Metro was sitting on the floor leaning against a wall. He had come to love this spot very much due to the fact that the roofs edge caused a big shady area due to the rising sun. It was morning and the blacksmiths inside were hard at work so the wall was nice and warm against the cool air. He could here the distant talking of crowds in the market and the clanging of the blacksmiths hammers. None of that matter how ever because he had both his legs pulled up to his chest and his head lowered. The noises got more and more muffled until there was only silence. He then felt his mind retreat to the far reaches of his subconscious. It was so quiet he almost forgot that he wasn’t completely alone. Well to the average passers by he was just some seventeen year old kid trying to deal with the changes of the apocalypse but to metro he was doing something no one could ever know unless they already knew. Metro was diagnosed with Dissociative identity disorder so his mind was not in fact his alone. There were two others occupying that space, they didn’t have names and the only way to tell them apart was by there eye color. He had reached his destination and in the middle of what looked like a dark black room were two black silhouettes standing in the middle of the room. Metro could tell them apart because one of them had red eyes, the color of passion and emotion. The other had light blue eyes, they were lighter color than his were but they gave off the impression of intelligence and prestige. They always had such different views that sometimes they would get into huge arguments over nothing. Those are the times metros head feels like it’s about to explode and splatter against the wall. They were talking about the recent change of events.
“Okay, we have had some combat experience already. We know how the game reacts to using abilities but that isn’t enough we need to dig deeper. We have to test the boundaries’ of this worlds reach so that we can break it open and drink from the pool of knowledge that comes out.” Said the blue eyed one as he put his hands on his hips.
“No what we need to do is ether figure out a way out of this hell hole or we need to get to the so called highest level in order to dominate the local occupants!” Screamed the red eyed one as he threw his hands in the air toward the other figure. “If you think about it for once in our life our desires are aligned. What do you say to this plan I just came up with. If we do as I said and learn the limits of this world in doing so we will become stronger and more capable in a fight. Not only that we may have knowledge that others don’t and then be able to use it as leverage.” The blue eyed one said in a calm tone. “Fine, but I better to get to kill some shit along the way.” Replied the red eyed one not quite yelling but there was still a angrier tone then before. They then both turned toward metro and he suddenly felt like he wasn’t supposed to be here for this so he receded back into reality. As the sounds of his surroundings came back he suddenly felt a twinge of sadness. “I’m not even aloud inside my own head. Its my subconscious there invading although they will argue other wise aren’t I supposed to-“ thought metro until suddenly a blinding pain in the side of his head spiked and it almost made him fall to the floor. His eyes flickered for a moment from the pain and he had to clench his teeth to stop himself from screaming. “Next time you think you can just bad mouth me like that ill kill us all along with you! You worthless piece of shit how many times do I have to tell you we don’t want your worthless body anyway! You’re just a pathetic kid so keep in line or die got it!” Screamed red eyes from the back of his mind “okay okay just make it stop please I wont say anything bad again I promise.” Said metro clutching his head in agony he was sure his brain was going to explode when it suddenly receded and his head felt sort of empty for a moment. “th-thank you” Metro said the words but hardly meant them.
He got up from his spot since it now was getting rather warm in the mid-morning and the wall was scorching his back. He then walked off into the road and almost swam his way throw the sea of people. Metro hated people almost as much as the other two did. Can you blame me, I haven’t exactly had a fabulous time with them he thought. After a few moments of walked he saw a tavern and decided to go inside. He needed something caffeinated to get rid of this after-headache. He opened the door and walked inside. He sat at the bar and asked for something with caffeine and the guy gave him a black drink. He tasted it and it was the most terrible thing he had ever tasted. At least my minds on this instead of the pain and he chugged it down and ordered two more.

