Narni rubbed the back of his neck with his hand, stretching out in the dawn sun without much of a care in the world. Yet even as a loud yawn broke from his mouth the adventurer figured that he had to do something today. Enough roaming and wandering about within the safety of the city. The early sun blinded Narni as it reflected off a window pane somewhere, rousing him quicker than the slow pace he was taking did. A small clinking of metal on metal as his shoulders rotated as he continued his unimpressive stretching, pulling his arms from one side to the other.
His goal was the main guard post, and as the elvish warrior passed a pair of women in the street, he raised a hand to wave while his face beamed in kind greeting. The two women saw him, and one only shook her head as she ignored the adventurer. They passed him without even daring to return the greeting. Narni was annoyed slightly, and his heart bleed on his sleeve as his eyes crinkled for a moment. He shrugged and kept moving however, his goal not being to introduce himself but to get some kind of work done.
The main guard headquarters was busy already for how early it was. A small number of People of the Land training out in the open with swords or bows, and many others moving about their routines. Narni had acquainted himself with the location of the clerk who handled the normal day to day. Yet he had never spoken to them. A few other adventurers were already lined up to speak with the small balding fellow who sat at a desk covered with papers and booklets of information.
"Don't tell me. You are looking for work." Spoke the middle aged human in a tired and bored sounding voice. His eyes passed knowingly to the halberd on Narni's back and the worn and rusting plate armor that he wore. "There is not a lot that I can offer someone with your, lack of skill." He said, no names offered or asked as he shuffled through a small pile of notes. "If you're willing to wait for some others of your kind, then I do have something. Boars have been more than a nuisance of late, and we need a few of them removed before they ruin the fields."
Narni stood awkwardly, not having been able to get a word in since he had stepped forward. Yet he had no reason to decline the offer. Death was not something he had to worry about any more after all, and boars were apparently some of the easiest monsters that roamed about. "Nah, I don't mind waitin'." He said. "Go 'head and count on me to finish that there then." The elvish adventurer was motioned to go wait by the door out of the way for when someone else wished to help.

--colors-- Hekate/#df9a57 -- Clerk/#95cea4 With yet another morning gone bye in this other world, Alex looked up into the tree she was sleeping under, seeing no one above her, she sighed a little sigh of relief, then checked her items. Seeing as they where all still there, she sighed another sigh of relief. "Well, looks like today is going to be another boring day". Guess I should check the quest board again. With that thought in mind, Alex got up and walked toward the main square.
Getting to the main square, Alex made her way to the quest board. Hmm, looks like theres nothing new yet. Thinking back to how she had yet to do many combat related quests, Alex decided to head toward the gates.
After reaching the nearest main gate, she noticed a few adventures and some town guards dealing with rabbits and boars in the fields. Wondering if they are just out there for fun or on a request or something, she approched on the guards taking a break. "Hello. Is there any way i can help out?" The guard looked Alex once over, then without saying anything, pointed toward the main garrison. Guess I need to go over there to join the fighting?
Making her way though the line of other adventurers looking for work at the garrison, Alex finaly made it to one of the clerks. "Another one looking for work? Go wait with the young man with the halberd" Without even looking at Alex, the clerk pointed towards an elf waiting near the door. Alex walked over towards the young man, and as she approched him "Hey, the clerk told me to wait over here with you. My name is Hekate, hope we can get along"

