer questions and, if necessary, adjust things.
I have no exact date of when the recipes will be officially switched over but I promise to give at least 72 hours for discussion before doing so. It may end up being slightly longer due to my work schedule but please use this time to discuss this update.
Thanks.
Update: I forgot to mention that with the new recipes, we have post requirements for things. These posts must be a minimum of 250 words each.

The Crafting Recipes placeholder for quote about crafting recipes Each crafting class has the ability to enhance and advance the lives of the people living in this world through unique skills bestowed upon them. The following is a list of each Crafting class and the recipes available to them. ALCHEMIST | ARCANIST | SCRIBE | Alchemy, being a rather mystical form of craftsmanship, was a rather challenging concept to many adventurers who had chosen this subclass as their side profession. The process of becoming an Alchemist often requires not only a great deal of research into what materials are compatible with one another, but also a lot of creativity in order to create items previously unheard of in the game. Alchemists seek to bridge the gap between Magic and Science; their specialty is Magitech, a classification of magic-powered technologies that have previously been lost to the Ancient Times. These crafts vary between utility items such as teleportation crystals to condensed mana fragments, although there is a rumor that some have delved into the science fiction genre in their development of weapons...
| Arcanist is a class intended to bridge the gap between crafting and reforging with the goal of explaining how weapons obtain magical properties to enhance them, such as increased magic damage, decreased mana usage, etc. Arcanist's are extremely intune with the elements and can easily understand the core composition of an object, down to the magical properties which construct it. Using this knowledge, they are able to modify the core of an object, passing along magical properties intended for specific purposes.
| Scribes handle all sorts of tasks when it comes to physical documents. Their primary ability is to create virtual copies of any document by simply having an available reference. This allowed a small population of scribes to take up roles as lawyers by writing up and officializing contracts. One of their greatest applications, however, is in their ability of cartography. By observing their surroundings, a scribe can record their environment in the form of maps, which allows them to navigate the world without any fear of getting lost. Their power serves as a compass, making them very common companions when navigating through fog or on the high seas.
| ARTISAN | CULINARIAN | PHARMACIST | Artisans pride themselves on the ability to create fine works of art using everyday materials and their own skill. After finding themselves in a ruined city, it is said that many of those who had taken this subclass dedicated themselves to restore the former beauty of the city. Their works are flexible and are primarily sold to those aiming to upgrade their homes and guild halls, and there are ample opportunities for an Artisan's work to be recognized by affluent People of the Land aristocrats. While they may possess little practical applications for crafting items for battle, their ability to make money on commissioned works is excellent.
| In the world of Elder Tale, it is not necessary for one to eat food to survive. Regardless, the body's natural instincts make it difficult to survive without wanting to eat. Much of the playerbase was dismayed as soon as they had tried the available food in the world, where everything tasted the same no matter what it looked like. The only foods that actually tasted as they did in real life were the basic ingredients. Knowing this, some chefs attempted to experiment on their own, utilizing their own cooking knowledge rather than relying on the system. As such, where others failed and resulted in inedible mush, the chefs were able to create basic dishes that reminded them of home. As such, the chefs' talent is in creating food that provides temporary stat buffs, but above all, morale.
| Pharmacists are the specialists in creating various potions and drugs needed for survival on the battlefield. Whether you desire HP restoration, status healing, or even a cure for that painful hangover after that last night's party, they have a potion for your every need. Additionally, taking pharmacist as a subclass allows one to resist the side effects of overdose and toxicity. It also allows them to examine any suspicious potions and assess its properties, an excellent asset when sizing up questionable dealers.
| BLACKSMITH | MECHANIC | TAILOR | Considering Elder Tale's nature as a fantasy MMORPG, it is no surprise that the role of the Blacksmith is a centralized position well respected among the crafting and general community. The blacksmith is able to refine scrap metal and old tools into material and upgraded weapons. No matter what class you are, as long as you use anything metal-based, it is necessary for you to gain the favor of these crafters if you want to survive on the frontlines for a long time. Their unparalleled experience with metalwork also makes them excellent partners with prospective mechanics.
| It was revealed that players were able to design inventions that existed in real life if they were able to replicate the technique in game without relying on conventional recipes. This enabled the creation of a steam engine on the Japanese server Yamato, and other reinventions of modern conveniences continue to be innovated with each passing day. Further research into engineering include the desire to create modernized contraptions such as firearms and vehicles. With this advent in mind, some have begun to talk about the possibility of airships.
| Considering the implications of starting on a new server, all players logged into the game with essentially the same type of basic adventurer outfit. It was not long before tailors came into great demand as players not only sought to customize their appearance, but also to request cloth and leather battle equipment or to decorate their homes and guild halls. Considering the amount of classes that regularly use these two types of equipment, it came as no surprise that tailors were often likened to blacksmiths in their practical necessities.
| WOODCRAFTER | TBA | TBA | These specialists in wood crafting serve as excellent carpenters due to their ability to make long-lasting furniture and houses. Because the majority of buildings are priced by their physical condition, it is not uncommon for a woodcrafter to be able to buy up a highly bargained building, fix it all up, and then resell at a high profit. They are the architects of the new world, and a valuable asset for anyone wanting to start a home or guild.
| A placeholder slot for a future crafting class which may or may not ever exist. If you have a suggestion for a new crafting class, please contact a moderator or create a new thread in the Support / Suggestions subforum.

