Seeing that they had gotten Map Pieces after helping complete a segment of mapping out the great wild yonder that was known as ‘the rest of Sarum’, Han suddenly got this idea and quickly flipped through her ‘Friends’ list, which was slowly but surely increasing in number. Scrolling through it until she found the name of the person she wanted to contact, she then tapped it, and then chose the option to send a voice message in two languages. The first one came out in Japanese, of course; but the English translation was right on its hells, and it said this: “Get over here to Sarum, let’s go scout the area some more. I’m sure you have those weird ‘Map Piece’ things, right? Let’s try and complete it!” and after that was done, she quickly pressed ‘Send’ and then closed out her menu. She was already within Sarum limits, and she was now pacing through the makeshift camp site, waiting for her ‘partner’ to show up.
Besides, I got this extra piece from Ry—Kumori, and I want to get the remaining piece to see what’s going to happen with it. Who knows what we’ll get? She thought to herself as she started to pace impatiently, not noticing that her Elvin ears were poking out from her short hair due to her constant pacing. Hurry up slowpoke; we have to get going otherwise all the good map pieces will be taken! She thought as she continued to pace around impatiently, looking and watching the crowd that was setting up for the day; or otherwise making preparations in order to take care of the ‘Golem’ problem that always threatened to overtake the ‘base camp’ that they had set up right at the frontier. She then decided to go through her inventory and examined the two Map Pieces she currently had; and saw that they were part of a set, but she was missing the middle piece. Where is that middle piece? She thought, looking at the two frayed pieces of cloth that were seemingly humming with some sort of energy.
Hope I can get the missing piece and see where this leads… she thought as she continued to inspect the tattered pieces of cloth in her hands. [376]

He was in Serum just not anywhere near where Han was, he was sitting on the grassy grounds his back resting against a tree, he found himself looking down at two flowing tattered pieces of cloth that seemed to belong to something, well that something being a bigger picture he was sure. He eyed them both one on each end, obviously a missing piece in the center he would smirk as he stared at the two pieces letting himself reach for them before he suddenly heard the sound of a notification. He would look at the hovering envelope that was right in his face, the thing kept ringing over, and over again annoying him a bit but nonetheless his hand reached up to press it when he did it began playing a voice message. He sighed in relief at least he didn't have to read shutting his eyes he listened quietly to the words that played from the message, opening his eyes he would stare at the message just as it ended with a quick press of the button he would press the button. With the menu closed down he would sit up from where he laid down, "Well, looks like I got my work cut out for me again" he whispered with a chuckle as he jumped up to his feet taking his katana from the ground.
Bunji would push it into his waistline, the long sleeveless cloak that he wore flowed at the ankles he would stare at the distance using the coordinates that his menu was showing the location of Hanelli. He would begin to run towards that location, she wasn't very far so he would get there in a few minutes tops his cloak dancing behind him wildly as he kept running towards the location where the girl was at. Eventually he would see different people around him, traveling warriors he figured out here for one reason or another he would slow his pace to a walk once he spotted Hanelli in the distance; Bunji would step towards her making his presence known. He would raise a hand overhead waving it at her as he got closer to her until he stopped just a few feet from her.
"Hey there Han!" he said to her as he came to a stop his hood down, so his long locks of red hair dancing with the winds flow as he turned form the girl staring off to the great unknown that was this new land they were mapping. "So...we're hunting down that last piece eh?" he asked her with a smirk.

She was still busy examining the two pieces that she had with her when a familiar voice called her attention, and the moment she looked up; the first thing she noticed was the wagging tail. “Yep, you got that right. I have a problem set here, too,” she began, gesturing for him to take a closer look in her hands—she was also holding two pieces of a map that looked like they were part of a series, yet was missing that one final piece in the middle. “So I figured out how it works. Are you ready to go risk life and limb again for that final piece? Here are the tools,” she said, dropping the two Map Pieces into her inventory and then suddenly popping out the ‘mapping instruments’; it was the same set-up as last time: special paper, special pen. “Well, let’s go out a different exit this time; we might get another new area added to this,” she gestured, pointing towards a certain exit. She knew that they’d gone out the other way the last time; and other than that, Sarum was just really…huge.
