Jojo dreamed the same dream again. She was playing a cello, her fingers dancing along the keys in subtle delightful manner while she held a firm and delicate hand against such an instrument. Playing with a small tune for singing as well. The words that reaped held strong emotional ties to her past, a past that she would never want to forget yet in the dream everything was so real. A passing memory of all her old friends from school, her grandfather’s wacky inventions even. However, most of all, the piece that brought tears to her eyes during this dream was the cooking her grandmother made. The longing for that food that she held so dearly in the past yet she could never really go without further into the future that time went. Until she opened her eyes sharply, feeling the fires of her dream wash away with the cooling rain.

Rain, this virtual world even had rain in it as she felt her body slowly soak in the cloth armor of similar white straitjacket she always wore. Her eyes looking higher than the sky as the rain came down. Was that memory the false world, and this the real world now? This question bugged Jojo to no end as she walked through the many envoys of the trees. A neutral zone like this was quite elegant for most while she walked about, her eyes looking around as she recollected herself. She was way behind than most of the players here, her own self was more noob than any other experienced player. She knew she played enough games to understand this one yet she was still just fresh to the system and its requirements. Her style of fighting was healing others, until she found a way to heal without the stave.

Jojo breathed in and out, calmly until she found herself in the town, her eyes looking around at the architecture with all of it in awe. This truly was magnificent, she herself was never actually one to have gone to England in the real world, so this could be considered a semi-dream come true. Yet in the end, it was all just pixels in a system, a system that she found herself disliking, as she could not stand the idea of having to live forever in the system she was trapped in. In her mind a small thought came though, “Is it so different out there though. Rules, regulations, morals, laws… all are things that aren’t completely specified inside this world but we still follow even if it isn’t completely needed.” It was the fact of living this life anyways. Her eyes slowly opening as she entered the town, walking through the very center of its quiet side as it was still fresh and brisk morning.

Xhy had just wondered into the city, this world's replica of her own home town, only given a new name, Londenium. It brought a small ache to her chest to think that it looked different, though some things remained almost unchanged. As she looked up, Xhy realized it began to rain. Slowly soaking her leather armor she wore, that looked like a simple black dress. Xhy felt the cold seep in, which was old. While still in the old world, she rarely got cold. She continued to walk looking at the buildings, and reliving small memories of a her dull life. Xhy was in the middle of thinking about one of her summers she had spent alone, walking in the busy streets of London, thinking back of how nice it was to know where she was. Suddenly she was jolted from reminiscing. Xhy looked to find she had run into someone. A girl, with green hair, and a white garment. "O-oh, sorry..." Jojo’s mind thought up the multiple things her grandmother cooked for her back when she was still a little girl. The cooking that was so lively and delightful in flavor and deliciousness that it left her mouth watering even in the midst of daydreaming on a normal afternoon. She opened her eyes just in time to notice herself being drawn in and soon being hit into by another player. Pink hair, pink like the sakura petals on her tree in the real world. That truly was something she had not seen every day and made her very aware that her eyes looked at the individual calmly and cocked her head to the side to gather even a better look while she soon perked a smile and easily found herself to having some more space given to her by the intruder of her bubble. If such a personal space could be called a bubble anyways.

Jojo smiled with a bow of her head, calmness about herself as she waved a hand in admissive apology, “No no, it is quite alright. Are you alright though? You did bump into me kind of hard there.” Jojo started to say, wondering if she would need to aid the girl in anything or if just being in the presence was enough as she cocked her head and wondered yet again with a calmness about her. A smile to her lips, as she would keep an eye on the girl. Jojo would put a hand out with a smile, not at all in a threatening way yet the tribal tattoos that skittered across her own body were oddly floral in their category and seemed to appear darker due to the rain’s constant fall. “So, would you like to find some shelter with me miss?” Jojo asked politely, wanting to get out of the rain as the thought of being sick in a game made her kind of queasy just thinking about it.

Looking at the girl, who offered Xhy her hand and a smile. As well and a question. Thinking over her words, Xhy slowly replies, "I guess it couldn't hurt perhaps to find some, and don't worry about me I'm fine." Xhy tilted her head slightly to the side, looking at the girl's golden eyes and almost seemed to shine. "Let's go, the rain has started a chill." Jojo smiled as her hand was held by the other girl’s yet the shake hadn’t lasted very long and she could tell the girl was quite cold by the rain. Funny how those sensors seemed so realistic in this virtual world. Her eyes looking around as the rain kept falling, She sighed lightly and then pointed at a tavern inn, a place that should be heated and with any luck empty enough for them. “We should try over there, it looks toasty warm and at the least it is out of the rain.” She said with a smile, walking over there as she read up on a myth that running in the rain happened to actually make one more drenched than walking in it. Her body approaching the tavern as she smiled calmly and looked at the girl to see if she was following or not, hoping in all seriousness that she was.