Alchemist Recipes witty comment about alchemy. The following is a list of recipes that are available to the Alchemist crafting class. An Alchemist begins with a Starter Pack which provides the basic, but necessary, tools and equipment for crafting.
Q: If needed, question about Alchemy crafting.
A: If needed, answer about Alchemy crafting.
Available at Level 1
Reinforced Wire | Level 1 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 1 Alchemist Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 1 Post
A stronger piece of wire that is reinforced by mana during its creation, despite not being intrinsically magical itself. It conducts mana well, an analogous conductor for mana as copper might be for electricity or heat. Useful for future projects but no more than a shiny wire for now.
|
Available at Level 5 Stabilised Mana Fragment | Level 5 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 5 Alchemist Materials: 2 Mana Fragments Posts Required: 1 Post
Originally researched by Alchemist Endrin. A stabilized mana fragment that can even be held with bare hands without the energy immediately dissipating into the body. It is still very fragile, however, and will immediately shatter if even if struck by a moderate force. Mana Fragments should be kept in a well-protected container if transported. A Stabilized Mana Fragment can also be used to substitute for any two Mana Fragments in a single recipe.
|
Standard Essence | Level 5 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 5 Alchemist Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 1 Post
A simple fluid substance, amorphous in nature, this "Essence" is designed to be like a liquid mirror, capturing the cloudy reflection of a moment or object, and put it into a somewhat solid, tangible form. And, similar to how a liquid works, this item will morph to fit a container it is put in, but if held in one's hand, it will remain in a globule like form, akin to a slime. While this is merely meant to capture concepts and nothing too specialized, it is a stepping stone to more advanced capturing techniques.
|
Available at Level 10 I/O Regulator | Level 10 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Alchemist Materials: 1 Stabilized Mana Fragment, 1 Reinforced Wire Posts Required: 1 Post
Originally researched by Alchemist Scoria. This item basically acts as an on/off switch for Mana-Powered devices, allowing for the flow of mana between the user (or some other source of magic) and the device. When the regulator is switched up, the device is 'on', and uses up mana as determined by the device itself; this connection ends when the regulator is switched off.
|
Magitech Audio Storage | Level 10 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Alchemist Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
An enchanted stone that is crafted with the ability to record and playback a finite amount of sound. It can record up to 20 minutes at base, with 1 additional minute per item level.
|
Mana Shard | Level 10 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Alchemist Materials: 1 Stabilized Mana Fragment, 2 Mana Fragments Posts Required: 3 Posts
A Stabilised Mana Fragment with its magical energy converted to a semi-volatile state, and formed into a shard that can be used as a throwing weapon. While it may be stable enough to carry or hold in one's hand, impact with anything when thrown or smashed will cause the fragment to discharge a minor amount of energy, dealing 0.1% damage on impact for every 2 item levels. Of course, lower quality fragments have a small chance to backfire on the user and become duds that simply scatter with no explosion.
|
Available at Level 15 Magitech Inductor | Level 15 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 15 Alchemist Materials: 1 Stabilized Mana Fragment, 1 I/O Regulator Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Alchemist Scoria. Combining the stable form of the mana fragment and the channeling of mana through the I/O Regulator, this item is designed to allow mana to be switched on and off wirelessly. If this device is used as a material component for a "Mana-Powered" recipe, the crafted item can be turned on/off and powered from a distance instead of through hand-to-object contact. Range is 10 feet, plus 1 additional foot for every 5 levels.
|
Mana-Powered Flashlight | Level 15 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 15 Alchemist Materials: 3 Mana Fragments, 1 I/O Regulator or Magitech Inductor Posts Required: 2 Posts
A stronger, brighter light than it's Lamp cousin, the Mana-Powered Flashlight creates a coned beam of mana-infused light that reaches out in a single direction for 40 feet, plus 1 additional foot for every 5 levels. Requires a constant connection to the user's mana to work, using up 5% MP, which regenerates after the flashlight is turned off. The light has a blue color due to using mana as a power source.
|
Mana-Powered Lamp | Level 15 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 15 Alchemist Materials: 5 Mana Fragments, 1 I/O Regulator or Magitech Inductor Posts Required: 3 Posts
This lamp is designed to emit light in all possible directions, as opposed to the singular direction of the Flashlight, though at the cost of decreased range and a dimmer light. Reaches out in a complete 360 degree range, out at 10 feet from the Lamp, plus 1 additional foot for every 5 levels. Requires a constant connection the the user's mana to work, using up 5% MP, which regenerates after the lamp is turned off. The light has a blue color due to using mana as a power source.
|
Available at Level 20 Advanced Essence | Level 20 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Alchemist Materials: 1 Standard Essence, 1 Stabilized Mana Fragment Posts Required: 2 Posts
By combining the basic form of the Standard Essence with a stabilized energy core, the new Advanced Essence becomes much more adept at capturing sensations, the Stabilized Mana Fragment essentially refining the essence and "clearing up" the image captured. In a sense, this amorphous form captures the memory of a specific object, recording it in it's various senses, like the object's appearance or how it smells or it's taste. The essence starts off only being able to record a single sense of an object, but every 20 levels it can memorize another sense. With it's sixth sense unlocked, it can record the emotions and physical memory of an object in tangible form.
|
Alchemist's Gloves | Level 20 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Alchemist Materials: Insulating Gloves, 1 Magitech Inductor Posts Required: 1 Posts
Originally researched by Alchemist Scoria. This recipe is designed to improve the Insulating Gloves included in the Alchemist Crafting Pack, by combining the material of the gloves with a Magitech Inductor, this allows for the gloves to be used to power objects from a specified range, as determined by the quality of the Inductor. This item is considered as Insulating Gloves in any recipe.
|
Mana-Powered Liner Shield | Level 20 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Alchemist Materials: 10 Mana Fragments, 1 Magitech Inductor Posts Required: 4 Posts
