[OOC: Inspired by Rincewind quotes]
Bast didn’t much care for how Caer hadn’t broken and scattered glass everywhere when they were on a mission of cleaning but well what were you going to do when there were guards sounding alarms and rallying men, really the fat man really wasn’t jolly was he. He picked up his heals and launched himself through the window after the rest of the party when the guards gave chase Bast stopped caring about where he was running to or with and just paid attention to importance of what he was running From.
After he took notice he was in fact not being followed anymore, he tried to work out where he had ended up and which way was to the park they had started from…he soon noticed he wasn’t carrying all the equipment they had been utilising, he hoped he hadn’t left a path of dropped items and just in case he had increased his pace and lengthened his stride even with his heavy breathing, until he heard a crashing sound and bolted it. Bast never found out what the sound was…he didn’t care after all if running away served any purpose it was to aid those who ran to be able to run away again.
When he finally reached the park he couldn’t see anyone, so he headed back to the pub he had started this morning in hoping for a meal and a pint. Sadly neither came free and he hadn’t earned a penny today and wasn’t in the mood to head for the bank so worked for his meal and drink, cleaning dishes…whoever said cleanliness was godliness lied, it’s simply another rip off, but the pint drank after work felt so much better than he had imagined but that might be his lightened stomach talking…so he bit into his bad tasting food and drank after a day and a night cleaning for a living...not his best day in Elder Tales but he had seen the sights, so what could he complain about and made a small toast to those he had been with his Spade cleaning party.
~The End~