If she did indeed follow, Jojo would smile with saying, “My name is Jojo, what’s yours?” She smiled, even if there were disputes between different aspects, she only knew so much about this world and happened to know that she could easily talk to others perhaps easier than in other places. This was only one of those times that talking to another person and trying to get to know them was in her favor before opening the tavern door, a wave of heat passing through her. She smiled, holding the door open for the girl she was bumped into by. The tavern itself was emptier than on a normal day, odd in its normalcy yet at the same time it held enough regard that the employees here was just one man, an older gentleman, perhaps an NPC who was polishing a glass similar to one for whiskey or scotch.

Following the girl in front of her, she nodded and said softly, "Xhy Lynn, but call me Xhy." Walking ahead of her new acquaintance into the tavern she saw a NPC, a People of the Land as she had heard others call them, cleaning a glass. Nodding the the man who ran the inn as a greeting walking in with quick feet, settled at a close empty table, yet not to far from, what seems, the freshly started yet warm hearth, and looked to Jojo to see if she would follow suit and join her there. 96 :word count Xhy Lynn | Bard Dancer | Pharmacist

Xhy Lynn, such a name was very odd and Jojo did not actually have any idea how to define the name nor figure out any characteristics that stood out to her more so than any other. That was definitely enough for her to wonder what exactly this girl had going for her here in this realm as she calmly looked and watched the girl moving about to soon finding herself at the bartender and waved a hand for two drinks. Her eyes wandering along the tavern as she picked up Xhy over at the hearth. She moved over after having paid for the drinks and brought them over, setting them down on the table before she sat down as she smiled with a courteous nod. “Here Xhy, I think this will help warm you up.” Granted, saké in general was a good way to warm someone up on the inside.

Alternatively, at the very least, the bubbly feeling could get most chills to go away enough for her to look at the girl, wondering just what she thought about the situation of this virtual reality world. The world in and of itself was anything but ideal, yet even she was mixing up the real world for this one in her dreams and memories. Just why was she so drawn to this world in the first place. What draws anyone to the virtual reality side of the worlds that she and so many others face. Jojo had to try to understand and find the reason out in some manner that she just could not bear to understand. In her thoughts she processed it slowly, “perhaps that is why I passed out when I first heard I could never log out again. That I was stuck inside this world with no way to return back home.”

Xhy gladly accepted the drink from Jojo, drawing it up to her lips taking a small swig at first. Placing the mug down she let a small small dance on her lips before returning to her usual slightly frowning face, and once again brought the mug up for another drink. "Thanks it does help." Xhy half closed her eyes, observing as Jojo take drinks from the mug is her own hand. "Staying the night here might not be too bad, although it beats sleeping in the rain." Jojo appreciated the small talk as it arrived. A bit of a come and go fashion as her eyes looked and peered with a small and similar likeness of the situation. She felt drawn to the girl, perhaps drawn to the personality yet she was glad that the drink choice was good enough for the girl’s palette. Jojo did not mind the taste of saké but knew others did not like it. To be truthfully honest, she was a problem drinker, especially after witnessing her father’s suicide so that was enough for her to drink from an early age onwards. Her ears picking up talk while she smiled and nodded in kind, “You are welcome. And yes I do have to agree, sleeping inside is always better than the rain.” She smiled more now. Hoping to keep a smile on her face even when given the situation similar to this one in her mind.

“I am surprised the rain here is so familiar, the chills of the wind as well. Both things are truly magnificent to think about as far as the real world is concerned. I am curious though, how did you handle the news of this world?” Jojo was curious, naturally so since she herself had little memory given the fact that she was trapped in this world and put in a coma at the same time in the world she came to admire and hate all at the same time. Similarly, this world reminded her so much of the real world that the reality was slowly slipping for the virtual to take its place. Such a conundrum was not to her expectations yet Jojo found that the comfort of this may be to an advantage, and then she thought lightly on it, “I could probably get us a room if you want, and who knows maybe this tavern has baths in the rooms as well.”