“Come on, pink dopey vacant staring creature, let’s go!” she said, chuckling his way. That was her way of saying ‘slowpoke’; since she knew the Japanese names, but did not have an idea, of what their English equivalents were. Hey maybe reading my entire collection in English would help me understand more… or playing everything in English… she thought to herself, definitely making a note for it and then leading the march out of the camp, even waving to some of the other merchants who had set up stall there; she was getting pretty known to the faces that had made the Sarum ‘base camp’ their temporary home; what with her own booth opened up on certain days of the week. Not even she could sit still for that long and just make potions every single day. [325]

He would nod at the girl crossing his arms over his chest "I understand entirely. I have the same amount of pieces too, they need a second piece one that goes in the middle" he said to her nodding at her following words he would quietly follow her, not really catching the fact that she had called him a slowpoke. He would walk behind the girl his arms hanging at his sides as his cloak flowed behind him at ankle height remaining there as he kept moving his tail swaying side to side as well, he would follow the girl as they made their way to the other exit that would lead out of this place. He would continue to walk until they reached the area that he figured was the path that would lead to this other exit the girl talked about, when they arrived Bunji would step a few steps ahead of Han. His eyes focusing on the distant horizon, "This is going to be a bit of a pain..." he said with a low chuckle as he stared t the distant area.
"This place is going to be full of enemies...we should be careful" he said to the girl his eyes glancing at her as he began to walk using his map tools to begin drawing in the path, his attention would be focused down on the map, and then he would glance up every now, and then to notice any worthwhile landmarks. The young man kept walking until he came to a stop turning his face towards the girl, "Looks like there's something worth noting...let's not get too close though. Hornet Soldiers would wipe us out at this point in the game" he said to her making it known that he'd rather avoid the conflict. He would remain quiet as he began to draw in the details of the next he had spotted. It was lodged between two giant boulders it was busy with hornets flying in, and out as well as hovering near it guarding it from intruders.
"Draw it in, and try not to aggro them" he whispered to Han as he started to draw in the details of the nest he would watch as the special ink sunk into the paper detailing the poorly drawn nest to near acceptable levels. He would label it to be safe, 'DANGER ZONE: Avoid the Hornet Soldier hive!' the letters would hover over the area where the nest was.

“Getting those map pieces we need? Oh, definitely,” she said with a light snort, before breaking out into a laugh. For a moment, she chuckled, and then her face reverted to something that had seen something caught in headlights and she began marking out their location on the piece of paper she’d brought along with her. She was secretly thankful that the marking pen made everyone a ‘fabulous artist’, even if their drawings were just generally terrible. Making sure to designate a certain point as ‘Sarum Base Camp’ (in her own way of course) she then began drawing a path, along with a few lines; until their current location was mapped. Seeing that he was now taking the lead, she decided to follow him, filling in the blank areas as she did so, while noticing that every single thing they passed was either dead, or in a state of decay. Why is everything dying out here? Was there some kind of fallout? She thought to herself as she continued drawing in the path she was walking on, totally not noticing that she had already bumped into his back.
“Oof…” she hissed for a few moments, momentarily rubbing her head; yet secretly inhaling his scent as well; because for a fox-tail… why does he sell of strawberries? She thought to herself as he was calling her attention and pointing out something and then, she heard the buzzing noise. Wondering what it was, she then took a peek at his map and then realized that they had very nearly walked into what looked like a nest full of swarming, buzzing... she didn’t catch their proper name but she heard his warning of drawing it in, and then moving away as slowly as they could manage. Thanks for the warning, she thought, quickly sketching in two circles, which then turned into a pair of rocks, and then she did her best attempt at drawing a hive, and then drew something that vaguely resembled a hornet above it along with an arrow pointing to the crack between the two rocks. “Sorry,” she said in a whisper, “…but my written English is still horrible. I’m just drawing in what they are, at least to me,” she continued, showing him the portion of the map that she’d just finished drawing in.
