| Rude. That was the only thing that Caerbannog could think of when Narihama slashed at the golem’s right knee cap and threw the lower leg away. The very same lower right leg that she’d been holding so that she could drag the thing up to Sarum camp. They had no rope, so what was she supposed to do? Go back up to the camp and risk having all the golems wake up with her back turned to them, or send the other party members to get rope from the camp and she’d have to deal with awakened golems without killing them? How about a real world analogy here. A friend took up a massive tray of burger and fries to bring it over to your table, and then you got up, grabbed the tray out of that friend’s hands and passive-aggressively you tell him ‘take it easy’. And then there was the fact that the guardian was Level 1. Elder Tale still had its own semblance of physics which, unfortunately for people who were used to being strong in the real world, factored in levels. Caerbannog did not unsynch to show off. She unsynched because using the Teacher System was no longer necessary and would not be beneficial towards their objective, which was to bring the golems back to Sarum Camp. Golems were made of stone. There were three golems made of stone piled on top of each other, each one had a level which was higher than the guardian’s; each one was larger, denser and heavier than the guardian. All of that was internalized of course, because unlike Narihama, Caerbannog took care to not be rude. Instead of complaining about the sheer impossibility of it all, the samurai fell back to the golem’s waist and put her hand in a groove where what was left of the upper leg was connected to the rest of the golem. The wolf-hair samurai then proceeded to pull at that part which was considerably harder than what she’d been doing before the guardian sliced off the right that she was holding. Okay, he could have this task; if that was what he needed to do for his tank pride or something. Caerbannog’s eyes narrowed to slits as she observed the other wolf-hair from behind. He reminded her of someone, her own brother Kumori who was quite an asshole at some point, ordering people around and such. But there was one difference; the things that Kumori did usually made sense. Except maaaybe that time when he said that Renai was a melee attacker. A Level 1 guardian pulling three stone golems did not make sense; not in the real world, not in this world either. But hey, they finally reached the entrance of the camp. Nisha followed closely and Scoria already went ahead; he waited for the rest of the party with his usual glare all up on his face. Narihama then said something-something... what was that? Get or what? Finish this quest? Caerbannog wanted to punch him right then and there, but she didn’t. Instead, the girl put her hand deeper into the groove at the golem’s lower side, grabbed a large chunk of stone there and pulled it promptly pulling off the rest of the golem’s right leg (technically the thigh) as well. The samurai then tossed that to one side, careful not to hit any of the incoming landers who had ropes and such and went about to tie the golem sentries up, thus concluding the quest. She would not hit any of those landers because that would have been rude. Caerbannog was never rude. No. Sure her eyes were golden and full of murder as she stared at the guardian, but she was NOT rude. Caerbannog closed her eyes, inhaled and then exhaled. When she opened her eyes, they were blue once again. She looked at Narihama and bowed to him, if only out of respect. It was something that her relatives taught to her. Afford respect to each and every person, no matter what. “ Tanks lead parties. Protect healer, protect members. Know strengths and weaknesses, “ the wolf-hair said to her fellow wolf-hair. The samurai turned to her fellow samurai, the foxtail Nisha, and bowed to her deeply. “ Sorry for earlier, “ the wolf-hair said to the foxtail but she did not specify for what she was sorry, “ And also sorry for this... cannot stay but if need me, find the guild Aeryn. Going home with the baby and her dad now. “That’s right. She totally used Hourai-san as an excuse to not murder the guardian. It was the first time in a long time that Caerbannog was actually truly pissed off. Perhaps it had something to do with her taking her tank role so seriously. In any case, it was a good thing that the druid stuck around to bid her an Otsudeshita. The samurai took the baby sprite by the hand and, boldly enough, she took Scoria by the hand too. And it was not an ordinary handshake or touch or whatever; the wolf-hair gripped Hourai-san’s hand tightly as if to say that she would rip his arm off if he pulled away. Also, she glared at him. “ Let’s go home now, Scoria-kuuuun. “And then the happy (LOL) family headed out of the camp. P.S.Caerbannog let the baby go home with her dad. As the Auntie, the court would only grant her visiting rights at that point in time. | .: OOC Notes :. Quest complete.