Another day, another dollar. Aurora woke up to the sound of the hustle and bustle of the already active town, her disheveled locks fluttered against her back as she looked out the window. She quickly got dressed, rushed down the stairs and out the door into the busy town. Her little body has been feeling really twitchy as of late, she needed something to vent against. No amount of rabbits or slimes was going to quench her thirst for the day. She was in the mood for a hunt and the prey would be the devilish tusked swine that roamed the outskirts of the town. Before she was about to make another step, she felt as if she had forgot something. An item she knew all too well that she'd leave behind. She ran back to her room and looked against the wall. There it was, her scarcely used crossbow. Something in the back of her mind told her to take it was a precaution, you never can be too careful. She grabbed the aged weapon along with the dusty bolts she used as ammunition, while giving it a stern gaze.
She wasn't took taken with using weapons, it wasn't the fact she couldn't use them for any moral reason, but that the idea was foreign to her. Using the body was the very much preferred option, rather it almost felt natural. Guess her violent nature was very much still evident inside her, and it came out whenever she fought. It wasn't really a problem as long she could keep herself under control around other people and not try to seek out fights. She chuckled softly when she had to monitor herself properly rather than someone else do it. She made her way back out of the Inn, looked around for any unusual commotion. Nothing. She went to the front gate of the town where the guards were, only to find the usual boar magnet Frank in perfect condition. Mr.Boar magnet himself called over the wolf girl after he noticed her, "How's it going, young pup?"
Aurora ran over to greet the battle hardened boar veteran, "Not too bad today, was looking around to see if you were having a swine problem." He let out a hearty laugh he wiped a small tea from his eye, "Not today it seems, try heading over to the Garrison. Captain Baxton might have something for you there." There Garrison was the last place on her list either way, might as well hurry on there now. "Thanks, Frank. Have a great day," she waved before heading towards the Garrison.
She burst through the door, "Hey Captain, how are you doing today?" Baxton had a irritated grimace plastered on his face, "What do you want, kid?" The little girl gleamed a mischievous smile, "Just looking for a bit of work today. Got anything?" "Yeah, you and those other two over there in the corner," he raised his voice as he pointed to the corner of the room. Aurora looked back to see that Hekate and Narni were also waiting for work to do, "Hey you two, long time no see. How is it going?" "Anyways here, there's a boar problem in the fields. Go take care of it and come back," he spoke to the girl with angered tone. She gave him a two finger salute before walking off towards the other two, it was nice that he actually shows he care. "So you two want to help me take care of a pig problem? Looks like the more we do, the better the reward." 瑤光

While it was not all to long that he was waiting for the other two people, Narni did start getting bored. Yet there was nothing to keep his mind occupied other than watching the people that flowed in an out of the garrison. Adventurers and Landers alike seemed to have need of the clerk, just as many asking for jobs as there were those asking for aid. No wonder it always seemed like there was a never ending supply of quests to undertake.
Narni had just begun spinning his halberd on a pivot out of his desire to do anything as the first of the people sent his way made her greeting. "Narni Graves." Spoke the samurai, his hand losing hold of the spinning weapon, but he was able to catch it before the halberd hit anything. "We will Miss, I'm quite sure of it." He adds with a small bow of his shoulders towards the lady. His eyes passed over the rounded fox ears, missing them entirely in motion as he took in the sight before him.
The other lass appeared soon, and he made another motion in kind towards her as well. "Hello again." He barely had time to say before the guard captain was giving them their task. Boars. Wonderful. "Well, at least it's something easy. A few swine should be no issue at all. And if they're a problem then it would be wrong of me to pass on the issue now that it has come to my attention." Narni spoke with a slight flamboyant sound in his voice as he looked down at the other two with a sparkle in his eyes. He was attempting to make a jest with this tone, to sound like a pompous fool. "Do you know where we're goin'?" He asked either of the two, not knowing much about the lands outside the city walls himself.

--color codes-- Hekate/#df9a57 -- Baxton/#c12b18 Boars, shouldn't be too hard I don't think. Alex looks from Narni, to Aurora, and decides it should be ok to fight boars with this team. "Boars dont seem too hard. Theres a ton of them outside the main gate not far from here. I saw them out there before I cam here". Looking at Baxton, he nodded a little. "We can probably start there, and keep moving around to find more".
With the destination in mind, the three set out, with Alex leading the way, toward the main gate nearest the garrison. On our way out of the garrison, Baxton said from behind, "If you damage the fields you will get nothing, no matter how many boars you kill". With Baxton's warning, they continued out.
After making it to the field, Aelx looked at the people fighting, and looked for a gap where there wasn't too much fighting. Finding a gap near one of the farmers' fields, Alex pointed toward it, "Looks like over there would be a good place to get started. But, before we go and start fighting, give me a few seconds". Alex begain to cast Keen Edge, in the hopes of making the fight easier, now as she knew the duration was about an hour, and she didn't see any reason killing some boars would take that long. After the five seconds needed to cast, Keen edge was cast, and the attack power of the party was brought up.
"Alright, with this we can go kill us some boars".