Okay, now, backing away real slowly… she thought, inching her way backwards until she was certain that she was at a safe distance and then something else caught her eye; why was there a gathering of rocks out on this part of the area? “Hey, come over here,” she called in hushed tones, before quickly sketching in the rocky formation she’d stumbled upon and then adding something like a shooting star drawing above it. “I don’t know what this is for but it looks…strangely fixed, if you ask me,” she said, squinting into the distance and seeing that the rocks were seemingly laid out in a certain particular fashion, was it something like a calendar they used to measure the stars with? She then shelved these thoughts and then walked straight out into the field of rocks and began sketching in the entire thing with as much detail as she could muster. [537]

Once they were done with the Hornets he would glance at her map smirking as he leaned in closer, "Don't mind me" he said a she reached in with his brush writing the letters in over her drawing that read the same thing as his 'Hornet Soldier's Nest, DANGER' he would pull away once he had done that watching as the words sunk into the paper hovering over Han's drawing. Once that was done he would turn to his own map sketching in some more details he felt were necessary, when he least expected it the girl would call out to him pulling his attention from the map. He would walk over towards her "What do you see?" he asked as he approached the girl, then followed her she seemed to have come across a very curious sight. The way all those stones were positioned, all he could really think to himself was that they had to have some sort of purpose even if they themselves failed to see it at first. Without knowing it his own mind had gone to the same conclusion that Hanelli had, these stones were aligned this way perhaps to tell time in some way.
Without a word he followed her to the stones his eyes moving all around taking in the details of the death that plagued this land, "I wonder whats keeping everything here so dead...gloomy too" he said a she walked along making his way further down the path his attention just taking in the details of his surroundings. He would stop at the center, "Woah...check this out" he said to the girl as he stood over a large circular piece of stone that seemed to have some interesting carvings upon its surface. He would look around, his fox ears twitching a bit, and his tail swaying looking up from the curious sight he stared at Han. "I think those small stones...were stepping stones to lead to this...but does that mean this was once a lake or something?" he asked as he looked around his eyes taking in the surrounding details again. Drawing the area into the map he would do his best to detail it all out, after he was done he would label it 'Mysterious Stone Structure' once he was done he looked back to Han.
"Notice anything else out of the ordinary there miss Hawkeyes?" he asked Han with a teasing chuckle.

“You know, I may have to ask you to write the English words down for my drawings. I can only draw what they mean,” she said, chuckling at his sudden idea of grabbing her map and then writing down something atop what she’d already made. Now that the words on her map were the same as his, he then came to the same conclusion as she did; that the area they’d stumbled on may have been used as a giant outdoor clock of some sort. “You know I also want to know why the land is constantly dead here. Wonder what’s keeping it that way… unless it was really meant to be like this, then we’d have more than just Golems on our hands. We’d also have zombies and all sorts of things undead and gross here…” she said, continuing to map out the area that she had stumbled upon. She then continued to walk around until she’d gotten the entire thing jotted down, and then drew a picture of a clock with a question mark next to it, it was her interpretation of “possible time-telling area?” in so little worlds.