Nisha was worried a second if the lander could handle the golems, but they came with ropes and in masses to get rid of the golems and one after the other the count went up how mayn they had brought in until apparently they had fulfilled their work and they could really call this quest over. Though Nisha did wonder why she had not wondered before what kind of thing they would do with these golems. She still had that still image of a road made out of golem plates in her mind as well as burning fields from here to the new city. But it did not really matter all that much in the end, because no matter what would happen, it would definitely change the whole climate and everything around here, from the amount of monsters around to the landers to the players who walked around. Even though they barely left any permanent mark on the land, they prepared it for the landers to change. Nisha was indifferently about this whole thing since sure it would destroy nature, but it would make it safer and who cared in the end since it was all in a game. Hearing unfamiliar words, she looked in puzzlement for the hair of a second before shaking the hand that had been offered her with a generous smile of the 'wow, that was quite nice' variant in her shelf. Nisha felt like she had accomplished something, even if it was not much in the means of battle, she had at least gotten this grumpy high level guy to acknowledge her existance and even praise her, if that had not been some good work right there, Nisha did not know what else could be. And a second surprise followed right after as she saw and heard the highest leveled player, who had been quiet as well utter scathing words toward nari, well, she did show him with her arguments that he indeed had done wrong and even though Nisha felt like she had not deserved praise for her performance as well, she not only had just gotten praise while being glared at from scoria, but now even she got apologized too. Well... that was, actually, this might be the first time since she had been a child that she had been speechless for a few seconds, she wanted to reply faster to scoria and Caer, but her tongue was tied for a moment, while she registered what had been said and formulated words in her mind. She would definitely not just go and mumble some stuff that made no sense or sentences that were only half finished, in the process of cooking them up. But really, it was nice to see that these two had not yet fully given in to their high level status and even gotten around to saying good job and excusing themself to her, maybe for the handshake? Or that they had not more time to talk or train the two noobs? Whatever it had been, Nisha was sure any new conversation or interaction with them would result in interesting and funny conversations. Deciding not to follow them to find out something to get them to talk some more, but wait for another good chance to walk by, she stopped her thinking, breathed ins lowly and calmed down. Getting a bit of presence of mind back, she noticed that apparently she would have to go alone if she really wanted to drink, she did not really have an appetite and the drinks so far did not taste much different from each other, so that she could just as well drink water from the source or whatever. "Good work all of you too, and don´t worry, I will just get up my tree again for a nap then, until some other quest pops up, see you guys around sometimes and do tell if you find something interesting." Waving at them, she wandered off to said tree not too far off at the edge of camp that had a clear scar of an axe in it´s skin which Nisha hoped would not get people to try and cut it down more, she was really tired of being woken up by her bed shaking at the most impossible of times and having to get into a fight with people. Even though after this quest, she should not have that much of a problem with it anymore, seeing as she should have leveled up at least a level. Yawning she began climbing the tree and looked over a last time to the party that now dissilved, wondering if nari would survive this crushing criticism, if she would met caer again and if she would ever get to see another facial expression on scoria than a glare or slightly different glare. Welp. Caerbannog was ripping golems apart with her bare hands. That was nice. The real worry in Scoria's eyes was Kyuu's. The wolf-hair seemed like she had her racial features out a fair bit, but one thing that Scoria knew for sure was that when her eyes were as golden as they were and directed straight at someone with that expression... The druid's eyebrows furrowed just a smidgen deeper as he solidified his reserve to stick around, but thankfully, Caer had not gone triggerhappy and murdered every Guardian in sight. So just Nari then. Well, at least she was giving him some sort of advice and not "lololol dis bitch neep you." He would have been surprised if she had, yes, but the look she had on her face a few moments ago had basically cemented Scoria's thoughts on the matter. And, perhaps unfairly, if Caerbannog showed that level of dislike towards someone, chances were Scoria would as well. He was just that type of dude.
Oh and the two Samurai were now chatting. How nice. Not that Scoria was a mind reader, but Nisha had gotten one thing in particular incorrect. His attitude was not a result of his levels. The arrogance and downright hate that flowed out of his system like a leaky faucet was something that was natural to the druid. He had been this way since the Catastrophe. He didn't play nice with people, but that was a result of his personality. Something as temporal and fickle as a level advantage was meaningless in front of Scoria and it was partially why most of his tactics attempted to be as level independent as possible. He afforded the fox tail a small nod of the head as he turned towards Caerbannog. Oh hey she was in a guild. He felt like he should have known this information, but then the midget was taking Alraune's hand and then she was taking his hand. What.
What.
No stop that. Stop stop stop you can't do that. No. Scoria flinched instinctively and glared back down at her until he noted that she was glaring up at him. Oh. Good. He had been mildly worried that she was going to be one of those touchy-feely kind of friends and he wasn't sure how he was going to handle someone like that. Still, it was best to minimize contact. His bad luck tended to quite literally rub off on other people. Also what up with that honorific. Well he could do it too. Yeah. "Lead the way, Caer-chan." He felt gross just saying it. He was going to apologize to Caerbannog and maybe even bow the moment they were out of sight and hearing range of these other players. And a ways away from the camp, Scoria tipped his head down and did just that. Then they eventually parted ways and Alraune bid him a farewell. No Auntie meant the forest sprite no longer wanted to be around. So she left. Rude. Hella rude.