Count 'em:546Jams:To Be Shaman KingRamblings:Hungry like the WolfWilling Victims: Narni Graves Hekate Aurora felt a sudden surge coursing through her body, she flexed her hands and took a deep breath. She felt the Keen Edge taking effect, glancing around and surveying the area she happened to see three of the troubling boars a bit off to the side. Her once cheery expression turned ice cold an stoic as she jerked her neck and stretched her limbs. She took in another deep breath then exhaled, letting her wolfen tail and ears emerge from her body. Her body gave off a slight twitch, excitement was starting to swell in her tiny body. "Hey, Graves. Back me up and keep the other two at bay, I'll try to make fast work of them as possible," she said as she got down on her hands and feet, focusing her now golden orbs upon her soon to be prey. Accel Dance, she thought before going into a mad dash, rushing headlong into the pile of pigs after transitioning back to the bipedal creature that she was. Her pink locks softly brushing against her skin as she moved so effortlessly on the terrain. She clicked her teeth together before curling her hands into claws to reave into the centermost of the swine. The swine let out a loud squeal as it was beaten into the side, alerting the others that were nearby. A snarl ripped from her chest as she focused her sights on mainly the in front of her rather than its' friends, but kept her glances shifting every so often so they she wouldn't be caught off guard. The piglets circled around her, closing in slowly as they measured her next movement. Loud snorts and bellows came from each of them as they edged closer in. Aurora toggled on her Tongue of Nature and seemed to only catch the very end of their conversation. "She's not strong, we take can take her easily," said the centermost strip of raw bacon. Her ears perked up instantly when she heard the pig's ridicule, her expressionless façade almost broke showing a brief flash of anger. The three boars leapt at her from their respective directions with loud squeals and bared fangs. Aurora quickly bent backwards and dropped to the ground in a hurry, letting the boars collide with each other. She bent back further while using her hands as a support as she brought her legs in then with a jerk, she kicked up, striking the menagerie of swine. She rolled back into a flip with ease, bringing up her fists as a guard. "So much for taking me down easily, huh?" A smug smirk crossed her face, returning the snide remark they gave her. The looks on the pigs seemed to be as if they were in shock, whether it was because the girl could understand them or they could understand the girl was a complete mystery. She brought her form closer to the ground while bringing her fists to her face, the beast was prepared to feast. Her golden orbs still focused on the centermost pig and his meaty flanks, a small growl slipped pass her lips. Before the day was over with, she was going to take one of these boars home later. 瑤光

Narni was glad to be moving again, and he walked alongside the two younger ladies as they left the safety of the city's walls. It was sort of nice to escape its confines in favor of greener pastures. Or more so the fields of crops that hung close enough to the city to avoid any of the more dangerous monsters. At least that was supposed to be the case. The samurai thought back to the warning to watch the farmland as well as slaughter their contracted enemies, it did add a small bit of difficulty to what he had hoped would be an easy encounter. The elf's halberd shined slightly in his hand, and a small notification up in the corner of his vision marked the casting of his teammate's support spell. "Thank you Hekate." He said joyously, glad to have had this boon to make their day all that much easier. Narni could turned back around, having heard her but the words not having yet traveled the short distance between his ears to his brain to register what was being said. As the small pink haired assassin dashed off towards the trio of boars, he noted the canine features start to emerge. "Well and here I was thinkin' this was going to be dull. Shall we?" Narni asked Hekate with a playful tilt of his head, gripping his halberd in both hands before sprinting at a slower rate. His worn looking plate mail clinked as his feet trampled over the grass, footprints sinking in the grass only for it to spring back up just like it would in the real world. Unlike the command that the assassin girl had given him, Narni figured it would be best to gain the attention of all three of the boars if possible. The elvish samurai rounded to place himself in the center of the area, content that his location would not destroy the crops. Bushi Chousen he thought, activating the taunt skill. Somewhat controlled by the system for a whole two seconds, he raised his dominant arm high with the halberd gripped unsteadily. "Come and face me! I shall roast you and yours upon a spit, and maybe finally eat a decent meal!" Narni shouted as he leveled his pole-arm towards the three enemies with a light swing. The skill seemed to work for the most part, as one of the two that Aurora had not damaged yet immediately turned tail and began a charge towards him. The other slowed its pace, but Narni was unsure if it too would attack him. Not content with only one, the Samurai raised his weapon into the air. "Izuna-Giri!" He shouted, unsure as to why he felt the need to say the skill name. His weapon was brought down heavily to stop just before touching the ground. A pale green, semi transparent wave of air flashed forward from where his weapon cut the air. It struck the far boar directly in it's side, cutting into it as it shrieked in pain and turned towards him as well completely. "Good good." He muttered, looked into place by the animation as the closer boar leveled its horns in for a charge. Bushi Chousen - 8 seconds Izuna-Giri - 10 seconds Aurora Hekate