Originally researched by Alchemist Tessia. A specialized accessory, this item is attached to the user's armor or clothing. When the user is struck with a physical attack, the accessory activates, creating a shield infused with mana that increases physical defense by 5%, plus an additional 1% for every 5 item levels. The shield lasts for 1 post cycle after activation, and then cannot activate again for another 3 post cycles. This accessory cannot be reforged.
|
Unstable Mana Core | Level 20 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Alchemist, knowledge of Stabilised Mana Fragment Materials: 1 Mana Core Shell, 5 Mana Fragments Posts Required: 3 Posts
Originally researched by Alchemist Vayne. A moderate source of psyche energy produced by over saturating mana into a compact shell, designed and crafted by a Mechanic to house the condensed and unstable power of the Mana Fragments. It is the opposite of the Stabilized Fragment, providing greater energy but at the sacrifice of stability. It's mainly used for appliances which require self-sustaining power, allowing for magitech that don't need constant Mana Fragment replacements. An Unstable Mana Core can also be used to substitute for any 5 Mana Fragments in a single recipe.
|
Available at Level 25 [Element] Source Sphere | Level 25 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 25 Alchemist Materials: 1 Unstable Mana Core; Alchemist's Gloves needed in inventory Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Alchemist Scoria. A highly pure sample of a specified element manipulated using Alchemist's Gloves and contained within an Unstable Mana Core. Higher level Alchemists and materials allow for purer sources of the chosen element. Combining the element within a Mana Core allows for the power generated to be focused for more specific tasks such as heat or cooling. Element can be one of either: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth, Wind, Water, Light, and Darkness.
|
Telepathy Countermeasure | Level 25 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 25 Alchemist Materials: 1 Unstable Mana Core, 1 Reinforced Wire, 1 I/O Regulator Posts Required: 3 Posts
A magitech device utilized by the Stratford Wardens as a way to prevent communications between Heretic collaborators who could relay orders through telepathy. This simple device consists of Reinforced Wire that is turned into a circuit hooked up to an Unstable Mana Core. An I/O Regulator on the side of the device pushes the circuit into place, causing the unstable core to become rapidly depleted. This causes mana to become released into the atmosphere in short but strong pulses, distorting the sounds of any telepathy communication that happens to be occurring nearby. The device itself is silent but the light from depleted mana it emits is very obvious. A recipient of the telepathy message will usually find themselves having trouble hearing and sometimes even understanding the affected party. The effective range of a Telepathy Countermeasure in meters is equal to its item level divided by 5. The effect lasts for an amount of seconds equal to its item level unless it is turned off or broken. After a Telepathy Countermeasure is used, it becomes non-functional for the rest of the thread.
|
Available at Level 30 Lunar Illusion | Level 30 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 30 Alchemist Materials: 1 Grimoire, 1 Reloader Contract, 1 Stabilised Mana Fragment Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Alchemist Scoria. An extension of the contract between a weapon and it's user through the Reloader Contract, the Lunar Illusion allows for instant reloading of one's weapon with ammunition made of mana, with the Grimoire allowing for increased range, all of this at the cost of 5% MP per shot; furthermore, the Illusion contract must be kept on person in an accessory slot. The weapon that is contracted must be of equal or lower level than the Lunar Illusion itself, and the weapon is permanently tied to the user, making it untradeable.
|
Portable Cooking Stove | Level 30 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 30 Alchemist Materials: 1 Fire Source Sphere, 1 Reinforced Wire, 1 I/O Regulator Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Mechanic Bailin. A small box-like stove used for cooking while out in the field. Powered by a mana-charged Fire Source Sphere and turned on and off using an I/O Regulator connected to the Sphere through a Reinforced Wire. Very useful when heading into dangerous dungeons where one cannot find good wood or tinder to light a fire. It is designed solely for cooking food and preparing Culinarian recipes, and so is fairly useless at generating external heat to prevent freezing or keep oneself warm. Using this in a crafting thread will increase your effective Culinarian level by 2 when crafting food items, but once the thread ends, the Unstable Mana Core will deactivate, rendering the stove useless.
|
Mana-Powered Fridge | Level 30 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 30 Alchemist Materials: 1 Ice Source Sphere, 1 Reinforced Wire, 1 I/O Regulator Posts Required: 3 Posts
A hollow box powered by an Ice Source Sphere, which is connected through a Reinforced Wire to an I/O Regulator that can be used to turn the fridge on and off. The generation of ice by the Sphere into the empty compartment creates a specialized container that is used to keep anything kept inside chilled, such as food or drinks. The Source Sphere is somewhat unstable, meaning the outside of the Fridge will be very cold to the touch, so use gloves when closing or opening it. If put into a furniture/decoration slot, the Mana-Powered Fridge gives +2 INN and +3 CUL.
|
Available at Level 45 Black Dust (1 Pound) | Level 45 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 45 Alchemist Materials: 1 Charcoal, 2 Potassium Nitrate, 1 Gallon Drum Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Alchemist Saber. A black powdery substance which is highly volatile. In its current form, the powder is not deadly. However, upon applying a slight amount of open flame to the powder, it will ignite. Lower amounts of the powder will simply burn. Larger amounts of the powder can, and will, explode. Increase the amount of powder and more heat to create a larger explosion. Keep this item away from any sources of high heat or open flames. Store it in a sealed and thermal resistant container during transport. You have been warned.
|
Available at Level 60 Magitech Grenade | Level 60 Alchemist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 60 Alchemist Materials: 1 Grenade Shell, 1 Basic Rope, 1 Pound of Black Dust Posts Required: 4 Posts
Originally researched by Alchemist Saber. This weaponized form of hand-held magic is a virtual form of a grenade from the world before. It is just slightly bigger than the average palm and nestles comfortably into one's grip. It operates using a two-pin safety system and houses enough Black Dust to blast the shell into hundreds of small pieces of shrapnel. To activate the grenade, it's as simple as yanking on the main lever; causing two pieces of flint within the grenade to light the fuse. Said fuse burns for a short amount of time, depending on the length of the fuse, before lighting the explosive powder within. Due to the tight space and compression, the Black Dust erupts and explodes. This weapon of doom causes 15% fire damage in a 5 foot radius, plus an additional 0.25% for each item level, and causes a minor bleeding effect that lasts for 3 post cycles.

