[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]Sobi Havé [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: James O'Reilly [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Male [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 26 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Bisexual [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: Hong Ryong, DIVINE BELLS [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Sobi [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]Sobi is a man of slender, short build and most certainly below average when it comes to height and weight comparatively to other men. Despite this, Sobi is toned. Not muscular, but definitely has bulk to him. He is strong. Stronger than appearances let on. His hair is shoulder-length and an illuminating shade of blonde, not muddy enough to be mistaken for brown, nor bright enough to be mistaken for platinum blonde. It just radiates slightly, reflecting the sun in the right way when he walked around outside, yet did the same even inside or underground. His eyes are yellow and half-open. They are set into his head slightly, forming bags under his eyes as if he never gets enough sleep. His nose is slim and sticks up slightly. His ears stick out slightly too far for his liking but are small enough most people don't really notice. In public, his hair will always be hidden beneath the red beret, emblazoned with a golden sun symbol upon the brow. It sticks out from the sides though. He always dresses in red robes, with golden symbols emblazoned upon his shoulders. Despite looking completely healthy, Sobi moves with a walking staff in casual meetings. It seems to be from his real life, where he is missing his right leg and walks with a crutch. He doesn't need the walking staff, he just likes it. Sobi always stands straight and upright, always proper and always has a purpose to his stride, as if wherever he is going it is important. Sobi looks very different to James in real life. Sobi has blonde hair, whilst James has brown. Sobi has yellow eyes, whilst James has green. They are the same height though at about 5ft, 3in and both weigh around 67kg. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]You might expect a person of his height to be defensive or belligerent to his height problems. Instead however, he acts more like a mischievous little brother who has moments of pure clarity and maturity. Most of the time he is childish, and likes to joke around and mess about. He is a little rascal. He is quite extroverted in front of people but loves having time to himself. He enjoys the quiet as much as he enjoys the company of others. He is outgoing when he needs to be. The most key part of his personality is his adaptability. He adapts when the situation requires it. It allows him to usually come out on top in arguments and discussions. Sometimes he does forget what he was discussing in the first place and tangents into nonsense, such is his capacity to remain on one topic at a time. He is definitely not naive, despite what others may see. He acts childish because he wants to, but that doesn't mean he doesn't understand the complexities of what is going on around him. He is always looking to understand what is going on and find out new things. Speaking up is his forte. He also has no comprehension of mood. He understands when people are sad or happy but he doesn't really care and acts as if he doesn't. He is care-free. He doesn't like having to be serious. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Born in London, his father worked long enough in the building industry as a contractor to buy himself a shop, a small groceries store where James grew up in, on the second floor. The shop always made good money and his father would tell him that James would have a career for him carrying on the business. His father was a strict man, a serious man. He did not like to be contradicted or told otherwise. He had been like that ever since his mother died. It wasn't either of their faults. She died from lung cancer. When they found out about it, it was too late. The classic cliché really. James didn't get depressed, if anything he wanted to fight to protect his mother's memory just as his dad did. He would take over the store, he would be all that he could be. When he finished school, he didn't go on to university but instead started learning the family business bit by bit. He worked harder than anyone thought he would. He was a shoe in for taking over the business in the next ten years or so. On the side, James frequently trained for marathons and other charity events, supporting research for cancer all the time. He always drummed up a lot of support for his cause, he was very vocal about it. He continued to do this when on one marathon, his right leg gave away and he collapsed onto the cold hard concrete beneath him. When he was taken to hospital, they informed him he had a rare muscle degenerative disease, and the muscles in his leg were all but mush - in layman's terms. He would need a crutch, and due to the fall, his leg was a mess of disjointed bones and caught blood vessels. It was decided to just amputate the leg and prevent him from ever doing any exercise. The less he worked the muscles, the longer they would last. James still didn't get depressed, he still didn't take it and let it beat him. He kept his chin up and buckled down into other outlets of his time. Now that he couldn't train, he needed something else to pass his time. That was when he found Elder Tale. He decided to give it a shot. He had enough money to waste, why not? Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. [attr="class","skill"]Martyr Spear: One of the cleric's few offensive options. This spell takes three seconds to cast and causes a spear of light to appear in the air above the cleric. After the spear is ready, the cleric points at a target. The spear will promptly head towards the target's position at a high velocity and strike the opponent with light-elemental damage. While this skill has a decently long range, it becomes naturally easier to dodge the farther away the opponent is. [attr="class","skill"]Holy Aura: A skill that places holy protection upon the target, lasting for an entire hour. Characters affected by Holy Aura recover from Mind/Curse status effects twice as fast as usual. [attr="class","skill"] [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armour : Chain Armour: Starter Chainmail: A basic set of chainmail armour made from cheap iron. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand : Apprentice Grimoire: A one-handed apprentice’s book of spells designed for novice mages, made out of cheap materials. Doesn’t particularly have too many pages, but it is better than nothing. If used by a magic class, you get the ability to shoot a basic magic attack with a range of 2 meters. [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand : Starter Wand: A one-handed starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. Conducts magic better than a regular weapon but lacks any physical damage presence. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
