In order for Mab to have a good day certain things needed to be prepared. To start off her day the best way possible the druid always made sure to have a hearty breakfast. After all it was the most important meal of the day. Well that is what the girl believed and she acted upon it. This did not mean she had a huge breakfast or anything. It just meant she started with a meal that most people would not want for breakfast. Well maybe they would how would the author know. But today was different, she had not been able to get her favourite meal. The shop where she usually went for breakfast was closed today.... and even worse Calliste was not open yet. So there was just no way for the girl to do anything but look around for a new place.
This did not work well for the girl who liked her breakfast. Most places were not even open for breakfast. As she scoured the shopping district she remembered a cake store. It might not make the best breakfast but at least it was good food. As she started walking towards the cake store she reminisced on the time she went there with the sly fisherman. The fox-tail cleric who seemed to enjoy conning people out of their heard earned money. It was a game to him she remembered and he played within boundaries, he never went too far. Mab had never gotten the hang of the way he negotiated prices and managed to get away with it. The store lady was nice, she was a business woman who was aware of her quality and did not mind asking the right prices for that. Mab did not hold that against her, and usually Mab left with more then she intended to buy to begin with.
That was alright though as the food usually found a decent home sooner or later. In fact it was usually sooner. Mab had told people of this place as it was usually quiet. Mab hoped that business would pick up for the owner, as she was a truely nice and brilliant pastry chef. As she headed towards the store she noticed something odd. From the corner off her eye she believed she saw someone, maybe someone she had met before.
