The frontier of Sarum was a perfectly good place to train and grind, being a new zone few adventurers actually dwelled there and it was mostly free for him to grind at his heart contents. What most people didn't realize was that the monsters spawning here weren't only for the more higher leveled players, in fact there was this species of golems called "golem sentries" that could range in levels between 1 and 10, perfect for people like Leo who wanted to raise their levels without risking too much.
That day was cloudy and cold, the sun could barely shine through the thick mass of clouds and it looked like it would rain soon. Leo didn't like that weather, he didn't like any weather that made the air colder than 15 degrees manly because he was still used to the beautiful weather of his own country. Although he left his native country to study in Britain since a year, Leo still had to get used to the rainy weather there to the point where sometimes he thought of giving everything up and return to his own sunny land.
Leo traversed the camp with his eyes fixed into an expression that was between angered and annoyed, his body trembled a bit and his armor wasn't even sufficient to warm him up, the only way to make his body a bit warmer was to fight.
By the time he left the camp, the dark clouds in the air completely covered the sun and reversed their wrath on Leo in the form of rain. Leo's expression didn't change, his eyebrows just became a bit more angular due to the amount of annoyance he was feeling. His hair and clothes were rendered completely wet after few seconds, making him even more uncomfortable , he didn't know if he could take a cold in this world and he was sure that if he could then there was no possibility that after this hunting session he wouldn't have it.
The young swashbuckler tried to keep his thoughts from the coldness and the rain, he tried his best to focus on the best strategy to deal with those golem types mobs that dwelt in this part of the over world. They were sturdy creatures that could give quite a punch, thankfully Leo had an edge against these kind of creatures though. His artisan skill "carve" enabled him to inflict 20% more damage to rock type mobs, a particularly handy ability to have against these stone golems.
Suddenly, Leo jumped back on his track as 2 lvl 3 golem sentries appeared in front of him. Leo's feet met the ground again while his body was crouched slightly for better balance while in the air, he grinned at his enemies and brought his arms to the hilt of his trusty swords. With a quick movement he unsheathed the blades and reversed the grip on the hilt so that their edges would point behind him, then he sprinted forward to get a preemptive strike on the closest mob.
He concentrated and activated his toggle skill <carve> while dashing forwards, his swords held behind him cutting blades of grass and drops of rain. Once he was near enough, he jumped forward , just slightly on the side of the mob to not clash on it with his body, he brought his right arm on the left side of his body and then repeated the same movement in reverse with force to hit the mob with a powerful slash. His right sword was then quickly followed a moment later by Leo's left one, which concluded the combo he envisioned. The golem sentry lost a lot HP thanks to the 20% damage output bonus of his carve skill, Leo was thankful that his artisan class still had some useful skills even in combat.
The jump made him fly past the mob, when he returned to ground he quickly rotated his body and made a succession of quick jumps backwards to get some safe distance. Leo grinned again and resumed his battle pose, a long day of grinding had just started.
