Alchemists, Mana Fragments, and the New Market

Hi.

Materials no longer exist in the shop. You pay (Item Level x 5) for each material. Pretty straightforward. The concern I'm having is with Mana Fragments.

You obtain 1 Mana Fragment for every post you make in a research or crafting thread. Cannot be speed crafted, but can be bought by spending a Material Fee of 5 x (number of fragments) x (item level).

First, mana fragments never had a level. At all. They were a constant that cost 25 gold per fragment, regardless of what item was created. Is this changing?

Second, with the removal of materials, how do Alchemists use/claim these mana fragments?

Third, if mana fragments now have a level when being 'bought', what level are they when an Alchemist produces them naturally?

From the notice:

Crafting using Mana Fragments is a slight exception - they can be crafted naturally by Alchemists but can also be purchased by paying a Material Fee of 25 gold each. Mana Fragments do not have levels, so they do not count toward the average level of an item. An item crafted purely out of Mana Fragments has its item level equal to the maximum craftable level of the crafter. This means it is usually capped at 10 unless the respective upgrade tools are obtained.

This means while Mana Fragments won't be changing, other items like the Stabilized Crystal and Unstable Cores will now have levels. A level 8 Alchemist making an Unstable Core will have their core be Level 8. A Level 10 Alchemist can craft a Level 10 core. A Level 30 Alchemist without a crafting tool can craft a Level 10 core, etc. The Mana Fragment recipe will be edited accordingly.