Scribe Recipes witty comment about scribes. The following is a list of recipes that are available to the Scribe crafting class. A Scribe begins with a Starter Pack which provides the basic, but necessary, tools and equipment for crafting.
Q: If needed, question about Scribe crafting.
A: If needed, answer about Scribe crafting.
Available at Level 1
Magic Ink | Level 1 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 1 Scribe Materials: 1 Mana Fragment, To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
Enchanted ink that glows with mana when text created from the ink is read. It seems to possess properties of magical ability. As Scribes do not possess the ability to extract Mana Fragments, they will generally require an Alchemist's assistance.
|
Parchment Paper | Level 1 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 1 Scribe Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 1 Post
Decent quality paper brought up by taking old pieces of paper, soaking them together, then merging the fibers together to create a paper that doesn't tear quite as easily. Its quality depends on the level of the materials used to make it, but even still, it's just about as durable as a thin piece of paper.
|
Covers | Level 1 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 1 Scribe Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
Using specific materials, a Scribe can craft together special bindings and sheets that go around a stack of pages to create a book. What goes in the book depends on the recipe, but at least with this you aren't carrying just a pile of paper.
|
Available at Level 5 District Map | Level 5 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 5 Scribe Materials: 1 Parchment Paper, Quill Pen in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 2 Posts
A map focusing on the larger districts within specific Kingdoms, such as Londinium District, Sarum Frontier, or Avon Valley in the Britannia Kingdom. Due to maps created by the Britain Royal News, most players are able to obtain a decent starting map that aspiring Scribes can copy to complete their own map. Otherwise, new map data can be filled in by simply standing in the middle of an uncharted area and gently pressing the quill pen down upon the parchment. While it is possible for anyone to fill in a map, certain subclasses like Scribe, Pathfinder, and Courier have the advantage when it comes to filling in larger portions of the map. Having this map in your inventory gives your minimap interface the map data stored on it.
|
Lumos Ink | Level 5 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 5 Scribe Materials: 1 Magic Ink, 1 Mana Fragment Posts Required: 2 Posts
Lumos Ink is a lacquer-like transparent substance that glows in the dark or when a nominal amount of mana is applied to it. Because of its transparent nature, this item is especially good for hijinks and much less so for secret messages and whatnot. The only effect it has is to make the material transparent and to glow in the dark or when mana is applied. The ink gathers the energy to glow from natural light sources and mana, so ink left alone in a dark place won't exhibit these properties until exposed once more.
|
Magic Chalk | Level 5 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 5 Scribe Materials: 1 Chalk, 1 Magic Ink, 1 Mana Fragment Posts Required: 1 Post
Using a Mana Fragment, the crafter grafts the white rock that makes up the chalk with ink infused with magic. In this way, the Scribe can create a new way of imprinting diagrams and drawings with mana infused in them, such as runes on the side of buildings or on the concrete floors of abandoned cities.
|
Notebook | Level 5 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 5 Scribe Materials: 1 Cover, To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
A simple binding of paper that forms an ordinary notebook which can be used for a variety of things. Its quality depends on the materials used to make it.
|
Available at Level 10 Grimoire | Level 10 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Scribe, knowledge of Notebook Materials: 1 Magic Ink, 1 Cover, 3 Parchment Paper; Quill Pen in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 3 Posts
A basic spellbook that has been enchanted with enough mana that they are able to shoot weak magic bolts, similar to the grimoires available from shops and starter lists. The magic bolts are non-elemental, and have a maximum range of 2 meters. If wielded by a spellcaster, it increases damage dealt with skills by 0.1% for every item level. The Scribe that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description, but must retain it's effect.
|
Magician's Paper | Level 10 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Scribe, knowledge of Parchment Paper Materials: 1 Magic Ink, To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Scribe Scoria. Using the techniques of creating Parchment Paper and infusing the pages with Magic Ink, the result is a good deal sturdier than its Parchment Paper predecessor. The piece of paper exhibits a unique quality to alter its visage when mana is added to it, allowing one to use it as a means of communication. The greatest benefit of this item is what it enables. Thanks to the 'magic parchment' core, one can write dynamically on this piece of paper without ink or, if your imagination is keen and precise, without quill. One can even slide parts of the document beyond the edge of the paper and pull them back into view later. This item can be used in replacement of Parchment Paper and material requirements, and confers the effects of Magician's Paper into the item crafted.
|
Site Catalog Map | Level 10 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Scribe, knowledge of District Map Materials: 1 Parchment Paper; Quill Pen in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Scribe Sayha. This specialized map works like a catalog that describes major landmarks and areas, recording data missed by larger district maps. After a character obtains this item, they may spend 3 posts scouting a specific location (2 posts if they are a Scribe, Pathfinder, or Courier); the location refers to a specific sub-forum within one of the Districts, such as Thames Riviera under Londinium District. The character may then update their own Site Catalog with information on the new area. Each Site Catalog can only hold data for one District and all of it's subforums. Having this map in your inventory gives your minimap interface the map data stored on it.
|
Standard Contract | Level 10 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Scribe Materials: 1 Magic Ink, 1 Parchment Paper; Quill Pen in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Scribe Nisha. A basic contract for anything the two parties signing the contract want. Since it is the very basic one, it has to be 50/50, the requirements have to be small, the drawback from not fulfilling it is very small and it needs one witness. A special variation on the Scribe's Ink or Chalk, this particular substance can be drawn into runes on solid surfaces like the ground or on walls. The rune is then connected to the Scribe, and they can activate it at will from a maximum distance of 5 feet away, plus 1 additional foot for every 5 item levels. Once activated, the rune explodes, dealing 5% fire damage, plus 0.25% additional damage for each item level. Two-Beam Grimoire | Level 15 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 15 Scribe, knowledge of Grimoire Materials: 1 Magic Ink, 1 Cover, 3 Parchment Paper; Quill Pen in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 3 Posts
A modified Grimoire recipe. Instead of firing a single magic bolt, this version of the grimoire fires two bolts at the same time, each at half damage of a singular bolt; this allows for the user to attack multiple enemies at once. The magic bolts are non-elemental, and have a maximum range of 2 meters. If wielded by a spellcaster, it increases damage dealt with skills by 0.1% for every item level. The Scribe that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description, but must retain it's effect.