Xhy nodded, while listening to Jojo talk. "I was a bit shocked, but I feel like it would be bothersome to get too wrapped up in thinking about it too much. Much like what happened before I came here, in the previous world I didn't care much for my surroundings, I guess it stays the same. A room would be nice, I'll gladly split the cost, since I can't ask you to pay for it all." Xhy took several small sips, leaning her right elbow on the table. "The rain reminds me a bit of going up north into the country side. It was nice, I don't think it would be even remotely the same." Xhy finished off her drink, and reached into her sack, where she kept her Lute, although she normally strapped it across her back, and began plucking a few note and chords. "I hope you don't mind." Jojo was surprised that Xhy took this so calmly, almost made Jojo wonder what could scare the girl in front of her if anything at all could scare her. In addition, the fact she did not care for the surroundings of the previous world was enough for her to wonder more about the girl as she eyed her with care. Indeed the rain was a reminiscent one but to Jojo, rain was all the same. However, her mental thoughts on what Xhy was saying while Jojo took a good swig of her saké gave a generous idea when seeing a lute become known. She looked at it and blinked calmly, never expecting this girl to be a bard styled character. That gave enough idea as she smiled and nodded kindly enough with a grin. “Well, I don’t mind you playing at all. In fact lutes are very harmonious and calming instruments.

“I actually used to play cello in the real world, crazy as it was, and I kind of liked it. So any instrument of the string family is a good one to listen to.” She smiled, taking a sweet and succulent swig of her mug and letting the warm saké flow down her throat as she watched the girl. She wondered what else the girl was capable of while in most retrospect she could analyze that by being a musician probably met an entertainer styled character before the big cataclysm that occurred. Someone like this was truly magnificent to listen to while she looked at the tattoos along her body. Being a ritual child race meant she herself was more so a magic bearer, while Xhy being more human like probably could mean a number of things. Her mind went back to that room, and she smiled slightly, “Well, I don’t mind the splitting price at all, in fact it does sound more fair that way right?”

Xhy nodded, and began a lesser rendition of  the game's opening, with a few minor changes due to the instrument type. Filling the tavern with the soft sounds and strummed chords, Xhy began repeating the song over once more before setting her Lute down. "A cello must have been nice to play. I'm not big on preforming, but it has been a bit since I could touch an instrument so it might have not been that great." Jojo was definitely pleased by the girl’s musical ability, it made for Jojo to excitingly smile and pleasantly look at the girl with a definite feeling of tranquility. She felt the chime of each strum and chord fill her with gratitude while she knew the song was of this very game’s make. She could only be mad so long at the game itself before looking at the girl and nodding when she spoke of herself. Jojo could only smile with a courteous nod, “Well, even if you are not big on performing you are still quite a good musician. In addition, if this is the result of not having touched an instrument in so long, I can still say you must have been quite the musician in the world of reality. I mean, the music was incredibly complex and you were capable of playing it without sheet music and that is commendable.”

Jojo though, was not jealous of this girl’s capability to play music, in fact she was hoping that her praise would at least help this girl smile more than that small smile she was giving off currently. Jojo only could do so much and she just hoped that with this, she could make the girl smile more. Finishing off her drink, she drank the last of the saké and looked up at the ceiling. She placed the empty mug to her skull and felt the coolness of it against her skin, “So, want me to wash your back for you?” She asked, not a heavy drunk but it just slipped out. Normally she had that bisexuality of hers in check enough not to say such things but that just slipped out and immediately she was glad her face was looking at the ceiling with a mug over her face to hide the blush already blooming.

Thank you for saying so." Xhy smiled a bit wider relaxing her shoulders. Xhy's face turned pink as she heard the comment about washing her back, and Xhy was glad Jojo had her face to the ceiling and currently couldn't see Xhy beginning to blush over a simple statement. Xhy never even bathed with her own siste, She'd never stayed the night over with a friend or anyone at all for that matter, nor ever she had a guest over for more then five minutes. A bath sounds nice although Xhy's head was beginning to reel with over thinking. Pinching her cheek hard to bring her back to her sense before she got caught up in some vaguely obscene and rather interesting train of though."S-s-sure, I mean a bath does sound nice and it will make sure we don't get sick, if we e-even can in this world..." Xhy stood up quickly and turned to face the fire, her face still pink. Xhy after spending a few minutes by the fire, walked over to the Tavern Keeper, asking the rates for a room and about baths. After paying for her half, Xhy signaled for Jojo to do the same. And asked the way to the rooms and the bath house. Dropping her supplies in the room, and following one of the other Tavern worker to the bath house around back, Xhy didn't quite know if Jojo had followed, still embarrassed over such a small situation. Jojo smiled lightly of herself, looking calmly while her eyes looked at this individual with curious thought of herself in the same manner. She only grinned more with a calm smile until she heard this girl speak, but the speech she used was enough to keep Jojo in a blushing state with eyes up at the ceiling. Taking into account that the girl in front of her provided enough amiable space for an elegant joy in which she came closer to the girl as she found herself even smelling the scent with a small hint of a smile to her own lips coming forth. This truly was different as she followed her and paid her half of the rent for the tavern inn and bath all on her own way. A smile to her lips brought forth while she maneuvered herself and followed closely, giggling at the fact that when they split the charge, they actually were picking the same room and that only intensified the blush.