After that she then heard him ask if she’d seen something out of the ordinary, and she then chuckled. “Very funny,” she called out, now atop one of the more manageable outcrops of rock as she tried to squint in the distance. “It’s like you’re telling me I’m a certain Elf who can see far with these eyes… I can only move fast, but I try to see as far as I can,” she said with a chuckle as she tried her hardest to squint in the distance. After looking around, she saw a silhouette on the horizon; wondering what it was, she then decided to go check it out herself. “I… I think there’s a ruin over there. Or something, come on!” she shouted, picking herself up and leaping off of the rock and then dashing towards what she’d seen in the distance—maybe there was some enchantment of some sort that was keeping the land like this? Who knows, maybe they’d find out what it was once they’d gotten to the bottom of this… [367]

WORDS 576 TAGS HANELLI NOTES small notes | I t would not take very long for the girl to live up to her nickname, looking up at the spot where she stood he waited down below not having any intentions of climbing up there with her he in fact just waited for her to point out something in the distance. With a nod he gripped the scabbard of his katana then dashed ahead circling around the massive boulder Han had used to look over the landscape. His cloak rustled behind him as he ran along until he emerged from the other end running right next to Han as the two continued to charge down towards the area where the ruins were located. Bunji would dodge a few trees running between trees, and making his way through the thick vegetation of the forest using the girl as his guide, until finally they broke out of the wilderness. He would land on the ground with a firm plant of his feet, his red eyes taking in the details of the surroundings; but unfortunately Bunji and Han had run into a not so happy situation. "This is...interesting..." he said as he watched a pair of Lesser Golems moving giant blocks around, almost as if they were rebuilding the wall that seemed to have been blasted open? He would raise a brow his tail swaying curiously behind him, then his eyes narrowed, and his stance would widen. The Golems had of course noticed them, one of them raised the giant block it was holding then flung it at Bunji, his eyes widened as he pushed off his feet dropping his weight into a quick roll so that he could get out of the way of the wild attack; hopefully Han had done the same. He listened as the block crashed into the ground slamming on contact digging into the ground leaving a deep indent. Bunji would grip the hilt of his katana pulling it from the scabbard the worn blade would shine to light as he ran forward charging towards the two Golems. When he did they immediately picked up his presence going aggro as they turned in his direction letting out a deep hollow cry. Bunji however smirked as his body would burst into a bright electrical currently that surrounding him entirely he moved in close, using the more the speed boost from [Denkosekka] with this he dashed to the far right avoiding one of the Golems, and quite literally Bunji ran across the surface of the wall for a few steps before pushing off of it just as the Golem was punching at him. The impact crushed the wall, but he managed to strike the other Golem his lightning covered sword hacking at its body the electrical current running through its solid frame, landing with a skid to his shoes he would pick up dust as he spun around towards the giant. Bunji raised his katana overhead allowing the win to gather around the blade, using [Izunagiri] now he would swing downward unleashing the wind around the blade in the shape of a solid wind blade that propelled forward towards the Golem. On impact the creature would cry out in pain as the blade dug deep into its flesh the two attacks lowering its HP quite a bit, Bunji would recover from the attack rushing off to the side getting the attention of the full health Golem, leaving the injured one for Han to finish off. |

Now that she’d spotted the weird thing on the horizon, she was now dashing slightly ahead of him, but still trying to maintain drawing on the special paper that she had with her. She knew that the rock ‘ruins’ she’d discovered were quite large; and now that her map had been filled in, she was quite surprised to see that the area was pretty wide in terms of land coverage. Now that they’d arrived at the next destination (which was the silhouette of whatever she’d seen earlier) they slowed down and saw something weird; why was there a hoe blasted in the wall; and there were two Lesser Golems around as well? Unfortunately though, they were noticed, and the first Golem then tok an attempt at squashing the red-head! Ah hell no you don’t! she shouted in the back of her mind, quickly dropping the mapping implements in her Inventory, and then on the fly, quickly pulling out her new longbow and loading it up with an arrow.