Looting the creature gave him the last of the gold coins he needed to get a meal and drink around town. He was glad to be finished with his fighting, but that had been the last thing on his list of things to do for the day. It wasn't really a long list to begin with- have breakfast, go fight, get dinner, go home. That was the extent of it, everything else he did were just surprises that he added in along the way so that he wouldn't have to go back home. In a way, he was growing tired of the same thing day in and day out. He was use to it, but that was what made it grow tiresome.
All that was left for him at home was an empty chair and couch for him to sit upon. There was a bed in the space he was currently calling his home, but Faded would never sleep in such a space alone ever again, his heartache for the company missed too great. Sighing, he pushed the thoughts away before they went elsewhere then turned his attention to the sky above. It all looked so real, but could just be fake... Shaking his head, Faded tried to think of something more normal and simple for a change. Like a drink, and food. That was normal right? And simple too. Arching back then twisting to each side, the Wolf Hair cracked his spine, growling lightly at the feeling of loosening up. Turning back toward London, he made his way out of the forest to head off for the ruined city.
The nearest place for him to go would happen to be the Tavern. Even if it was far away though, that was the one place he wanted to head off to the most. It was one of the places he had never actually gone before in the other world so he had no memories of anything like it before. That was just how he wanted it, a clean slate to write upon. Walking in, Faded looked around the place. It didn't seem too crowded at the moment, a few empty tables spaced around the floor, but he didn't feel like sitting alone just then. Looking over to the bar instead, he made his way over to sit down next to an elf with quite the interesting hair color; or should he say, colors. Though he wasn't really the talkative type usually, Faded simple nodded to the boy next to him and asked the bartender for a glass of water. He could get the food later, for now he was happy enough with the glass and a bit of company, even if the other didn't speak with him.

Metro was never really good with people. Aside from the bully ass kicking’s he never really got to interact with the other children. Having a family as rich as his was and as separated his skills in social interaction were pretty bad. Besides he had red eyes and blue eyes to keep him company. To be completely honest metro would rather they left too so he could be alone but what can you do. He chugged another one of those drinks that was brought to him and cringed as the caffeine burned the back of his throat and the taste wasn’t much better then licking salt. He couldn’t complain though, it was something he could complain about and keep his mind on. He looked around and to him looked as alien as if he was on another planet. People crowding around tables laughing and chatting each otheres ears off. A couple in a booth on the other side of the room was kissing and doing couple things. Now that he thinks about it he never had a girlfriend, hardly ever had time for one with the two roommates he has upstairs if you catch my drift. Besides metro could care less for the human race let alone the female ones.
Suddenly a man with silver hair appeared and sat next to him while giving him a nod. Metro copied the gesture and nodded back. He picked up his drink and chugged it down. “Yep still tastes like shit.” He murmured to himself. He didn’t say it out loud for people to hear it was so blue eyes would get the signal to help him out. Blue eyes was always better with dealing with strangers. Red eyes would just fight anyone he saw but blue eyes studied them. He loved his social experiments and metro really couldn’t complain since he wouldn’t have to worry about dealing with people. Suddenly his body froze but only for a split second, so fast in fact no one would even notice he had. He could feel his eyes change from dark blue to light blue as blue eyes took control. “I sure hope blue eyes doesn’t say anything stupid” thought metro “but what do I care not like ill have to deal with it.” it was always weird when metro tried to explain how this whole thing worked. He had blue eyes explain it one time and he said “it’s like all three of us are different people taking the exact same footsteps at the exact same spot in the exact same stride.” At least that kind of made sense to metro out of this whole change of events that was the only truth.
“hey, the names MetroExibit but you can call me Metro.” He then reached out to shake the mans hand as he chugged the last drink in front of him.

