His face has a certain air about it, as if showing in a physical way that he was held a determined demeanor. His clothing tends to be rather unorthodox considering the location consisting of a bright red vest over a black hooded shirt. His eyes are a deep brown which almost look purple or red when perceived in the right lighting. His skin tone is a cold white but is not quite pale. His physical stature puts him at 5'10" in height and his medium sized frame places him in a lightweight category. His body is physically athletic, but it is not bulky or over sized in any way. He wears black jeans along with black shoes. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Barbarossa has a very introverted personality. He prefers to keep to himself and worry very little about the outside world. That said, he's not above helping people and finds great joy in helping others rather than helping only himself. He prefers the silence of solitude over the loud roar of a crowd and he feels most comfortable when he's by himself or with a group of tightly-knit friends. This likely stems from his abrasive personality. He hates people who can't handle a little joke or insult and will likely point and laugh at them when they cry. He prefers to be around people who can toss a jab back when he makes remarks, finding people like that far more fun to be around. When he's not in groups or doing anything particular important, he has a habit of simply sitting and losing himself within his own thoughts. He tends to think about the most random things when simply daydreaming. His favorite topic is humanity as a whole. He has a great belief in the nature of humanity, believing that even people who are nihilistic and want to do harm to the world have an inner niceness. Barbarossa has a air of calmness in just about any situation. He gives off the air as if he doesn't care and tries not to be flustered even by things which probably should bother him. He believes that the best way to survive is to keep calm and think through things both rationally and fairly. While he realizes the strength of his emotions, he tries to keep them at bay and keep them hidden away. He does not like losing control, but he is quite able to deal with it, assuming it is in his best interest. Although Barbarossa is a fairly smart person, he tends to improvise even when planning ahead would be the smarter idea. He's not one to think ahead, causing him to stumble over small mistakes which would have been caught in early stages of planning. At the same time, this has caused him to become rather quick on his toes when it comes to mental work. He's always able to maintain fun conversation and is good at thinking on the fly. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Hadrian is an English-born man who was born to a British Naval Family. As a result, he was taught in a naval academy from his childhood until college. In his younger years, he partook in several MMOs with his free time, finding them far more convenient than actually meeting large groups of friends in the real world. He had small goals which were easily obtained in comparison to the work he was forced to do in the real world. For a while, these games acted as an escape from the day-to-day issues he was being forced to deal with. When Elder-Tale was first released, Hadrian signed up and made and account, but soon forgot about the actual game for several years. He didn't exactly find the game all that interesting. It was your typical run-of-the-mill MMO with nothing going for it aside from it's economy systems. He spent this time focusing almost entirely on school, playing few games and Elder-Tale was at the bottom of his list of games. Originally, he had absolutely no interest in the game because unlike many MMOs of the time, Elder-Tale had no sailing skill or ability. However, when he was transported into the game, he eventually grew used to the environment for no reason other than the fact that he had no choice but to play. Because of the flashiness of this skill, it's a popular technique among aspiring warriors. Try not to use it while the opponent's at the edge of a cliff or right against a wall, though. Woodcrafters naturally have an affinity for chopping and carving wood, making their abilities key in harming monsters that happen to be arboreal in nature. Woodcrafters deal 20% more damage to Plant-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Plant-type monsters upon a successful hit. Woodcrafters can spend their time in a thread researching carpentry structures when not crafting for players. For every post they make in the thread, the Woodcrafting Quality increases by 1. After the thread has been completed, the Woodcrafter may post in the research claim thread and a Carpentry recipe will be made available to all players based on the Woodcrafting Quality. [attr="class","skill"]Mariner: Passive skill. As opposed to the usual player's one-minute limit, the fisherman may remain submerged in the water for two minutes before having to resurface for air or suffer gradual damage. Their movement speed in the water is also not reduced compared to a player's normal speed reduction of 20%.
