[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]ARRASI [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Julia Pines [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 19 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Heterosexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: character, TOUHOU [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Drasi [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"] In real life, Julia stands at about five and a half feet tall and is more on the skinny side. Her dark brown hair is cut in bangs in the front while the rest falls halfway down her back in two braids. Her blue eyes are round and expressive and set in a narrow face. Normally she likes to wear long dresses with a sweater over it, a style that followed her from her childhood in Scotland. Her gait is usually long and fast, one that goes along well with her since her legs are somewhat long for her figure. In game, her avatar resembles what she looked like when her brother first introduced her to online gaming. Her avatars have almost always looked the same, and this one is no different. As an elf, her avatar has pointed ears and round green eyes. Her wavy blonde hair is a little longer than chin length with some of it tied up in the back. She normally wears a dress that is brown on top with purple borders and a criss-crossing white pattern. The bottom also has the brown and purple part, but there is a black skirt underneath with a red criss-crossed hem and a blue and white skirt on top all wrapped together with a white sash. She also wears a white scarf and white “arm socks”. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Julia has been on a shy streak ever since her family moved to London. She used to have a lot of energy when she was younger, but in the city she has found herself far more reserved and quiet. She tends to be closed-off around people – the few friends that she did make in school barely knew about where she came from. Instead, she tends to be more of an observer. She has found that she enjoys people-watching far more than actual interaction with others. In the game, though, her personality is expressed a little differently with her avatar. Although she was extremely attached to her brother's avatar in the game, she didn't always play alongside him. With her Courier subclass, she has had to drum up business all over the place to keep her funds in order so that she can keep her inventory filled. Because of this, she has become accustomed to making quick conversation in the game. At first, she can seem kind of chatty and a little annoying, especially if she starts pulling out her flute. She tries to keep the conversation going until she can figure out if the player is a worthwhile customer. If they are, then she is more than happy to do business with them. If not, she always makes sure to let them know what she can do before she leaves with a polite parting comment. After even just her short time before the Apocalypse, she knows a lot of players through this tactic, but she doesn't know anybody very well. At least, not enough for her to call on their assistance now that they're all locked in the game world. She isn't accustomed to having close relationships with other people aside from her older brother, so teamwork, especially party adventuring, is difficult for her. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Julia was born in a small town not too far away from Edinburgh, Scotland. Her family, including her mother, grandfather, and old brother (Jameson), kept a small farm in order to supplement the income her father made with his job in the city. Everything was simple for her while she was growing up – she'd assist with the daily tasks of taking care of their livestock, attend the small school in town, then go back home to finish the farm work and do homework with her brother at night. She was a competitive girl who loved to challenge anyone to a race, and soon she had a reputation as the fastest girl in town. At the age of twelve, her father received a promotion from work, one that required him to relocate his family to an apartment in London. The move was difficult - neither Julia nor her brother wanted to leave their home in Scotland. The city environment was stifling for them, and they often spent a lot of time trying to convince their parents to let them visit the countryside just so that they could breathe some fresh air and get away from all the tall buildings. Julia's grades were beginning to slip as she lost focus in school because she spent more time daydreaming about home than paying attention in class. Three years passed and they were still living in the city, in the same apartment, with the same neighbors. Julia's grandfather had passed away while they were in the city, and she was on the verge of flunking out of school because her grades were so poor. She didn't see her brother very often anymore. She assumed it was because he was actually studying for school, but one night she found him staring at his computer, intensely consumed by the video game he was playing. He noticed her presence and began to show her what he was playing. Soon he had her hooked on the same MMORPGs he was playing. They made a great team together as a Bard/Fighter combination (Jameson tended to choose a new class in each game). With a new outlet for Julia's anxiety, homesickness, and utter frustration, she found herself able to pay more attention in school, get better grades, and was soon on her way to attending a small college in London. She lived in the apartment with her parents as they couldn't afford room and board at the college, but her brother had already moved off to another college with a scholarship that minimized his spending so that he could live on his own. The last MMO Jameson introduced Julia to was Elder Tale. They had both heard of its gain in popularity all over the world, so they were curious to try it. Plus, they had grown tired of the other games they had been playing. Just like the other games they had been playing when Jameson left for college, it was meant to hold their connection together because he was so far away. When the Apocalypse happened, though, Julia found herself alone. Jameson had not been transported into the game like she was. Having depended on him for so long, Julia didn't have a secure guild to rely on, so she has spent most of her time trying to cope with the loss and figure out how to survive. [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"] She really, really likes muffins, both irl and in-game. |

It is set so that the difference in level between the target and caster will affect how long it takes for it to fall asleep so the effect is not instantaneous. And so you might be countered if the target can see through the time it has before the effect occurs and cause this lock "Hit right before effect occurs" then sleep -> (Get hit) Wake up -> Immediate Sleep (Rinse and repeat) a "Sleep lock". When used, an aqua-blue ripple effect will occur and an image of a singing mermaid will appear over the head of the caster. [attr="class","skill"]Transcription: (Crafting, Scribe, Tier 1) Scribes are known for their ability to copy documents carefully. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. [attr="class","skill"]Checkpoint: (Subclass, Courier, Tier 1) When you're supposed to be delivering items all over the country, you need to be able to keep track of where your clients are supposed to be! This toggle skill scans the Courier's quest log and notifies them of each destination point or individual they need to meet with in order to complete the quest. This works as a tall pillar of light that can be seen from up to 100 meters away. Additionally, if the Courtier possesses a map of the list, these points are marked with a [QUEST] icon. Only the Courier is able to see these details. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Cloth Armor: A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric.