Tagged: Metro ▪ Notes: One letter!! ▪ Muse: Link ▪ Health: 100% Reaching up with one hand, Faded traced the rim of the glass he held. Most drinks made around here either tasted bad or plain like water if they were made from the menu, so he stuck to ordering water to eliminate the option that it would be horrible instead. It wasn't like he minded it anyway, the plain drink was refreshing to him, and that was all he needed, something to quench his thirst. Taking the occasional small sip, he saved as much of it as he could so he wouldn't have to try fighting for the bartenders attention to get a refill. Just in general he didn't like fighting too much besides what was necessary, the same went for arguments of any kind that were just plain pointless.
When his neighbor mumbled something, Faded looked over questioningly, but it didn't seem to matter all that much, or he had just been talking to himself. Either way, there was no repetition of whatever the phrase had been, so he left it alone, not wanting to push anything even if it was such a small thing. Besides, the stranger had nodded back to him in a casual greeting, so he wasn't all that bad as far as the Wolf Hair could tell. Feeling more at ease with the atmosphere, he took a longer drink of the water before gently nudging the empty glass forward in a silent request for more when the bartender had some time.
There was a second chugging from the one next to him, but seeing as he had done the same thing once already, he passed it off as nothing unusual for him and simply folded his hands on the table since he had nothing else to do with them. He was starting to glance around at the rest of the bar, but his attention was drawn once more to the Elf that introduced himself as MetroExibit, or Metro for short. Though he really didn't want to seem rude, Faded still couldn't bring himself to take the offered hand. Touch from another was his bane, and he often wasn't willing to reach out to anyone else either. Not accepting the handshake, he hesitantly nodded once more, a standard greeting of the man of few words, "Good evening... I'm Faded." he wouldn't mind if it was shorted to Fade, but didn't really see the difference in one letter himself.

Seeing as this man rejected the hand shake metro retracted it. It wasn’t much of a greeting more of a test. Blue eyes was going to have fun with this one if it killed him. With his folded hands and blank expression he could tell he wasn’t much for people. Along with the added cup pushed in front of him meant he ether wasn’t outspoken or he felt he simply didn’t have to ask the bartender for another drink. That or he was done one of the three was correct thought blue eyes. “You know I was out on the path and the strangest thing happened, a player tried to attack me. To be honest I was quite frightened but as he continued his assault I had no choice but to kill him. So I did I dropped him to fifty health then I slowly ground my sword into his chest until he dispersed into data. Mind if I ask what you would do if someone attacked you out of no where?” asked blue eyes no turned around on his stool both elbows behind him leaning on the bar.
“You lying son of a bitch! That was me who killed the boy not you! Are you trying to take credit for something that I did you ass!” yelled red ass from the back of his mind. Nothing upset red eyes more then someone taking credit for his deeds whether there good or bad. Metro guessed it was because he never really had anything that was his so when he did something right or wrong he wanted to hold on to it. Metro had his body they were in and blue eyes had the intelligence of this body but red eyes only had his anger and emotion. Ruled by those two things they were both his greatest feature and his worst flaw. Maybe one day he will get over it metro thought but that day sure as hell isn’t today. Blue eyes was now looking up at the ceiling breathing in the smell of liquor. Blue eyes loved the smell of chemical solution metro always guessed because it was where he was most comfortable.

Tagged: Metro ▪ Notes: Well then ▪ Muse: Link ▪ Health: 100% Faded looked over and raised an eyebrow at the other player. Or rather, the other PKer. While he could see the reason Metro retaliated against the other one who had attacked him, it was the ending that bothered him the most. It seemed... sadistic. Very sadistic. At a first glance, the boy didn't seem all that threatening on the outside, but he supposed he really knew next to nothing about what was going on inside the other's mind. There was quite the large difference between a persons thoughts and their actions sometimes, for all Faded knew, Metro was an extreme case of this sort of thing. Perhaps if it wasn't for the fact that they were in town, he may have chosen to fight the guardian just for kicks or to test his mettle against an armored opponent. Then again, he had to remind himself the boy fought back in self defense, despite how the ending might have come out to be.
Crossing his arms in thought, Faded's gaze drifted off to the side where the bartender was chatting with a couple female customers. In truth he wasn't sure what he would do, he had never been attacked by another player before and it was quite the odd thing for him to think about. As a guardian his job was to protect his party, and in general the man wanted to protect people as much as he could so it was quite the predicament for him. As he thought about it, he continued to watch the reaction between the bartender and the ladies, seeing them converse and giggle. He didn't care for the girls so much as he was more intent on looking at the bartender, almost as if his stare alone could get the man's attention and make him come over to refill his drink. Obviously it wasn't working since the guy kept on chatting.
Shaking his head, Faded turned back to Metro, an answer finally forming. "I... think I would retreat or let them kill me." No matter how he thought about it, killing another player just wasn't something that the Wolf Hair thought he was capable of. Of course, he wouldn't be able to truly know until it actually happened, but that was how he thought it would go down.