She knew that her quiver of arrows was very limited—and how many shots would it take to bring this ugly freak down; but she knew she had the best shot, seeing as he was now engaged in combat with the full-health Golem! Alright, deep breath, slow and steady… and release! She thought, silently activating Accel Dance so that she had a burst of speed, apparently this also applied to movement speed with ranged weapons as well and she was firing off arrows. Even if she knew that this would take a while, she kept on raining down arrows on the Golem; and after a while, it let out a long, mournful howl before exploding into bits and pieces of data. “Ah crap, I really need better arrows…” she said with a sigh, as she quickly strung up another arrow and then proceeded to provide covering fire for the fox-tail who was now tussling with the second Golem! WORDS 398 TAGS HANELLIE NOTES small notes | H e dodged two swings having faced these things before he was familiar with its tactics Bunji kept his sword firmly in his grasp as he watched the Golem come in for another strike but abruptly stop as an arrow connected with the back of its head causing it to howl in pain, and turn to the direction of he assailant. Bunji smirked "She's just full of tricks" he said as he raised his katana allowing his ace move to activate, [Kabutowari] would kick in allowing Bunji to step with a quick dash swinging at the Golem the creature would how with pain to try, and turn to attack. However its clobbering fist hit nothing but as he jumped back raising his sword once more setting up the second ace skill [Izunagiri] swinging his katana he unleashed a condensed blade of wind that bit down deep into the Golems solid body. However he was far from done, holding his katana overhead Bunji began to spin it his eyes focused on the Golem, at first it seemed like nothing the creature itself even already recovering as it approached the male without any worry. The deep gash on its torso doing little to slow it down. The red haired Fox Tail would smirk as his eyes began to glow the red orbs overtaken by a deep golden color, his energy would begin to flow upwards from his body covering the length of his sword when the Golem was close Bunji would stab his katana into the ground releasing the condense energy into a single blast of golden energy. The energy was released in an instant lighting up the area around him, and blowing the Golem quite literally into the dust its body enveloped by the intense concentration of raw energy that escaped the Samurai's sword. When the golden light faded, we find Bunji breathing heavily using his sword as a means to hold his body up, the Golem was gone. He would fall to his knees breathing heavily, with a weak wave of his free hand he motioned at Han, "G---go...map this area...then come back...scream if you need help" he said with a pair of dizzy eyes as he gave her a weak thumbs up. That attack was bad ass but the toll it took on him always made him question how worth it using it really was. |

Now that the two ‘Golems’ were out of the way, she then looked over to her companion and saw that he was leaning heavily against his weapon; she didn’t know what he’d done, because she was busy peppering the Golem he was taking down and out with arrows and now that they were both nothing but data, he was staggering! “What the hell did you do?!” she shouted in his direction, debating whether or not she was going to rush over, but did it anyway; and activated Accel Dance in order to gain a better burst of speed before finally reaching him; he looked paler than usual. “What were you thinking?!” she said, poking his forehead to make sure that he was still sane and not passed out. “You’re nuts you know, don’t do that crazy shit again, look what happened to you,” she continued, real concern now creeping into her voice and she didn’t realize it, but her face was already turning pink due to facing him for so long.
She then felt her face burning hot, and then she quickly turned away; and then dropped out the mapping implements once again into her hands, while stammering all the while, “W-well, I’ll just screech i-if you need me, okay? C-copy off of my map when I get back,” she said putting on another burst of speed courtesy of Accel Dance; the better to escape the potentially awkward situation! She was now some point away from him; and was now documenting the busted wall (what had caused it to turn out like this anyway) and then drew in the wall as she saw it; and continued inside, because she then noticed that the entire area was actually a building and then saw that the moment she’d stepped within the boundaries, torches began to flicker to life, propped up on the walls. Okay, something is definitely not right here… she thought as she proceeded with extreme caution, because there was something definitely up in the air; torches did not normally burst into flame whenever someone arrived at a ruin. She then realized that there was a second ‘layer’ to the map; and saw that she could map out the entire thing if she wanted to, but was rudely interrupted by a rock that came sailing right into her face!