217 words --color codes-- Hekate/#df9a57 -- Sighing lightly, Ah, they're both mussle heads. Though I guess thats a good thing. After watching both Aurora and Narni rush in to fight the boars, Alex readied her crystal ball that's always floating nearby. Before moving any further from where she already was, Alex held her palm out and cast Pulse Bulet toward one of the three boars that Aurora had left to Narni. While casting Pulse Bulet "Aurora, unless you want help, I'll go help Narni take care of the other boars". Thankfuly it looked like her timing for both casting and the travel time of the skill where right and the bulet landed after the boar was looking only at Narni. Well, pulse bullet is on cooldown for a little bit, guess I can put this hunk of crystal to some use. After casting her only damage spell, Alex started to run in aswell, however a few more boars a little further away caught her attention.
Stopping a little outside the current fighting, Lets be a little safe. Alex started to cast Nightmare Sphere and aimed a little infront of the boars, so as to add a slight buffer incase they also start to approch. Sucessfully casting her slow, Alex continued toward the boars that Narni was keping ocupied, while keeping an eye on Aurora.

Count 'em:688 Jams:Remember-Flow Ramblings:Sorry about the wait Willing Victims: Hekate Narni Graves Aurora glanced to the side and noticed that one of the boars had started charging at Narni, freeing her from one more problem that she had to deal with. A smirk appeared on her face when she turned her attention back to her main focus, rather than the other boar to her side. A small sphere of light rushed pass her, hitting the boar square on. Hekate's voice called out, "Aurora, unless you want help, I'll go help Narni take care of the other boars". "I'll be fine!" She bellowed out, making sure she was heard. She was perfectly fine with this, one was already on its' last legs that left the other free pickings. She lowered her form closer to the ground while keeping a close eye on both of the boar's movements. Between their snorts and foot stamping, they were muttering swears and curses at her. She was slightly amused at the pig's back and forth with each other.
The boars both took charge at her as they tried to time their attack to catch the wolf girl off guard. Aurora brought up both her arms to block both the pig's respective attacks, her arms stung from the impact. The thought of pain in the game was a huge turnoff, but its' because she felt the pain it reminded her that she's not dreaming. It was proof she was alive! The boars lined up to attack again and made a mad dash towards the pink haired lass. Aurora dropped her guard and put all her focus on the already weakened boar. Her golden orbs gleamed with a beautiful sheen as she looked down at the pig that struck her leg. She completely ignored the pig to her side that was gnawing away at her health in small bits. The boar she had focused on slowly looked up to her and shuddered, its' face seemed to shrink as it looked eyes with Aurora. It wanted to back away as if it were looking the very eyes of death.
She was sure that the pigs before her could every word she was saying since her Tongue of Nature was still on, she slowly opened her mouth, "I am Serena Santana and I will devour you and your family." The pig screamed as loud as it could before trying to tail as fast as it could. Aurora quickly stepped on the pig's tail to prevent it from running away. She took a quick glance to her health only to notice that she barely breaking the 60% marker then looked her side only to notice that the boar was trying its' damnedest to stop her. Her shimmering irises traced back to the pig that was still trying to run, she raised one clenched fist as her cold gaze rested solidly on her mark. "La Muerte," she whispered before bringing down her hammer on the hog's battered body.
It twitched and spasmed uncontrollably which only garnered her attention to bring down her fist again, just to prevent any unwelcome surprises. The spasming and twitching stopped after a few seconds. Aurora grabbed the body by the tuft of the fur and tossed it away from the fields then looked to the pig that was preoccupied with her leg. In one swift movement, she turned and kicked the boar to where she threw the body. With the annoyance to the side for the moment, she stretched her body with a huge satisfied grin. It was great to finally let loose all these pent up frustrations she had since coming here and it seemed that the loud yell from earlier didn't alert any unfriendlies either. It worked out perfectly, they could take their time to rest a bit after they were done with the last of the two before moving on. She licked her lips when she focused her sights back onto the boar she had kicked earlier as it was running back her way, "Alright, let's play." 瑤光