Jojo undressed in the staging area for the bath, her tattooed body covered a good portion of her as she draped a towel around her frame when entering the bath. Her eyes looking around and with a solid and influential sigh, “Oh this place definitely feels good. I can definitely get used to this in no doubt of my mind.” She eased up, thinking happily and consistently with what she used to and what she currently knew. A soft hand touching the back of Xhy’s neck as she smiled and entered the bath, the bath itself reminding her of the Japanese open-air baths. “This place, almost reminds me of Osaka, to be honest I had thought I would never see another place like that again but at the least, this is enough for me to understand .” Jojo teased delightfully, bargaining a smile to her lips without any disregard at all on her mark.

Xhy felt a hand touch her back and she willed herself to be calm."O-osaka? So you're from Japan? I've never been there it must be nice, especially since this place remind you of it." Xhy let out a small breath, and closed her eyes, sinking her face into the warm water, and feeling the heat transfer to her face. Her hair floating around her as she opened her eyes and kept her nose above water so she could continue to breathe. Xhy's heart beating nervously to be so close to someone she considered a friend. It was something new. She typically didn't let others hear her play, nor would she share a room normally, maybe it was that drink. "T-that drink? What was it... I feel a bit d-disoriented." Xhy lifts her head from the water, and standing up suddenly. "I-its really hot in here..." Xhy shifts her wait and sits on the edge, still letting her feet dangle in the water. Xhy looked at Jojo, who seemed to be completely at ease. Xhy let out an internal sigh, forcing herself to try to stop getting worked up, she wasn't normally like this, her emotions were slipping out left and right. Perhaps she was drunk, the very thought seemed surprising, and uneasy. She can't remember the first time she was drunk, it had happened once before. Her brother had brought some alcohol home, not to long after she had turn 18, although it wasn't much... She took some sips and later thee next day she didn't remember a think, although her brother did look at her weirdly the next day. Xhy slumped her shoulders in defeat.  Slowly Xhy began to mutter under her breath. "I'm drunk!" Jojo watched the girl calming herself and already guess where she was from. She only smiled and nodded while sitting in the water beside the girl, a smile to her lips with calmness yet blush fueled as well. “Yes, I am from Japan and my body out in the real world still is in Japan.” Most of course would be in Europe, but then again she used the brand new server to utilize it. Then the question occurred of what the drink was as she sighed herself and yet she still smiled with a giggle all the same time. “Well that drink is saké, a drink made of about fifteen percent alcohol.” She spoke calmly, yet her calmness was slow to see that impairment of the girl as she watched and kindly wondered how the girl was doing before she found something about the girl happening without ever knowing it would happen until it did.

Jojo’s eyes widened as she watched the girl stand right up, and yes the explanation was that she was drunk yet Jojo was surprised anyone could get drunk off one mug in this world. She soon sat next to the girl with a hand against her back, kind intention all she had to help rub the drunkenness away as she looked into those eyes. “Xhy, please forgive me, I never thought one mug would get you so drunk.” She admitted but at the same time it was still one thing rather than another as she watched this girl. Looking along the girl she felt her own mind going differently, blush forming along her cheeks before finding herself leaning in closer. Her body leaning in as close as possibly until finally she went in to kiss the girl, the random thing she does to many while the kiss itself, even though drunken, was a highly passionate one due to being drunk rather than a normal kiss she occasionally did.