Ah shit… she thought, barely dodging the incoming projectile and it revealed that there was another Golem this time; although it looked more… different than the other one. It also feels more… violent, she thought, quickly dropping said mapping implements into the Inventory and then stringing up an arrow, before firing it off right at the incoming rock projectiles! Ah shit, shit, shit what is this Golem doing?! She thought, starting to fire off arrows wildly, dodging as much of the flying incoming constructs as she could and falling over backwards; before seeing that the Golem had now reformed itself; and was now about to bring its foot down on her! Seeing that she didn’t want him to worry, she quickly rolled away and pulled herself up; and made a mad run for the blasted hole! Ah crap, ah crap, ah freaking crap I think I found Pandora’s Box! Her mind shouted as she activated her Accel Dance skill and made a mad dash for the ‘hole in the wall’; therefore drawing out what was a more powerful version of the Golem Sentry, based from what she could understand, this one was the ‘Golem Sentinel’.
She knew she had no other choice, so she put on a burst of speed and then screeched, “BUNJI! Get over here! Something big and ugly is—“ she managed to trail off before the Golem Sentinel released its Stomp attack, causing her to lose her balance and get literally knocked down to the ground; the rest of the sentence ended in an ominous scream… [647] Skills Used: Accel Dance Golem Sentinel: 0 / 1 Weapon Used: I ain't no Girl on Fire

WORDS 730 TAGS HANELLI NOTES small notes | H e remained still feeling the girls finger poke him was somewhat annoying but just as he was about to say something about it he looked up only to see the girl leave, he didn't need her to be lecturing him or trying to watch over him the fox tail would sigh quietly as he shut his eyes. He would go into his own space, a zen like state he would begin to try to relax his quickened beat, and relax his muscles that ached feeling a bit worn from the technique he had just used, eventually though his body would begin to relax. He would begin to regain himself as he pushed up from the ground rising up to stand fully upright, he would hold his katana in his hand his eyes closed as he continued to focus on controlling himself. It was until midway through all this that he would hear a sudden screech echo into his ears, the sensitive fox like ears would wiggle, and twitch at the ear piercing sound. He would turn his eyes to the direction of the sound, without a moment to waste he would spring into action rushing into the direction of the scream, the fox tail would be quite nimble as he moved through the ruins. His feet pushing him up throughout the landscape as he made his way towards the girl, Bunji kept moving his body staying light, and with quick dashes he would push himself forward toward the direction of the girl. Lucky for him he was able to hear as the girl screeched again into the air at the top of her lungs this helped Bunji better pin point her location he kept moving making his way towards her, until he stopped looking up he would stare. For a moment his mind unable to register what was going on, until.. ."Wai--WHAT!?" he yelled out before suddenly the girl impacted with him, with no time to even put his sword away he had to throw it aside to not risk stabbing the girl with it when he tried to catch her. The end result was Bunji flat on his back with the weight of the ninja girl pinning him to the ground, he would grunt, and cough as he placed his hands on Han. "Ugh...Han..." he said with another cough as he tried to wiggle out from under her, then found himself pushing up to his feet "You okay?" he asked reaching up to rub his aching head. He felt a bit disoriented but he would be given no real time to recover when he all of a sudden noticed something in the distance, a raging Golem, and not one like the ones they had faced out front. His eyes would widen as he forced himself up still feeling a bit dazed from the solid impact he suffered he rushed over to his sword picking it up off the ground his right hand gripping the hilt firmly as he glared at the Golem with his red eyes. "He doesn't look as easy as the others!" he called out to Han as he nodded at her, "Let's hit him together, and stay focused" he said as he charged forward keeping himself alert as he approached the giant Golem. The creature would let out a deep piercing howl as Bunji was the first to enter its strike range. With a single swing the mighty beast would aim to smash the warrior, but Bunji moved to the left avoiding the attack then kicked off the ground allowing his body to soar into the air then land on the creatures thick arm with a quick thrust downward he pierced its arm. He would hold onto the hilt of the sword as he was flailed around, on the creatures arm but luckily he was able to regain himself then push himself off the creatures arms. Landing with a sloppy pair of feet Bunji would stand at the ready holding his katana as he stared at the Golem, his little attack had done little to damage the creatures HP watching as it came close he raised his katana overhead when the Golem swung again he stepped out of range, then used [Kabutowari] to swing down at the creature his katana slashing into its flesh, the beast roaring in pain as the ace move landed flush. |

The landing was less than practiced; over at where Han was, she was trying desperately to scramble to her feet in order to be able to evade the incoming fist-smashing attack! Since she had no more time to spring to her feet, she decided to roll away, barely missing the impact of the fists that had buried itself where she was mere seconds before and managed to get to her feet; before firing off a few more arrows when it attempted its Stomp attack once more. This time she was more prepared, jumping up to avoid the imminent shock wave and landing once again, before firing off even more arrows as fast as she could sling them into the bowstring, that is. The force of the Golem Sentinel’s attack was driving her backwards; so much that when it repeated its Stomp attack, she decided to dive out of the way and landed straight on top of Bunji! She then felt a blush cross her cheeks as she quickly pulled herself up and off him; being in such extreme proximity to his face!