Blue eyes noticed the man sitting there without saying a word for quite some time. He figures it was because the question was pretty counter productive. He looked like the type that wouldn’t fight back but at least his own silent question was answered. He looked at the mans gear and thought he might be some sort of tank. A front lines player perhaps but then why would someone like him be in the front lines attacking and getting the attention brought on to himself? Blue eyes pondered but then realized he would have to change his perspective to figure it out. So after a minute of wondering he figured it out. This kid didn’t like to fight but on the contrary he wanted to protect people by putting himself in harms way but not necessarily doing any damage to the attacker. Blue eyes decided that this way of thinking fit a lot more then before and was content with it. After the man answered his question he was little then a bit unsurprised. After figuring out before hand him answering the question alone was counter-productive. It would have been better if he didn’t ask the question at all since he already guessed the answer but then the silence wouldn’t lead to the opportunity for more rhetorical questions. “The humans race is so pitiful” thought blue eyes. Blue eyes pondered the possibility of joining up with someone like this. The goal would have to be decided on the why first. He was satisfied with the whole “not having to die.” If this kid got on his good side and him and metro became friends he is the sort of person who would take a dive in need be. If he didn’t then well a quick push over a stump would slow him down fast enough to get away.
Metro heard this thinking and was appalled. He couldn’t believe blue eyes would think of something like this. In all honesty if something like that came to it metro would probably endure all the headaches in the world to stay and fight. Running wasn’t something he enjoyed it always left a sinking feeling in his stomach. There wouldn’t but much ether blue or red eyes could do about it. Besides he seems like a nice guy of course hes not the most outstanding fellow but who knows people can surprise you. Coming from me that’s saying something. Blue eyes looked at this boy again and said “so I take it you’re some sort of tank? From that armor I can figure as much. I am a ranged Assassin myself and never really cared for upfront combat. What do you say to coming along with me and hunt some pigs tomarrow? I know I got nothing to do and I could use a friend. After the apocalypse I haven’t met anyone, weird huh? Anyway if you want to-“ blue eyes flicked his hand in the air a few times and clicked send “ accept that friend request and well meet up at the front gate tomarrow.” Blue eyes got up and started to walk away until he turned around and said “it couldn’t hurt to have some back up every now and again.” Looking at the floor when he said it and then turning around and walking out the door into the street. He was headed for some inn to sleep in. Whether metro liked it he was going to make some friends.

Tagged: Metro ▪ Notes: Interesting ▪ Muse: Link ▪ Health: 100% So, the boy was an assassin. It was probably a little stereotypical for Faded to think this, but to him it seemed like the class fit someone who would give someone else a slow and painful death. He would have further expected him to be a mele assassin, but got a bit of a surprise to find out he didn't like to be up close in combat with someone else. While Metro went on to talk about going pig hunting, the bartender finally came around and picked up the empty glass of water. It only took a few seconds out of his time to fill it back up and set back in front of the silver-haired man. Why he couldn't have just stopped by for a brief moment no one will ever know, but he turned right back around to go chat it up with the ladies once again.
Picking up the glass to take an awaited drink, Faded swiveled around in his chair to look toward Metro as he got up after sending the friend request. He waved to his retreating drinking partner politely before looking back down to the questioning friend request. It stared back silently at him. While Faded didn't particularly care one way or the other if there was someone around to have his back while fighting, he assumed that the other planned on going out to fight with or without him. Whether he knew this Metro character well enough to trust him with his life wasn't even running through his head as as accepted the request. The only thing that Faded had interest in was that he had been given the option to help someone, and that settled everything: he would go.
Buying a cheap dish with the coins he had gathered while out killing monsters, Faded decided to take it back to the old building he was currently residing in."I'm home!" He called out to the empty house. Making his way over to the couch, he flopped down to stare at the ceiling for a little while before starting in on the tasteless food. Out of his usual routine habit, the Wolf Hair talked about his day out loud as he ate. "It was interesting day today dear. I met someone new in the Tavern...
