MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | Now that she had some free time on her hands, Han decided to craft some extra things for Bunji. Now that he knew someone who could make potions for him, she decided to put her skills to good use—although she wanted to turn down his proposal of paying for whatever she’d made, he’d insisted—and in the end she’d agreed for him to pay her. Now that she had the necessary ingredients, she decided to try out the recipe she’d already used in Sarum before—as she was going to make a Medicinal Tablet. Knowing that the process was going to be horribly tedious, she then decided to get ready, quickly separating the ingredients she needed—as well as setting up her workspace in the ‘building’ she’d decided to claim for her own—and was soon ready to roll out. Mortar and pestle, check and ready. Frying pan for shaping the ingredients together, check and ready. Fire… well I better get that started as well… she thought to herself as she then gathered enough fuel to make a decent-sized fire; and after a while she had the flames going, and she began to fan them to keep the embers low.
She then headed back to her work space and then began the process; by first selecting the two Impure Tablets and then dumping them into the bowl. She then picked up the grinder, and then debated on doing this as fast as she could—but then decided against it, because there was a very high chance she’d mess up on it. She then began to pound the two Tablets into rough pieces; because she needed to make sure that she had it all ready. Wondering if it was a good idea to take a liberty with the steps, she then picked up the bottle that held the Impure Solvent, and gazed at it for some time, before deciding to pour it all into the ‘pan’ to let it simmer. She knew that this time it had to be made into the shape of a pancake, before rolling it up into the small tablet that one could make, so she then stepped over to the fire and fanned it to get the flames going. She then uncorked the bottle and then poured a few drops of the Solvent into the pan in order to get it started, then returned to where the mortar and pestle stood; as she needed to get this all done before everything blew up in her face and she ended up shaming herself instead for it.
Now that she had relocated herself to the mortar and pestle, she then continued to pound and mash the two Tablets into the finest paste she could manage—even finer than what she’d done haphazardly in Sarum—and then started tapping the bowl so that she was sure that there would be no reside left behind. “Okay that’s done,” she said to herself as she looked at the opened bottle of the Solvent, and then slowly, but surely poured out the entire contents into the bowl and then started using the pestle to mix the mass together into a manageable paste that she was going to eventually cook over the fire and then mold and cut into a tablet—or multiples thereof, since it looked like she was going to end up with multiples—and continued the process, not minding the abnormal squishing noises emanating from the bowl. I wonder how hot the pan is, it has to be at a certain level before I toss the entire mixture into the heated thing, she thought as she started whistling to herself so that she wouldn’t get too bored making the Tablet.

Medicinal Tablet 2 / 3

MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | Han was now mixing up the ‘compound’ in the bowl, and when she looked down at it, it looked like…slop. “Gross,” she said to herself, lifting the mortar and then taking a sniff at the ‘compound’ that was stuck on its end; before letting it drop into the bowl again, where it made a squelching noise upon impact. She then checked up on the ‘pan’ just to make sure that it was heating up right—and then saw that the pan was now giving off a somewhat ‘peculiar’ odor. Wondering if the Solvent had something to do with it, she then returned to the bowl and continued to mix the ingredients together, hoping that it would not result in a lumpy mass of ‘death’ that would be ingested by the poor fox-tail! Ugh, nope, I am not going to poison him… she thought as she continued to swirl the mixture together, and after a while, she then noticed that the consistency of the ‘gunk’ in the bowl looked like that of uncooked pancake batter.
That means I’m getting pretty close to it, she thought as she continued to swish and mix the ‘compound’ together, before finally hefting up the bowl in her hands and going over to where the pan was now sufficiently heated, and then she tipped the bowl over, letting the mixture spill out and coat the bottom of the pan as evenly as she could manage. She also tapped the sides, and even used the mortar like a scraper, in order to make sure that she got the entire solution laded out so that there would be no wasted ingredients. Now that the entire thing had been poured out into the pan, she then began fanning the flames; as she needed to make sure that it cooked at the same approximate temperature as a pancake normally did—but she would have to flip it over as fast as she could mange, because she couldn’t mold half-assed and sloppy Tablets now, could she? She then continued to fan the flames, all the while lifting the pan to make sure that the thing she was making wasn’t going to be overcooked. Since the fire was taking some time to heat up, she then took a deep breath—and then blew as much as she could manage onto the ‘embers’…and ended up coughing in the process.
Ugh, that’s just gross, she thought as she snorted off to one side, before taking another deep breath and then blowing on the embers to make sure that they weren’t going out; as the fire looked too weak for her own taste. Now that she had the fire really going, she then placed the ‘pan’ back onto the heat source, and then proceeded back to the work space and then prepared the rest of the things she needed in order to be able to roll the ‘concoction’ into pill-sized portions. She first dropped out a ‘chopping board’, and then placed it there, along with its accompanying knife. She then returned to where the pan was placed, and saw that the mixture was bubbling—a sign that it was good to go. She then reached for the pan, and gripped the handle with both hands—and then attempted to flip the thing out of the bottom. At first, it was stuck, but after resorting to getting the knife, she then scraped off the underside and then tried to flip it again—barely managing to catch it as its sudden flight caught her by surprise! Damn that thing, she thought as she then set it back down and prepared for the final steps so that she could deliver the finished product by the time she was done.

Medicinal Tablet 3 / 3

MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | Han knew that she had to work fast, otherwise the thing would be rendered ‘unmoldable’ (if there was even such a term) so she then let it stay on the fire for a few seconds; before quickly lifting the pan off from the heat source and making a mad dash towards the chopping board and then tipping out its contents, so that whatever was in the pan would flop out and fall on it. She then had to shake the thing several times before hearing something actually drop from the pan, and when she lifted it, she saw that there was still ‘residue’ left behind. She then used the blunt side of the knife to quickly scrape the excess off from the pan, and then shook it atop the molded ‘thing’ that had fallen from the pan itself; and then set the pan aside. Now that she had the final step in front of her, she then very carefully began cutting the pile of ‘glop’ into smaller, more manageable, bite-sized shapes, before rolling them up so that they weren’t just strips.
This process took her some time, but once she was done, she then took a step back and admired her handiwork; seeing that there was a bit of extra, she decided to test the item for herself to see if the effects would be the same. Taking a deep breath, she then said, “Bottoms up,” to nobody in particular, and then quickly popped the ‘extra’ sample of the Tablet that she’d just made. Of course, the moment it hit her tongue, she began chewing on it—noting that there was a soothing, spearmint-like taste to it. Oh, now that’s tasty, she thought to herself, taking a look at her Health bar and seeing that even if it was near-full, it was slowly but surely filling itself up—and then came to a stop, for she now had full Health points once again. “This is good,” she said to herself, quickly taking out some wrapping and then packaging the item, before dropping it into her Inventory. She would have to find the recipient of the item and then hand it to him herself; and she then proceeded with cleaning up her work station, since there was such a clutter and mess everywhere she looked. Man I’m such a messy person, she thought to herself as she began to wash out the mortar and pestle; as well as the ‘pan’, before leaving them to dry.
She then walked over to where the fire was now sputtering, and with a few quick stamps, it was put out. Now that she had completed the craft, she then decided to look for something else to do in the meantime.