Magic Card | Level 15 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 15 Scribe Materials: 1 Magician's Paper, 1 Magic Ink; Quill Pen in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 2 Posts
A special card that has been enchanted with magical energy, causing them to feel inexplicably distinct to someone who has had experience with handling these cards. They are often drawn upon using regular ink and turned into playing cards. Card sharks with magical affinity especially like these cards in order to cheat whenever they face up against an unaware opponent. Often magical cards of different mana signatures are mixed together, allowing the user to create a loaded deck they can cheat with. The quality of materials used to create this card should be as top-notch as possible if you want to cheat people safely.

Available at Level 20 Crystal Dreams | Level 20 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Scribe Materials: 1 Magician's Paper, 1 Lumos Ink Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Scribe Scoria. Crystal Dreams is the further upgrade on the paper material, one step up from Magician's Paper. It provides a one sided, 2-D upwards projection of whatever is drawn onto it's material, essentially projecting a hologram. The hologram cannot extend horizontally beyond the bounds of the paper it's on. The complexity and height of creations is dependent on both the ingenuity of the user and their proficiency with magic objects, as well as a hard cap produced by the level of the Crystal Dreams. The object itself is highly vulnerable, so cutting a scroll made of this will result in half becoming unusable. This item can be used in replacement of Magician's Paper and material requirements, and confers the effects of Crystal Dreams into the item crafted.
|
Ethereal Quill | Level 20 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Scribe Materials: 1 Quill Pen, 1 Mana Fragment Posts Required: 1 Post
Like the name says, the Ethereal Quill is a special quill used by many in the magic business. It is an upgraded version of the Quill Pen provided in the Starter Pack for Scribes, and allows for more advanced recipes to be created. Its unique abilities and magical properties makes it an ideal tool for magicians and mages interested in devising new spells or curses. Does not disappear if used in crafting. This item is considered as a Quill Pen in any recipe.
|
Ephemeral Ink | Level 20 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Scribe Materials: 1 Lumos Ink, 1 Mana Fragment Posts Required: 2 Posts
Ink that takes some of the properties of its parent elements and combines them, creating an ink substance that can be used to write on air itself. It can come in the form of a paint can, spray paint, regular ink, or whatever else. You can write on almost any surface with this, but a strong gust or errant hand will wipe all that way. Messages won't stay for long free-floating in harsh currents. Adding mana into the floating message causes it to glow more brightly. Any contracts must be placed on some kind of paper, and writing cannot be placed on weapons or armor.
|
Heart Compass | Level 20 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Scribe Materials: 1 Magic Ink and a small object, or existing Heart Compass; Quill Pen in crafter’s inventory Posts Required: 2 Posts [1 Post if using an existing Heart Compass]
Originally researched by Scribe Scoria. A two part craft, the Heart Compass is an enchantment that, when applied to a Parchment Paper or Magician’s Paper (or an item crafted from either material, such as Crystal Dreams), creates a ‘receiver’. In the same craft, the second part is a ‘tracker’, a small item like a card or block of wood, with a spell circle ingrained on it’s surface. When activated, the tracker and receiver signal each other; the tracker object begins to glow quite obviously, the word ‘Tracking’ imprinted on it’s surface, and the receiver displays a 3-D arrow which points towards the direction of the object, which gets bigger the closer the receiver gets. The range possible is improved based on the materials used in the craft. You can craft this recipe again with an existing Heart Compass, allowing you to make another tracker; should the Compass be enchanted to an item made of Magician’s Paper, or more advanced versions, it confers the ability to track multiple objects with the tracking spell circle at once

Kingdom Map | Level 20 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Scribe Materials: 1 Magician's Paper; Quill Pen in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 3 Posts
A detailed map that overlays onto the various District maps to form the larger kingdoms in the Unfounded Kingdom, such as Britannia and Scotia. Due to the Magician's Paper this is made on, the data on this map is modifiable beyond it's original crafting, allowing someone with a quill to add changes when they are made without the need for ink. The data on the map can be moved around and pulled off the page through the mana infused in the paper, allowing for a mock zoom and stretched out proportions. Having this map in your inventory gives your minimap interface the map data stored on it.
|
Magic Canvas | Level 20 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Scribe Materials: 1 Standard Canvas, 1 Standard Essence Posts Required: 2 Posts
By infusing the cloth material of the canvas made by a Tailor with the capturing essence of the Alchemist craft, the Scribe can create an enhanced, magic workspace for Artisans to use that works in tandem with paint to create moving pictures that have captured a short snippet of life in a repeated frame of time. Without the specific paint, however, this is just a fancy canvas.
|
Reloader Contract | Level 20 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Scribe, knowledge of Standard Contract Materials: 1 Magic Ink, 1 Standard Contract; Quill Pen in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Scribe Scoria. The Magician's Reloader is a specialized contract specifically designed to work between a user and their weapon. Requiring a Scribe in order to craft the linking circles, a witness (usually the scribe) and the weapon owner to sign the contract, the contract allows the user to automatically reload his weapon when attempting to reload. The time for the projectile to appear is abyssal at low levels, making this only useful if someone had an unreasonably complex weapon that was hard to reload. In return for the contract, the weapon becomes 'locked' to the user and cannot be traded away. The weapon must be specified when the contract is used.
|
Available at Level 25 Runed Metal Weapon | Level 25 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 25 Scribe, knowledge of Grimoire Materials: 1 Metal Weapon, 1 Ephemeral Ink; Ethereal Quill in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Blacksmith Caerbannog and Scribe Nisha. Using knowledge of acid etching and applying ink to metal, a Scribe can etch a Blacksmith's crafted metal with acid. The ink is used to reversely write runes on the metal, protecting the coated parts of the metal while the acid eats through the exposed areas partially, leaving an etched magic circuit. If wielded by a spellcaster, it increases damage dealt with skills by 0.1% for every 2 item levels, which is on top of the effect given by the weapon itself.
|
Score Scroll (3) | Level 25 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 25 Scribe Materials: 1 Parchment Paper, 1 Magic Ink; Ethereal Quill in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 3 Posts
Originally researched by Scribe Scoria. The Score Scroll is a template that can be filled out with any kind of music and shifts accordingly. The music can be added by a Bard. The scroll is usable by anyone when performing music. The scroll will help to system-assist the user into playing the contained song, meaning non-Bard players can now play musical instruments with skill. If used by a Bard, however, it amplifies their casting, reducing the cast time of skills by 5%, plus 1% for every 5 item levels. The scroll will wear out over time; after being first used, it lasts for 3 post cycles. The scribe that makes this creates an empty template, so the composer may edit the description and name of this item. Each 'craft' creates 3 scrolls.

