Loki merely smiled as he rose out of bed, his body avid and calm in the midday sun. Never before had he been able to sleep for the sake of sleep. It felt nice; however, his mind was jittery when he came to think upon something, an old memory from back in the previous world. It was this memory that had kept him the way he was for so long and now he was feeling that this memory would sufficiently come apart to be something else entirely. Just requiring him to learn that one of the three siblings he had were also in this world. Never before in his reality had he ever encountered that strange belief of connection with someone in such a sense as if he had met her before. Eyes closing for a brief moment before finally he saw the images all over again, the images of his family fourteen years ago.
The flashback came to life while he felt the pull to his very soul in such an amiable sense that it drove him crazy. Six at the time, six years old while he just focused and maintained a sense while watching TV. Rather Alex just sat there on the couch while his grandmother of his mother’s side of the family maneuvered the remote for the TV to change channels until the finale came. The TV landed on the news, a news station that Alex would never forget as his mind focused in on that channel, do not ask why a six year old would be interested in the “Fox-4” news but it just drew him in. The date was November 26 and in the early morning when the news chopper went out. That was when the pain striking feels came to life in his life and the life of the family.
There was a major car accident that occurred directly as the chopper was overhead, and that was something that normally never was shown on the news but it occurred right then and there and the one thing one never wanted to see on the news line before it was cut. The black ice wreck with a green suburban rolling over, the door busting open as a body was halfway out before a bit of red was shown with the vehicle making one last turn. The body crushed, and presents were strung all over the place out of this vehicle. Alex heard screaming next to him. That sister had merely been three years old. Even she knew the car, a car that we all played around so often. It was mommy’s car, that plain and simple to say as well. Alex began to close himself away into video games at such a time.
This is the earliest memory Loki has, yet for the life of him before entering, and after, Elder Tales he could not remember his mother’s face for the life of him. This also did not help when just two years later on February 11, something new happened. It was then that their family was split apart. A family that could not be truly happy any longer with the way things would become. The darkness boding overhead and he absolutely hated it that much more. Eight years old that year, Alex had walked into the garage to help his dad with the truck, even though he knew nothing about it, he was learning about it slowly but surely. However, his sister was there as well, a sister whom had been watching the whole time it seemed before his eyes followed after where she was staring at which such wondrous fright.
Their dad, he was inside the cabin of the truck with a hose from the exhaust to the main cabin, a terrible taping job. Alex could just tell that this was going to the all that much more terrible for his sister as well as himself, his mind coming alive when he faced the fact that his sister was now in an even worse state. Alex saw their dad asleep in the cabin with a smile and a cola in hand. This was when Alex gained a fascination in death like any depressed kid, but his sister was traumatized because she watched the death occur in its own life. Alex moving his sister around, back into the house before telling his father’s fiancé that Dad was asleep in the garage and needed to be checked on. Mainly because there was just so much smoke inside that cabin of the truck that it frightened him.
Loki felt the pulling on his spirit, shuddering lightly in his own fright as he felt himself coming alive until finally he went back into that life. Alex shuddered and saw his sister move into the pier of the airplane’s tunnel. This was where Alex felt the reversal, his mind swirling until finally falling about as a swirling vortex until finally, the mind reversal was made and Alex became Zoe who changed her name to Clair Sukura. Jojo was her name in the game, and a name she forever keeps in her mental state for the eternal thoughts within her mind. Such timing drew her in and kept her there no matter how long it was to stay and remain such a timely fashion as she had moved all the way out to Japan and it was then that she ultimately stayed aware.
Out of the flashback, it was Jojo’s mind now, the connection there and staying aware as all things static between them remained, their eyes meeting in the travels as Loki was there, and Jojo was across the way along the road. Her eyes meeting his as she whispered one word internally, “Brother,” as she knew those eyes. It was a mimic of the true eyes her brother had outside of this game and for a moment, she thought she was going to be the one to fall over and enter an eternal sleep until she brandished her sword in the same moment that he brandished his bow. Their bodies in sync as the fighting would begin and therein nothing good would come of it. It was this timing that brought about the internal decision to fear and fully hate even more, such a timing that truly frightened her as she raced forwards and aimed to smite him.
Their fighting attempts and multiple attacks of such coming through and the fighting lasted for fifteen minutes. Just long enough for it to be realized that even though Jojo was so high up in level against her brother, it was the player kill that occurred. It was something that continually tried to keep her from utilizing her skills in such a light that kept her being healed over and over. It was a repetition battle, every time she fell asleep and got shot at with an arrow, another bodily harm just led her reactive heal to take over as she just mass used that over and over for herself. Her healing abilities coming through and saving her life in numerous ways and led her to loving it all that much more as the fighting continued and stayed fluid within her. It was then that the battle came to a standstill.
Her brother falling over, falling to a mental sheen that slowly and passively kept him in such a form as Jojo formed the light spear of the Martyr Spear attack to form. It was the finishing blow, a blow directly at her brother as the spear of light hit and crushed him in a way that she only smiled, his life dropped down to a faltering one, while she was breathing heavily, yelling out loud “LEAVE ME ALONE!” The memories ceased, the trauma made sense to finally disappear and now all that was left was the being within her and now her brother’s light vanished in her eyes, and Jojo was alone again. Alone with her mental statements of now thoroughly tired and no longer afraid as she drowsily fell over, her back landing along the back and eyes rolled over into the back of her mind.