Xhy had felt Jojo's had rub small circles on her back, relaxing at the touch Xhy laughed a bit." 'Tis fine! I get drunk e-easy I g-guessssss." Xhy shook her head softly, then turned to see Jojo looked at her, and Xhy just stared back at her, Jojo's face becoming clearer then the rest of the room at that moment. Jojo leaned in and Xhy thought she was going to speak, yet she kept coming closer, til suddenly Jojo's lips were matching hers. The part of Xhy that was still half normal thought it was her first kiss, but hadn't Her brother brought friends with him that night also? Her brother's friends also would give her weird looks when they came over the few times after that day, one even tried to talk to her asking if she had fun, and remembered the night, which confused her and brought a blush to his face. Being pulled back into the present though Xhy got lost in the moment of Jojo's lips, Xhy found herself pushing up against the girl to get closer to have more, Xhy needed more, the feelings were a rush, yet familiar as if it had happened before. The heat was making her dizzy, or was it the alcohol from earlier, the exhilaration felt good. Xhy snaked her slender arms around Jojo's shoulders locking them in place. Xhy broke the kiss that had seemed to have just started, for a momentary giggle, then pushing Jojo back against the ground. "Let's have some f-fun, Jooooojoo." Jojo felt the kiss seem to thoroughly deepen, their bodies mingling at touch and yet she could not help to feel that instead of letting the girl relax, she had more so started to take advantage of her. This would not due though for Jojo as she looked at the girl, wondering just what was going on in that head, her eyes however got a clean look into those of Xhy’s. She could almost feel the bathing heat come from skin contact upon her own skin. Indeed it was no longer chilly and she would have to do her best to remember never to let other’s drink saké without warning them in the future. However while she had begun thinking about all this, her mind came clear and she eyed the girl calmly before touching that face, the face of Xhy who appeared to be coming in for another kiss.

Jojo sighed lightly, whispering a small word, “I’m sorry,” and at that moment she raised herself up, sitting up with the girl still very close to her. At that time she then forced a punch through, against all her beliefs she punched into the solarplex of the girl. Her fist if connecting the punch would force all air to flow out of the body, an instant reaction to body shut down where Xhy would lay helpless. That is only by chance if the hit connected and in this range and the proximity of the attack, no doubt the attack should land. Jojo hated to hurt someone, but she knew that she could not take advantage of anyone, nor would she allow for her time to try and comfort or find love be doused by those drunk. No, such feelings had to be of the sober heart and thereby she sighed once more.

If the punch connected, Jojo would assume to carry the girl with her, carry her to the room with some clothes as well. Luckily no one to see them and once in the room she clothed Xhy in a robe after drying her off. She knew she could have done a good deal of fun with the girl, but being drunk would have ruined all of the experience in the first place and Jojo hated to do that. Thereby once laying the girl down, she laid down beside her, watching and humming a song she herself played on the cello many times. The humming was of a lullaby meant for a piano to play yet she only did this while her hand smoothly pet strands of the girl’s pink hair into place. Smiling as she too slowly went to sleep as well, knowing that Xhy would be feeling pain in her chest’s solarplex area and her head due to the hangover without a doubt.

Xhy's second attempt at a kiss was disrupted by Jojo suddenly bringing her back into a sitting position. Xhy heard the words sorry, then felt a sharp pain in her chest, leaving her with no breath and her vision began to darken. The pain from Jojo punch radiating to the outer parts of her body, sending a large shock into her brain before Xhy was unconscious. ------- The first thing she felt in the morning was her chest hurting, along with her head slightly beginning to pounding from a decent hangover, much like the one from her first time drinking. Groaning she stretched and got up looking around the room, messaging her chest to help it relax. Her head was blank, she remembered the drink, and getting ready to take a bath but from there her mind couldn't recall anything."Perhaps its nothing, maybe I ran into someone in the bath that's why my chest hurts, it can happen." Xhy shrugged and picked up her things. Turning around she saw Jojo, who had been laying next to where Xhy had been. Xhy couldn't tell if Jojo were sleeping or laying there quietly awake. If she was sleeping she didn't want to disturb her, same as if she were awake, some aren't morning people. Xhy, quietly picked up a small bit of gold, and padded softly over to the door to head to the main floor of the tavern to get breakfast for herself and Jojo if she wanted it. Xhy was always hungry when she woke up, so she might as well offer jojo something if she wants. Heading down the stairs, Xhy thought of what to order, she didn't think drinking what she had drank last night was best, since it did seem she had a headache, maybe a hangover. If Jojo had gotten up, and eventually come down stairs following Xhy, breakfast would be being ordered.