Available at Level 30 Call The Stars | Level 30 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 30 Scribe Materials: 1 Crystal Dreams, 1 Ephemeral Ink Posts Required: 3 Posts
Originally researched by Scribe Scoria. Created for the purpose of maps, this craft is the next advancement on the paper heirarchy, upgrading the Crystal Dreams. Using this for inscribing sketches, it allows for said sketch to have the capacity to record 3 dimensions of information instead of just two. It, following the properties of Crystal Dreams allows for free scrolling and 3-D projections of the recorded data. The main bonus of this item is that it allows extra data to be recorded and held. In the case of other schematics, it'll just allow for the diagram to be projected, but for things like maps, it'll compile all available sources into one set of data, allowing for zooming in and out from larger maps into smaller district versions. It essentially overwrites some of the basic functions of the minimap. The schematic needs to be made of Crystal Dreams.
|
Available at Level 40 Half-Gaia Map | Level 40 Scribe Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 40 Scribe, knowledge of Kingdom Map Materials: 1 Magician's Paper, 1 Call the Stars; Ethereal Quill in crafter's inventory Posts Required: 3 Posts
This map of the whole world offers two distinct special features; a compass in the corner that will always point north, pointing out where north is on the map itself; and, the map is dynamic and can be zoomed out or in and have its content moved across the map 'plane', allowing one to write in very small notes or get a cohesive view. It features some downsides and limitations, of course. The map will not update if the user does not own a Kingdom Map corresponding to the area that they are in. This naturally includes dungeons within the area of any given map. Due to the nature of the Call the Stars this map is made on, it also has the added benefit of compiling all other maps in the user's inventory, putting them all in one item. Due to the status of exploration, only the British Isles have any data on them so far.

The effects will also wear off prematurely if the user is attacked or uses attack based skills. The potion has a five second application time, and a 100 second duration, plus an additional 2 seconds per item level. It has a toxicity rating of 10, and the level of the potion must be higher or equal to that of the target.

Skinwalker Potion | Level 50 Pharmacist Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 50 Pharmacist, knowledge of Appearance Change Potion Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts

In doing so, they lose the ability to attack or speak, but their identity (IGN, guild, etc.) is replaced with the basic info of the creature they are mimicking. The disguise is shattered when the user is assaulted or leaves the area. The potion has a five second application time, and a 100 second duration, plus and additional 2 seconds per item level. While great for espionage, it is not advised to masquerade as higher leveled monsters, as others may attack you on sight. It has a toxicity rating of 5, and the level of the potion must be higher or equal to that of the monster; field bosses cannot be mimicked.

Made from two straightened energy coils that are then wrapped together in a way similar to a basic basket shape, this shell can be used to hold a larger amount of condensed Mana Fragments than was normally thought possible. Right now it's not very stable, and may cause mana leakage, but it's a good first step towards more streamlined research.

Prerequisites: Level 20 Mechanic, knowledge of Metal Equipment Materials: 2 Metal Weapons, To be determined Posts Required: 4 Posts
Originally research by Mechanic Hirosame. A weapon that can shift into another weapon, necessary for combat. The way that it works is that it shifts into one weapon from another weapon, and then back, depending on the situations. For example, a Great Sword shifting into a Tower Shield, then back into a Great Sword, when one wants to successfully swap from offense to defense without much difficulty, or the need to switch weapons mid-battle. These weapons can shift form by a certain designated motion that the user applies to it, in order for it to shift into said changes. Versatility in the field is enough to change a war. The animation time on a shift is 6 seconds, minus 0.25 seconds for every 5 item levels, and the cooldown is 5 seconds. Shape-shifting weapons cannot have reforges.

Upgraded Steam Engine | Level 20 Mechanic Recipe

An expensive, yet necessary, upgrade that will bring the future of trains into reality.

Standard Hoverboard | Level 40 Mechanic Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 40 Mechanic, knowledge of Skateboard Materials: 2 Wind Source Spheres, To be determined Posts Required: 5 Posts
Originally researched by Mechanic Hirosame. An advancement in motion technology, a step up from skateboards. This item performs by using the Wind Source Spheres that are placed on the bottom of the board, and manually moving the board around by shifting one's weight around to move it forward or turn it. The importance of this machine is that it uses the spheres to propel itself up above the ground, so the only resistance of movement is from the air around the rider and board, allowing for more speed. As such, it also allows the rider to ride over more terrain, like dirt paths and roads, instead of being limited to city streets and other paved or cobblestone paths. The traveling speed of this item is roughly similar to the speed of a normal skateboard. Cannot be used in battle.
|
Available at Level 45 Augmented Hoverboard: Retractable Wheels | Level 45 Mechanic Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 45 Mechanic, knowledge of Shape-Shifting Weaponry Materials: 1 Hoverboard or Augmented Hoverboard, 4 Small Wheels Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Mechanic Hirosame. An attachment to the Hoverboard, for those who still like to roll around every now and again instead of constantly hovering. This attachment adds in the same machinations as a Shape-Shifting Weapon would have in order to swap some parts around. While the hoverboard is in skateboard mode, when the user activates the hover mechanism, the spaces on the bottom that the Source Spheres operate from slide open, and begin to slowly lift the user off the ground. After roughly 10 seconds, the wheels fold into the board, taking them out of the way for any of the obstacles or paths that the user chooses to hover over. Hitting the button again will fold them back out, and will slowly turn off the power to the Wind Spheres. After 10 seconds, the spaces on the bottom for the spheres will shut again, until the button is pressed once more.

Augmented Hoverboard: Terrain Enhancement | Level 45 Mechanic Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 45 Mechanic Materials: 1 Hoverboard or Augmented Hoverboard, 1 [Element] Source Sphere Posts Required: 4 Posts
Originally researched by Mechanic Hirosame. An attachment to the Hoverboard, which expands the amount of surfaces that the machine can traverse over. By adding another basic Source Sphere, one can increase the number of things that a hoverboard can go over, instead of just going over flatter land. When a Water Sphere is added, one can traverse over streams and small rivers more easily, though the ocean's waves will not allow the user to go over it. Adding a Fire Sphere will allow the user to glide easily over Lava, though the user will have to deal with the heat that rises themselves. Adding another Wind Sphere will increase the elevation by which the owner moves, allowing them to move a bit easier over obstacles. Adding an Earth Sphere will let the rider and board traverse mountainous regions more easily and effectively, keeping a faster speed as they go through, though beware of cliffs. Ice, Lightning, Light, and Darkness currently have no uses in Terrain Enhancement.