Gah! No time to blush! Move, move, move! She shouted to herself in the back of her mind, quickly stringing up as many arrows as she could manage and firing them off as fast as her hands would allow; and she backed off in order to let him unleash his own attack against said Golem Sentinel, who was now drawn to his presence instead of hers, when she came up with a very crazy idea. I hope it bloody works… she thought as she quickly opened her Inventory on the fly, and then yanked out the kunai and strung that against the bowstring. Normally, something of this crazy magnitude wouldn’t work, but since there was a rope attached to the kunai, she was going to try and aim to topple said Golem over. “Buy me some time!” she shouted as she was looking for a ‘chink’ in this Golem’s ‘armor’ so that she could fire off the projectile that was now strung up to the bow. Granted, she didn’t have as much tension o the string, but she continued to hop around, looking for an opening; and then she saw it. There was a certain part of the Sentinel’s body, just between its head and neck, that was exposed, a definite weak spot.
“Keep ‘im busy!” she shouted again as she tried to take aim; and once the Sentinel had maneuvered itself closer to her vantage point, she then let the projectile fly, not knowing if it work. She had fired it in an upward angle; but watched as it came screaming down on the Sentinel and then managed to score a hit somewhere near the ‘chink’; close but not quite! “Okay, I’ll knock him over now!” she shouted once more, quickly singing the bow up her hands and yanking as hard as she could manage on the rope, feeling it go taut and tense as she steeled her legs and threw all her weight against the line, hoping to at least ‘decapitate’ the Golem or knock it to its side. Come on, come on, come the hell on! She thought to herself as she continued to pull on the taut rope, and after what felt like an eternity the head of the Sentinel came loose, and fell to the ground with a dull thudding noise. “The hell?!” she said to herself, looking over at the Golem and then quickly trying to see if she could use the ‘head’ as a weapon against its ‘owner’… to no avail, because the Sentinel’s head was very heavy. “Watch out for flailing…fists,” she said, seeing that the body was now crashing around aimlessly; trying to hit whatever it could with its huge fists. WORDS 371 TAGS HANELLI NOTES small notes | B unji was trapped right in close quarters combat with the Setinel, he would move best he could to avoid its attacks he had no intention getting hit by this thing, when his ears picked up Hanelli's voice he would almost give her a look but didn't dare take his eyes from this thing. He would stare at it as one of the fists came down with a slam, but before he could even react he would watch it stop surely he was going to be smashed but instead the Golem stopped moving entirely its head moving to one side. Bunji raised an eyebrow as he stared at the Golem his sword coming up defensively, yet suddenly out of nowhere the things head came off his eyes would widen with surprise as he saw the head fall clean off. Was this some sort of weird attack!? No the thing was headless, he then noticed a string, following it he watched as the string trailed towards the elf ninja girl his eyes would widen further but before he could say anything. He found himself reacting to the wild swings of the savage Golem, he would jump back avoiding the wild swings from the savage headless beast, this was just downright creepy! He would step back doing his best to get out of its reach, but the thing seemed to have pin pointed him somehow moving forward as it pursued him aiming to destroy him with its giant fists. With a pair of intense red eyes he would watch as the Golem charged towards him, he had to react otherwise he was screwed! Bunji would activate [Denkosekka] to allow him to release a concentrated stream of electrical energy that would allow his body to move with greater agility. Bunji used this to circle around the giant Golem avoiding its wild fists as it tried to smash him, its attacks hitting the solid smashing into it luckily the Fox Tail nowhere near that attack range. He would use the range to come to a sliding stop then he looked over at Hanelli "We need to stop that thing now!" he said to her as he turned his attention to the Golem his electrical energy dispersing. |