Narni had thought that the second of the boars he had struck at would have turned their attention towards him, but whatever Aurora had said or done to rile them up had kept it's attention fairly well. Still he had the first of his own boars to contend with, as it charged with small tusks aimed at his. Yet he eas still caught in the casting animation for a skill as it arrived, not able to defend himself. As the creature struck at his plate armor, the samurai grimaced as he staggered back a step, righting himself to look down on the creature. Close combat he could handle well, at least as far as that boar was concerned. Anything smarter may have caused him some problems due to his lack of experience. A quick turn of the elf's eyes showed that he had only lost nine percent of his hp, and about twelve percent of his mana in that first combination of skills. Deciding to save his mana just in case, Narni slid his hand up to just under the axe like blade. With a grip now more capable of maneivering in such small space, he cleaved down, striking the beast in the side of its thick neck. It squealed, and although the samurai was normally a kind person, he grimaced and brought the bladed edge back to his shoulder's level. With a squeal of pain and panic the enemy twisted and tried to turn and run. Yet the legth of the halberd was to great to escape. Narni readjusted his hold again, using as much of the length of the polearm as he could while still maintaing control. With a quick twist and slam, the samurai brought the full weight down upon the boar, cleaving into its skull. With a final squeal the beast lay dead under his blade. The elf was surprised at how easy it was to actually kill something, at least the mindless beasts. He had always been a squeamish person out in the real world, but maybe since the circumstances had changed he could deal with it for now. Or maybe he had just never gotten a feel for it in his quiet lifestyle. Still these were only pigs, probably a much different feeling to attack something that could actually fight back. Still, they weren't done, and as Narni rested the heavy weapon on his shoulder he stalked his way towards the last target. "Well this won't take all that long!" He beamed loudly to his two companions. "I wonder if I can get one of those Landers to give me a discount on a pint when we get back." He spoke calmly and jokingly, a wide grin that caused dimples to become apparent on his face. Aurora Hekate Bushi Chousen- 2 seconds Izuna-Giri - 4 seconds

278 words --color codes-- Hekate/#df9a57 -- Keeping an eye on the combat going on around her, Alex looked toward the further boars, Looks, like they still havent noticed us, or my nightmare sphere. Good. Getting back to the combat in front of her, Alex aimed another Pulse Bullet at the boar Narni was in combat with. Just as the little bullet was about to strike the boar, it charged forward and rammed into narni, cuasing the bullet to hit more towards the rear of the boar. The boar seemed a little knocked off balance as it rammed into Narni, Maybe that helped lesses the impact? Just need to keep hitting it.
A moment after Narni brought his halberd down on the boar, Alex launched her crystal ball toward the flank of the boar, scoring a hit, and hearing a crunch of bones. Letting out a squeal the boar tried to run, but Narni quickly finished it off.
That boar dead, "Why not worry about that pint when we finish? Not like any of it tastes good anyways". While responding to Narni, Alex looked toward the second boar that had run off toward where Aurora was, "Guess we wont need to worry about that boar..." As she was speaking, Alex noticed the other two boars that she had thrown her nightmare sphere infront of before, started to charge forward, but where currently trapped in the slowed enviroment of the nightmare sphere. On a reactionary impulse, Alex launched a pulse bullet toward one of them, hitting it square in the face, then turned toward Narni "Looks like we got our next targets Narni. Shall we kill them too?" as she pointed toward the two slowed boars.