Augmented Hoverboard: Thruster | Level 45 Mechanic Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 45 Mechanic Materials: 1 Hoverboard or Augmented Hoverboard, 2 Fire Source Spheres Posts Required: 4 Posts
Originally researched by Mechanic Hirosame. An attachment to the Hoverboard, which increases the speed at which one travels while riding on the machine. On the back of the hoverboard are two funnel-like compartments that hold two Fire Source Spheres. On the back of the top of the board, there exists a button which, when activated by hitting it with one's foot, turns the thrusters on. The hoverboard then begins to quickly accelerate in speed as the thrusters warm up. After roughly 5 seconds, the thrusters will reach their maximum velocity, and continue to keep the user and board moving faster. With this attachment, one is not required to lean forward to move when trying to increase their maximum speed. Hitting the button again will turn the thrusters off. When this attachment is activated, the traveling speed of this item is roughly similar to the speed of a galloping horse.
|
Fully Augmented Hoverboard | Level 45 Mechanic Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 45 Mechanic Materials: 1 Hoverboard, 2 Fire Source Spheres, 1 [Element] Source Sphere, 4 Small Wheels Posts Required: 10 Posts
Originally researched by Mechanic Hirosame. A Fully customized hoverboard, complete with the Terrain Enhancement, Retractable Wheels, and the Thrusters. Having all the currently available bells and whistles added on upon it, this hoverboard is capable of much more over the original type. This is used as an alternative to create a hoverboard with all the attachments applied at the time, instead of specifying that they want all available attachments. The traveling speed of this item is roughly similar to the speed of a galloping horse when using Thrusters and a normal skateboard otherwise. Cannot be used during battle.

Available at Level 50 Steam Locomotive
| Level 50 Mechanic Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 50 Mechanic Materials: 1 Advanced Steam Engine, 1+ Train Car Posts Required: 4 Posts
You have the engine, and you have the carriages, but now you need one to move and one to have spots for passengers... Of course! Combining and attaching train cars onto the back of an advanced steam engine, it is possible to create a functioning Locomotive powered by steam. The amount of passengers and/or cargo that the train can carry at one time is determined by the number of train cars, while the speed at which it can travel and the maximum amount of train cars it can pull is determined by the chosen engine.

It can be put into a Decoration slot in one's house, or kept in one's inventory. The Tailor that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description. Its quality depends on the average level of the materials used to make it.
|
Soft Blanket | Level 1 Tailor Recipe

A vanity item in the form of a soft blanket that's essential for getting a good night's sleep during the winter months. It can be put into a Decoration slot in one's house, or kept in one's inventory. Its quality depends on the average level of the materials used to make it.
|
Available at Level 5 Standard Canvas | Level 5 Tailor Recipe

|
Available at Level 10 Cloth Font | Level 10 Tailor Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Tailor Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
A small symbol made of softened cloth, designed to be susceptible to magic manipulation. This can be used by Arcanist's in their crafting of accessories with special effects called reforges.
|
Vanity Equipment | Level 10 Tailor Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Tailor Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
Clothes or accessories that can be "equipped" from the inventory in that they do not actually take up an equip slot. These types of items possess no defense values and cannot be reforged. Instead, they are mostly for aesthetic value and can either be worn on their own or used to mask completely or partially over an existing piece of armor to make it look like it isn't there. As such, you can theoretically run around looking as though you were wearing only a swimsuit and still have invisible plate armor protecting your body, but wearing a vanity item does not effect movement speed or any other stats given by the armor worn underneath it. Multiple vanity clothing pieces may be worn at the same time, but conflicting pieces will override one another. The Tailor who crafts this item may rewrite its name and description.
|
Available at Level 15 Satchel Bag | Level 15 Tailor Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 15 Tailor Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
Originally researched by Tailor Aeon. A small satchel bag that can store items for quick access without needing to open the inventory menu, which can be physically retrieved from the bag's contents, unlike the Magic Bag given just after the Catastrophe happened. It's mostly used by Couriers and individuals who need to grab a quick potion from the heat of battle. The Tailor who crafts this item may rewrite its name and description.
|
Available at Level 20 Light Pet Armor | Level 20 Tailor Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Tailor, knowledge of Cloth Equipment Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
Originally researched by Tailor Kumori. Allows an animal trainer to equip a pet with an armor that was specifically crafted for that creature out of leather or cloth. The total of the armor's defense rating and reforge level must be lower than or equal to the animal trainer subclass level of the user. The reforge effect affects only the user, not the pet, and its effect applies only if the pet is currently summoned. The Tailor who crafts this item may rewrite the name and description.
|
Weather Resistant Cloak | Level 20 Tailor Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Tailor, knowledge of Cloth Accessory Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
An accessory cloak by Tailor Aeon that can be worn over one's armor, possibly for aesthetic purposes but mostly for its utility use in protection against the weather. This accessory gives Water and Ice Resistance equal to half its Item Level, but also makes the wearer slightly vulnerable to Fire attacks equal to half its Item Level. The Tailor that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description.