Now that she’d somehow managed to ‘unseat’ the head of the Golem Sentinel, she was now left with a…very heavy paperweight on the other end of her kunai. What she failed to notice, however, was the fact that Bunji was now locked in battle with the crazy ‘headless’ Sentinel; she only looked up in time to see him fire off another attack and was now apparently screeching in her direction as well! Oops, sorry about that! She thought, quickly tying off the rope to her ‘armor’ and then dropping out the longbow and the quiver of arrows once again in her hands. “Keep still, hold him down!” she shouted, quickly stringing up an arrow and letting it loose in the direction of the Golem Sentinel, which was now flailing so much in his direction; he had just launched another attack towards it, and was now trying to avoid the rest of the flailing and separating body parts that the Sentinel was trying to aim at them!
“Shit, if we only had some sort of Water-based attack…” she hissed to herself, stringing up one arrow after another, and quickly firing it off as fast as she could manage; they were sailing and bouncing off harmlessly from the separated pieces of rock that were now headed in all directions! She knew that she head to end this sooner or later, otherwise they’d be walking back to Sarum with pieces of rock; or worse. She then tried once more to heft up the rope that had the Sentinel’s head on it, to try and swat away the incoming gravel and had to dodge and duck more times that she could count, finally getting out of range and hefting the rope as fast as she could. She then noticed that if she were to drag the ‘head’ along the ground, it would work... but why was it so heavy? She then tried to lift it up, and due to all the effort she was exerting, the head came loose out of where it had fallen and then she decided to pull it closer instead. After a while, she had managed to do so, and was now busy trying to remove the stuck kunai; for she had another weird idea; hopefully it would work!
Give me a few moments here, give me a few moments here… she thought as she finally freed her kunai and dropped it back into her Inventory and then tried to lift up the head to see if it would work. At first she struggled; but after a few failed attempts, found that she could manage the head in her hands much like carrying a pile of books. “Get out of the way!” she shouted again, hefting back as much as her body weight would allow and then chucking the ‘decapitated’ head of the Sentinel towards its flailing body, since it had somehow reformed and was now attempting another shot at trying to flail its fists towards the staggering fox-tail; and she crossed her fingers as she watched the head sail through the air; and struck the backside of the Sentinel on impact. The head then rolled, and bounced off it, before coming to a stop and then exploding into bits of data.
“Wha?!” she shouted, quickly noticing that the fist that was headed once more towards the fox-tail had now exploded into data bits as well; and that the rest of the Golem Sentinel was now exploding, bit by bit; until it had fully disappeared. Now that the threat was over, she then dragged herself over to the fox-tail, and then gave him a once-over; he was in terrible shape. “C’mon, let’s get you back to the base camp, you need to rest up…” she trailed off, quickly picking up his sword and then temporarily dropping it into her Inventory for a while; and then hoisting him across her shoulders. Yes, she may be shorter than he was, but if one was revved up by an overdose of adrenaline; anything’s possible. “At least we got more of the area mapped out…” she trailed off as she dragged him back to the camp, making sure to also drop his mapping paraphernalia temporarily into her own Inventory as well; seeing as how tired and worn-out he was.