Hollow Compartment | Level 1 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 1 Woodcrafter Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
The Hollow Compartment is a container with a false interior; open it up the wrong way and you'll find the interior of an ordinary wooden box. The secret compartment inside can carry small things around the size of a small water bottle. Perhaps one could engineer something that utilizes a hollow compartment in a grander design.
|
Pierrot and Control Bar | Level 1 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 1 Woodcrafter Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
A crafting recipe for a wooden puppet that comes with strings and a control bar. It is most notably used by Puppeteers to assist them in battle, but anyone who isn't a Puppeteer may still find some use in playing with these toys, allowing them to be placed in a Decoration slot or kept in one's inventory. The Woodcrafter that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description. It's quality depends on the level of the materials used to make it.
|

Generally sanded down to make grabbing onto it easier, the ladder reaches up to 5 feet, plus 1 additional foot for every 4 item levels.
|
Raft Boat | Level 5 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 5 Woodcrafter Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
It's not really much of a boat as it is a bunch of wooden planks fitted together in order to create something that doesn't immediately sink in the water when you sit in it. This item is summoned from the inventory and is automatically returned if it takes any damage or is left alone for a few minutes. It can only hold one person on it's frame at a time.
|
Standard Fishing Spear | Level 5 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisite: Level 5 Woodcrafter Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 2 Posts
The ultimate tool against small fish in streams across the world! Supposedly. The tool is used by throwing it, much like a javelin but above water, towards one's prey with hopes to spear the creature or immobilize it. The harpoon can also be used to spear ones prey, to defend oneself from a predator, or at least be used as a deterrent if assaulted. Due to the lack of strength, this variety of harpoon doesn't tend to last very long unless it is maintained constantly.
|

|
Brute Puppet and Control Bar | Level 10 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Woodcrafter, knowledge of Pierrot and Control Bar Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
An alternative to the basic Pierrot model puppet. While the Pierrot is smaller and thus makes a good companion for entertainment, the bulky Brute, standing at 1 meters tall, was designed for manual labor. It can carry the weight of roughly an adult human when carefully controlled by a skilled Puppeteer. It also packs a decent punch, dealing 50% more damage but with a reduction of 25% in attack speed. For non-Puppeteers, it can be put in a Decoration slot or kept in one's inventory. The Woodcrafter that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description. Its quality depends on the level of the materials used to make it.
|
Horse-Drawn Cart | Level 10 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Woodcrafter Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
A simple cart, used to carry goods to and fro, without having to make as many trips as one would have to with just carrying the items. This can be drawn by either oxen or horses. While it may not be structurally sound, for the time being, the item in question can be improved upon in future iterations. It can carry people or items as required, but won't move much faster than just walking.
|

Wooden Musical Instrument | Level 10 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 10 Woodcrafter Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
Originally researched by by Woodcrafter Renai. Say goodbye to the dreary days without music! A crafting recipe to create any musical instrument out of wood, this recipe allows one to create anything from a megaphone to an organ to a piano to a clarinet. Although the variety of instruments is large, including woodwinds and stringed orchestra instruments, they are all wooden. Thus, much of the brass group of instruments may be out of reach. Quality of sound and tone obviously increases as the level of the instrument increases. This item can be summoned from the inventory but will be automatically desummoned if it takes major damage. The Woodcrafter that crafts this item may rewrite its name and description.
|
Available at Level 15 Standard Boat | Level 15 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 15 Woodcrafter, knowledge of Raft Boat Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
An improved version of the Raft Boat that allows for a single person to traverse the waters in a more comfortable environment at a faster speed, at the cost of maneuverability. The seas are too rough to sail in if you get too far from land, however. This item cannot be summoned from the inventory, and must be kept in a safe location, such as a dock. Standard Mount Whistle (Wooden) | Level 20 Woodcrafter Recipe
Prerequisites: Level 20 Woodcrafter Materials: To be determined Posts Required: 3 Posts
Used to call forth a domesticated terrestrial mount, commonly a shire horse or pony. Animal Trainers may use this item to summon a specific trained animal of theirs. Otherwise, only domesticated animals (e.g. farm animals, shire horses) or wild creatures with a naturally Friendly or Docile nature (e.g. young pittered boar, briar weasel) can be used as mounts. Mounts summoned this way have very little HP and will dismount their rider and run at the first sign of danger. Cavalier personal mounts are unaffected by this item. Only one mount may be summoned at a time using this or similar items. The Woodcrafter that crafts this item may change the name and description - to have the shape fit the animal - but the effect must be retained.

If possible, perhaps put the recipes lists in Spoilers for each class. The one thing I hate most about crafting is going to check what I can make and scrolling all the way down to Tailor.
"But Dumah," you cry, "you can just use ctrl+F and type in Tailor to get down to it!"
Only thing is, the header for our recipes list isn't the first time the word "Tailor," is used in the thread. So it's either an annoying period of scrolling, or an annoying period of clicking.

This is a screen shot as an example but do you see below where it says "Recipes"? This is a link. It will link you directly to a page with the recipes of that particular crafting class. This is the same as it is on the classes.

How will this effect the discovered crafting recipes? Also, I'm assuming Artisan and Woodcrafter can still learn each other's recipes?
As an aside, I don't really understand what the Bone Font recipe actually does o.o

@eleri
Wasn't sure if you've gotten an answer to your questions yet so here you go:
Artisan and Woodcrafter cannot use each other's recipes. There is no longer any cross-crafting recipes. If you are an Artisan, the only recipes you can use are Beginner and Artisan recipes.
The Bone Font is tied into the other crafting subclass that we have yet to release (Arcanist). Even though you won't be able to cross-craft recipes, many new recipes will require you to use materials from the other crafting subclasses.

Well then what about all the recipes I've already learnt that are technically woodworker? When this goes live the training I did becomes irrelevant, or can I just make stuff that's similar? Because an Artisan should definitely be able to work with wood as a medium for some things at least, and it made sense the way the current system worked that I just needed a higher level to do those things than a woodworker would have.

Mentioned this before, but it was a few weeks ago and in chatbox so i'm not sure if i was addressed/remembered:
So where will equipment crafting be? I'm looking through my subclass, Tailor, and not seeing recipes for cloth/leather equipment, other than Vanity gear and pet armor. Were they removed, was it a mistake, Are they part of a different system entirely now?

@eleri - you would no longer be able to make those items. Cross-class crafting would not exist anymore (really, it never should have). An Artisan does not work with wood, a Woodcrafter does. If you'd like to work with wood, you would select that subclass. Each subclass is different and fills a different purpose. Glacis Rainmaker - I did bring this up when you first mentioned it and if I recall, it was simply an error/we never finished discussing them. Dorian was the one who moved a lot of these descriptions from our WIP document to a more finalized file and unless he had some reasoning that I do not remember, they'd still be more or less the same and just need added back in.
